Biblical grace is not merely God overlooking sin but a transformative power that fundamentally changes a person's heart and life; those who remain unchanged after claiming salvation have never received true grace. The majority of church-goers who rely on religious rituals, professions of faith, or comfortable religion without genuine transformation are walking toward eternal destruction, as Jesus warned that many are called but few are chosen. True salvation requires a new birth through sovereign grace, which produces visible evidence of transformation—hating what was once loved and loving what was once hated—rather than merely intellectual assent or religious performance.

CHEAP GRACE IS SENDING MILLIONS TO HELL | Jonathan EdwardsAdded:
You think grace means God overlooks your sin. But biblical grace transforms you.
If you are still the same person, you never received it. Those words should cut through your comfortable religiosity like a knife through warm butter. They should make your stomach turn. They should make you angry, [music] defensive, eager to close this video and return to the soothing voices that tell you everything is fine. But before you do, before you retreat back into the theological narcotic that has lulled your conscience to sleep, I ask you to consider this possibility. [music] What if the grace you have embraced is not the grace of the living God? What if the gospel you believe is a counterfeit so well-crafted that millions carry it to their graves only to discover in that final moment that they have been clutching fool's gold while the true treasure lay despised and rejected at their feet.
This is not a question of minor theological preference. This is a matter of eternal life and eternal death.
[music] And the voice that will shatter your illusions today is not mine, but that of Jonathan Edwards, the great preacher of the first great awakening.
A man who watched thousands weep under the weight of true conviction and who warned with trembling urgency [music] against the very thing that now infects the church like gang green. Cheap grace, easy belieism, a salvation that costs nothing.
changes nothing and saves no one. Let us turn to the word of God. For it is there that our false peace will be destroyed and the narrow path revealed. The Apostle Paul writes in the book of Titus.
Chapter 2:es 11-4.
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us that He might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Do you hear what the scripture says? Grace teaches. [music] Grace denies. Grace purifies. [music] Grace creates a peculiar people. A people set apart. A people zealous.
Burning with holy affection for the works that glorify God. This is not a grace that leaves you as you are. This is not a grace that whispers sweet nothings while you continue in your secret sins. [music] This is a grace that transforms, that breaks, that rebuilds, that makes all things new. If grace has truly appeared to you, you are not the same. [music] You cannot be the same.
The very nature of saving grace forbids it. [music] In the next 30 minutes, you will be confronted with a truth that the modern church has buried beneath a mountain of sentimentality and false assurance. You will hear the words of men who feared God more than they feared the disapproval of crowds. You will be forced to examine whether the grace you claim to possess is the biblical grace that transforms rebels into saints or the cheap substitute that sends millions to hell with a smile on their face and a praise song on their lips. [music] Like this video as a confession that you have been too comfortable in your religion.
Comment below, "Lord, break my false peace." as a declaration that you are willing to have your assurance tested by the word of God.
Share this warning with everyone who believes that saying a prayer 10 years ago guarantees them heaven, regardless of how they live today. Now we must confront the most dangerous place you can possibly be. [music] The crowd, the religious majority, the vast assembly of those who call Jesus Lord but have never bowed the knee to him as master. You see, there is something deeply wicked in the human heart that finds comfort in numbers if everyone around you believes the same thing, practices the same rituals, sings the same songs, and affirms the same doctrines.
Your conscience grows quiet. You assume that the majority cannot be wrong. You assume that if the pastor says you are saved, if your small group prays for you, if your Christian friends accept you, then surely God accepts you too.
But this is a satanic delusion. [music] This is the very lie that has filled hell with shocked religious people who thought their participation in the visible church guaranteed them a place in the invisible kingdom. Jesus Christ himself declared in the Gospel of Matthew chapter 22 verse 14 for many are called but few are chosen.
Many are called. Do you understand what that means? It means that the majority of those who hear the gospel, who sit under preaching, who are invited to the wedding feast, who respond with outward profession, are not chosen, they are not saved, [music] they are not transformed, they hear the call, they raise their hand, they walk an aisle, they get baptized, they join a church, and they [music] perish. The few are chosen. Not the many. Not the majority, [music] not the comfortable crowd that fills the mega church and nods along to sermons that never wound, never convict, [music] never threaten their self-righteousness, the few, the remnant, [music] the narrow gate walkers, the despised and rejected who would rather have Christ and nothing else than have everything else and lose Christ. [music] Consider the testimony of scripture. In the days of Noah, the entire world was filled with religious activity. They [music] married, they built, they planted, they celebrated, [music] and they all drowned. Every single one except eight souls. Eight out of million. [music] In the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, there were surely religious people. people who honored their gods, people who performed their rituals, and they all burned. In the days of the prophets, the temples were full, the sacrifices were offered, the feasts were celebrated, and God said through the prophet Isaiah in chapter 1:es 13- 15, "Bring no more vain oblations.
