When banks face regulatory requirements to provision for non-performing loans (NPLs), their stock prices may temporarily decline, creating potential buying opportunities for patient investors. The key investment strategy is to avoid chasing stocks that are already rising (the 'moving train' phenomenon) and instead wait for pullbacks to better entry prices. Investors should focus on fundamental metrics like book value, earnings per share, and retained earnings rather than short-term price movements. Historical examples like MTN's recovery from 170 naira to 800+ naira demonstrate that temporary setbacks can present long-term investment opportunities.

DAILY STOCK TRADING/ANALYSIS LIVESTREAMAdded:
their personal and corporate net worth via investing in the capital markets and the money markets. We are back again today and of course we were dealt a great surprise on Friday when everything looked like it was going fine with UBA and suddenly something happened. I'll be here to entertain your questions and to give you guidance as much as possible.
We've tried to do a little bit of that and we are here again for those who are not in the group on Discord app. Well, I've made a post on Facebook, Instagram, um Tik Tok, Twitter, and even YouTube just to give you my own opinion about all that is going on with UBA. The market has opened. It's been two hours after and of course, nothing short of what we expected to happen to UBA. down 10% on the day and having about 93 million offers zero bids but there were people who still bought UBA however the price dropped 55 naira from 55 naira to around 49 naira 50 co the maximum loss that it can ever record for the day thank you very much from wherever you are joining some of you have already been briefed in the group and I hope that you are making sense of all of this everyone is disappointed with UBA.
Everyone who hoped for a dividend definitely is frustrated and of course unhappy. But then as investors that we are because we always want to invest money that we can stay patient with, we may not be as affected as those who put in trading funds into it. And so one being one who have have always recommended UBA even if I keep saying not uh a financial advice I have the responsibility of doing this extra work of digging deeper into the reports to find out what really um went on with the UBA reports. But then we are here again and the most important thing is for us to now find ourselves doing what we know how to do best which is to invest in the market and make the most of every opportunity there is. Thank you very much from wherever you are joining on all platforms on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Tik Tok.
Know what we do? We go ahead to keep liking and sharing the live stream from all corners and of course we do well to particularly participate in the comments. I will go on to take your comments but that is after we do the review of trading activities last week.
The Nigerian exchange closed the week ended April 24th in positive territory, gaining 8,554.92 points to settle at 225,722.49 points and extending the strong upward momentum by all share index. Uh this marks a weekly increase of 3.94% from the previous close of 217,167.57 as the index broke above the 220,000 level for the first time. Market activity also improved with total trades rising to 3.8 billion shares in 297,22 deals compared to 3.5 billion shares previously. While market capitalization reached 145.3 trillion naira, market breath was mixed as 46 equities advanced fewer than 61 in the prior week while 53 declined higher than the 36 and 47 stocks remained unchanged.
The data is saying that the year-to- date performance remains strong with the index returning 45.05% 05% while month-to-day gains stand at 12.14% reflecting sustained bullish momentum.
Trading opened Monday with a 0.4% gain and then momentum picked on Thursday uh which extended until Friday. Okay, I I do not want to waste too much of our time because I want to really entertain as many questions as possible especially from those of us who are thinking of what to do with their UBA. You see, one of the things that we benefit from being a part of a community like this is that when you are unsure what to do, when the market seems to surprise you, you want to fall back on the experiences of members of the club who have seen it and done it. And I'm here to share that experience with you. As far as you follow me and you're a part of this group, you're going to be gleaning and benefiting from 28 years of experience in the stock market. And a lot of times the market behaves irrationally and then sometimes it just surprises you. For now, we've seen the outcome of UB's report on the stock and the question is where do we go from here? I'm going to entertain as many questions as possible.
So never get weary of asking your questions. When you type your question, try to copy and paste repeatedly so that I can easily come back to them because the screens are scrolling automatically before my eyes and I do not want to miss anyone. Let's see how much of your questions we can be able to entertain as we progress. We will do this um responding to comments until 1:00 p.m.

Canala Justice Bernard um Chin Wuba Gloria and Ki appreciate you all for joining on YouTube. Chuba says money coach for life. Thanks for affecting our lives positively. Um, if you find yourself in a community where you can still find a smile and say thank you even when it looks uninteresting because of what UBA has surprised the whole investment world in the NGX with um, you must have indeed found yourself in a very good place. Now Amir Jay Sylvester says good afternoon coach watching from Sagal. Oh Jay, good to see you. I hope Sagal is treating you well.
Mike Mikadens Ventures says, "Hello, my chief coach.
Nothing spoiled a long time I thisu game. I could play him well." Have you heard some people already understand the game and perhaps this may just be one of those last moments when you find a stock like this to buy as cheap as it will ever get to because a reset has happened as I explained in my video. And just like first bank took a hit 748 billion written off. Uh UBS follow suit to 600 and something billion written off so that the unexplained slate. Okay. If you don't understand it, you will follow emotions and the noises around the market and you may just miss fire. We are in this for the long term and if you are there's nothing to worry about. No wonder we're mocking the likes of oh what did Zeni do? They couldn't match up with what GT declared. Well, GT even suffered decline in their profit after tax unlike Zenit. You see that? So, there's a whole lot of batting change that may happen between Zenit and GT in the future. They retain more earnings and they've made more money than GTO but and they pay less and paying less means retaining more. All right, that's by the way. The other one is um Echo Bank declared their results and how much dividend? 2 N or so or 250. Everybody was laughing and wondering. Stand big came again. The most expensive Nigerian bank declared a dividend of two naira or so and everybody was just mocking them.
Now we can see what the problem has been. By the way, First Bank has been declaring 60 ko when UBA declared 5 naira total dividend. First bank was declaring 60 ko per share and that same first bank is more expensive than today's UBA just because UBA decided they can't pay dividend today. By the way, it's not only their decision. This is a regulatory decision um by the CBA.
They already warned them last year that you won't go on taking bonuses and for top management and um declaring dividends to shareholders if you don't secure the bank by paying for non-performing loans. And so they have been forced because the forbearance regime is now over. Some people may wonder what's forbearance? Maybe I should explain. There was a time between 2020 and 2024 when um COVID struck the world. You know, businesses collapsed.
Um there were no much money making businesses because of social distancing. Everybody was avoiding COVID uh infection and all that. During that period, all right, the CBN lowered its restrictions in terms of um or I would say regulations in terms of trying to provide for bad loans, non-performing loans because suddenly oil companies could not do business. Oil prices were dropping. Things were just going haywire and you can't in the face of co go and keep asking for those loans. So CBN said, "All right, we know you are supposed to provide for this, but we understand what's happening in the economy worldwide. So we'll give you time.
try and make sure you make this up. So when the world came out of COVID, the bank still did not provide for those things. And then last year they gave warning. That was the first warning they gave that caused Zeni to cry around that time. Was it 45? Yes. Zeni collapsed to 45.
I think it was October, November last year. when that thing happened, it became obvious that there's a big big challenge um for these companies. So the banks decided to start writing of those things. That was why a bank like UBA paid only 25 kbo when everybody expected they could match the two naira interim dividend of last year. Then a bank like Fidelity decided they won't pay inter dividend having paid 85 ko the previous year. So we are not now surprised that these provisions have to be made. Of course bank has been paying 60 co and the other time I shared with us here that um um the chairman of first bank stated in the board meeting I mean in the AGM that he did not buy so and so stakes in terms of billions of naira invested in first bank only to be receiving 60 cobbo dividend. Everybody heard me say that. So we are really not surprised to the extent that UBA decided not to pay dividend is where the surprise is coming from. Okay. But that dividend they did not declare that we are not receiving. Tony and his his his people to will not receive it because the CBM insisted left to them alone they would like dividend because they have millions of shares of UBA but they are also not benefiting. So that's one thing we need to know. Now let me go on to your comments so we can enjoy ourselves.
Hello coach. The stock market has a mind of its own. You'll be at it again. Yes, we are aware and we are watching very keenly why did you run after a moving train? Uh, someone is asking somebody there. I guess please coach UB is the highest stock I have and I bought at 53 and my portfolio is negative. Please, what do you advise I do? Um, Wend luxury trap you will and everybody needs to learn.
No matter how much a stock is hyped, don't chase when it's running. Okay. Now what has happened is you have bought at a high just before it climbed one step further to 55. Now what has happened will lower it even tomorrow then maybe on Wednesday. So what you can do you will average down. Don't sell this UBA. This UBA we're looking at at 53.
