In 2023.
>> Wow.

>> But your last question was reason.
You told us the reason and when did you go? Okay. So, you were in the US, right?
>> Yes. USA.
Tell us something. Tell us. I mean, we we we You're telling me 2019 just 2026 and you're saying you are here to say to tell us >> come on >> what made you to relocate and why so early like I mean guys I mean I mean to be honest guys we honored Guys, we honored guys. We are staying in We are sitting in a beautiful house, guys.
You don't believe.
All right. So like um right Zimbabwe. So I used to work for a very good company.
That was like around 20 Mhm.
All right.
20 21 then that's when I met So like we were both like independent.
He was independent. I was independent and I could afford at a very young age. I was just fortunate enough.
>> So we continued.
>> I was working. He was working.
Yeah.
>> Okay. You can you can continue.
>> So the thing was like was empowered at a young age.
So I I had everything that I needed and then I met my guy.
So like when we got married and then we were able to even afford.
Okay.
>> Tell me when did you when was your wedding?
2011 2013 I continued working for my Okay. Okay.
Yes.
So really there wasn't anything wrong with our life of course.
So like on the idea it's going to make your life better.
All right.
Okay.
I don't know if it's this if our country is still the same. I I cannot give an opinion on that. But so it was just an advancement of our life. Okay.
>> But really we were okay.
I was grateful.
able to afford everything.
Mhm.
So I think the reason why we came back there was never anything wrong but it was just an advancement.
So who come up with an idea? Okay.
All right.
All right.
All right.
Where do you get the money?
All right.
They were doing good.
Yeah. Number So everything just so fast trying your life trying our life. So this is what happened. I didn't even resign from my job cuz I was like maybe I didn't even resign from my job. So you know the night before. Yeah.
You were just trying.
We like this family. We want to help them. And then last minute.
Yeah.
All right.
Jesus.
I think it was around $800. Wow.
All right.
$7 fridge.
What are you eat?
Friday, this was Monday. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday.
Yeah. So, like actually a very beautiful country because they've worked, you know, so like civilization.
It's a fast.
>> It's a very very nice world actually. So organized organized everything is just super super >> like you don't suffer really everything and then you can easily like the car phone.
>> Okay.
Maximum hours 20 hours per week. Okay.
I'm not when we arrived. Really?
Okay.
So everything was just but then like what happened was like about two I started missing home.
>> Okay. like it's like homesickness like some some things that people may fail at to understand like why did you come back home?
>> As I explained before when we I there was never anything for me that was wrong.
>> Okay, I see now you see why I explained but I feel like we just trained ourselves to love the little family that we had to love the little things in I felt like we had arrived. Wow.
There wasn't even anything wrong.
Minimum was $500 every month.
>> Wow. Then you surviving 300. Okay, guys, these people $500, >> but they were so comfortable.
>> They were okay with just $500.
>> So, just think of it.
>> Yeah.
>> Another country >> to survive with that money, guys.
It's not possible. Yeah.
There was like so many factors like home sickness. Homesickness.
I loved the life that I had before cuz I felt like, you know, I felt like it was just too much.
They just mind their own mind.
They not even reserved like you know.
Yeah.
get 24 hours.
So definitely life depress and would hang out but like most of the time everybody would just mind their own business because we we're there for Everybody's super busy. Of course, we try to hang out, but I'm just I'm an introvert. Really, I like But I wasn't I wasn't even I wasn't even like there was no balance.
>> All right.
>> For me, it was you have to go to work.
>> All right.
You need to work.
>> You need to go to work.
You have to go to work. And then you have to see you have to work for your money. Okay.
>> If you don't work, you fired. You fired.
>> So, no work. No food.
>> No food. South Africa.
When you clock in, you are there to work and they will make sure you work.
>> They will make sure you there wasn't even a problem. And then when you work, you get what? Money.
>> And you have money. You can buy everything you want.
>> But are you happy? Are you satisfied?
>> You're still longing for what? You don't even know.
>> You're still longing. And then when you go there, you you look on your phone, you see people in Zimbabwe making jokes.
And then you in your fancy apartment you're holding the latest phone but then happiness what am I really doing you know and then you go to work you just feel happier you just feel happier and there's nothing wrong with that imagine you go to in foreign country you are 25 or 26 you've been programmed >> with by Zimbabwe in culture 25 years so there's no way you're just going to like >> forget in two years even I mean like It wasn't there. Oh, wow.
It wasn't there and you are not there and now you know like your parents We know the sa everything $500. Shame.
Shame.
Shame.
So, like the main reason was like we were longing for this.
Mhm.
Music. Music.
point. Yeah.
And then what are we really doing?
You'd buy the latest phone just to s your longing. You'd buy the latest not taking away the feeling like even stage We want to play soccer. We want to go out, but then I'll be busy.
Remember, you have to be You have to be present.
>> But you have to be present.
Most of the time you're not okay. You're not okay to deal with.
Can we go and play? Let me tell you this. Fast forward. American We don't want to live our life on postponement.
Maybe we already had everything. Imagine we could afford my latest ones. But I just Then we realize now we have all these beings.
bag. So I was like I you you buy things to s >> but that's not life but they are happy.