Insans [music] is an abomination unto me. The new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies I cannot away with. It is iniquity.
Even the solemn meeting, your new moons and your appointed [music] feasts, my soul hateth.
They are a trouble unto me. I am weary to bear them. And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you. Yay, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood. Do you hear the fury in those words? God despised their worship. He hated their assemblies. He refused to hear their prayers. Why? Because their religion was a performance. Their hearts were far from him.
They had the form of godliness but denied the power thereof. And when Jesus Christ walked the earth, who crucified him, the crowd, the religious majority, the very people who knew the scriptures, who attended synagogue, who tithed mint and cumin and held the law of Moses in their hands, they screamed for his blood while a pagan Roman governor washed his hands and declared him innocent. [music] The crowd is not your friend. The crowd is not a safe place. The crowd crucified the son of God and believed they were doing God a service. This brings us to the threshold of the most terrifying passage in all of scripture, the narrow gate and the narrow way. Jesus speaks in the Gospel of Matthew, [clears throat] chapter 7, verses 13 and 14. Enter ye in at the straight gate. For wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat. Because straight is the [music] gate, and narrow is the way, which leadth unto life, and few there be that find it. Stret, [music] narrow, few. These are not the words of a motivational speaker. [music] These are not the words of a man trying to build a large following. These are the words of the Son of God who knows the end from the beginning, who sees into every human heart, who will sit on the throne of judgment and separate the sheep from the goats. And he tells you plainly, "The gate is narrow, the way is hard, and few will find it." What does it mean that the gate is narrow? It means you cannot bring your pride through it. You cannot bring your self-righteousness through it. You cannot bring your reputation, your religious resume, your good works, your family heritage, your baptism certificate, [music] your church membership or your moral superiority through it.
You must come stripped. You must come broken. You must come as a beggar with nothing in your hands, nothing in your pockets, nothing to recommend you, nothing to boast of, nothing but your desperate need for a mercy you do not deserve. The gate is so narrow that your ego will not fit, your excuses will not fit, your comparisons to other sinners will not fit. [music] You must decrease until you are small enough to enter. And that decreasing is the destruction of everything you thought made you acceptable to God. And what is this narrow way that Jesus speaks of? It is the path that costs you everything. The broad road promises. The broad road offers you comfort. The narrow way offers you a cross. The broad road offers you the approval of men. The narrow way offers you their mockery and rejection. The broad road lets you keep your secret sins, your hidden idols, your respectable vices. The narrow way demands that you cut off your right hand and pluck out your right eye if they cause [music] you to stumble. The broad road is paved with the praise of pastors who tell you that you are fine just as you are. The narrow way is walked in the company of prophets who tell you that unless you repent, you will likewise perish. The broad road is crowded with people who look like you, talk like you, sin [snorts] like you, and assure you that God grades on a curve. The narrow way is lonely. [music] It is often walked alone. It is the way of those who have been made alive by sovereign grace and can no longer find satisfaction in the things that once filled their hearts. Jonathan Edwards preached a sermon entitled the justice of God in the damnation of sinners. And in [music] it, he confronted his congregation with a truth that the modern church has completely abandoned.
>> [music] >> He said that God owes you nothing, not mercy, not salvation, not a second chance, not a kind thought.
You are a rebel. You are a traitor. You have sinned against infinite holiness with finite understanding.
And the just penalty is infinite wroth.
And if God chose to send every single human being to hell forever, he would be perfectly just, perfectly righteous, and perfectly glorified in doing so. The question is not, why does God condemn so many? [music] The question is, why does God save anyone at all? Turn with me to the book of Romans, chapter 9, [music] verses 19- 21. Thou wilt say then unto me, why do he yet find fault? [music] For who hath resisted his will? Nay, but oh man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it? Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay of the same lump to make one vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor? Paul anticipates your objection. You want to argue with God.
You want to defend your rights. You want to claim that you deserve a chance, that you deserve fairness, that you deserve to be treated the same as everyone else. And God responds with a question that silences every mouth.
Who are you or man? To answer back to God, you are the clay. [music] He is the potter. He forms you according to his will for his glory. And you have no right, no claim, no standing to question him. [music] This is the doctrine of sovereign election. And it is the most terrifying truth to the hypocrite and the most comforting truth to the believer. If salvation depends on your choice, your willpower, your decision, then you are [music] lost because your will is enslaved to sin.
Your heart is desperately wicked.
[music] Your mind is hostile to God. You will never choose him unless he first chooses you, draws you, regenerates you, and gives you a new heart that loves what it once hated. But if salvation depends on God's choice, God's will, God's sovereign grace, then there is hope. Because God does not change his mind. God does not fail in his purposes.