And I like to be quoted like this. And the only way I can be quoted like this is when you come back and say you said this thing mark my words it's 53 you bought it has lost from the 55 it closed [music] on Friday to 4950 it may drop another 10% meaning it will drop to around 47 at the end of trading tomorrow it could even drop on Wednesday but that's where the resistance will start. So if it ever touches 45 and anything less you buy more buy more it is called averaging down. Just tell me just confirm that you bought UBA for the long term. If you did buy more you buy more you have officially reduced this 53 down depending on how many more you are able to buy. Because when you buy cheaper, the system will average the higher cost plus this cheaper cost and it will automatically bring you lower than the 53. That's technique number one to save yourself. Please, if I finish this explanation, anybody who bought UBA high should learn from this video at minute 16 of the live stream. That's where the explanation is or minute 14 where I started talking from. So if you buy more at 45 and under, you have reduced your 53 initial price to something around maybe 48 49 depending on how many you buy. If you buy much more than you initially bought honestly speaking, you'll be coming bringing it as low as maybe 47 average depending on how low you also buy. So you have a chance to reduce what is looking like a big loss into a smaller loss. So that when UBA rebounds sharply from wherever it drops to, you will find it off. I'll give you instances where this thing has happened. 2024 MTN that everybody's now chasing at 800 was selling at 170 by November. I was here doing live stream and telling us the worst days of MTN are over. At that time when we got into 2025, MTN decided because of how badly they were hit by foreign exchange losses, they were not going to pay dividend. The shareholders did not die. But we saw the number started changing in the quarterly reports. And as the market began to see the changes in the number, what they did was they kept buying MTN. No dividend.
Check the records. MTN did not pay dividend for 2024 financial year in 2025. It is the 2025 recovery money that they have now decided to declare 15 naira. MTA used to pay far more than 15 naira. So every time a business suffers a hiccup it is a chance to find it cheaper. that time people were still scared of MTN but everybody who bought MTN 170 it's now it's not even up to two years just one year plus it's now we're talking about um um 800 naira plus okay so under I'm sharing a 28 year experience in this market with you that you can use to enjoy because if you sell UBA now at a loss you still come to this market a year after and see that UBA sold at a loss selling far higher. This UBA is going to be either the fifth or sixth bank Nigerian bank to touch the 100 naira bank.
How do I mean what happened is they had to provide for loan loss uh that's NPL non-performing loans or loan loss provisions. Then they also suffered from the foreign exchange market that they enjoyed from before. If you notice when the the naira was devalued badly, most banks made foreign exchange gains because they held some of their money in dollars.
So that extent of gain did not happen again because the naira in 2025 was more of stable between 105 and 104 or 103. So they couldn't record the same foreign exchange gains again.
Okay. So put all of that together is what has brought us where we are now.
That's for UBA, right? It happened with First Bank. It has also happened with a stock like um um UAC. Someone shared with us I think was it Lily once interiors or so UAC was was was castigated. They made four naira per share uh earnings per share but paid only 60 kbo. [laughter] That 60 kbo led to condemnation. The stock price dropped from 38 to 26. And I said the fact that Retained earnings is a good sign of robustness and ability to buy up other businesses. And what do we have now? That same US one year after is selling for 130 naira or so right now.
Okay. So in the midst of crisis, if you can identify an opportunity, you of all men are most fortunate and you can easily make money, right?
Now UBA actually grew their shareholders fund. Their balance sheet also is cleaned up. That is the major concern that should be yours as an investor.
As an investor, return on equity is looking reasonable, especially with a clean balance sheet going forward.
That's what you should be looking at.
Okay? earnings per share is 9 naira and they did not pay anything meaning they have retained 9 naira going forward you see that so they want to become stronger than they were that's it by the way for first bank and UBA that wrote off non-performing loans it does not mean they've lost the money they will go after those creditors and anyone they recover will will back to their earnings going forward.
That aside, book value of UBA 103 naira per share book value. What that means is if they collapse the company, sell off everything, pay their debts, the net assets distributed to all shareholders will amount to 109 naira per share. Meaning the UBA could easily sell for 100 naira but it is selling for 50 40 something NRA now. So going forward, these are the positives. Just as I've explained negatives, it's up to us now to decide what do you want to do. I don't want to go back to UBA back and forth. I've given a clean, clear explanation. You know, it took me time to respond on the discord group because I needed to study it at the time when everybody is surprised and angry and everything. You may not look well. So I use the weekend to check very well and this is what I've come up with. All right. Okay ladies and gents I think we can progress from here.
Good afternoon coach. Is 23 a good price to take position in tip and lo or lolo? Actually most of these stocks when they start running like this you begin to wonder where we were cuz it was at 19 and then 20 then 21 then pulled back. Honestly speaking, I really cannot tell immediately whether 23 is good or not. But what I know is I want to go now and check what the um I would say what the what you call now um 52 weeks high is. If we can confirm what the 52 weeks high is, we can be able to tell whether or not it's at a reasonable price because that's the only other to fall back to two. Try to see that you are not over paying for a stock and honestly it did 23 naira last Friday which was the 52 weeks high. Now tip is at 25 naira meaning a new 52 weeks high has been established.
Even though there's a bid at 24 I mean an offer at 24 naira tip is quietly and nicodemously climbing 25 naira now. So I would say 23 not bad but do not chase any flying stock. It's just that this one sometimes when it flies it disappears. That's the truth about this one. So you want to pay attention and be sure what you are really doing. Okay.
23. Not bad but keep a good eye before you venture in. That'll be my take.
Hello coach. I'm new in stock market and here now who do I call in? It's not your time for calling. Only you can be new.
This could be your first day.

Lakeside says coach I have I have limited funds 1,000 units of beta glass or 2,000 units of WCO and the best price please. Lakeside um that's a very difficult question but let's see how it goes. WCO is flying now. it means that there's a chance it could pull back. It is very shy of touching that um one I mean 300 naira range. I've seen it do 299 and pull back. And now I'm seeing um offers a few offers at 292 meaning it's about to pull back instead of WCO. If you really needed WCO you will have to wait and not go in now. Otherwise, you go on go in for beta glass. And I'm also seeing beta glass now attempting to touch 500. Some a few people have bought beta glass at 500. And some others are still sticking by and um struggling to buy at under 500. But currently, the last person bought at 500, they bought 1,000 shares. I think the best price to go for beta glass is 497. Even if you can see at 498, there is an offer at 498 and so on.
Okay.
All right.
Hi, coach. Is the FGN 10ear bond offers now on for sale? Actually, supposed to open today. So, you may want to check uh www.dmmo.gov.ng.
That's the depth management offices website to confirm. I personally have already contacted my broker to keep me in the know immediately they get the the offers available because they have to receive the offers in the in the form of application forms before it's issued.
Someone u messaged me during the weekend and said their stock broker sent them um sent him um an update of the the the bond offer and stated that they all 17 something% including the 10-year bonds and I didn't believe that even though I saw what they sent to him because the offer is not yet out. What we are expecting is that the 10ear bond will be 22.6%.
If it changes, we will now know. But for the five and sevenyear bonds, they are at 17 something% each of them. The 7-year bond is slightly more in the fraction, but all 17 something%. Hello coach, please. I have 3,850 UBA and 10,000 tape. I don't know what to do. I have 150K to put. Um, Olua Feromi, what you should do is wait and put that money in UBA. Wait for UBA to dip. Today it has dipped from 55 to 4950. Tomorrow, some of you now will need to pray for it to dip another 10% to around 47 or something like that by Wednesday. If it ever dips further, take your first entry there. So, you average down on your UBA.
Now the question is how much was your UBA? If your UBA by Wednesday the price touches your initial entry price for your UBA that you already have then I think you should buy more UBA. Otherwise for tip you have to wait to see if you can get in and get more at 20 naira per share but not at the 23 and 25 I'm looking at because these things have the tendency of pulling back just when it jumps up. That's why I always advise do not chase after a moving train. I've been talking Beta Glass here over and over and over and over again and it stayed at 490 450 for so long but beta glass might just um want to start moving. The question will now be when they start asking oh is bet still good to enter at 600 it will now be like where were you when it was at 400?
Because as I'm talking now, they are testing the waters for beta glass.
Somebody is buying 40 pieces of beta glass at 515 naira already. So we will need to see much more beads than offers uh before we know whether or not betas can um cross the 500 naira mark soon.
But that is one stock that is already warming up. Hi coach MTN or beta glass which do you suggest I go for in a in a I think um beta glass is still more like at a bus stop level where you can get in uh without any fear of dropping which stock can one use as it defense as Uba don't fall hand Fredo um MTN Dangote cement is just that those two stocks have already run but MTN still holds long-term value You can also try um stocks like UACN, Vitalform, Uni Lever. But these three, anybody who wants to buy these three, they just jumped last week to where they are. So there's a likely pullback from which you should enter. So don't run into them now. Wait for a pullback.
