So this one video will be more than enough to cover full uh subject of this English part B lessons. Okay. So relax and just keep a headphones and just listen the explanation uh summaries of the lessons.
Clear? So without getting late let's get started.
Students welcome back to our channel. So as you all waited for this video. So here in this video we are going to discuss the complete lesson of English ma. So for part B there will be a compulsory question for 12 marks. The highway man total lesson I'll explain in a detailed way. Even if you are having a zero knowledge about this lesson also by end of this video you will get a complete clarification regarding this.
Okay. So basic English I will use it in the explanation and also in middle of the uh explanation I'll use Telugu also for both convenient. Okay. So the highway man was written by Alfred Noise.
Okay. So whenever you are learning about the author, whenever you are learning about the lesson, no, you need to understand the summary. Okay, as you all know, okay, so summary is very important. The format of summary is important. Any question they might be asking from this lesson in unit number uh one, first lesson for part B. This is the way you need to write it. Any question only summary you need to write it. Clear? So the highway man was written by Alfred Noise. Okay. So about the author compulsory you need to write it much. So what is about the author? We can write it here. See here Alfred Noise was a British famous poet. Okay. So he was a famous British poet. He was born in 1880 and died in 1958.
He wrote poems, stories, plays and many more. Okay. He was famous for that. The highway man is one of the most famous poems and it was published in the year 196 clear. So this is about the author. So compulsory about the author 5 to six lines you need to write it in the examination. Okay. Compulsory. So Alfred was a British famous poet. He was born in 1880 and died in 1958. And he was very famous writer and the highway man is one of the famous books of his writings and it was published in 1996 ears is very important. M clear. So what is this lesson? What is this highway man? Okay. So what is this uh story?
Okay. So see here ma the highway man is a tragic love story about the brave highway man and a young girl named Bess.
So the daughter of an inkeeper. Okay. So Bess is a daughter of inkeeper. Okay. So basically this lesson is about the tragic love story it seems. Okay. So the brave highman is the person highway man is the person and young girl is a best and uh she is the daughter of inkeeper.
Okay. You need to remember the name names compulsory. The poem is set in rural England during the 18th century and it is divided into two parts followed by an epigo. Okay. So this poem is divided into two parts. How many parts? Two parts. It has been divided and this poem is was uh about a rural areas means in a village type of areas in England. Okay. So the poem is set in rural England. Okay. In which century?
18th century. Okay. So what is this? The poem begins on a dark windy night. A handsome highway man rides through the moonlight to the meat best at her father's inn. So here what is uh the story has been started means it was a very dark and windy night it seems.
Okay. uh like a rain like dark like that the weather is there and a handsome highway man is there who is riding through the moonlight in the dark moonlight no he was riding that so he is a handsome he was very handsome and highway man we were saying that highway man okay so to meet for whom to meet best at her father's house okay so the hero hero is nothing about the highway man okay he hero is riding through the moonlight to meet the young girl. Who is that young girl? Bess. Okay. At her father kins. He is dressed in rich clothes and arrives on a beautiful horse. So the hero is there. No, the the person highway man he was very uh uh dressed very well. It seems like rich clothes like that and he's getting in the horse. No, he's riding the horse.
No. The horse is very beautiful it seems. The two lovers meet secretly because the highway man is a wanted man.
Okay. Before leaving he promises best that he will return the next night even if he is to face the danger. So the person the highway man and the best will meet secretly. Okay. Why? Because the person who is there the highway man is a wanted person. means somebody is searching for him and he was giving promises to the best that tomorrow next night means tomorrow night I will be arriving as usual. So even though he is facing some danger also but still he will promise the best okay that he will return in I will return the next night bowl. Okay. So he will tell that okay so their secret meeting is watched by Tim the hostler who also loves best. See here same like a tragedic cinema love story it will be like that only. So hero is a highway man best is a hero in and the wherever they are meeting secretly the other person will see them. Who is the other person? T I M Tim. Tim is a person who is already loving best. So he is also loving best. Okay. So that fellow will see this both uh lovers at that secret place out of jealy. Okay. He will get the jealousy. No. So the team informs the king soldiers about the highway man. Means soldiers is searching for the hero. No. So what this fellow will do means he will tell that king's soldiers that that highway man is there in this locations like that. He will tell about the highway man. The soldiers come to the in the next evening to capture him. When they failed to find him, they tied best to her bed and placed a lorded musket in front of her.
They plan to use her as a bait so that they can kill the highway man when he arrives. So next evening when the king soldiers were went there to uh get to catch that highway man. So the highway man was not there. So what they'll do whatever at that place the bus will come. No. So they will lock the bus. So automatically the highway man will be coming. No. So definitely will arrives.
So that is the thing. Next as part night grows darker in that evening the best uh the hero will not come. So they will catch that best. As night is growing darker. Bess hears the sound of the highway man's house horse coming towards the inn. So she will realize that the highway man is coming with the help of the sound of the horse. She realizes that he is walking into a deadly trap means the best is nothing about a heroine. So heroine what she will think means so he was coming into the trap only. No. So she realizes that since she cannot speak or move freely, she bravely suggest and struggles to reach the trigger of the musket with her finger.
So anyway she want to help the highway man that here we should you should not come. So that she is trying some other thing but she's can't she can't uh explain uh the freely no she can't speak uh freely she can't move wherever she want to do. So she'll use her brain and what she will do means she'll um uh reach to that trigger of the musket and she will uh she will uh reach that trigger of the musket and she will see that finger.
Okay. So finally she puts the trigger.
The gunshot kills her instantly but also warns the highway man about the danger.
So the hero is coming. Heroin is able to she realized that that hero is coming.
Okay. She she need to help him at anyway. So what they will do means the persons who lock that best no she will slowly reach to that trigger of the gun like it's like gun type and she will press with her finger she pulls the trigger so automatically the gunshoot will kills the best automatically the hero will realize that something is happening here he was in danger so like that indirectly she wanted to help him okay hearing the shot he returns his horse around and escapes So what happened? So after hearing that shot, the hero uh brilliantly he'll go to go back to his horse and he will escape. The next morning the highway man learns that Bess sacrificed her life to save him.
Later next morning he will realize that to save him the best has lost her life.
He is heartbroken and filled with grief and anger. Instead of running away, he rides back towards the inn to take revenge and face the soldier. So after realizing that he was very hangry that means the hero is very grief and hanger.
So instead of going back he will go forward only to face that soldiers to take the revenge that heroine was killed by them. No. So the soldiers shoot him dead on the highway. Okay. So here what happened? The soldier shoot him. That means the soldier will shoot the highway man also. So he will also automatically die. So where he will shoot that the shoulders shoot him dead on the highway.
So the poem ends with a ghostly epilogue. It says that on cold winter nights people believe that spirits of the highway man and Bess still meet at the old inn. Means he was uh killed by that inn only. No means in that place only. No. So the poem is little bit having the horror fear also what they'll say that. So some people will think that in winter's night uh in that place and the highway man and the best will meet like an old in like they will believe as a spirits means ghost. Their love continues even after death showing that true love never ends. The poem teaches that true love is based on loyalty, courage and sacrifice. It also shows the jealousy and betrayal can destroy innocent life. Through its emotional story and beautiful descriptions, the highway man remains one of the greatest romantic balads in English literature.
So what is the moral of the story? Ma, so here it is moral of the story is a true love. Even after the death also the two two pure even soul that souls were there no they were doing uh meeting like that that is called a true love okay you people are [clears throat] zenzi kids now you don't know about the true meaning of love I think I'm saying correct only so here in this lesson we realize that how a romantic true love story should be see every time love story is not about something like uh whatever you people are thinking it is something not about the uh lust or anything it might be it is in this poem what we can get to know is it is a pure uh pure souls where they have sacrifices their each lives for the sake of other people the person who loved for them it is called a true love a mother and daughter will have a true love a brother and sister will have a true love a father and daughter will have a true love. Okay, true love is not about something about a boy and a girl, young boy and a young girl. It is nothing about a relationships where we will show the true intentions to create that empathy, sympathy, love, care everything to that persons. Yes, am I right? So, let me know what you think about this lesson in the comment section. I hope that you have got a clarity. This is all about like a cinema story not nothing about that. So I think you have got clarity. Okay. So still if you're having any further doubts let me know. I just let me know in the comment section whether the explanation is understandable or not so that I'll continue further explanation also. Okay.