Whom he predestines, he calls. Whom he calls, he justifies.
Whom he justifies, he glorifies.
and nothing. Not tribulation, not distress, not persecution, not famine, [music] not nakedness, not peril, not sword, not [music] death, not life, not angels, not principalities, not powers, not things present, not things to come, not height, not depth, Not any other creature shall be able to separate those chosen ones from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. But here is the horror that you must face. You may be sitting in a church. You may be singing the hymns.
You may be raising your hands in worship. You may be serving in the nursery, teaching a Bible study, even preaching from a pulpit. And you may not be chosen. You may be a vessel of wrath prepared for destruction. And the most tragic part is that you will not know it until the door is shut. In the book of Genesis, chapter [music] 7 verse 16, we are told that after Noah and his family entered the ark, the Lord shut him in. Not Noah.
The Lord, God himself, closed the door.
And once that door was closed, it was too late. The rain began to fall. The floods began to rise. [music] And those who had mocked Noah, those who had ignored his warnings, those who had continued in their eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage began to pound on the outside of that ark. They screamed. They begged. [music] They pleaded, but the door was shut and no human hand could open it. This is a picture of the final separation. There is coming a day when the door of mercy [music] will close. When probation will end, when the offer of grace will be withdrawn, and on that day, [music] it will not matter how loudly you call on the name of the Lord. It will not matter how many tears you cry. The door will be shut and you will be on the wrong side of it. Jesus describes this moment in the Gospel of Matthew chapter 7:es 22 and 23. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils and in thy name done many wonderful works. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you. Depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Look closely at who is being rejected. Not atheists, not pagans, not those who openly mocked God, but people who called him Lord, people who prophesied in his name, [music] people who cast out demons in his name, people who did many wonderful works in his name. These were ministers. These were miracle workers. These were people who had all the external credentials of authentic Christianity.
And Jesus says to them, "I never knew you. Not I used to know you and you fell away. Not I knew you once but you disappointed me. I never knew you. You were never mine. Your works were done in your own strength for your own glory to build your own kingdom. And now depart from me. You worker of iniquity. There is no purgatory. There is no second chance. There is no negotiation after death. Hebrews chapter 9 verse 27 declares, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this [music] the judgment, once you die once, and then comes judgment." Not another opportunity, not a thousand-year probation, not a chance to make it right. Judgment, finale, irreversibly, eternal. If you die in your sins, having never been truly born again, you will spend eternity in hell. And hell is not a temporary timeout. It is not a place where you eventually learn your lesson and graduate to something better. It is the place where the worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched. It is the place of weeping and nashing of teeth.
[music] It is the place where the smoke of torment ascends forever and ever. And there is no rest day or night. [music] Forever means forever. It means 10,000 years from now. You will have an eternity still ahead of you. It means a billion years from now. You will be no closer to the end than you were the moment you arrived. [music] This is the wage of sin. This is the penalty of rebellion against an infinitely holy God. And cheap grace cannot save you from it. Because cheap grace is not grace at all. It is a lie from the pit of hell designed to send you there with a false confidence. Cheap grace says just believe in Jesus and you are saved regardless of whether your life changes.
[music] Cheap grace says you are only human. God understands. [music] He does not expect perfection. Cheap grace says once saved, always saved.
Even if you go back to living like the devil, cheap grace asks nothing, costs nothing, changes nothing, and accomplishes nothing except the damnation of your soul. True grace, biblical grace, saving grace is the most expensive thing in the universe. It cost God his son. It cost Jesus his life. It cost the Holy Spirit [music] his ongoing work of conviction, regeneration, sanctification, and preservation.
and it will cost you everything you are holding on to that is not Christ. The prophet Ezekiel speaking the very words of God in chapter 36 verses 26 and 27 declares this promise. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you, and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh, and I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments and do them. This is the work of sovereign grace. God removes the heart of stone. God gives the heart of flesh.
God puts his spirit within you. God causes you to walk in his statutes. You do not cause yourself to walk. You do not remove your own heart of stone. You do not manufacture a new spirit within yourself. You are spiritually dead.
[music] You are a corpse in a grave, rotting and stinking and utterly incapable of resurrecting yourself. And then God speaks and life floods into your dead soul and you rise [music] and you see and you love what you once hated and you hate what you once loved [music] and you follow Christ not because you have to but because you want to because he has made you a new creation. Old things have passed away.
Behold, all things have become new. Jonathan Edwards in his sermon, A divine and supernatural light, [music] described this transformation as something that no human effort, no religious ritual, no intellectual study could ever produce. He said that a man may know that honey is sweet because someone told him it is sweet, [music] but until he tastes it for himself, he does not truly know. He has notional knowledge.