UB I mean UAC climbed to 130 something.
it should pull backwards below 120 then it will look attractive for uni liver it touched 133 um you want to wait to see how it pulls back under 120 as well for vital form it climbed to 140 you want to wait to see how it drops at least under 130 or even under 125 and 120 then you take a position I want us to understand one thing about the stock that you have 1 million naira now does not mean you must spend it now.
You've got to check how the stock price has done recently to determine whether you should buy now. But you know because of our money habits when we get the money even in stocks we want to rush and go and spend. Sometimes it doesn't work that way. If it's a clearly general bullish market, it's obvious that you can buy quickly and the money will still grow immediately. But a lot of times tact is needed when you get into the stock market and when you get out. And this is where I want to commend one of us on the Discord group. He's always always working on um technical analysis and there's a page for technical analysis and I went there yesterday and saw all his works. I'll try to remember his name the next time we'll be talking here. He's dedicatedly doing that. So you need a little bit of this technicals to know whether it is safe to enter a stock or not or to just hold on a bit.
But sometimes for those of us who invest longterm, it may not matter. As long as you can bear with seeing your stock deep a while before you get before it comes back up after you have bought um anyone investing long-term, you may not need those little little details of oh am I overpaying by any fraction or not. Okay, because a lot of times also while you are doing that the stock leaves you and waves you goodbye and it becomes too difficult to buy while you are hoping for a pullback. All of these things happen. So if you are one who does not ever want to miss a stock then yes thank you very much. His name is Sam. Mr. Sam, wherever you are we are recognizing you right now. You are doing amazing. I want to be able to to to see your works and let more people benefit from it and we celebrate you and position you where much more people can actually benefit from what you do. Sam and Blaze, I've always talked about Blaze. So many people don't know that Blaze is actually a Bulgarian. He's a European. It's not a Nigerian. But we have that's the thing with God and the mind. of the same that flocking together don't know color, don't know race, don't know gender.
That's exactly what we are. We want everyone to grow. You see good thing, you get attracted to it, you put your own quotota so that humanity will continue to grow. We had an amazing meeting last week. I mean yesterday the central um admin leadership of this club and we are planning something fantastic for you. Never mind you'll get more details about that. Let's go on to more of your comments. Which stock can one use as his defense? So I've mentioned some of those um stocks. Don't forget PZ. Don't forget Tango T Sugar. Though that's not yet a defensive stock yet.
They're still finding trying to find their feet. But let's not forget the old war horses that are still giving value like NCO and um NASCON. All right. Then of course custodian is developing itself to become a very defensive stock these days. Right. Before we now talk about the banks, I didn't mention the banks because most of them have really really racised away. Arendelle is one major defensive stock that you don't want to miss in your portfolio too. All right.
Please between Presco beta glass and dangment for 10 million which which one is that which one or which two Joo Oscar are you looking for two if you're looking for two and I'm going to mention only based on price action sometimes sometimes the fundamentals might be better for one but because of how far it has gone that is the reason why I don't recommend and Seplat ahead of Aradel.
Sirlat is the bigger one is the boss in the oil industry on NGX. No dispute.
Seplat has greater numbers. But you see how quickly can surplus double your money. That's another consideration. So I would rather you do Rad which can easily double to 2,000 3,000 than a Seat and start waiting for it to double. But as far as value creation and of course um strength is concerned it's seat.
Okay. So on that note from your list of um prescasment uh these are fantastic companies in the agric and industrial sector.
Beta glass looks much more attractive to me. First, it is the cheapest and yet it has great great potentials. I want I I kid you not. 55 naira earnings per share. That's what Beta Glass has. And now that they are trying to become more efficient to make much more money and retain it as profit, um we don't know what they become by this time next year.
So, beta glass for me. If you're choosing one and then if you are picking two, I would go with um Peter Glass and Dangote Cement.
Dangote cement is not is not is not an an 800 or 900 naira stock.
What that company is doing now look at Bua Cement. By the way, ladies and gentlemen, BUA has printed some numbers that must not be ignored. The almighty 31 or so um PE ratio has crushed has been crushed to around 16.
Clean clear based on their first quarter result. You know after the first quarter we want to look at the second quarter to see how they sustain the first quarter performance. But based on first quarter performance, suddenly their P ratio has crashed to around 16 from 30 something that made it more expensive than Dangote cement. So a whole lot of changes and that's why we are unbiased here. We're the first to start buying BA cement 70 something and 90 something. So when it looks overpriced, we leave it first.
Then we go back to numbers and see that things have changed. Why not? All they need to do is to double up and follow up with better dividend payout so they can compete very well with others.
Okay.
All right. Hello coach. What do you think about Aradel's current price? I'm thinking of buying substantially, but I would like to know if Ardell is likely to experience a pullback soon. Francis Basi Amana, I do not see Ardell pulling back for no reason, no just cause. In fact, what will happen to Ara is another rise once they publish their full year result and first quarter result because their assets have ballooned to the sky from where they were as far as last year is concerned because two major assets have been added to that company and you just watch and see what I have just said about coach. What's the best price to buy UBA? Hola pensaw don't buy UBA today. Take it from me tomorrow it will dip another 10%. At that point it's 47 by Wednesday first dip to around 45 and less. That's when to stop buying. Okay.
I'm strongly with UBA for the long term.
Uncle OJ Uncle OJ I decided not to sell my UBA. I have now let me tell you and this is a clear truthful disclosure.
My by the close of trading on Friday, my my profit on UB is 670 something%.
I am 67 something% up in profit.
I should be the first person to go and sell off everything and move out in the name of take profit and everything. But I've gone through these processes before.
I bought UB 7 NRA 7 NR five co or so per share that's the price I still have it and then I saw it climb to 9 naira and then to 12 naira and then to 16 and came back down to 9 naira we've gone through this roller coaster and it is that roller coaster journey that has brought us this far I am I have checked everything over the I'm not about to miss the roller coaster from wherever it is now to the 100 naira range that it will surely get to.
So I decided not to sell 67 something% in profit not selling. These are not what I will disclose in my video but that's where we are today frankly speaking. Um the Atlas lady follows our session here. She can personally go and check if she has access to my account and she will see it there. So no lies detected.
Openly talking to you now. I am I should be the one selling whenever it falls.
Even if it falls to 13 naira, I sell.
I'm on very good profit. But I'm not selling.
We we we like they say we die here together. We will not die here. We will be in this thing together. You see that thing Tony and everybody. We will we own we follow own the company. So we're not running away because um my highest number of shares is in UBA and Zenit in terms of quantity in the banking sector.
Okay. So I'm not about to lose that now.
Now I'm eyeing fidelity. Let the results come out. Let them provide for forbearance. Let everything collapse and let's go in check in properly because every bank must clean up their books.
And this CBN must be commended for this.
They've done a thorough job. You know why they first made sure that banks did capital raise. The sequence is clear to see that the CBN tried to make sure that everybody is safe through the sequences.
After recapitalization comes forbearance removal. So that forbearance regime is over. Everybody pay for non-performing loans.
Okay. So we are going to be seeing a cleaner healthier banking space and then they can now start making their money and giving back to shareholders. So let the stock prices drop. I don't have fidelity up till now again. I want to get more from now.
Okay. Hello coach. Please talk about Vetiva Grief 30 ETF. Vertiva Grief. I normally do not monitor ETFs that much.
So I will just go straight there now and try to see what's going on. Bument is getting 10 naira today.
So it's up to 345 naira. Let's see what's going on with Vetiva Grief as requested by Shasha Clinic.
Vetiva grief. It's looking like system is slow to respond to me right now. So, uh we could just Okay. Uh it's here now. ETFs. Vetiva.
Some time ago, I tried to execute um an a research on ETFs and to look for the best possible ones to buy based on their net asset value. Unfortunately, I couldn't lay hands on most of the data I needed. So, I gave up. So, the only way I try to check to see that you are not overpaying for any ETFs is to check their um um they are 52 weeks high and low against the current price. So, at least you know that you're not overpaying um for a stock as far as the last 52 weeks high and low is concerned. So, Vetiva grief is currently up from 191 COBO per unit to 97 N98 COBO. So, it's getting it's getting 7 N 97 cobble so far. And the 52 weeks high is 127 co 52 weeks low is 36 naira 18 co. 52 weeks is the last one year how low it has traded for 36 and then the highest it has traded for the last one year 127. So it's currently 97 naira meaning just about 30 naira um less or is it 40 naira yes 30 naira less than it traded the highest in the last one year. So that guides you to at least have an idea that you are not overpaid. That's the much I can say. Top of the day to you, coach. That's coming from Mobi. Maui, we're glad to have you. Thank you very much.
