Removing Rust w/ Spinach

[00:00:00]Here's my brick on my house that is now, for the first time in 70 years, has a coat of paint. But, it is an old house and this electrical conduit had these straps holding it up and they are old and super rusty and no hardware store sells this size anymore. I cannot find it anywhere. So, in order to reuse these, we want to try to get the rust off and guess what we're going to use?

[00:00:21]Some spinach. Here's my straps that hold up my conduit outside and here's the chemical remedy, some nice oxalic acid.

[00:00:30]I'm going to break it up with the blender.

[00:00:33]I'm going to need some water.

[00:00:35]It's going to make a nice rust collecting juice.

[00:00:44]Spinach puree. Here's our rusty clips.

[00:00:48]And let's nature's oxalic acid strip the rust off my little clips.

[00:00:54]Let it sit and we'll check back. Look at that. This is the one that was least rusty. It didn't have a lot of rust on it. Look at it's Look how clean it is already. So, this one is definitely plenty finished and good enough. And these are still usable, but I think I'll put them back in uh solution so they can Now that we've done a little polish on them, that might let whatever oxalic acid is left in here continue to clean them. Let's see how the clips are doing with a [music] longer soak.

[00:01:25]I think, thinking about minerals and what's getting in the way of our mineral nutrition, should become a priority in nutrition. Competing ideas like plant-based, eat a rainbow, all kinds of cute ideas, don't necessarily hold muster when it comes to your enzymes, your cells. They need their minerals.
