Five profitable online income opportunities that are less commonly discussed include: (1) building personal websites for short-term rental owners to eliminate platform fees, (2) Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) for AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT, (3) setting up AI agents for businesses, (4) lead generation rental businesses (rank and rent), and (5) Airbnb property management services. These opportunities leverage current technological trends and market gaps, with the key insight being that success often comes from identifying emerging opportunities early and providing specialized services that businesses need but cannot easily develop themselves.

5 Ways to Make Money Online No One Else Will Tell You About (2026)Added:
Here are five of the top ways to make money in 2026 that most people aren't trying for a lot of different reasons.
And I'd like to add that number five, one of my close personal friends is using right now to make multiple six figures every year, and he basically spends his days playing pickleball.
Number one is building websites for short-term rental owners. And the reason for this is that if you've ever owned an Airbnb or rented an Airbnb, you know that there is a lot of fees. And the Airbnb owner usually loses about 15% of their income in fees, or at least the owner and the guest combined to do. Now, this all makes sense to the owner if Airbnb or whatever website it is is actually sending leads to the owner. But a lot of times, that's not the case. A great example is if an Airbnb owner starts to get a lot of returning guests.
If you've got a really nice Airbnb, people will come one year and then they want to come back the next year and bring their family. And people that live close might come every year and build a family tradition around an Airbnb. And you'll start to find that half of your guests now are returning visitors that already found you years ago and know exactly what they want to book. That means that these owners are losing three, five, up to 10,000 dollars every single year in fees to Airbnb for guests that Airbnb didn't necessarily give them. So, the reason I love this hustle is it's very easy to do. It's very easy to get clients. The right person, it's an easy sell. And you're not going to have to know a lot cuz there are websites like Lodgify, as you can see right here, that basically have templates and everything all set up in place. And so, you would just have to get a client, set them up in Lodgify.
The site takes you less than an hour to build and get set up once you have all the pictures. And now these Airbnb owners can give guests, when they first come to their house, some kind of card or something that you can help them get set up with so that those guests can now book on their personal [music] website moving forward, and they no longer have to pay those fees to these websites. And like I said, it's not hard to get clients for this. If it's the right owner and the right Airbnb, all you've got to do is head to a myriad of these Airbnb Facebook groups, where there's tons of these short-term rental owners sitting there and tons of them having this exact problem. And you can make offers and make connections and talk about this multiple times inside these groups with some posts, and you'll find people flock to you naturally as you build up and talk inside of these groups about this.
Number two is a generative generative engine optimization manager or specialist or whatever cute words you want to put at the end. But essentially, this is a varied form of SEO. So, most of us have heard at this point that there are companies for years that have been out there helping businesses [music] rank in Google, and the businesses make more money when they do so. And a lot of people think that AI just [music] Google's things or that it's basically the same thing, but it's completely different. Showing up and getting referrals from AI is a totally different ballgame. The way that [music] AI decides who it's going to refer people that ask questions to is just so completely different than the way that Google does it, where Google is so heavily focused on keywords and things like that. And AI just isn't like that.
So, this is one of the biggest opportunities you'll probably find out there right now cuz there's this huge transition. And if I look back at the last 10 years at at [music] the different successes that I've had and the different failures that I've had, all of my successes have came because I hit something at [music] the right time, because I hit something at the very beginning. I was one of the first people to discover it and use it and run [music] with it. And this this GEO is very very similar. It's huge. The opportunity [music] is ginormous right now, right? There's millions, billions of people switching over from Google to AI, and there's all these businesses that don't really understand how to get AI to refer their products. When I head over to ChatGPT and I say, "Hey, I'm looking for a good pair of running shoes that does this, right?" How do we have ChatGPT show our pair of running shoes or show something that we're selling in that situation? [music] And it's so different than Google, but also so lucrative if you can figure it out and help a business. So, there's plenty of training out there if you spend some time searching on teaching you so that you can master this, and then you can approach virtually [music] any business and say, "Hey, I know for the last 10 years it's been all about SEO, and you've been getting sold on SEO, but guess what? It's moving away from that.
Get ahead of it. Be a GEO person. Be able to rank in AI as people start switching and using AI." And watch all these businesses just hand you their money.