Shi says, "We live here together." Yes.
So brother, we live here together. We're not abandoning ship for Tony. Okay. Um they are all suffering the heat because they have millions of Uba shares. They also not going to get the dividend. Left to them alone. They would have wanted the dividend. of course more cash flow and then everything but CBN is the one that insisted imagine they made earnings per share of Naira they're not paying nothing so we bank that Naira and it it adds to shareholders funds okay because it's it's going to be in retained earnings coach what's your take on WCO WCO excellent but I foresee a pullback um it's attempting and knocking on the door of 300 but it just couldn't to um say okay the pullback is already on even though it traded at 299 and these are the reasons why I say don't chase any stock relax use my experience borrow from my experience don't make the mistakes that I have ever made so don't chase any stock WCO may be a 500 naira stock but it will take time and it has a steady pattern of shooting up coming back down staying a bit before shooting again So it touched 299. Some people bought at 299 but now it's at 294.
Okay. So stay patient. Wait, let it pull back further maybe to around 270 and below. Then see if it stays long enough.
If it does, it has established a new support level. You can now enter and wait for whenever it finally jumps above 300 because as keeps climbing as tango cement keeps climbing the W will follow but not after the pull back from the nearly 300 it just got to I have 1 million fidelity at 1565 average success mindset you are safe I don't think fidelity will even um come that low anymore no matter what happens meanwhile I want to congratulate one of us who bought I remember him asking me about that he bought 18 naira and he wanted to do 1 million shares. People of God, I can't remember his name, but some of you are aware of that person. He asked that question on in on our discord group.
Guess what? The 1 million shares of Weber Bank he bought in December at 18 naira meaning 18 million is now selling for 34 naira per share. He has just grown 18 million naira to 34 million naira by just living and waking up and watching us pursue stocks going up and down.
So now check this is doing 34 naira Uba is coming down.
Think again 1 trillion naira profit after tax or 1 trillion naira profit is waiting to be achieved going forward.
the bank that they want to sell down to 40 something. We is at 34. We cannot be compared to UBA. But you know the game, we know the game. We will play it alongside. The only difficulty I have is my enterprise is 7 N.
So if I go and pack more UBA when it drops to maybe 35, if it ever drops below 40, then that will push my average entry to something else.
So ladies and gentlemen, stay calm.
Let's play this game with knowledge and let social media do the confusion and the distractions. Okay, fidelity full off and no bid as we speak. That means the result is about to be out and they will also suffer this forbearance issues that UBA has suffered. The thing is the market may even overreact to UBA more than they did to First Bank. first bank growth of 748 billion.
But you know what? Now this is the difference between Tony Alumelu and Feedola. Feedola boldly came out and made a post in all the social media platforms that we needed to make this painful decision that the clean up is complete and all of that.
He made that. So he was even with in his p on his personal page trying to explain the hard decisions that they made.
UBA just went and posted it nicodemously on Friday so that the market will not be able to have space to react.
[laughter] We understand all these things. The best thing UBA should have done is make a call conference conference call and book for shareholders to attend and explain break it down the way I did it in the video I just posted before coming on. I hardly posted that video before the market will open so that it doesn't look like we planned it. Okay, so that's it. But going forward, these banks are now going to eventually start selling for 100 naira.
Honestly, I've said it here. Um might be the sixth or seventh Nigerian bank to sell at 100 naira. Let's go. Um first was Stanic. Next was GT, then Zenit. Now um ETI, Echo Bank and First Bank are chasing the 100 NRA mark. So very soon UBA might just follow but not after all this tension disappears.
Hello coach, I have 10 million NRA. How can I spread? All I have is Zenit 100k units in my portfolio. 10 million naira.
This is the time to buy those stocks that are not moving. So with your 10 million comfortably buy Arendel Peter Glass then um all the others have moved you want to wait for a little bit of pullback here and there but if you put the money in those two you are safe perfectly no issues.
Okay, Akudoid says but has UBA exited forbearance has it taken care of all provisions for NPL it's not clear from the results what about decline in operating cash flow this has nothing to do with regulation I think there is a whole lot of questions and this is why we needed the bank itself whoever is in the PR department of the bank I don't think they advising properly You need to interface with your shareholders to get their support but most importantly to put it clear not that you have lobby give open their eyes to details not everybody has time to go and read financial statement if you just come and say we're not paying final dividend you have caused confusion so unless the confusion is deliberate to shake off weak hands who may not be strong enough emotionally to to see beyond the present you you know, so a lot to to disclose that may not have been um explained. Hi coach, is Nako a good price at current price? Ababio Nako, we saw Nako flying to 200 N the other time. Let's see how much it is now. Um 240.
That's one thing with NA. When it moves, it doesn't come back easily.
Um, it may just pull back down. You need to wait cuz it's very close to where it rose to 242 naira is the highest it went to and it's now pulled back to 240. And that 242 was on Friday it closed. So, a pullback is imminent. It may pull back maybe to 220 or thereabouts. That's when you can think of buying. And of course, it has to be a long-term buy. Okay. We haven't heard from our Facebook followers and participants. So, let's go on to Facebook. Ask Fukui, how do I get my CSS number, please? Um, Olu Fuk, do you have um a stock broker?
That's how you can get your CSCS number.
Unless you don't have a stock broker at all, then I advise that you get one. in order to get your CSS number. I need a link on Network Investors Club. Stanley Black, send me a DM on Instagram. If not, um maybe they'll respond to your question later on after this live stream. I need a link. Okay.
Ozunuj Anthony aka good afternoon sir.
This is my first time. Anthony, we're glad to have you. Francis Bassi say, "Hello, coach. What do you think about Aradel's current price? I'm thinking of buying substantially, but I would like to know if Ardell is likely to experience a pullback. I do not see any major pullback in Arabel. It's actually been slowed down and just breathing there. The next time it will jump again, it should be approaching 1,900 and then maybe difficult to buy. So, um it stayed there long enough. We are now getting close to when they will release their full year result and half year result which will see to it jumping all the way. Okay.
J Newton Creative says, "Coach, what do you think about Access Bank shares?"
Well, Access Bank has been one of the most disappointing in terms of dividends amongst the top tier banks and we were looking forward to the GMD matching his awards with actions. But the way CBN is insisting on provision for um bad loans and all that, it may also affect access bank. I'm sorry to say and that will be something else. Now let's look at what's really going on even with access at the moment because it looks like the sting on UBA is already rubbing off on the others who have not released their results and UBA perhaps has boldly come out to report and now we are seeing um Fidelity is down full offer 40 million shares offered versus zero bids listen it's time for us to sharpen our courtesies and just wait to see a lot of times what panic does is create unnecessary irrationality. And if the market decides to be rational and I find fidelity under 19 cuz now it has dropped to 20 it is it is possible it could drop to 18 tomorrow. If it ever does that just don't put short-term funds that's all because you see where is going Fidelity has the capacity and capability to do that.
They they even have an international license. They should play with this fidelity for me and then let me hop in in a way I have never hopped into a bank stock. Please help us lower fidelity.
Bring it down to 18 and below and see wonders. Okay. For UBA, uh well, it's still where we're still where we are. Anyways, 4.3 million shares have been traded.
people have put in 215 million inside the same UBA and the bids I mean the offers are still about 92 million shares so the offers reduced from over 93 something million shares to 92.7 now so people are still buying the global icon says I bought WCO at 44 NRA 3 years ago this WCO story if I share with you you will laugh I used to have WCO I bought that time at how much again? 12 naira or so 12 naira. So um in fact let's just forget about that and just move on to more comments. We go on to YouTube coach please talk about elix.
Oh that one that comment was not complete before it flew away. That's the problem with YouTube just flies away before you lay your eyes on it. Okay he mentioned la.
Let's go and see what's going on with LAX. I've said a lot about LA. Lix needs to settle down and work on um the business that they've acquired as at last year and then we'll see what happens. Bed Paint is still flying. I shared something about Bed Paint last week and now we are seeing a few things going on with that particular stock.
Okay, Lakes here we come. $1150 coal x actually closed last week at 11:25 currently 1150 but there are more offers than beats as I told you ladies and gents wo is down again losing another one naira is now 293 so the pull back for wo is on wait to see how low it pulls back and settles before anyone still interested in wo can take a position says coach please when will tip public offer be allocated Um the allotment has not been announced.