So how many members want the Telugu explanation also? Let me know in the comment section. This notes PDF is available in our telegram group for free of cost. Let me know if you're having any further doubts. See you all in next video students. Bye-bye everyone.
Hello students, welcome back to our channel. So here in this video we are going to discuss the full explanation of the lesson the blue light. Okay, this one video will be more than enough to cover this lesson for your final examination. Any question they might be asking from this lesson, you need to write only the summary. So here I'll explain what is the summary you are having in this thing. Okay. So basically uh whatever the lesson you are having no whatever the summary I'm showing on the screen same like that only you can write it in the examination mark to get the full marks. Okay. So the blue light was written by Wcom Muhammad Bashir. Okay.
So the author name is Wcom Muhammad Bashir. Okay. about the author to compulsory you need to learn. Yes. So Muhammad Bashir 1908 he was born in the year 1908. He was died in the year 1994.
Okay. So b date of birth and date of death is compulsory. You need to remember ma. So he was one of the greatest mallayalam writers and freedom fighter from Kerala. Okay. So he was one of the great and famous Mallayalam writer. Okay. And also a freedom writer from Kerala. Okay. So he was affectionately known as the Bon Sultan.
Okay. He was also known as the Bur Sultan. Even if my pronunciation is uh wrong means please don't mind. Try to remember the words or the names. Okay.
So his writings are simple, realistic, humorous and full of human emotions.
Whatever the uh Bashir is there, the author, his poems and his writings will be very simple, realistic and it is very humorous for the human emotions. Okay.
He wrote about love, loneliness, poverty and ordinary people's life based on his own experiences. Okay. So he was uh writings will be more dependent on mean he was already wrote a stories related to the loneliness love ordinary people's life how it will be there like that okay some of his famous works are balak bala kala saki and uh whatever the names you are having you see here bala kala andu mahmud something it is there because it is a mallayali writings no so we will unable to pronounce that. So please don't mind, please don't discourage me in the comment sections. So these famous writings will be there. So just remember the words. If you know the pronunciation, just remember the pronunciation and write that in the examination. So he received many prestigious awards including the praashri and the sahiti academy fellowships and the kerala sahitya academy fellowships and the uh various awards he was received it seems. So not to remember all just two to three awards like a sahiti academy or fellowship award padmasri award like that if you are remembering it will be okay. Okay then the blue light was originally written in mallayalam as nilalam and was published in 1952. Whatever the blue light is lesson is there. It was originally it was written in mallayalam it seems. So what is the name of that mallayalam script of this blue light means so nilicham okay so this is the name of this blue light le in mallayalam okay it was published in 1952 later it was uh emerged in English language also clear about the author done so I hope that you have got about the author now come back to the summary ma so what is this uh summary the blue light is a touching Short story that combines a mystery with human emotions.
It is a emotional story. Short story it seems whatever the blue light is there.
It will combines the mystery along with the human emotions. Okay. It is not a horror story but a story about loneliness, compassion, friendship and hope. So basically after listening this story many of the people will think it is like a horror story but it is not about a horror story. It is about a friendship. It is about a lonely ship.
It is all about a hope. Okay. The story begins when an unnamed writer rents an old lonely house on a hill. So whatever the lesson is there is starting with a uh person who is taking a rent on a hill. Okay. So the villagers warn him that house is haunted by the ghost of a young woman named Bhargavi Kouti. Okay.
So what is the horror? Uh that ghost name ghost name is Bhargavi Kouti. So basically Bhargavi is my sister's name.
So Bavi Kouti. Okay. So the people were saying him that don't go to that hill.
So there was a young woman ghost is there and her name is Bargavi Kouti.
They tell him that she committed suicide by jumping into the well after the man she loved married another woman on their wedding day. So here what the story villages is saying is that Bargavi Kiviver died on that. So that's why they are becoming uh that's why that girl is becoming as a ghost. So why she was died means her the person who loved Bargavi is loving someone and that person married some other girl on the wedding day. So for that case for that sadness for that uh thing so the she was committed suicide. Okay the narrator is poor and needs a peaceful place to write. So whatever the person is there he needs a very peaceful place where nobody should disturb him like that.
Okay. So unlike villagers he does not he does not believe in fearing ghost. Even many of the villagers were saying about that incident also the person is not able to get about all that belief. So he will not believing all that. So instead he feels sympathy for Bargavi Kouti because she suffered a tragedic love story because instead of remembering her as a ghost he was uh like he was feeling very uh sad for Baravi Kouti that uh he was like uh for that tragic love story.
Okay. So before entering the house he politely speaks to their spirit. Okay.
Before entering into the stepping into the house, he politely speaks to her uh spirit whatever is there on that room on that hill. Okay. He request permission to stay in the house and promises that he will not disturb her. He also tells her that if she ever wants him to leave, she can simply give him a sign. So before getting into the house before stepping in he was asking a permission to the ghost means bhargavi ki that I will stay here with your permission if you I will not disturb at anyway if you feel any discomfort you can give a small sign so that I will leave from this house. So like that the person is saying means the author is saying. So he also tells us uh that if she ever wants to live okay the narrator begins living in the house without fear. He often talks to Bhargavi as though she is his uh she is his friend or a roommate. He treats her with kindness, respect and understanding instead of seeing her as a threatening ghost. So they both are leaving in that and they were very friendly each other even though it is a ghost also they were very kindly sometimes this uh person will talk with Bhargavi and like that. Okay. So the narrator is narrating the story like that. So they lived in the house without any fear. Okay. So he treats her with a full of respect, kindness, everything like that. Every night he keeps a blue lamp burning. The blue light becomes a symbol of hope, peace and the connection between the narrator and a bhargavi spirit. Okay. Here what is there means every time uh the person the narrator will keep a blue light as uh in the thing as a burning. So what is the blue light indication? It is nothing about a hope or a peace or a connection between them. So this is about it. Next, the lonely house, the silence, the rustal leaves, the darkness and the old surroundings create a mysterious atmosphere. Yes. Just imagine if you are in that place, how fear we will be. Yes.
So, however, the purpose is not to frighten the reader. Instead, these details make the story emotional and thoughtful. Okay. The narrator understands Bhargavi's pain and believes that every soul every every lonely souls deserves love and compassion. So what they were saying is every lonely soul will have the great opportunity to get a love. They deserves the love. They deserve the compassion everything. Okay.
Like that the narrator understands the pain of the bhargavies. That is nothing but a pain of the spirit.
One rainy night after returning from a friend's house, the narrator notices a mysterious blue light shining from his room. Instead of feeling scared uh sackled, he feels peaceful and amazed.
He believes that blue light is a sign of Bhargavi's gentle presence. The light confirms that her spirit still exist peacefully in the house. So this is the story. One rainy night after returning from his friend's house he was ringing a blue light. So what he think is nothing about. So he was thinking that uh that spirit of the Bhagavi is living a very peaceful in that house. So the story ends on a calm and emotional note. The blue light symbolizes hope, kindness, love and eternal connection between the two souls. Through this story, Muhammad Bashir teaches that compassion is stronger than fear and that love and misunderstandings can even beyond death.
Okay. So this is about the story. Any question whatever the story I have explained now just make sure you need to write it in the examination. So what is the moral of the story? Moral of the story will teach us about the kindness.
How powerful uh of the sympathy, love will be there rather than the fear. We should treat everyone with compassion because every person has a story of pain. Simply we should not judge another person instead of knowing the truth. So love, friendship, humanity, anything it will have the meaningful things even after the death also. So this is all about the moral of the story. Yes. So that's it about the uh the blue light lesson. So very easy lesson. It is like a cinema story. So that's it. So I think if you have having any further doubts do let me know in the comment section. All the very best for your examination as well as your preparation. Bye-bye everyone.
Hello students, welcome back to our channel. So here in this video we are going to discuss the lesson complete lesson summary of English semester 2.
The lesson name is mending wall. Okay.
So by watching this video you'll get a complete explanation about this lesson but directly whatever the story I have explained. No directly you can write this stories explanation into your final examination for long. Okay compulsory there will be a question for part B 12 marks from this lesson. Okay. Any question they might be asking you need to write only summary. Okay. So here we are having the lesson name mending wall.
Who is the author of that? Robert Frost.
