[00:00:00]They are remarkably effective, and some people even would say that this is a revolution in our treatment of obesity, because they, on average, we're talking about over 20 percent weight loss—and that’s a magnitude of weight loss that in the past you could only achieve by having your stomach rerouted, your intestines, with bariatric surgery.

[00:00:22]There’s not a guaranteed weight loss, nor weight maintenance.

[00:00:27]And there's something like 15 percent of people that get essentially no benefit from the medicines.

[00:00:35]And it's hard to predict. There may be some genetic markers, but that's in a state of evolution.

[00:00:41]There are people who get some slight benefit, and there are other people losing 100 pounds plus that I have cared for.