And here we are now at number three.
This is actually probably one that kind of has gone viral and it's had its day on on Tik Tok, but because the opportunity is just so big, we're going to talk about it. Setting up AI agents for companies. So, if you're not familiar with what this is, we all know there's ChatGPT, there's these these AI companies where you can go and you can essentially treat it like Google. You can ask it for things and it will respond to you and give you all this information and it's awesome. But, the next level of this is AI agents and that's where not only can we ask these AI questions, but we can actually tell these AIs to go do things. We can send it a message before we go to bed and we can wake up and there's everything ready and waiting for us. And you can imagine as a business owner just how crazy this could be for you. You've got this huge project, you're able to unload most of it on the AI, and then you're able to go to bed and wake up the next morning and it's sitting there with a nice report ready, loaded up and ready to go. Now, here is the problem. We've got these businesses, these business owners, they know it, they're hearing about it, they're hearing about these AI agents and how crazy they are. Then they're heading over to kind of these prime ones like Open Claw and they're so hard. It took me hours and hours and hours to figure out and get a good Open Claw AI agent set up and running and I still have struggles with it. To do it right, you probably need to get a virtual computer or some other computer to set it up on. You've got to get it all coded right, you've got to give it access to things, you've got to train it right so that it knows who it is and how and how it's supposed to actually go about operating. You've got to set up safety measures to make sure it doesn't do something crazy like send all your money from your bank account to some random person in Saudi Arabia. There's just a lot that goes into it and it's beyond overwhelming for these business owners who know they need it, but also know that they're never going to find 10 hours in the day to just sit down, learn this, and especially some of the previous generation who was just now maybe starting to catch up to some of the stuff that was going on before AI.
It keeps offering me cookies. Like I just received an email from the Bank of Europe asking me to reconfirm my credit card details. So, I'm just putting them in here now.
>> So, they know it's there, they know the opportunity is big and that creates an opportunity for you, a big opportunity because every single business in the next 5 or 10 years is going to need to succeed some form of AI agent. And what they're charging right now is mind-boggling. The The average price that I'm seeing online is between four and six thousand dollars to set up one AI agent. And the reason for that is these businesses can make a ton of money. They can make that back in a month or two. And that means that every month or two that they delay, they're losing that much money. And a lot of them, the smart ones, are fully aware of that fact. So, if you can come in, help them to see that value, then the number 5,000 does not seem that crazy to them.
Now, I wanted to learn for the sake of this channel, but I would have gladly paid someone that money because it was really stressful, and it was honestly very complicated and gave me a few headaches along the journey. Just like the previous ones, this would be an easy sale. You reach out to local businesses through phone, lead forms, Facebook groups. You say, "Hey, I just spent the last two months figuring out OpenClaw. I know everything about it. I've set up a few. I can do it reliably." And you're going to see a lot of people begging you to take them on.
Ooh wee, are we already at number four?
Let's talk number four. One I've actually done before myself, and it's just become so much easier with AI that it's kind of a a renewed opportunity.
And that's a lead gen rental business.
Now, when I was younger, it was known as rank and rent. Now, essentially what you're going to do, and we're going to show you a few examples here, is you're going to create websites that look very similar to this one right here. And this is a roofing example. Now, what happens is when people in this specific area, specific city or small part of a city, search something in Google, Google gives them a list, right? You can see right here, this big list of things, of places and companies that they can go with.
Now, some of those companies are actual companies that do that, right? Roofers R Us or whatever it is. But also, in most searches, there's going to be a few of those that are sites like this one right here. And I can't say for sure that that this is what that site is, but it kind of looks like one. And these are sites that create kind of generic sites, right? Utah roofers, or I live in a city called American Fork, American Fork roofers, Utah HVAC Pros, right?
Something like that. And what you do is you'll create a website like this. Now, this website can be created by AI or in any kind of website builder like GoHighLevel in less than an hour. Very generic website using a template. Next, you're going to spend a few months ranking this website. [music] Now, I'll pause and I'll say, you just said a few months ranking this website. Yes, you're not going to make money for a few months, but the [music] beauty of this is once we get it set up, you'll probably make money without doing any work for the next few months. Kind of like you put in the time commitment up front and then you have some really awesome wins on the back side. Anyway, once you spend the time ranking and I'm [music] not going to I'm not going to teach that in this video, but there's a ton a ton of training now [music] on how to use AI to quickly rank local websites. You'll talk to chat GPT, you'll look at YouTube videos about ranking local websites [music] with AI and you'll get that website ranked. Now, you can go to the actual roofers, right?