So Robert Frost is the author of mending wall. So Robert Frost was born in 1874 and died in 1963 1963 was one of the greatest American poets of 20th century.
So this Robert means author is one of the greatest poet of American poets of 20th century. It seems he was born in 1874 and he was died in 1963. Compulsory you need to remember the date of birth and date of death and where he is born.
What is a famous for? Okay. He is famous for writing about nature, rural life and human relations in simple but meaningful language. He was very well poet for famous for his writings means he will write about the general topics like nature, human relations in a meaningful language means everyone can understand that language. Everyone can involved in that story like that. Okay. He was famous for that. Before becoming a successful poet he worked as a farmer, teacher and factory worker. He won politer prize for four times and became the poet of United States in 1958. Okay.
So before getting into the this poet no he was one of worked as a farmer and teacher and also a factory worker. He got an award for four times in US in 1958. His poems include the road not taken, stopping by woods on a snowy evening, and mending wall.
Mending wall was published in 1914.
So compulsory 6 to seven lines. Okay, compulsory you need to write about the author. So this is all about the Robert Frostma. Easy way I have given the clarity I think. So compulsory you need to write about the author. What is the famous books? The road not taken, stopping by whoops, stopping by woods on a snowy evening. These are the important uh uh famous uh uh publishes poems. So compulsory you need to write about the author like this. Okay. Now come back to the lesson. What is this mending wall?
Okay. Why it is there? What is there?
Everything I will let you know easy.
Okay. So mending wall. See here, mending wall is a thoughtful poem about two neighbors who repairs this stone wall between their farms every spring. Okay.
So in every spring season, okay, two farmers will repair the stone wall whatever they are having between their farmers. So it is not it is about the lesson related to the two neighbors.
Okay. During winter nature breaks parts of the wall. Okay. In winter season what happen? What will happens means uh it will break the walls. No. So we all we all get to know means the students uh if you are in from village village uh from the village you'll get to idea about this in winter seasons walls will get the cracks everything like that. So the frozen ground wind and even hunters creep gaps in it create gaps in it. So what they'll do for this in this uh frozen ground hunters what they'll do they will create a gaps in it. Every year the two neighbors work together to build a wall by placing the fallen stones back in their proper places. Here these two neighbors what they will do?
know every year, every year they will work together to fill that gaps. Okay?
Whatever the fallen stones are there on the wall, they will throw back into their proper places. As they repair the wall, the speaker begins the question whether the wall is really necessary or not. So while continuing this lesson the lesson started mean the speaker will question they will the speaker will give a question that whether the wall is really necessary is that wall is necessary every year we are doing that much work no is it necessary it is waste of time or not whether you need to tell about that that is about the question he grows apple trees while his labor neighbor grows pine trees pineapple trees so one fellow will grow the apple trees and another neighbor will grow the pine trees. Okay.
Since apple trees and pine trees uh trees cannot harm each other, the speaker feels there is no need of a wall between them. Here it is. Two neighbors is there like this. Okay. It is a wall between their farm. Okay. So here one person will like uh investing in the uh apple and another person is investing in the pine. So what the poet is saying is pineapple tree and apple tree if it is combined together also it will not harm anything. Okay. Why you make why to make that wall like that the speaker will question them. Okay. So he believes that he believes that wall create unnecessary distance between people. However the neighbor strongly believes in tradition.
He keeps repeating the saying go good fences make good neighbors. Here the a the speaker is saying that what is his intention is if we are keeping the wall it will create unnecessary distance between us. Okay like that the speaker is saying but the neighbor strongly believes in the tradition it seems what is the tradition if we are creating a good fences if we are creating a good wall we will make a good neighbors also.
Why he given this statement?
He never questions why the wall should exist because it was belief passed down by his father. For him the wall represents a safety, order and respect for boundaries. Here it is not about neighbors which it is all about his father who was uh just means he was questioned that when his father is passed away. So for him he represented it as a good boundaries, safety and order. Okay.
Throughout the poem the speaker compared the neighbors tradition thinking his own modern and logical ideas. He believes that good good people should question old customs instead of following them blindly. Nature itself seems to dislike walls which because even winter it breaks down. This suggests that nature nature encourages openness and united rather than separation. So what at the end of the poem what they are saying means throughout the poem the speaker what they are saying means what how he is comparing means even the nature is not willing uh about this wall every time in winter season it will create a cracks. No, but instead of following your old tradition as you are a intelligent person, you need to question why we are doing this work, why we are doing these things, why we are doing this actions, you need to question them instead of following them blindly. Okay.
So this suggest the nature encourages openness. What this will do? Nature is also suggesting the openness and also uniting rather than the separation. So that's why in every winter it is breaking that wall. In the end the wall is repaired again. The but the speaker left wondering whether the wall is truly protected by people or simply separate them. The poem teaches that while some boundaries are necessary, people should think carefully before creating barriers, dividing relationships and communication. So like this the author means the speaker concluded the poem like this. Okay. So what he was saying means you need to think carefully before keeping certain boundaries before dividing the uh relationships before making the communication you need to you need to think once. Okay. So what is the moral of the poem? What is the moral of the poem about this means the poem teaches that tradition should be questioned with the reason if my father said my amama said my tata said like that if you're following blindly means it is not working in the present technology so it is not good for that also what is they are saying is you need to question before following your tradition healthy relationships are built on trust and understanding not on physical boundaries ies. If you want to create a good healthy relationship between your neighbor, you need to have the good understanding, not a physical boundaries. If you are keeping wall in middle, you'll get a good boundaries like that. Instead of don't follow that all that okay so this is the moral of the lesson. Okay. So compulsory important one about the author about the lesson two neighbors everything you need to write it. One is apple tree one is pine tree. You need to mention all this in the examination summary answer. Okay.
The author is Robert Frost. Clear? So I hope that you have got a clarity. Still if you having any further doubts, do let me know in the comment section whether the explanation is understandable or not compulsory. Let me know. See you all in next video. And this PDF is completely available for free of cost in our telegram group. All the links I have mentioned in the description box. Praise song for my mother is a very interesting and emotional story. Ma and the poem how the author is uh uh describing everything we will get to know in this uh explanation.

Summary compulsory six to seven lines about the author to compulsory you need to write it. Grace Nicholls Grace Nichols she is the author of praise song for my mother. Clear? So I hope you have got a clarity. So now come back to the lesson. What is this lesson? What is the summary? We are having everything. So full summary. See here. Praise the song for my mother is a beautiful poem in which the poet Grace Nichols expresses her deep love, respect and gratitude to her mother for her mother. So it is a beautiful poem. Here the poet whoever is the the author whoever is there Grace Nicholls she expresses her love, respect, gratitude, love for her mother.
Okay. So in this poem she praises her mother by comparing her to different elements of nature that supposeded and guided her throughout her life. So she's comparing with her nature okay and uh how she's guided her throughout her life how it is important how it is played important key role like that in this poem she elevated that okay so there are a stantas no in the first stanza okay in the first part of the poem the poet compares her mother to water so she's comparing her mother like a water. Okay.
Just as water gives lives to all living things, her mother gave her love, care, emotion, support and strength. Like water will give the life to all the living beings. No, like humans, plants, animals like that. Same like that way mother also will give the care, emotion, support, love and strength to the children's. The mother became the source of the poet's life and happiness. Here the poet's life and happiness is built because of her mother only. Like that she is describing in the poem. This is the first part of the poem. In the first part, mother is elevated. Mother is compared with water. Okay. In the second stanza, the mother is compared to the moon. Why she compared to the moon? The moon shines in the darkness and shows the right part. Yes or no? If you're having a black darkness, moon will shine on that particular part. Yes, it will give you the right part. Same like that only mother also will give the right way to choose yourself. She will be protected you. She feels she as as she faces many difficulties but still she bothers about your career. Okay. She gave her hope and confidence during hard times. Yes. So in the second part of the poem she compared mother into the moon.
Okay. In the third stanza in the third stanza the mother is compared to the sun. Okay. How she compared? She's compared to this sun. Why sun? The sun provides light, warmth and energy for life. Yes or no? Without sun, sun is having many advantages like it will give the light in the daytime. It will warm means if the temperature is too cold, no, it will give the warmth. Yes. It will give the energy to the life of the uh living things. Yes. In the same way, mother also encouraged the poem filled her life with warmth and happiness and also which helps her to grow in a confident person. Yes or no? All mothers will be like that only. Even my mother also like that only. Even your mother also will be like that only. Same like that only. No. So in the third stanza, the mother is compared to the son. Okay.