The last information we heard directly from tip was that they are awaiting approval of the extra um admitted um offers. So the offer was overs subscribed. Tip offer men tip really really loves their shareholders.
The stock was selling for 19 naira or was it 15 or 17? Yes, maybe 15 naira or so.
12 15 naira. They were offering public offer at 7 naira and offering rights issue at 950 or so. That is how it should be. Encourage the investors to put in money. So automatic gains for anybody who invested in tip.
Imagine public offer 950. It is now doing 23 naira and 25 naira.
Then right issue for existing shareholder 7 naira. What you bought for 7 naira is selling for 23 naira. Now is it possible for two brokers to create CSS account? Yes, it's possible. Ichuku very possible. Ladies and gentlemen, it's already 1:00 p.m.
So we'll be going to take your calls but not before we take some more comments.
Um Sario says, "Hello, coach. Good afternoon. Any insight into what caused a rally on Union Don? No insight whatsoever.
No insight. Finances zero.
No insight whatsoever. Nothing. In fact, majority shareholder of Union Don, they can't find them. They are still looking for who is the majority shareholder, but the stock price is jumping. So, be careful with what you buy. Coach, please. What's your take on Ziches?
Blessing Toi. I hear that the numbers for ditches are looking fantastic especially the first quarter results um because of the attitude of and the way the stock was listed and um the conduct of the owners um I just am not very comfortable with investing in such a company honestly that's my individual opinion and please everyone listen the views expressed in this live stream are entirely mine they personal so not to be construed as investment advice just do your due diligence as you hear good afternoon sir I'm new here how do I get a stock broker and also get CSCs simple send me a DM if you want I'll forward the link to you to open with a broker or you could decide to do a Google search or go on the NGX website www ngxgroup.com and check for the list of stock brokers to determine which broker you will prefer to work with. Sari Supergirl says, "Good morning, coach. Please, what's the news on Union Don causing it to rally?" No news to the best of my knowledge.
Um, let's let's even take a look at Union Don sold. Where is the rally indeed? Um currently Union Don is losing 19 N75 Cobbo. It is down from the 219 Cobbo full offer suddenly to because both two people have now mentioned Union Don that is rallying. I don't see any rally here. So the problem you will have with those your apps is that you will be thinking it's at 21 and I'm looking at the average price now 2144. It closed at 2190. Your app is showing you 21.90 and you'll be bidding 2190 for those who are interested. Let's assume it's a very serious stock you are chasing. It is on full offer now. No bid. Nobody's buying 1.3 million offers.
Yet your app will be showing you 21.9 that it has lost full 10% on. And then you go and put in 21.9 because they've sold 77,000 shares and the average selling price is 21.44. whereas they should have bought at $1975.
That's the problem with these apps. But you see, when you are in a community like this, you can be able to be a part of this and ask for current prices so you don't miss it.
Wherever you are, keep liking, keep sharing this live stream. You may just be saving a soul. Okay, GTCO is losing three naira right now down to 131 naira per share. All right, ladies and gentlemen, it's time to take your calls.
So, we proceed and I'll be taking randomly um as many as I can pick. If you hear, if you have been picked, just go ahead and make a mention your name where you are streaming from as we proceed. Hello, good afternoon.
your name and where you're streaming from.
>> This is Shedra from Lagos.
>> Shedra from Lagos. Thank you for joining. Go ahead.
>> Could you already answer one of my questions?
>> Great.
>> I was going to you already.
My second question is um right now my portfolio I have eight stocks with a value of 12 million 12.2 million so I wanted to ask do you think that is over diversified?
I don't think um what I think you can do is just uh double up with fresh funds on most of the strong names you already have.
>> Yes, sir. Thank you, sir. Thank you, sir.
>> Thank you for keeping it brief.
A lot of times there is still growth in those stocks. Those eight stocks valued at 12 million in the next one year can suddenly become 18 million.
Still eight stocks from 12 million.
Okay. All right.
Let's see how many much more comments we can take.
>> Hello, good afternoon.
>> Hello. Good afternoon.
>> Your name and where you're streaming from?
We don't want all these noises. If you are in a noisy place, there's no need calling in. Just stay away and um keep the noise low. Then we can talk.
Hello. Good afternoon.
>> Hello, coach. Good afternoon. Tell us your name and where you're streaming from.
>> My name is calling from the United Kingdom.
>> I'm Maka from the UK. We are glad to have you.
>> Thank you, coach. And coach, please, I want to know your take on Champions Group. I bought it from the January IPO and since then the stock hasn't been doing well. So, I'm thinking of dumping it. I don't know.
>> Wow.
How much did you buy Champion breweries in January?
>> Uh 16 naira.
>> And now Champion is at 14.
>> Yes.
>> First of all, dilution has happened. If you are anybody that does public offer, a lot of times you need to give them time because what they have done is to raise money from you and all other shareholders, give you new stocks in place of that and now take that money they have raised to try to expand the business.
and so many other holders of Champion Breweries who bought earlier because that Champion Breweries a year ago within a space of a year ago it was selling at 4 NRA those people excuse me who bought at 4 naira 25 co that's 52 weeks low are happy to sell at 14 and even 10 naira they can even sell at 9 so when those people sell the lower the price.
And the problem with this is the per share metric is also going to be negatively affected because they have created more shares in exchange for your money.
So where they used to get maybe one n per share earnings per share it can based on the the ratio of new shares released one n per share earnings can just suddenly reduce to 70 k per share earnings investors who look at the reports will be thinking what happened this and that dropped not knowing an offer was done from where money was taken to expand the business. So more time will now be needed for that money they have deployed into the business to create more value that will now raise the per share metrics up again because after every dilution comes a reduction in the per share matrix. So you are left with either selling at a loss or staying the long course.
But that will be also based on your trusting the management to properly utilize the money raised for the purpose.
Is it clear enough now?
>> That's the situation with champion.
Thank you.
>> Thank you.
First whole code is on full offer. No bead. Interesting. The UBA um malaria is catching up with all of them.
And then let's just wait to see how Okay, there's 4,000 beats now, but it's at the very low 6750 for first bank. Now again, this brings me back to chasing a moving train. Can you see that some people went and bought first bank at 79 and 18 naira because it touched 79 85 co that same bank that somebody bought 79 naira is now at 17 naira and somebody is even pricing 67 please everybody who follows me you should have no business chasing a moving train I've been singing it like a song Stop, stop being a victim.
And then for those who are using apps, you'll be seeing 75 naira not knowing it is selling at 70 naira.
So please when you see a stock running for me, that's how I walk. I go away. I look elsewhere until that stock is now available at my own junction.
That's why at this time. It's not the stocks everybody's pursuing and pursuing.
Okay.
All right. Coach, please take a look at African credential. GGMU.
Okay. I'll take a look at African credential, but let me start also picking calls. Afric is down to 13 naira 50 kbo. Um, I knew all along that this one was not done recovering from that two for one, I mean one for one bonus they declared last year. They are not done yet.
So that's the situation. 2.6 million beats, 2.5 million offers.
Hello.
>> Hello.
>> Hello. Good afternoon.
>> Your name and where you're streaming from. Good afternoon.
from Germany.
>> Mr. Monday from Germany, thank you for calling in. Go ahead.
>> I would like to know this your take on this cuz I have so I want to do >> patiently wait till Wednesday and let's see how much it sells between Wednesday and Friday. If you see it under 19, under 18 again.
>> Thank you.
>> Thank you very much.
>> Hello.
Someone there next.
Danny, are you there?
Hello. Good afternoon.
>> Hello, sir.
>> Good afternoon.
>> Good afternoon. Your name and where you're streaming from?
>> I'm from Ben. I'm calling from the UK.
>> Ben from the UK. Please proceed.
>> I don't know. I know you say you always say never to buy stuff that is flying, you know, but I I was wondering if I've done the wrong thing. I bought some today only because the Q1 result might be out this week and I was thinking if the result was good like we might not see this price you know we might not be able to buy it at 290 because I bought some today at 292 you know I don't know you know I know I know I should listen to you because I always do but this time around I just I just worry that in case you know in case he flies when the result is today as I think the meeting is on Thursday and if his result is good as you know we might not see it again at 300.
>> Um don't panic.
It's still at 294 at the moment.
>> Yeah it is. Yeah.
>> You actually didn't chase a moving train. Really? You only anticipated a result that has not been announced.
That's not chasing a moving train.