>> So sometimes all these material things they do not it's not living your life.
>> That's true. Sometimes you have less but you are happy and sometimes what makes you happy people just helps you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
It's culture. I mean I mean >> so people might not understand it but for us we chose let's not live our life on postponement >> and we chose ah something is lacking.
>> So we chose let's leave.
So it's like a a different kind of life.
I don't know how to explain it.
>> I totally understand.
>> All right.
Thank you guys for sharing.
That was a lot. That is nice. You need you need to say this.
It's normal. It's not normal. I'm one of those like let me just give you a short storyt But I Yes. So it was hard for me.
So the whole Yes. So I preferred because a lot of people like a lot of people like just because we love his English.
Yes. Where's my phone?
>> Yeah. Where's my phone? Where's my phone? And you know the other thing that I realized is motherscame when I was not raised like that. So I wanted that for my kids.
mind their own business. Okay.
That's called friendship.
It's not comfortable.
So, you play by yourself.
you play.
I don't want to also going through a Yeah. So I don't even feel about going to USA. Sometimes it's just about how we were raised >> and then even if we get money, we get good food, we still want to >> Yeah.
>> Exactly.
comfortable.
Four days most of the time.
Yes.
At least this weekend.
We wanted that for our kids. I I started noticing then I competitive little bit of aggression, you know.
depression.
Let's play FIFA.
I'm going to beat you.
>> And maybe you will beat me because I no longer play FIFA anymore cuz I'm usually out there playing soccer.
>> Okay.
But he's just enjoying like watching.
So he's just standing there like for 30 minutes. Did you even hear anything? So he just it's easier to make friends.
>> Yeah. Yeah, but but at least with his age, we can have a whole conversation. I know, but we can Yes. So yeah, 200 second.
I think is in the wrong class.
Can we please have Can you please have that? We need to know something. We need to see something because also benefits.
There were also benefits of you know there also benefits of like I still appreciate it.
We cannot because sometimes our mental capacity as humans we still need to socialize and when you don't socialize as a kid then you become I'm an introvert like you know but I know how socialize.
Yes.
Exactly.
of the sea.
I think you giving him too much.
No, it's too much. Too much no socialization.
But you know what?
They made too much people.
They feel clums.
>> No, it's fine. It's fine.
>> Yeah.
to be honest.
Sometimes when you get too much of everything, it becomes a challenge.
>> Okay.
When you become a man, So we grew up like two rooms for me. It was okay for me. It was okay. Okay.
I just felt so I didn't see anything wrong. Even up to now we are okay.
We still miss the first world because the first world it solves problems weeks and like it's easy. Okay, we just want McDonald's. It can be delivered like >> it can be delivered without hassle.
Anything you need, you can just solve.
But you realize it's no longer solving your problems.
You need more.
>> Yeah.
>> And you need to be we grew up.
So we feel like I need to be there after you can be present now.
Okay. So, um starting and finishing this project, how long did it take you this project? this project 2023 I think around September August to September.
>> Okay. Okay.
Okay. So then we can actually build this place.
It becomes easier.
Yes.
This project is coming to life.
But my window So it us everything.
Okay.
two and a half years. Okay.
Yeah, it's possible.
first. Yes, that is nice. That is nice. We need to thank God for this because wow, this is a huge house. So guys on this video we going to be show you guys >> show you around um their house >> we and Chloe's house. So >> ah stay tuned and watch till the end guys. I don't know you guys maybe you have something to share something to tell someone that you are here guys after just seven years of being something like that. It's actually not blaming them, but you know, >> I mean, it's actually a blessing.
>> It's my opinion. It's not anybody's opinion. But guys, life is so much more.
Mhm.
you >> and then there's so much more than just going for a shift, you know. Sometimes your time when you have the whole life has so much to offer. Imagine are you happy with the life that you have been living after years. But it's a problem. I feel like you'll be fine. But when you start building, it's like everyone.
So sometimes when you want to stay in the diaspora, enjoy your life.
>> Don't wait for tomorrow. Yes.
>> Because tomorrow might never come.
>> So that's why we chose to come back home cuz we were like we don't want to be leaving our lives Monday to Friday.
>> So we wanted to live our lives more and we wanted to eat organic food >> and we wanted to spend time with our parents.
>> They are getting older.
>> You might live to regret it.
You need all of those things. You just don't need money. So money does not solve everything.
>> Yes.
>> But yeah, so far we are happy. We don't have everything. Sometimes we okay.
>> So life is what you choose to be. But sometimes you need more. That's why we came back home cuz we needed more.
>> Some of our fears.
Yes.
Okay. So, Okay.
Yes.
If I was able to make it Here's the thing.
>> If you believe in God, >> Yes.
>> you know God will take care of everything.
>> True.
Even from the day one that is very exactly know they need more.
Sometimes they need more.
>> They need more than just looking at the screen or they need more than just education.
Exactly.
Exactly. That is true.
>> This is me.
become spoiled. So also now when I look at Let me show you.

You can just come here. We want to put So instead of a dining room, you know, you just gather your thoughts, you just addition, but for How to proceed to okay that is beautiful 6.2 2.