In the fourth stanza, the mother is compared to the food. Why food? Food will give you the strength. Food will nourishment. It will give you the nourishment. Yes or no? In the same way, mother also will care all her physical and emotional needs. She protects her and made sure she grew up with security and love. Okay. In the same way like how we'll get the strength by eating the food. Same like that only it will compare to the mother where care her physical and emotional needs. Yes. In the final stanza last stanza fifth stanza the mother love uh the mother lovingly tells her daughter go to your wide future. These words should that mother wants her daughter to become independent and achieve success in life. So in the last stanza of the poem the mother itself will respond. Although whenever you are having a into your future phase if you are going into your future also like how I am thinking like how I have cared you. Same like that only you will also care your daughter. Okay. Although it is difficult for a mother to let her child go. She encourages her daughter to face the future with courage. Okay. Yes or no? Every mother will not uh that much uh uh happy to let her go but still it will encourages the daughter to face the courage to face the future with more courage. Okay. The poem ends up the showing that mother greatest gift is preparing her child to live confidently and independently. This is the main greatest gift by a mother. The poet celebrates the unconditional love, sacrifice, guidance and encouragement of a mother. This shows that mother influence remains with her throughout life. So like this the lesson has been winded up. So here what they'll do it will celebrate the love, guide and support whatever they are getting from a mother and mother will influence their child throughout the entire career of that entire life of that particular child. Yes. Yes or no? So this is about the poem the lesson. Okay. And what is the moral of this poem? A mother love, care and guidance shapes a child future.
Yes or no? If your mother is in a doing a correct pathway to you, it will decide your future also. True parenting means not only protecting children but also giving them the confidence to become independent and successful. So this is very very very important to the present moms because here it is not about protecting your daughters, protecting your children. It is all about giving them confidence that they can stand by their own. Okay. They can become an independent. They can become a successful persons. Yes or no? So this is about the moral of the poem. So five stanzas is there. In the first one she compared her mother with water. Second one moon. Third one sun. Fourth one food. And then the fifth stanza mother itself will tells that daughter. Okay.
Okay, she never compares in the fifth stanza. Mother only will respond to her daughter. Okay, so this is all about the lesson ma. I hope that you have got a clarity. Still, if you're having any further doubts, do let me know in the comment section. All the very best for your examination as well as your preparation whether the explanation is understanding or not, do let me know.

Hello students, welcome back to our channel. So here in this video the complete poem you are old father William. Okay. So this lesson complete explanation I'm going to uh explain in this video. So if you are having a zero knowledge also by end of this video you'll get a clarity any question they might be asking from this uh uh lesson you need to write only the summary.
Okay. So by listening my story just write down the summary in your final examination. So compulsory 12 marks question there will be okay. So see here uh the lesson is you are old father William. Okay. So it was written by Levis Carroll. Okay. So he is the person the author name is Levis Carroll. Okay.
So Levis Carroll was the pen name of Charles. Okay. Dachshunds. Okay. It is a pen name. Whose pen name? Charles Lut Dachon. Pen name it is. Okay. So basically he was born in 1832 and died in 1898. Okay. He was an English writer, mathematician and lecturer at Oxford University. The author, he is a lecturer at Oxford University. He's a English writer and he is a mathematician. Okay.
He became famous for writing imaginative and humorous stories filled with fantasy and nonsense. So his works is famous because of his imaginative writing means he will imaginate the stories and he will write the stories and humorous stories where it will give you the fantasy and nonsense. Okay. His most famous books are allies adventures in wonderland and through the looking glass. Okay. So one of his major famous books are Allies Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. Okay. So Keral poems are playful and entertaining but they often contain hidden messages also where it will related to the it will question the society, it will questions the logic, it will questions the traditions. Okay. Even though it is a numerous and entertaining and playful but still it will have a hidden message.
So you are old father William first appeared in Alli's adventures in Wonderland. So this part you are old father William was first it was involved in the Li's adventure in Wonderland.
Okay. So this is about the author.
Compulsory you need to write about the author minimum six to seven lines.
compulsory you need to write about the author Levis Kroll. Okay. So whatever I have discussed just now you need to include that all. Okay. Now come back to the lesson. Ma full summary.
Full summary. And uh your old father William is a humorous and nonsense poem written as conversation between a curious young man and an old man named father William. So this poem is related to the two persons. One person is a young man and the second person is a old man. Old man name is father William.
Okay. The young man is surprised that father William can perform unusual and impossible actions even though he is very old. So here what they are saying is the young man is uh like surprised.
So that he is very surprised that that father William is there. No father William is nothing about the old man. So father William is doing an impossible actions at that age means at the age of for example at the age of 80 nobody can jump nobody can run so long like that yes it is it is like a impossible activities just I'm giving example so same like that father William is performing an impossible actions even though he is very old the poem become the poem begins with the young man pointing out that father William has became very old and his age has turned white also. Okay. Here pointing out the father William. Why he is pointing out the father William? So father William is becoming very old because his his hair is also turned into white. He wonders why father William still stands on his head which seems dangerous for an old person. Okay. So here what they are saying means at that old age even his hair is also white. At that age he stands on his head it seems means uh up from downwards direction here head see your head like that. Okay.
Hands legs like that. Okay. He standing on that head. How it is possible and how dangerous it will be for the old person.
He is not a young person also. Okay.
Father William jokingly replies that when he was young he worried about damaging his brain but now he believes he has nothing to damage so he freely stands on his head. So, father William is uh responding to that young man uh like he he's just joking that at my young age I was worried about my brain because if I stand on my bra head my brain will damage but now what I believe is here nothing is there to damage everything is gone now that's why I'm freely standing on my head like that he was just uh cracking that on it jokely okay so next the young man is surprised to see the Old man performing a black sorry next. The young man is surprised to see the old man performing a black sr salt even though he is overweight.
Father William says he became so active because of specific ointment he used in his youth. So be for that sr salt what he was responded father William he was responded that in at my young age I used to have some special medicine that's why I am active at this age also he even tries to sell that ointment to the young man so that old man is also trying to sell that ointment to the young man also he's just trying the young man asked then uh how father William managed to eat an entire goose with its bones and break despite appearing too old to chew hard food. Okay, the young man is asking again how you will eat that hard food.
You are chewing, you're breaking, you're breaking the bones, you're despiting everything, how you'll do that that young man is asking the father William.
Father William humorously explains that years of arguing with his wife made his jaws extremely strong. Here it is a joke like that humorous like joke like it is he's just saying like casual joke what he was saying means at my young age I used to argue with my wife so that's why my jawline is very strong so that's why I'm used uh that's why I'm still strong to eat that bones everything like that he was humorously he's explaining his okay so finally the young man is amazed that father William can balance an eel on the end of his nose. By this time, father William becomes irritated with the endless questions. At last, young man is uh finally that young man is amazed that father is also can balance a eel on the end of the nose also. But still at that time, father William becomes irritated for his endless question. He goes on asking the questions. No. So he tells the young man to stop asking foolish questions and threatens to kick him downwards if he continues. So what he said is just stop this all this foolish questions. If you again ask means I'll just kick you downstairs. If you continue your questions like that he will threaten that young man. Who will threaten?
Father William will threaten him. Okay.
Young man. Father William will threaten the young man. Okay. So the poem ends humorously showing that father William is confident, energetic and unwilling to follow society's expectations about old age. So the poems is ending now. So what the father William is very energetic, very confident and he was unwilling to follow all the circumstances, follow all the norms, expectations whatever we are having on the society about old age. He was least bothered about that through nonsense and humor. Levis scarol means author suggests that book should not judge about others based on age and should enjoy imagination and creativity.
So here also the author is explaining the same thing. You should not judge a thing about the age. You need to enjoy the imagination and the creativity. This is just an imagination and a creativity story in real time. This has been not done. It is just an imagination. It is just a creativity of the story. So that's why Levis Carol is suggesting the people not just at that age. Oh, nobody will stand like that. They will think no some of the criticize they will criticize. No, for them the author is saying like that. Okay. So what is the moral of the story?
The poem teaches us not to judge people by their age or appearance. It also encourages imagination, humor, independent thinking instead of blindly following your social rules or uh traditional rules. You need to think while what you are doing, what encourages your imagination. You should not simply judge the people based on their age, based on their appearance.
