How Federal Employee Unions Use Litigation to Fight Back and Win
Added:We got to understand that this union began in 1932.
Okay?
And in 1932, there was a few members that came together because they wanted to stop the same types of action that's going on today. They wanted to silence the federal workforce.
Uh they wanted to uh downgrade the workers and those type of thing. So, the union was formed. It was formed to begin to lobby Congress, right? And others to be able to get rights for the federal workforce. And and they've done that over and over and over again. Now, uh I must say we got a rogue in the White House right now that is disregarding any law, rule, or regulation. And so, therefore, it points to the fact that it is vitally important that we do the exact same thing again. That we do stand up as a federal workforce and that we do stand together because that's where our power is. We still are able to lobby Congress, okay? We still are able to fight for uh employees' rights and we're doing that. You know, we're doing that through litigation right now. And that's the thing that's going to turn this thing around. And not only we're doing it, but we are winning in these litigation. When you look at what's happening with the VA, when you look at what's happening with KSA, and now we are getting ready to do the same thing with DOD, I mean, we are winning and this is what the union does for its members.