He has secondhand information, but he does not have experiential reality. And so it is with the things of God. You may know all the right doctrines.
You may be able to recite the sinner's prayer. You may understand the theology of the cross, the substitutionary atonement, the doctrine of justification by faith. But until the Holy Spirit opens your eyes and gives you a taste of the living God, you do not know him, [music] you know about him. And knowing about God will not save you any more than knowing about a doctor will cure your cancer. This is why all the checklists fail. This is why all the formulas fall short. This is why you cannot work your way into the kingdom by praying a certain prayer, attending a certain number of services, giving a certain amount of money, or behaving a certain way for a certain period of time. Salvation is not a transaction you perform. It is a miracle God performs.
You cannot earn it. You cannot manipulate it. [music] You cannot control it. You can only receive it and even your receiving is a gift because faith itself is granted to you by the sovereign will of God. Ephesians chapter 2 verses 8 and 9. For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves.
It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. Even your faith is not of yourselves. [music] It is the gift of God. So that when you stand before the throne, you will have nothing to boast of [music] except the grace that saved a wretch like you. And this brings us to the edge of the cliff.
This moment, right now, may be the last time the Holy Spirit ever convicts your heart. You have heard warnings before.
You have felt uneasy before. You have wondered [music] if your profession of faith was genuine and you pushed it down. You silenced the voice. You returned to your comfortable religion and assured yourself that everything was fine. But what if it is not fine? What if you are one of the many who are called but not chosen? What if you are one of the foolish virgins who had lamps but no oil? What if you are one of those who will stand before Christ and hear the words, "Depart from me. I never knew you. The door is turning." [music] Can you hear it? The hinges are creaking. The opportunity is closing. [music] And you must decide right now in this moment whether you will continue in your cheap grace or flee to the true gospel that transforms.
[music] You cannot serve two masters. You cannot have Christ and your sin. You cannot walk the broad road with the crowd and expect to end up where the narrow way leads. [music] You must choose. And if you do not choose Christ, you have chosen hell.
There is no neutral ground. There is no middle path. There is no safe place of indecision. You are either being saved [music] or you are perishing. You are either alive in Christ or dead in your sins. You are either a sheep or a goat.
[music] And the great shepherd knows which one you are. Even if you have deceived yourself. So [music] what must you do? You must stop trusting in your own righteousness. You must stop comparing yourself to other sinners and feeling superior because you are not as bad and as they are. You must stop believing that your church attendance, your baptism, your moral behavior, or your religious heritage will save you.
You must see yourself as God sees you.
[music] Arl atttor, a guilty criminal standing before a holy judge with no defense, no excuse, and no hope except the mercy of that judge. And you must cast yourself entirely on the grace of God in Jesus Christ. [music] Not on grace plus your efforts. Not on grace plus your sincerity.
Not on grace plus your reformation.
On grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. And how will you know if that grace has truly taken hold of you?
You will know because you will be different. Not perfect, but different.
The things you once loved, you will begin to hate. The things you once hated, [music] you will begin to love.
The Bible will become sweet to your taste. Prayer will become the breath of your soul. The people of God will become your family. The world will lose its appeal. Sin [music] will lose its pleasure. And Christ will become your greatest treasure. Not because you worked up these feelings, but because God gave you a new heart, a heart of flesh that beats for him. If you have heard this message and your heart is hard, if you are angry, if you are offended, if you want to argue and defend yourself, I beg you to consider that your reaction may be the very proof that you are still dead in your sins. A corpse does not argue. A corpse does not defend itself. A corpse does not feel insulted. But a proud, self-righteous religious hypocrite does. And that pride will drag you to hell unless God breaks it. But if you have heard this message and you are [music] broken, if you are terrified, if you see your sin for the first time in all its ugliness, if you have no hope in yourself and you are crying out for the mercy of God, then I tell you this, that cry is the work of the Holy Spirit. That conviction is the gift of grace. And the same God who has shown you your need is able to meet that need. Flee to Christ. Flee now, not to a formula, not to a prayer you repeat, but to the living Savior who died for sinners and rose again to give them life. Fall on your face before him.
Confess your rebellion. Acknowledge your utter helplessness and beg him to save you. And I promise you on the authority of scripture that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord in true repentance and faith will be saved. Subscribe to this channel now if you are ready to have your comfortable religion shattered by the word of God. Comment below.
Lord, break my false peace. As a public act of rejecting cheap grace and crying out for the transforming power of the Holy Spirit, share this warning with everyone you know who is trusting in a prayer they prayed, a decision they made, or a baptism they received. While their life shows no evidence of the new birth, [music] the door is turning.