You should not judge them. So this is about the moral of the story. The young man is thinking like that only you know old as a old man how can he achieve the bones? How can he doing all the things?
How can he doing all the activities like that? Okay. So it is all about the social rules. The old man should be like this only. Young man should be like this only like that there will no. So here the author is saying that don't follow all the things. Just do whatever you feel good. If you stay strong you will get achieve anything like that. You should be confident. You should be energetic about yourself. So like that this lesson is there. So I hope that you have got a clarity. So this PDF is available in our telegram group for free of cost. So still if you are having any further doubts do let me know in the comment section. All the very best for your examination. Let me know definitely how is the explanation whether it is understanding or not. See you all in next video students. Bye-bye everyone.
Hello students. Welcome back to our channel. So here in this video we are going to discuss about the complete explanation of the lesson letter to Lord Chesterfield. Okay. So by watching this one video you can complete the whole lesson. You can able to understand the whole story. You can able to attempt the same answer whatever I'm showing on the screen to get the full marks. Okay. 12 marks compulsory question there will be thereing uh in the part BMA so don't skip and uh this notes PDF is completely uh available in our telegram group for free of cost all the links I have mentioned in the description box letter to Lord Chesterfield was written by Samuel Johnson okay compulsory we need to write about the author minimum six to seven lines we need to write about the author so This lesson author is Samuel Johnson. Okay. So what is about the author we are having we need to discuss now. Samuel Johnson. Okay. See here Samuel Johnson was born in the year 1799 and died in 1784.
Also known as Dr. Johnson. Okay. So he is also known as Dr. Johnson. He was born in 1799 and he was died in 1784.
One of the England's greatest writer, critics, poets, essiciest and lexicorographs etc. So he's not only for the poet, he's also a critic, he's also a poet, he's also a great writers etc. He is best known for a dictionary, a dictionary of the English language. He is known for his writing. What is the writing name? A dictionary of the English language 1755.
One of the most important dignitaries in English history. Okay. So he was famous for his writing. So it is it is issued in the year 1755.
He was respected for his intelligence, powerful writings style. Oh sorry he was respected for his intelligence, powerful writing style and independent thinking also. Okay. So for them he was been respected. His letter to Lord Sisterfield became famous because it defended the dignity and independence of the writer. See whatever the lesson we are having letter to Lord Chesterfield it is one of the famous thing it has been became. Why? Because whatever the independence of the writers is that it was been done with the help of this letter to Lord Chesterfield only okay so this is about the author compulsory you need to write it ma so don't skip any point so write his famous writing his date of birth date of death why he is famous okay in which here he got a best known writings in the year 1755 all these things you need to write it about that Now come back to the lesson. Now summary letter to Lord Chesterfield is a famous personal letter written by Samuel Johnson in 1755. So this lesson lesson is just a letter okay which is written by author. Author is nothing about the Samuel Johnson in which here he is written this personal letter in 1755.
It is considered one of the strongest statements of the selfrespect and literally independence in English literature. Okay. So it is in this letter what it is having means it is having a strongest statements for the selfrespect and also independence in the English literature also we are getting after this uh writing only. Okay. So several years earlier Samuel Johnson had started writing a dictionary of the English language. So before uh earlier of this uh 1755 he started writing a uh book or he started writing a thing called a dictionary of the English literature language. Since the project required many years of hard work he requested financial support from Lord Chesterfield. So to complete this book we want to financially we need to have the support. No. So he asked about the financial support to Lord Chesterfield a wealthy noble man. So who is this Lord Chesterfield? He's a wealthy noble man.
However Chesterfield ignored Johnson and offered him no help during the difficult years of writing the dictionary. So that Chesterfield ignored the Johnson. Okay.
He offered them he will not would he will not help anything in these difficult years of the writing. So he was said like that okay after nearly 7 years of hard work Johnson completed the dictionary without any support from Chesterfield. So without any taking any support from the Chesterfield he completed the writing of the dictionary it has been taken up to 7 years. When the dictionary was almost ready to published and expected to become successful, Chesterfield suddenly praised Johnson publicly in a magazine hoping people would think he had supported the project from the beginning. So after writing the uh dictionary it is been published and it is expected in successful and it is become too successful. Actually at that time Chesterfield suddenly praised the uh Johnson in publicly in magazine it seems okay that people what they'll think uh Chesterfield is also like supported him from the beginning of the work like that people will think no so to create that Chesterfield has suddenly praised the Johnson was deeply disappointed by Chesterfield's behavior instead of accepting this late praise he wrote a polite but powerful letter reject rejecting Chesterfield's false claim of patronage. So in he was very disappointed. Who is disappointed?
Johnson's was very deeply disappointed by seeing this Chesterfield behavior instead of accepting that he was writing he was writing a letter polite letter.
Okay. But it is very powerful to having a false claim of the uh patronage. Okay.
Johnson explained the true pattern should help a writer when is needed not after the work is already finished. So here what he was saying means when it is needed you need to help it after completing the whole work you should not praise that. Okay. In the letter, Johnson says that Chesterfield has ignored him during the years of poverty, struggle and hard work. He proudly states that he completed the dictionary through his own efforts without receiving encouragement, money or support from Chesterfield. He openly says that in the letter he ignored him during the years of poverty, during the years of the struggles and hard work.
Okay. So completely he is the only person who wrote it. Who is the person?
Johnson. Okay. In the letter he openly says that okay the letter became an important symbol of the independence of writers. It marked the decline of the old system in which writer dependent on wealthy patron. Johnson proved the talent, hard work and selfrespect are more valuable than the favor of a powerful people. Here what he was saying what he was concluding means if you are having a good work if you're having your talent if you're having your self-made if you're having your uh hard work okay you can get more valuable uh for your writings rather than having a favor of the wealthy people so he proved that he he taken a he he brought independence of the writings by this letter to Lord Chesterfield okay next Today, today the letter is remembered as one of the greatest examples of courage, dignity and honesty in English literature. Okay. So at the last the letter is having no it is having the honesty, it is having the courage, it is having the dignity, it is having the polite way of asking. So in this English literature it has been done and it has been become a greatest examples for that. So what is the moral of this uh lesson means true success comes through your hard work, self-confidence and honesty. We should value selfrespect more than wealth power or empty praise.
Okay? You should not depend on that. You should depend on your hard work, your uh honesty, your self-confidence, your smart work. You need to depend on that. So success will come from that.
Okay? It will not come from uh uh like a fake praise uh like it will it will not come from the wealth. It will not come from the power like that. Okay. This is about the lesson moral. Okay. Moral of the story. So this is about the lesson easy lesson letter to Lord Chesterfield.
You need to explain about the Johnson about his writing and how the Chesterfield has not yet helped at the first and after becoming successful how he praised him in the magazine and again how Johnson is politely expressing the powerful speech in the letter. Okay, everything you need to include how I explained in this video okay so still if you're having any further doubts do let me know in the comment section I hope that you have got a clarity. Okay ma'am.
So this notes PDF is completely available in our telegram group. Please check out in that. If you're having any further doubts, if you are not understanding the explanation also do let me know in the comment section. I'll get to know. Okay. All the best and see you all in next video students. Bye-bye everyone.
Students welcome back to channel. So here in this video we are going to discuss about the complete explanation of the lesson how it feels to be colored me. Okay. So this lesson is there compulsory there will be a question any question if they are asking you need to write about the story of the lesson you need to write only the summary even if you are having a zero knowledge also by end of this video you will get a complete clarification regarding the lesson okay so I'll explain in a clear way let me know in the comment section after watching this video whether the explanation is understandable or not whether you have understood the lesson or not okay So how it feels to be colored me was written by Zora Nilly Hurststone. Okay. So the author name is Zora. Okay. We'll call it as a Zora.
Okay. So she is a very famous American writer. See here Zora Neilie Hurststone was born in 1891 and died in the year 1960.
Date of birth and date of death of the author compulsory. You need to remember ma there is no uh like uh you should not uh skip that. Okay. So she was an American writer, anthropologist, florist and documentary filmmaker. She's not just a writer, she's also a anthropologist, she is also a documentary filmmaker and folklorist.
Okay. Focist. Okay.
She was one of the leading writers of the Hurleim Renances, a cultural movement celebrating AfricanAmerican literature and art. So she's one of the leading writers of that literature art.