That's you strategically positioning in anticipation of a good outing post result release. A moving train is the one everybody now wants to chase maybe cement after the result is out and all that. So it's different and be comfortable with the reality that it's not every time you buy a stock it will just immediately you enter it starts taking you up.
>> Yes. So just relax and watch this WCO climb above 300.
Number one assurance. It's a fantastic company.
It has no business under 300 when Bua is jumping. Though Bua has proven why it should jump, you are investing long-term.
The value creation is there. So nothing to fear.
Thank you, sir.
>> Thank you.
>> Thank you, sir.
>> All right. Thank you.
>> Thank you very much. Thank >> Thank you.
Okay. Next set of callers.
Minty Cinti.
If it is not a mistaken call, let's talk.
Anyone that connects, we go ahead.
>> Hello. Good afternoon.
>> Good afternoon, coach.
>> Tell us your name and where you're streaming from.
>> We didn't get you. Can you hear me?
I can hear you now. Your name and where you're streaming from.
>> Okay, we can connect. We go on to the next caller.
Gold. Hello. Good afternoon.
Loud and clear. your name and where you're streaming from.
>> I'm from Lagos.
>> Visa from Lagos. Thank you for joining.
Go ahead.
>> Yes sir. Um I bought many years ago and I called you. You told me to tell them to uh the steps you told me to do to do a Google search and everything. So I sent a message. I did my First of all, I get my dividend.
It bounced back. Whereas at now, I'm kind of stuck. I don't even know how to >> go further.
>> What do you mean by bounce back?
>> I um I was told that um my bank rejected for >> your bank.
>> Yes.
>> What did you go to your bank to do?
Not my bank. I sent a mail >> to who?
>> Then I also filled this something for >> please. Who is your stock broker?
>> I use you are confusing me now. Where did you apply for your e dividend to be paid?
Who do you email request for payment?
>> I did it online through the portal where we bring out a portal we have to fill up.
>> When was this um advice given you >> when you gave it to me? That was last year.
>> Ah you stayed action since last year until now?
>> No I've been on it since then. The message I the I sent through Stan till now they still told me they working on it. They sent it to CCS like it's taking forever.
>> What mail was sent to Stanic?
>> Global search is a different case. Um dividend is a completely different case as well.
>> Yes. So they can be as slow as whatever.
Um I thought that you would have used Atlas to make it faster. In any case, your e dividend that you are requesting for should be sent to the registers not any bank or any stock broker.
So Google search would the registers of former back which is current >> Atlas registers.
So >> yeah Atlas rejected rejected it.
>> Who said Atlas rejected it? They sent me a mailister.
>> Can you forget about that porter? That's what I'm saying.
>> Potter that was shared last year is not functioning again.
>> All right, sir. Okay, sir.
>> Do banker's confirmation of your signature. Go to your bank, get tell the customer care person there, you need banker's confirmation of your signature.
If you still have the e-mandate form, EW mandate form, complete it. Then email these two documents to the registers.
In the email, you are requesting for the payment of your unclaimed dividends and also your payoff because flower meals which acquired back co has been delisted from the stock exchange. So you are requesting for your payoff. They paid off FL mean shareholders about 80 something naira per share and got the company delisted. So you are requesting for your unclaimed dividends and your payoff for being a shareholder of flower means having held back for several years before now. This is what you should do.
Make sure you put stand in copy because registers are weary of individuals just coming to request for unclaimed dividends. But when they see that you put your broker in copy, they are more relaxed and confident that that's not a a scammer because the the the brokers must have verified you and they can also call the brokers to confirm that you are a real customer. That's what to do now.
You waste another time, maybe they change the method again.
Thank you very much.
She's so relaxed not knowing there are so many people on the queue. I'm just hearing then after I put it off. I'm sorry about that. Can you just write that on on the comments and get a response as we try to take more callers?
Hello. Good afternoon.
>> Hello. Good afternoon, coach.
>> Good afternoon. Your name and where you're streaming from?
Kito from the UK.
>> Kito from the UK.
>> Thank you for joining. Please proceed.
>> Yeah, so um I saw the news by the weekend and I watched your video and your recommendation. So I was sell this morning. I sold at 68. I sold at uh the current price is 50 48 >> 48. Okay.
>> Um so I want to know that 50 is it 50 or 51? I can't remember. Or I just want to know like >> the important thing is that you have jumped out. Mhm.
>> Yes, I've jumped out. Yes. So like what's the good for re-entry.
>> Good price for re-entry will be around 40 anything around 45 and below. That is if they allow it to fall that low.
>> Yeah. So, um they had their news they had their news on today.
>> What were they saying?
>> They were just explaining different things about why they >> nonsense. You are supposed to do that before you publicize it again.
>> Fe was bold.
>> Yeah. And that's why like I also took position first when he boldly explained what happened before it happened. So it shows that I like leadership and that's why I took position. So since I sold up my UBA, I was looking if I should take an entry into first bank if it drops to the maybe 65 range or maybe 60 range. I don't know. That's a good entry.
>> I already I'm looking for a price because this right now I think maybe >> um may not be as simple as that. One month to recover may not be as simple as that. In any case, um ideal price anything around 60. But that's if first bank will ever drop that low. But you see you see this game, anything can happen.
Exactly. So I'm not selling the best and I'm keeping the funds to go into the fund to go into a way lower price might not get there.
>> Yeah. At the moment nobody can tell you are dealing with the emotions of human beings that can also be very fal as long as nothing un toward is going to happen with regards first bank's first quarter result may not drop below 60.
>> Yeah and knowing that is one of the exchanges listed to sell refinary shares.
So that's why I'm holding it strong and I want to keep it. It's the entry price.
Now that's my problem.
>> Why are you having problems? If you are investing longterm, you wait anywhere it bottoms out. Just keep your eyes on the price action.
>> If it ever goes below 60, then good for you. But if you keep watching and watching it stays above 60 um then you know that it's not going below that you buy because the next thing is could jump again.
>> Thank you very much.
>> All right. Thank you.
>> Bernard Mr. Bernard is discussing work.
>> Hello. Good afternoon. Please speak up.
Remove anything you are using as an additional uh device. Let's hear you clearly, sir.
>> Thank you very much, sir. Can you hear me now?
>> Loud and clear. Your name and where you're streaming from.
>> My name is Adami. I'm currently calling from UK.
>> Adamu from Baoi, but calling from the UK. He doesn't want to lose his identity. Go ahead. We are glad to have you.
>> Thank you very much. We are out of words to express how thankful we are for all you do for us. Thank you very much. Um my question is I was surprised with 5 million and I want to surprise my wife too.
>> I'm focusing on stocks.
>> Wow. Awesome.
>> Hal target.
You are a good man. Oh my god. What a man.
>> Thank you sir. I learn from the best.
I'm following the best online YouTube channel.
>> Oh my god. Oh my god. Ladies, can you see a good man? Uh, all right. Adamu, I'm so excited to do this with you right now. Halal stocks that we can >> uh let's see halal stocks that we can happily put this money in. Aradel is one, Beta Glass is two, MTN is three.
Thank you very much sir.
>> Thank you.
>> Then the last question is the plan is to retire early and I have a stock portfolio of 10 million. Now the plan is to invest 1 million every month or more.
>> So how do how do I spread it within my uh portfolio? So, do I focus on reinvesting on blue chips or how do I >> focus on blue chips?
>> Focus on blue chips. Load up enough then you look for one or two uh value stocks which includes which includes the likes of tip.
>> Thank you very much sir.
>> Remember I'm still putting in mind you are investing halal based. So tip is is a halal stock as well but focus focus on blue chips. Thank you so much Adamu. All the best.
>> Thank you.
>> Bye-bye.
Coach, please. Do you think it is wise to go in dang cement and at what price?
Big fish. Big fish. Wait for that thing to come back to under 900. If you buy that 900, they will sell down on you because it just climbed to 900.
Yesterday it was 8.90. Today is 9:05.
Talking about dangote cement. So uh just wait for it to pull back under 900 and it's it's possible very possible.
Okay. So skincare shop says who go surprise me with stock by who will surprise skin care with stock? Surprise, surprise.
Oko says, "Good afternoon, coach.
Please, what can I top up today with 550K?" MTM 400 units. Arad 100 units arel.
Something still tells me MTN may try to come down under 800 one more time before taking another lead. But who knows, may never happen.
since MTN just climbed to 800 if you can hear me. Go for Aradel that hasn't made any serious move lately cuz that's the one that may disappear. Um and look more difficult to get into later than the MTN that is still around 800. You get the logic now. All right, go on to the next callers.
Keep the comments coming in while we wait for the callers to connect. How much can I be for tantalizers?