We can head to the the real roofers that have real roofing companies. These guys love leads, they need leads, they need people every day, right? The only way their company survives is if people are constantly calling and giving them So, you say, "Hey, my website's ranking third when people type in roofers in Utah. I'm the third one. Now, I'm happy to send everybody to you that tells me that they're looking for roofers. I'm happy to put your phone number on my website or however you want to work this. The easiest one for me has always been just put a phone number on the website, but you can work it that way or you can sell them by lead. You can be the one to take the lead in, things like that. Depends on how you want to go about it, but you say these are all your leads. All you got to do is pay me some kind of fee for that. And that might sound crazy, but these roofers are making multi-thousand dollars on each project. It's not crazy to them. Once your website ranks, it will be easy as pie to go out there, hit up everybody in that industry, say, "Hey, I'm number three in this ranking. Who wants it?"
You could start a bidding war, you can do it however you want, but there's money to be made if you're showing up in Google. And I know we talked about people moving over to AI. This is a part of Google I don't see going away anytime soon. This ranking in maps and this ranking in the local near me, they want to look at reviews, they want to they want to look at that nice way that Google Maps formats it and look through people and look on a map and and there's really no way that Google does it that AI isn't [music] quite there.
All right, number five, as promised, no drum rolls necessary and you're going to think I'm crazy, but we'll show you some numbers here. It's simply being an Airbnb manager, a property manager. And before you turn off and run, let's just look at these numbers so you understand why this makes sense. Most property managers are charging somewhere between 15 and 20% to operate a property. Now, the average Airbnb probably making, you know, depending on how big it is and where it's at, anywhere from $30,000 to $100,000 every year. That means a property manager is probably making anywhere from $4,500 to $20,000 off of one property each year. Now, I would imagine a lot of people are watching this video totally happy if they could make an extra thousand dollars per month, right? That would be great. An extra thousand dollars per month would cover pretty much every hole we're in or whatever bills we're having problems paying right now. That would mean you need one client. And while a lot of things require you to get five, 10, 15 clients to really succeed, let's talk about how much work an actual client is.
You're in charge of coordinating with all the cleaners each time there's a guest coming in and out, right? You got to make sure it's clean. You're in charge of communicating with the guest, letting them know as soon as they check in, letting them know check out instructions. You're in charge of dealing with issues, making sure that the door codes are there. All that stuff is you. But 90% of the things that just came out of my mouth can be done automatically with really good software.
All the messaging that doesn't have to deal with a unique issue can be done automatically. The welcome messages, the checkout messages, the door codes, the cleaner coordination, all of that is done one time, set up on software, and then you just have to tweak things as as time moves on. This means you can be making $10,000 a month on a single client and you can be working probably less than a few hours just dealing with a few issues as they arise. Now, like all of these, there's a little bit of work up front. You need to find good cleaners. You need to learn how to do these softwares. You're going to need to set them up properly. Make sure that you have good welcome messages, a good welcome book, all that stuff. But you [music] can keep these people for years and years and years as long as this Airbnb is functioning, right? People don't jump in and out of Airbnbs super often. And you keep them happy and that little upfront work that you're doing can result in years and years of somewhat passive income. And again, we talked earlier about this. The best way to market this is simply in Facebook.
All of these Airbnb owners, thousands and thousands, hundreds of thousands of them are congregating in Facebook groups [music] right now having all kinds of conversations about the issues that they're hitting and the problems that they're having and questions and things like that. And you become active user in that group, an active member, someone whose name people say, "Hey, Spencer's know dealt with that before. Talk to him. He can help you." You just become a helpful person in that group and you'll find people are just asking you to run their properties kind of right and left.
Give away value for free and and watch the return just magnify. And that's all we got for today, folks. Pick one, run with it, 3 months, come back, let me know how you do.