She grew up in uh she grew up in Ittoi, Florida, one of the first self-governing black towns in America. So it is one of the finest means first black towns in America. She was grew up at that uh place only. Okay. Her famous works include their eyes were watching God my mules and men and dust tracks on a road.
Okay. These are the famous writings of that. Okay. Famous books of her. Okay.
Her essay how it feels to be colored me was published in the year 1928. Okay. So this lesson is published means this book is published in the year 1928.
So minimum six to seven points you need to write about the author compulsory. So you need to remember her date of birth, date of death, where right, what is the books, what is famous for her everything you need to uh remember that. Okay. So I hope you have understood about the author. Okay. Now come back to the summary. What is this lesson is there.
Okay.
See here how it feels to be colored me is a personal essay in which Zora shares her experiences as a American Africanamean woman. So basically this lesson is a personalbased means realpaced essay. Okay. which happened in Zora's life. [snorts] She's having she's sharing her experiences as a Africanamean woman. Okay. So, how it feels to be there everything she will shares in this lesson. Okay. Her experiences she explains that she she does not see herself as a victim because of her race.
See what she's explaining means she should not she does not see herself as a victim card okay because of her race- because of her color okay instead she celebrates her identity with confidence and pride okay so whatever it might be she shares that with very confident her identity very confidently and with a pride also okay So Hursten Hursten is nothing about a author. So Hurstston begins by describing her childhood in Florida where almost everyone are around her was black. So here when she was grew up in the place Florida she was experiencing whatever the experience she was having she's sharing that she's describing that. Okay. So at that place where she grew up all were black only.
Okay. In that environment, she never felt different because of her skin color. She was s she was simple known as Zora. A cheerful and lively lively girl who enjoyed talking to visitors passing through the Oh town. So at the time when her neighbors everyone at that place everyone were black only and she's also not having that much clarity about this race and she was very well grew grown up woman and uh like she's Zora is just about a cheer girl lively girl where she's very happily enjoying their moments like that only everything changed when she moved to Jackson while to continue her education to pursue her education when she changed her place to Jack when she changed her place to Jackson while okay it is completely different it seems what is the difference there she was surrounded by people of different races different races is nothing about different colors of people for the first time she became aware that society consider a colored girl so at the first time she felt insect accurate that in the society a colored girl is only uh considered mean colored girl is nothing about a white girl. Okay, white color skin girl.
However, instead of feeling ashamed, she accepted her identity proudly. So instead of having that ashame or everything, she accepted her identity with very confidently and proudly. Okay.
Hust explains that she refuses to let racism control her life. She believes that every person should be judged by their character rather than by their skin color. So what is her intention?
Her intention is nothing about you need to judge the opposite person by seeing their character not by seeing the race of the person. Race is nothing about color of the skin. Okay. She explains everything. Okay. She refuses to let this racism control. Okay. She fights for her that thing. She says that although discrimination exist, she choose chosen not to live with sadness or self-pity friend. Okay. Self-pity.
Okay. So instead of doing all these things, she was decided only uh one thing that I should not leave my life with sadness. I will uh leave with confidently and proudly whatever I am having. Okay. So, one of the most memorable parts of the essay is her visit to Zaz Club with a white friend.
Okay. So, one of the most memorable parts in this lesson is one day she visits the Zaz Club with a white friend.
As the music plays, Hen feels deeply connected to her African heritage. The the music fills her with energy and excitement while her white friend remains calm and emotionally unaffected.
Here what happened? It is means when she visited the uh jazz club. Okay. Whenever the first music has been started when the music has been started Zora Zora is nothing about the author. author feels connected deeply to the African heritage, African culture but her friend is simply sitting as calm and emotionally unaffected. Okay. So this experience shows that people can react differently to the same event because of their different backgrounds and experiences. Yes or no? Everyone will not become emotional. Everyone not become as happy. Yes. So everyone is different. Yes. According to your different backgrounds and experiences, it is completely different. Okay. So she explains that the author explains that at the end of the essay, Hen uses the famous brown bag metaphor. Okay. She compares people to bags of different colors filled with various objects. If all the contents were empeted and mixed together, there would be almost the same. Through this comparison, she explains that although people may look different on the outside, they are diff essentially same as inside. So the essay as the essay as at the last she concludes with the brown bag. Brownback metaphor is nothing about a considering the people, comparing the people. Okay.
The essay ends with a powerful message of equality, selfrespect and confidence.
Okay. So, it is all about a confidence, self-respect and equality.
Hence encourages people to celebrate their individuality and reject feeling of inferior based on the race, color, height, weight, anything it might be.
Okay. So what she is having whatever you are having you need to proud you need to proud about yourself you need to confident about yourself everything.
Okay. So you are not leaving here for the society. Okay. You should celebrate your individuality. you need to uh like reject all your inferiority. Okay, she explains that she gives that last word statements. Okay, so what is the moral of this story? The essay teaches us proud to be of who we are. Okay, however we are, who we are, whatever we are having, we need to be proud with that.
Okay. A person's values depends on character, talent and humanity, not with color, not with skin color. Okay.
Equality, self-confidence and respect for others are essential for the better society. So this is about the moral of the story. Clear? So it is very easy story ma and uh how it feels to be colored me Zora hur. Okay. So you can write it if you can add few points as your own statements uh when you are writing in the final examination. Okay.
I hope that you have got a clarity.
Still if you having any further doubts do let me know in the comment section.
Definitely please do comment down in the comment section whether the explanation is understandable or not. whether you have understood this ex lesson or not do let me know in the comment section.
Okay. So this notes PDF is available in our telegram group for free of cost. All the very best. See you all the next video students. All the links I have mentioned in the description box. See you all in next video students. Bye-bye everyone. Hello students. Welcome back to our channel. So here in this video we are going to discuss about the complete lesson swan song. Okay. So, English semester to whoever is pursuing under Ismania University from this lesson.
Okay. Compulsory there will be a question for 12 marks in part B. So, even if you are having a zero knowledge also in this entire video I'll discuss about the full lesson. What are the story is there? What is about the author? Everything we will discuss in this video. So, don't skip the video and watch till the end. So this is my notes and which is available for free of cost in our telegram group. Okay. All the links I have mentioned in the description box. So English the lesson swam song. Okay. Was written by Anton Chika. Okay. The author of the lesson is Anon Chikau. So he was born in the year 1860 and he was died in the year 194.
Okay. Anton Chikau was a famous Russian playwright and story short story writer.
So he's one of the great famous Russian writer. Okay. And he is also a short story writer. He is regarded as one of the greatest writers in world literature. In entire world literature he is recognized as a one of the greatest writer. Okay. So just assume how much he's famous. His works focus on ordinary people, human emotions, loneliness and the realities of life.
Whatever the writings he was doing, no it is based on loneliness, people, human emotions. It is mostly based on that.
Okay. His famous plays include what are his famous uh short story writings is the cherry orchard, uncle Wana, three sisters and the seagull. Okay, these are the various famous writings of his that is Anton Chikaus. His writing style is simple, realistic and deeply psychological. Whatever the narration is using no it is easy to understand simple to understand it is realistic and deeply it will have the psychological impacts also so swan song is one of act play that explores fame aging loneliness and selfreflection so based on this lesson swan song it is one of the one act play it seems means only one person will be there in the whole uh story uh it explores about the fame and aging how we will grow from uh teenage to old age like that and loneliness and also a selfreflection okay this is about the story which covers all these parts okay so this is about the authorma minimum six to seven lines definitely you need to write in the examination compulsory about the author so date of birth date of death what is his famous writings and he's one of the greatest writer in world literature everything whatever the points I have mentioned no you need to mention in the examination answer now come back to the summary ma what is this summary swan song is a one act play about an old actor named vasilli seat low widow okay seat low widow okay I think I'm pronouncing it correct way if I'm pronouncing it wrong please don't mind so swan song is about the one act play only one person will be there in the story. So he is an old actor named Vaseli. Okay. We will we'll consider it as a Vaseli. Okay. So he is one of the oldest actor it seems. So we were discussing about his in the lesson who is 68 years old. So he is 68 years old.