Are your daily Johnson? Hold on a bit. I check that for you right away. Hello.
Good afternoon.
>> Good afternoon.
>> Yes, sir. Tell us your name and where you're streaming from. and happy new year once again. My name is Chica. I'm streaming from the UK.
>> Chica from the UK. Happy New Year to you and your family. Go ahead.
>> Yeah, good. Yes, good. I I want to I want to thank you >> and appreciate every other every other participant here, the likes of Moi and others.
Coach, I yeah, something came up, but Because I keyed in because I keyed into your your admission, financial admission, I was able to sort out myself.
>> Awesome.
>> But now I'm I'm back. I'm back to start from where I stopped.
>> Good to be back.
>> So I will need your Yes. I will need your I told So I wish to ask which which Let's say five stocks. Can one venture in to now like let's say 10 million?
I think that um suggestion to Adamu um does it for me. But that's just three, right?
Um, >> you may want mention I mentioned MTN, but I'm looking at a stock like I think you should have a stock like PZ doing a serious bounce back though currently pulled back and that's my attraction to it was 92. It's down to 86. Doesn't stay long after a pullback before it jumps back up.
Okay.
>> And then um you are investing longterm, aren't you?
>> Long time. Long time. Yes.
>> Which banks do you have?
>> I've gotten [music and singing] you.
>> Okay. You don't need a bank anymore. So, next available one that could make sense is um I was going to call custodian, but custodian is just flying.
It's making me feel like it's already late. How many of us remember me saying custodian insurance is a 90 naira stock?
I've said it over and over, custodian is a 90 NRA stock. Now it's at 84.
From 80 last Friday, it's jumped to 84.
So, we are not too far from these things. like joke like joke. I said Ara was a 1,500 naira stock then it was around 70 I mean 7800 naira now it's at 16 and not looking back and I've stated again MTN is a 1,500 naira stock one year ahead from now beginning with 1,000 within this year it's at 800 now okay so I'm looking I hope you have got and off.
>> Thank you very much.
>> All right, sir.
>> Girls Turner. Girls Turner says, "Hold on, sir. Good afternoon to you at the bio. Just a moment." Girls Turner on Instagram says, "Coach, what do you think about Dangote Sugar? Very good long-term buy for me. Dangote is at that price where it may never go below that based on the progress that is trying to play out soon. I hope you got me. Girls turn up. Hello. Where are you streaming from?
>> Good afternoon sir from Ibad from Ibadong. Good afternoon. Tell us.
>> Yes sir.
Yes I was one of the people you recommended custodian for.
>> Oho. Tell us >> I got in at 18 >> much >> can't be 80 by much couldn't have been 80 by much check very well >> okay okay I will check again >> uh >> so I also got but from all this news that we are hearing >> Mhm.
>> I don't know if I should still or I should send it to buy stocks.
>> How much did you buy UBA then?
>> I got in at 45.7.
>> If you bought UB at 45.7, it's around that price to it will rather pull back to and stop. Um before you sell now, you know the door is already tight. That's where your challenge is right now. The question is, is it possible to sell and still buy it cheaper?
Big question.
On the 2nd of March, custodian was 61 naira.
61 if you bought on the 2nd, but on the 4th it got to 70.
On the 9th, oh, really? It got to 81.
truly speaking.
Okay. So, it's back up. It's now 85 or something like that. Yes. So, you are right. Must have bought during the March high.
You bought at the match high before it dipped. It's now rediscovered that price. Okay. So, I would not recommend you sell your UBA. No need because by the time it will now be possible to sell. it has come down to your entry price which is not possible again which doesn't make any sense again because you pay commission for buying you're going to pay commission for selling so just hold it and let's go through this process like I said I am over 600% in profit in UBA but I'm not selling >> all right sir thank you >> so I'm still I'm still here sir sorry sometimes in the In the early 2000, my father is late now got some shares from bank. I remember then there was no CSCS. We had to when CSS came we got CSS account for him and we were able to integrate it.
>> Beautiful. But since that time, I've not even checked on what's happening with that sh.
So I don't know if you can do about it in getting those maybe the stocks or the div.
>> Very simple. Who has his letter of administration?
letter of administration.
I think my brother has >> Did he leave a will before he passed?
>> Sir, >> did he write a will before he passed on?
>> No sir, he died.
If he died interstate then there has to be someone who goes to the high court to get letter of administration.
>> Okay.
>> Only then can you now commence the process of trying to reclaim his talks.
The letter of administration will also identify one family member if not his wife by law then the first child.
Okay sir.
>> Then they will open an account and then use both his death certificate and the letter of administration and any other document the stock broker may require for you to commence the process of taking over those assets. Thank you.
>> Thank you.
>> Oh, sorry about that. But I'm sure you were done as well. Okay. Keep the calls coming in. We are here to take your comments. Now, this is where you know who is an influencer. You know, influencer in quotes versus who is really hands on. I'm sure so many people be running away from the people they have recommended UBA to. I am here with you in the boat. Hello. Good afternoon.
>> Hi. Good afternoon.
>> Tell us your name and where you're streaming from.
>> My name is Joy. comes to from UAE.
>> UAE?
>> Yes.
>> Okay. Joy, why are you downcast? Can you tune up the enthusiasm temperature?
>> I I I don't know. Last week I set a limit on MTN.
>> Okay. I don't know what happened to my app but today the transaction got through today but the >> above your limit order >> 820 per share and the 500,000 >> at how much per share limit did you place your order?
>> 820 >> 820 >> Yes sir.
>> Has it been executed?
Yes.
>> 500,000 shares or 500,000 naira.
[laughter] >> I would have said the 500 out of the 536,000 shares, Joy alone bought 500,000. That's what has been traded today.
But I >> actually the money was like 1 million.
So I didn't like I wanted to put everything on MT but I didn't. I just sh still remaining 500,000. So I don't want to put all in. So I'm thinking of which other share I can buy with 500,000 >> buy either PZ or beta glass >> when you recommended last month but I didn't buy >> How much did you buy per share?
>> I was like it was uh Hello.
>> I don't remember how much I bought, but uh I think maybe uh 77.
>> Okay, it jumped to 92 and it's now down to 88.
>> Yes.
>> Um currently it may not close at 88. It might still go back and close at 92. We don't know if there has been 100,000 shares transaction.
So you may just need to close your eyes and buy at that 88.
>> Uh so is it okay for me to put 500 or just share?
>> Yes, there's no need to share at that point or you buy 1,000 beta glass and that takes up the whole 500.
>> Okay, sir. But the MT I'm planning to hold for a long time like 3 4 years.
>> Stay in that boat. That's a 1,500 stock.
>> Okay sir. Thank you so much.
>> Thank you.
Our sister is in the UAE but she's intelligently engaging the Nigerian market to grow her money.
Tomorrow they will see her shining and they will say lock.
Who has locked lock made rich? I can't find anyone.
All right, keep the calls coming in.
That's why we're here. Good afternoon, coach. PZ or Wik. I have 500. Homely Essentials by J PZ any day and all day. Okay, let's see how many more callers we can take in. ENA is there. Funny Rooms is there. whichever connects we go.
>> Hello. Good afternoon.
>> Good afternoon coach.
>> Your name and where you're streaming from?
>> My name is coming from the UK.
>> Thank you in proceed.
>> Coach, I am um I am on this transc waiting for it to rise above my um open.
It rises above my entry um points because I'm putting I have about 120,000 units and I wanted to just you know get above that point where I can trade it off. I need to I think I need to put that money elsewhere. So I don't know what you think about this transcope and the way it's been going down really you know over the last few few weeks.
>> Transcope like most of the stocks that we see under Tony Lu they always they are always so epileptic and they can drain the life out of someone.
Um what I will advise against is selling at a loss.
>> Why?
>> No, I'm not even there. That's >> beautiful. So you wait to escape at the slightest recovery to your enterprise and go and have your peace honestly because some things are indefensible.
Okay, they've made six naira per share EPS and all they could pay was 260.
>> Yes, two naira when you add the inter of last year. Maybe they just trying their best to do it slowly, one step at a time. Um people have time, they don't have time to waste. Exactly.
>> You know, so knowing what you know now, you can just find your way out. Whenever it decides to ball, we ball in again.
Thank you.
>> Thank you, coach. Thanks a lot.
All right.
J Ace says, "Hello, coach. Can I top up NIDF today? At what price?" Let me check quickly. Jas NF. Wow. 113 Naira, up from the 127 closed last week. So, NIDF is nicodemously rising little by little.
