This video presents an analysis of internal communications regarding Liverpool Football Club's governance, highlighting how financial concerns, leadership dynamics, and potential ownership changes are discussed among stakeholders. The content reveals that behind-the-scenes discussions about club management, including potential leadership shifts and financial challenges, often occur through professional channels like Ernst & Young, where finance teams from ownership groups (FSG) address issues such as losses and ticket pricing. The video demonstrates how insider information about organizational changes, including potential sales or leadership transitions, can emerge through professional networks and be shared with public audiences through media analysis.

"Think Hogan's running the show a bit now... he’s engaging with Alonso" | THE MAIL STANDAdded:
All right, guys. How's it going? Welcome back to the mail stand. If you've never seen the mail stand before, please watch the first mail stand video today. It will have a little introduction which explains how the mail stand works. And if you've never seen the introduction, you really need to go and watch the introduction before watching this video, okay? I just don't want to repeat it in every video, right? So, the first upload today about the mail stand explains to you how this works. Uh one of the thing I'll be live on here today at 6:30 p.m.
UK time, all right? I would come along.
We'll have a good natter.
So, I received this email last night.
Now, this is a series of emails, all right?
Um so, you might have to bear with me a little bit as I try and read them to you. And also, my laptop's playing up for some reason. It keeps uh the screen keeps turning partly off.
I don't know.
Um so, this came in last I'm going to go through the We We exchanged emails, me me and the author, all right? While we were on the live stream last night. Um so, some of you have heard some of this, but not all of it. So, the the email chain started, if you like, or the email started at uh on the 12th. Yesterday was the 12th.
Uh at um 7:34 p.m., all right?
And it says here, I don't I work at EY in London. That's Ernst & Young. FSG are one of our clients. We've had quite a few meetings recently with finance teams from FSG uh due to issues in Boston and recent fiasco with the ticket increases.
They're concerned about losses.
I'm being told from mates at home, one of them is some sort of LFC school engagement officer in the main office, that Hogan is in the main offices and they act uh more these days since the falling out between Hughes and Edwards.
Think Hogan is running the show a bit now.
Uh nobody for extension. Not quite sure what that means. Uh and he's and he's engaging with Alonso. He is engaging with Alonso, which we've heard from other people.
Uh we've also heard it from Jose Felix Diaz Diaz if you watch today's upload.
The bit I wanted to mention the falling out between Hughes and Edwards. You will remember yesterday someone else not this person emailed me about an alleged falling out between Hughes and Edwards and I said in that video remind me on the live stream tonight. I want to talk to you about that.
So on the live stream last night I did and what I said was that earlier this year I said turn of the year but then I corrected myself and said no I don't think it was January maybe you know February March or whatever.
Suggestions started coming in that there'd been an alleged fall out between Hughes and Edwards. I didn't pay much attention to it really to be honest with you because they're friends and I thought how would two friends falling out you know I know it happens but it was just a bit strange.
And someone said in the chat last night don't you mention it in March you did a video about it in March. So here we are again this is you know more suggestions of Hughes and Edwards having a disagreement maybe they're all right now or maybe there was one before I don't know. I don't know if it's true I'm reading you the emails.
I replied to the author and say hey you know thanks for the email is it okay to read this email out obviously I'll not read your name.
Yes that's fine I'm on the stream but haven't been a member for a while.
And I put can I mention this bit I work at EY in London also who is EY I didn't know who it was.
Yes you're welcome to EY Ernst & Young.
We do professional services accountancy services for international public private businesses.
Also said Welcome to mention all of the info we also do Canadas account and but I'm not on his account and can't search GDPR it says in brackets but my mate who's there is advised nothing much has changed Reese's tax status.
Um And then it says further to the extra information in the previous email, I can see someone commented this was on the on the live stream. I can see someone commented about a possible sale. So, I think someone was maybe asking do you think there might be a sale.
He says, "I have no idea to be honest, but we generally do have these meetings where clients get their ducks in a row with a view to a sale."
Been a fan for years, Dunk. I remember you predicting correctly pre-Brendan Rodgers that the next LFC manager would have to speak Spanish. Even I don't remember that.
And there was one more email after that where this gentleman said "Can you do the Mail Stand public tomorrow, please, Dunk, cuz I'm not a member still and would love to see the community's comments. No worries if not, I know there's a lot of lurkers." So, isn't that nice? Someone that's like, yeah, if you could, it'd be good, but I understand if not. I like people like that. They call respectful people, friendly people. Okay, so, what do you make of that?
Uh while I've been uh reading that to you, I've had another email come in.
I know you some of you think I make this up, but it's here at the top at 4:14 p.m. UK time.
>> [sighs] >> What is in the Mail Stand? This is to do with he's very serious that LFC could be sold.
That's it. So, we've got another one to do. I don't know if I'm going to get that out.
Uh to be honest with you, cuz I've got a lot here.
So, we need to move on to our next one. So, let me know what you think um of of the contents of that email. Very uh well, it's a number of emails, but I thought it was very interesting last night on the stream, to be honest with you. Um I love I love getting stuff like that.
So, I'm sharing it with you, okay? And I've got permission to do so.
Um if you enjoyed this video, please thumbs up the video. If you didn't, thumbs it down. Drop me a comment. Uh there's a love heart under the video somewhere. If you want to support my channel, massive shout out to my peoples that do that. I always give you a shout out the next morning in the morning briefing.
Uh also, my channel members, if you want to support me alternatively, there's three links in the video description.
Uh and the Revolut one is my beer key for the weekend. And hopefully, I'm going to get a bit of beer this weekend cuz it feels like ages since I've had a beer.
So, I'm not going to moan to you about my my plans at the weekend have been changed a little bit. I'm moaned about it earlier, but I'm sure you don't want to know again.
Um so, anyway, hopefully, we can have some chill at the week. I feel very tired today, guys.
Very tired.
Need to wake up for that live stream. 2 hours to go until the live stream when we've got more content coming up. All right, guys. Uh let me know what you think of that one. All right. Cheers.