After a special performance held in his honor, he accidentally falls asleep in his dreaming room after drinking too much. So he's 68 years old after finishing a special performance. So as a actor he finished one a special performance. Uh he accidentally uh slept it seems because he he was drinking too much. After drinking too much he just slept. Okay. is just slept in the dressing room. Okay. When he wakes when he wakes up the theater is completely empty and dark. So after getting a wake, so he was seeing just the theater is completely dark and empty. Okay. Feeling lonely and frightened, he walks onto the stage. So he felt very lonely and frightened. So this he walks onto the stage. The silence of the empty theater makes him think deeply about his life because just imagine you are in a theater where nobody is there just dark room how much silent it will be in that silence he makes it makes them it makes him to think deeply it seems although people had praised and appalled him earlier he now realizes that fame is temporary. So during his young age uh many of the people okay many of the audience will uh like praised him about his acting and uh applauded him like u everything he was done but what he realizes is it is just a temporary thing it is not permanent once the audience leaves he left the own alone with his meories okay so after uh getting appreciated by the audience after completing the drama or the acting they all will be uh left out after they were gone. He will be empty with his own memories only. No, he will be alone with his own memories. Nobody will be there.
Yes. So soon he meets Ivan the old theater prompter. So after he is meeting with the theater prompter and his name is Ivanic. Okay. who secretly lives in the theater because he has nowhere else to go. So finally he will meet that uh uh theater prompter. Okay. Where he will secretly leaves in the theater only because he is not having any home or not. So he was not having anywhere to go. So the author means the person one actor play person who is there what is his name? Here we are considered as a Vaselino. No. So Vaseli. Okay. So Wasi begins talking to Ivan about his past.
So uh in the theater only one person is there that is theater prompter. So this actor is there. No Wasi. So he was trying to talk with Ivan uh about his past about his old uh memories. So he remembers his successful acting career but also regrets the personal sacrifices he made for fame. So he was telling uh sharing the old past with the Ivanich and he was saying that he was discussing about his personal uh success in the during the young age but he has sacrificed her he has sacrificed his uh personal things. Okay. So here [clears throat] he recalls losing the woman he loved because she did not want to marry an actor. So he was sacrificed his personal things. No, one of the personal things is he he wants to marry her uh uh he wants to marry his uh favorite woman but that woman is not willing to marry an actor. So he was sacrificed that also this makes him to realize that society enjoys actors on stage but after fails to respect them in real life. So the audience means uh only the audience will be enjoyed. society will enjoy only the actors into the acting only not in the personal life. No, not in the real life.
No. Yes. So he was saying that only as they continue talking. Okay. As they continue talking uh the person who is the actor is there no Vaseli. Vasili starts performing famous speeches from Shakespeare's plays such as King Leair Hamlet and Otello. Okay. Here after continue talking with this uh person Vaseli he started the performing the famous speeches it seems like Harry Potter's play like that Shakespeare's plays like that okay through this performance he proves that despite his old age he still possess great talent and passion for acting he was very passionate about the acting even in his old age also he still possessed the great talent great work in the acting Okay. So he proves that after performing.
Okay. So after performing he becomes physically and emotionally exhausted.
Okay. Ivanich supports him has the prepare to leave the theater together.
So after discussing all this the person the actor is very uh exhausted in his uh mental and personal health emotionally and physically. So I evanged that is nothing about a theater promptteral. So he supports him as to we need to go from here uh from this theater together like that he was just consoling him. The play ends with the old actor accepting the reality of aging and understanding the understanding that fame and applause does not last forever. So after uh discussing all these things the actor finally understood the reality. So he accepted that uh reality of the aging if the person is aged the fireman everything will be uh temporary only.
Okay. It is does not last forever. He realized that the play teaches that while success and popularity and temporary true art dedication and selfrespect remain meaningful throughout life. Yes we all know about that. Okay.
So success and popularity everything is temporary only. But if you want a permanent uh thing respect in your life means you should be very uh dedicated and you should be very uh trust in this uh things everything it might be thing.
Okay. So this is about the play one act play. So what is the moral of this play?
What is the moral of this fan song? Fame and success are temporary but talent hard work and selfrespect are forever.
We should not accept we should not we should accept sorry we should accept our aging with dignity and value people for who they are not only for their achievements. Okay. So you should not admire the people for their achievements. You need to admire them with the dignity and value you are giving to them. Okay. So this is the moral of the story. So very uh uh like impactive lesson for this uh present generation. So nice moral it is having good moral it is having. Okay. So this is how you are having this swan song lesson clear. So I hope you have got the uh explanation of the story. Still if you're having any further doubts do let me know in the comment section. All the very best for your examination as well as your preparation. See you all in next video students. Bye-bye everyone. Hello students, welcome back to our channel.
So here in this video we are going to discuss about the lesson the romance of a busy broker. Okay. So basically English second semester the students who are pursuing undermania university there will be a compulsory question from this lesson for part B2 marks. So any question they might be asking from this lesson you need to write about the summary only what is there in the story.
Okay. So, the romance of a busy broker was written by O Henry. Okay. Compulsory you need to write about the author. Six to seven lines definitely you need to write about the author and whatever the thing I'm discussing in this video that will be more than enough uh to write in the examination. So from this notes you can write it in the examination. Okay.
This notes is freely available in our telegram group. So all the links I have mentioned in the description box. The romance of a busy broker was written by oh Henry. So Ho Henry what is about the author? Ho Henry was the pen name of William Sydney Porter. Okay. So it is a pen name of William Sydney Porter. Okay.
So he was born in the year 1862 and he was died in the year 1910 1910. Okay. So date of birth and date of death compulsory. You need to remember about the author ma. So ho henry is a pen name of the William Sydney Porter. This is definitely you need to remember. Okay.
So he is a famous American short story writer. So the author is a very famous American short story writer. He is very well known for his simple writing style, humor and unex unexpected endings. He was famous for his short story writings and whatever the writings he was done it will be very simple and easy to understand. Uh humor will be there and unexpected endings will be there. So for that he is becoming very famous. Uh despite facing many hardships he wrote more than 600 short stories. So even though he's having many uh hard uh uh sacrifices but still he wrote more than 600 short stories. His famous work include the gift of the Maggie and uh the left last leaf, the rams of red chief and the romance of a busy broker.
These are the famous works of oh Henry that is nothing about a William. His short stories often focus on ordinary people and end with surprising twists.
So whatever the work he was there no it is mainly focusing on the ordinary people and ending will be like having the surprising twists. Okay. So this is about the author compulsory you need to write about the author six to seven lines whatever the thing I have discussed now that you need to write it in the examination about the author. Now come back to the lesson. What is this lesson is there? The romance of a busy broker is a humorous short story that shows how excessive work can make a person forget even the most important events of life. So here in this story ma'am what he was uh discussing is nothing about uh if you are having the person with excessive work how you will forgot the important events of your life. Okay most important events. Okay.
So we were discussing about this humorous short story. Okay. This story is about Harvey Maxwell, a successful stock broker who is always bitsy with his of his work. So this story is about a person whose name is Harvey Maxwell.
So he is one of the successful stock broker who is always busy with his works it seems. Okay. Every day he is surrounded by customers, clerks, telephone calls and busy matters. So he was very busy with his work. So every day he will come like he will be busy with customers, clerks, everybody it will be. He was very hard schedule it will be there. His office is always crowded and he hardly has time to think about anything except work. So except work uh remaining except work remaining any other things it might be there. He was having the very hard time it seems.
His sufficient secretary, Miss Leslie, arrives at the office looking happier and more beautiful dressed than as than usual. Okay. So, he's having the secretary. So, he's uh and her name is Miss Lesley. Uh Lesie.
Okay. So, she's arriving at the office with happier face and more beautifully dressed as usual than usual. Everyday she will be normal but this day it is very uh beautifully dressed. Another clerk picture notices the change. So another clerk will be there now in the office. So he will notice that change during the day picture tells Maxwell that someone has come to apply for miss Leslie job because she may leave. So that person is there. You know clerk will explain clerk clerk will discuss this matter with Maxwell. So Maxwell is nothing about a stock broker who is very busy with his works. Okay. So that someone is came to get into the job of Miss Lesie because she need to leave.
Okay. She will uh go away from the office. It seems surprisingly Maxwell seems confused and says that Miss Lesie is an excellent employee and she should not be replaced. means the stock broker the person Maxwell is saying that surprisingly she's one of the uh like a good employee with the work she should not be replaced next surprisingly she will sorry he will tell Miss Leslie quietly continues her work without saying anything Maxwell remains completely busy until there is a short break in the office work so after saying this uh that Miss Leslie is There she wasite quietly continuing her work and Maxwell also is very busy with his work and after that he was getting a small time short break in the office work.
