Preexisting conditions, comorbidities, and non-communicable diseases are three different terms that all refer to the same concept: health problems that existed before a person died of COVID-19, such as diabetes, cancer, heart disease, or hypertension. These conditions are chronic and non-communicable, meaning they cannot be spread from person to person. In the United States, health insurance companies often refuse to cover individuals with preexisting conditions because they prioritize profit over patient care, using contract clauses to exclude coverage for those with such conditions.

Preexisting Conditions 😱 #preexistingconditions conditions本站添加:
doesn't need to pre, p r e. Sometimes you have a basketball game, you have a pre-game show. They talked about the athletes, they talked about the game, they talked about the matchup, the different teams. That's called a pre-game show. Pre-existing condition as it pertains to health means before these people died of COVID, they had a pre-existing health problem. Maybe it was diabetes, maybe it was cancer, maybe it was heart disease, maybe it was hypertension, maybe it was uh something else.
Maybe they had cancer.
Pre-existing health insurance companies in the United States, they won't even insure you financially if you have a pre-existing condition because they're all about making and saving money, not spending and paying out money to those who are insured and paying health care premiums or insurance on a monthly basis. So, they have little cute contracts that have clauses that say if you have a pre-existing condition, we're not going to cover you in America.
So, pre-existing conditions are the same as comorbidities or non-communicable diseases. Three different names, they all mean the same thing.
Non-communicable diseases, pre-existing conditions, comorbidities.
Just like a girl, a woman, and a female, they all mean the same thing pretty much except for girl maybe a little younger, female, woman a little older.
Understand, Kevin? Does that make sense?
Just like a boy, a man, and a guy, they're all men, right?
Understand?
So, pre-existing condition, comorbidity, non-communicable diseases, they all mean the same thing.