Um, there are beats at 129.2 2 and 129.1 and then 129. The cheapest offer is at 131.9.
Jas, you may want to slow down and check some other time.
Okay, he bought at 113. The thing is getting out of hand quietly. I've said it before that um NIDF is for the very patient folks who can buy and hold for long and then over time while you're earning dividends you could also enjoy um capital gains but it won't fly as quickly as others.
Hello, good afternoon.
[crying] Good afternoon. Your name and where you're streaming from? Baby is unhappy.
>> Yeah, sorry. My name is Chairman. I'm coming from Court.
>> Chairman from Bhar Court. We're glad to have you. Please proceed.
>> Yes, the people that on saw it at 46 45. In fact, recording it.
I did not I bought at 54 thinking it to jump higher. So now this news and I bought 50,000 shares. So I wanted to buy um or glass but I bought instead. So I don't know if I should sell it even if I load to glass.
Okay, Chama, you made the first mistake.
Don't make the second one.
Mistake number one was to formo into it when you could have bought at 46. The mistake number two you'll be making is to sell at a loss to buy these other ones. What you can do is stay there.
UBA I hope it's long-term funds you put there. It's not what you need immediately. So soon like 3 months, 6 months.
>> Yes.
>> Stay there. You have just bought a part of UBA for yourself for life. Leave it there. This UBA will climb to 709 NRA maybe within a year.
If you have fresh funds and it lowers to under 45, you should buy more. That will automatically lower your initial 54 down to maybe under 50. Do you get the logic now?
Amaka, we are sorry. Sorry, Amaka. Have some have have some water. Amaka is coughing at the background. It's not yet her at home. Just have some water. Okay.
So Chama did you get that? Now >> yes coach I did >> some dividends will be coming soon. If any of them pays in and UBA is still low 456 buy more that will lower your enterprise then you just relax.
Time will now do the rest.
>> Okay. I have another I have 150,000 shares. They had 200 15,000. I bought another 50 something,000 >> at 18 naira.
>> Awesome.
>> So now um I want to make it 500. So someone told me that after the allocation the price will like 15. So I was hoping and the price is jumping to >> Why are you getting all this advice?
scared.
>> Why? Where are you getting all this information and tips from? Is it inner circle? According to my people on discord, >> somebody just where they are now predicting that once the allotment is done, tip will collapse to 15 from the 20 something. H okay.
So what are you afraid of this time?
missing. I'm afraid of it jumping to like 2530 after the allocation. So, and then I also don't want to buy now after the allocation it will go down. I'm just looking for a way to just make up for this. I I that will take time to for me to start saying >> don't worry.
Lesson number two, when you work out your strategy, follow it to the letter.
Stick to the plan.
The people you hear from come with their own ideas that come that is completely contrary to what your own strategy was.
So they are bound to misadvise you. If your plan is to accumulate 500,000 tip in total from everything buying from the floor buying from the public offer all together stick to that plan pursue it. Tip is a value stock that has quick growth in it and over time you will not be talking about whether you bought at 23 or 25. You will just be happy with yourself when you start seeing it at 40.
The worst thing to happen now is to wait and think that it will drop to 15 only for the allotment to be done. They announce their full their first quarter result and it jumps to 30.
>> Okay. So, do you think I should go in now or do you think it will? What was the best entry price >> considering the fact it just climbed to 23 and trying to I 25 expect a little bit of pull back to around 2021 that you buy more that's all.
>> Okay.
>> Because even as you are buying at 23 now remember you bought public offer at 950 right?
>> Yes. So you may be averaging up but you are not losing much because when you add the cost of this to the 950 you bought you will see that your average entry will be around 13 or 12 depending on the volume you buy.
So you are still good instead of watching it climb to 30.
Okay.
>> Okay.
>> Thank you very much. Enjoy the rest of your day.
>> Yeah. Thank you so much.
Ladies and gents, we go on to the calls again. Benny is the next caller. I was giving a who was coughing some water.
Maybe she called in in error. Hello.
Good afternoon, sir.
>> Hello, coach. This is Benedict from calling from the UK.
>> Ben from the UK. Thank you for calling in. Go ahead.
>> Yes. First, I want to appreciate you that you have given a lot of us sense of financial direction.
>> Wow.
>> Because Because most of us that lives abroad, we we make money that you're using to settle one family problem >> or buy land and all of that that never anything. And today I can tell you that >> I have moved away from the way I used to spend money, send money to relatives that would never get it. Thank you. But today I have a clear sense of direction.
I I I make I mean I I found it online I think around November. But I can tell you And today I'll be able to invest more than 35 million.
>> Awesome.
>> And if you ask me where did I get this mon that that comes to me I don't know where I keep it.
there's one I want to find out I have 2 million and I'm thinking between custodian and glass which I should put in because from the look of things since better glass have moved I be hitting on sugar for quite some time so I'm just a little bit in the back situation between these three stops on which to put this 2 million H problem beta glass has not moved even if it started moving from 16 last year which most of us saw here to 400 and something that same last year and has now stayed on that 400 and something till now the kind of value creation they making quietly I would say They have not moved yet.
Now onto Dangote Sugar. You will need a bit of time for that one.
What that means is because they are doing a public of I mean rights issue trying to raise 500 billion naira time will be required to hit the major heights.
So between the three you have mentioned, I would rather because of the exigency of time settle for beta glass and custodian because dangote sugar will afford me time to still come back and buy it maybe under 80 instead of buying Dangote only to see beta glass jump to 700 naira.
Thank you.
>> Thank you so much. You're >> welcome.
You see what he said? Fellow Nigerians abroad, I have a program for you. I will do a short video, but you are going to pay. You're going to pay something small and I will show you how you can take full advantage of your current location wherever you are outside Nigeria. Most of you have fantastic credit score.
You're not using it. You are wasting opportunity.
I will arrange a system where you can take credit just £10,000, £10,000, $15,000 and show you where to invest them and you'll be paying something like £200 or less per month to service the loan for five or 10 years depending on the tenor. You are in an economy that is very lenient in lending.
Use it to your advantage and invest in this emerging economy that is ruthless in in borrowing. So that you use the double digit interest rate regime here to benefit while taking a facility from a singledigit interest regime over where you are. 3 to 5% maximum interest panel on whatever you borrow. That's what's going on there. I want you to come let me let's make sense out of the situation then use the sense we have made to make money for you.
I'm doing that video. It won't pass this weekend and then I I will just take only 50 people to put you through so that you can maximize your time there. You'll be amazed. Wicked money is what you can use to service alone. Meanwhile, money is working tirelessly in the Nigerian market for you.
Enough of the mistakes of those who went there and came back empty-handed. It should not happen to you. Okay.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, two minutes more.
One more caller and then we move.
Just keep your eyes on my my social media handles, Tik Tok, Instagram, modalities are being worked out. you will see practical realities so that you maximize you see the the UK system for example is organized to drain you I have seen enough I've coached enough people they drain you even when you go within African mentality of you know buy a house you do mortgage you are paying over and over and over and you are squeezed out your income 30 40% is gone on taxes before bills. So they drain the life out of you and you know it's not an environment that you can live as a retired immigrant easily without anything. So what are you doing to back yourself up? Nothing. Ah that should not happen. Shouldn't be heard. Okay. So we didn't get the last caller. Please if you are interested keep your eyes on my IG, Facebook, Instagram I mean Tik Tok handles. You will see that video on how to enroll and we'll have a fantastic session. I've done it for somebody and just saw how easy your economy releases loan. If you apply for loan based on your credit score 3 days loan is a money is in your account. Is that easy? It's not so here.
So use that regime of very lenient interest rates and enjoy the bountiful returns. Even if you just invest in like the federal government savings bond that's I mean the federal government bonds that is coming up now you use 17% to service a 5% loan and then make all the money or you grow it with speed or intensity with stocks that I will show you ladies and gentlemen I feel like I am really sent to you and that's why it's really exciting to be here to give further guidance I I'm one of those who saw UB as a good opportunity. I am responsible to tell you I've checked everything. It's a one-off event. Do not throw away your gold under social media panic. It's justified to be angry, to be upset with the system. But where are you selling it to? Who are you selling it to? They will collect, put in their pocket, and you will come back for it. Don't forget it happened to first bank holders. We sold the stock.
It It stayed at 35 for so long and then suddenly it was unavailable. It's now selling at 60 and 70. You can't make that mistake while I'm here. Thank you so very much everyone. It's been a wonderful time with you. I apologize for those whose comments and calls I could not take due to time um lapses. And now we have come to the end of today's live stream. If you want to join the network investors club, follow me on Instagram.
