Governments borrow money to fund infrastructure projects like roads, railways, hospitals, and schools that create future economic growth, similar to how businesses borrow to build income-generating factories; the key distinction is that good debt creates future growth while bad debt creates future problems, so borrowing itself is not inherently negative but rather the misuse of borrowed funds that causes issues.

Why Does The Government Borrow Money?🤔 If debt is bad, why do governments borrow?本站添加:
Why does the government borrow money?
Let's understand this. If that is bad, then why do government borrow? Imagine you take a loan to buy a video game.
Not a great thing, right? No one would like that. Your parents. So, now imagine you take a loan to build a factory. The factory that creates income for you.
Government thinks similarly. They may borrow to build roads, railways, hospitals, schools, or some more other infrastructure or anything that is good for the country.
The question is not did they borrow?
The question here is what did they borrow the money for?
So, good debt can create future growth.
The same is with businesses. Bad debt creates future problems. Borrowing itself is not the enemy. Misusing the borrowed money is. Like many countries are doing it. They misuse the money they borrow from other countries. Follow for daily economics in plain English. Share this with someone who thinks all debts are bad.
