To conjugate regular -AR verbs in Spanish present tense, drop the -AR ending to get the stem, then add the appropriate ending based on the subject: -o (yo), -as (tú), -a (él/ella/usted), -amos (nosotros), -áis (vosotros), -an (ellos/ellas/ustedes). When using double verbs, only conjugate the first verb and leave the second in infinitive form. Place 'no' before the conjugated verb for negative sentences. Some verbs like buscar, escuchar, esperar, and mirar don't require prepositions in Spanish that English requires. Subjects can often be omitted since verb conjugation indicates the subject.