Okay. At that moment he completely uh at that moment he suddenly realizes that he loves Miss Leslie. Okay. At that short break of the moment he realizes that he will he is loving the Miss Leslie. It seems without wasting any time he rushes to her desk and passionately proposes marriage. Means Maxwell is there. No. So after getting without getting any late he rushes into her desk and asks about the marriage proposal. Okay. So he apologized for never expressing his feelings earlier because he's always been too busy with his work. So he will explain that also. I am very sorry that I was not explained. I was not expressed my feeling with you because I am very busy with my work. No, like that he will explain to the missesly. Miss Leslie smiles in surprise and gently gently reminds him that they were already married the previous evening at small church. Okay. So she was saying that surprise she was smiles in surprise and gently he she reminds him that they have already married in the yesterday's evening at small church. It seems Maxwell is shocked because he had became so absorbed in his work that he had completely forgotten his own wedding also. Okay, you're getting my point. So the miss Leslie only uh tells him that yesterday evening only we have got married in small church. So that Maxwell is suddenly surprised and he was very obsessed that he forgot his own wedding only. Okay. So the story ends with Ho Henry famous surprise ending. Through this humorous incident, the author shows how an unhealthy obsession with work can make people forgot even the happiest and most important moments of their lives.
See how much work it might be that if you are too obsessed with that your work, you will forgot your greatest uh events in your lives. Yes or no? He forgot Maxwell forgot his own wedding only which was done in yesterday's evening. Yes. So this is the surprising twist of the lesson. Okay. So the romance of a busy broker. Okay. It is interesting and easy story. No. So easy one and you can include your uh own way of phrasing the statements also. Ma so short story and you need to remember the name uh like Miss Lesie and Maxwell and also a clerk name. Okay. So everything you need to remember the names. So what is the moral of the story? Hard work is important but we should never become too busy that we ignore our family relationships and personal life. Even though how much work you will do, how much hard work you should do but you should not forgot your family relationships and your happy events in your life. Success has real meaning only when it is balanced with love and human relationships. Okay. So what the moral of the story is success is having the real meaning when you have balanced with your uh relationships love along with your work. Okay. So this is about the moral of the story. Very easy lesson simple lesson. Okay. From unit number four. Okay. For optional you can uh leave the another uh poem lesson and you can learn this the romance of a busy broker. Okay. So that's it about the lesson. I hope that you have understood.
Still if you're having any further doubts, if you have not understood this lesson, let me know in the comment section. This notes PDF is available in our telegram group. All the very best for your further examination. See you all in next video students. Bye-bye everyone. Hello students, welcome back to our channel. So here in this video we are going to discuss about the explanation of the lesson semester 2 English and Rasmani University. Lesson name is a world made by atoms. Most important lesson compulsory. There will be a question for 12 marks in part B in your English. If you are a BCOM, BBA, BAC, any stream under my university, English is a common subject for every stream. So unit number five, you are having this lesson. Okay. So even if you are having a zero knowledge also, I will try to explain this lesson in a easy way. Okay. So a world made by atoms was written by Marganet uh Cavendish. Okay, it is a author name.
Okay, so every question you need to write about the author. So Margan Cavendish, she's the author name. So she's very famous writer. So what you need to write about the author in six to seven lives mean as you're seeing on the screen. Malanade Cavendish was born in the year 1623 died in the year 1673 was an English poet philosopher scientist essist and playright so she is not just a English poet she's also a scientist philosopher essayist and playright compulsory right now she was one of the first women to publish books under her own name at a time when women writers are rarely ly recognize. Just assume in 1623 year to 1693 year in the rare cases means woman is not uh that much. It is very rare to come the woman everything like do that but at that time only she she is the first woman to publish her name on her own books. Okay, you need to mention this point also. Her idea uh she wrote about science, nature, philosophy and society. Her ideas were far ahead for her time and encouraged people to think scientifically about the world. Yes or no? So at her age only she was very encouraged by the people uh about the scientifically uh we need to know about the world and it is basically forced on the science nature and society like that a world made by atoms is one of her famous philosophical poems based on the idea that everything in the universe is made of tiny particles called at atoms. So tiny particles is nothing about we will call them as atoms. No in in our school days we learned about the atoms. So here it is nothing about what she's saying is even the universe is made of the tiny particles. Okay. So that's why it is calling as a a world made by atom. So compulsory you need to write about the author this all points must seven to six to seven points minimum. Okay. [snorts] So balconate caendish. So what is this lesson you are having? What is the summary you are having? See here a world made by atoms is a philosophical poem in which Marganet Cavendish explains that entire universe is made of tiny particles called atoms. Here in this lesson the author that is nothing about who is the author Margan Cavendish. What she is saying is this entire universe entire world is made of the tiny particles. What is mean by tiny particles? Atoms. Okay. She presents the idea that everything in nature from mountains and rivers to plants, animals and human beings, anything from the world, it is a plant or animal or a mountain, nature, water, human beings, anything it is formed by small particles. Okay. She was saying that it is all formed by the small particles only. Yes or no? If you think wisely means you will also understand. The poet says that atoms are always moving. They join together separate and rearrange themselves continuously. Yes or no?
Atoms first if to understand this lesson. No. First you need to understand about the atoms. Atoms is always moving.
First it will together then it will separate again it will be together rearranging. It will be continuous. It is processing only. Because of this movement, different objects are formed.
She compares atoms to bricks and stones used in a buildings a house. When you merge all the bricks in a correct way, you'll get a building. Yes or no? So just as bricks together to make a strong building, atoms can together to create all living and non-living things. Yes or no? If you are uh bringing together all the bricks and uh making a strong building same like that you are creating together all living and non-living things in the world in the entire universe. Cavendish Cavendish is nothing about the author. Cavendish explains that atoms have different shapes and sizes. These differences create the variety we see in nature. For example, atoms is not same. It will have the different shapes, different size everything. For example, water is soft and flowing while rocks are hard and solid because the atoms that make them are arranged differently because atoms is also having the different shapes and different sizes. The same like that water is soft and flowy whereas rocks are hard and solid like that. She compared her that with that. Okay. The poem also explains that world is not fixed forever. Okay. Everything will have an end. World is not having any fixed thing. Since atoms are always moving, everything in the universe keeps changing. Yes or no? Like for example, birth, growth, delay, destruction. This is all the natural process. Okay? It is a natural cause process caused by movement of atoms. She's saying that it is a natural process where you're getting because of the atoms. Okay? So towards the end of the poem means in the last stages of the poem the poet raises an interesting question she wonders whether the universe was created by chance or according to the planned design. Instead of giving a final answer she re leaves the reader to think deeply about the mystery of creation. It is a question to all of us. Okay because we all are reading it this uh story. No what is this end of this? She's giving an interesting question that it is it created any chance like randomly it is created or it is a planned design like that they're ask she's asking us okay just think twice uh uh once you think about this is it is a planned world or it is a randomly created by chance we have created means they have created something okay so this is about the an atoms made by uh things okay the [snorts] poem combines science and philosophy. It encourages readers to understand nature through observation, reason while appreciating the beauty and complexity of the universe. Okay. How small particles will be there with the with the help of air, how we will breathe with the help of water, how we can survive like that. It is having very observations relating to the beautiness of the nature universe and complexities of the universe universe also. Okay. So like this she will combines everything.
What is the moral of the poem we are having? Mah here. Moral of the poem is the poem teaches that everything in the universe is connected through nature.
Yes or no? Everything human beings non-living animals living animals everything is connected to the nature itself. Change is a natural part of life and understanding nature helps us understanding ourselves and the world around us. Okay. So this is about the moral of the story. Okay. Change is in the natural uh part of the life change is a very common thing. Okay. You you if you are understanding the nature you will understand yourself. Okay. When you understand nature you'll understand yourself. You'll understand the world.
Okay. you'll understand the people around you like that the poem is thing.
So a world made by atoms is a very uh important and unique poem where the author merges science and philosophy to understand the universe. Okay. Small particles is nothing about the atoms.
Clear? So easy lesson malgate cavendish.
You need to write about the author in a very detailed way. So this is all about the video.
about the lesson.
