We have only one activity inside Karachi and that is eating.
[Music] Whether it's in the morning, in the evening, or at night.
Starting with a small restaurant in 2015, Foods Inn has become a popular name in Karachi. I have a long association with the restaurant industry.
Foods Inn was basically started in 2015. We had the blessings of our parents. There was also hard work coming from a legacy.
Food Panda offered good food and on-time delivery orders, while Food Jinn responded with a request for business, and the two joined hands again.
With Food Panda, we were on board from day one. If there is good food on time then Alhamdulillah we have fulfilled their requirement. Then your requirement from the other end was that friend, I want business.
What is the secret of food's success?
How the journey of a small restaurant reached a modern restaurant. [Music] We started Food Jinn in 2015.
Actually, before that, we had a small restaurant opposite this place called VIP Restaurant. Then Allah Taala gave us this opportunity in 2015. Our grandfather, our father, was in this business since 1999. After 2007, the elder brothers joined this industry.
I personally joined Isko Foods full time in 2017. It is a proud achievement to be ranked in the Triple A category along with the joints of the industry and especially being the single branch presence of this brand in Karachi and there is only a single branch restaurant and if you look normally in that category then there are either multi branch restaurants or normally there are international chains so obviously it is a very proud achievement and the credit goes to the entire team, we built separate teams. That means there is a separate delivery team. Whether it is in terms of your kitchen or order dispatching. There is a separate dining team. Be it in the kitchen or in providing service at the front end.
One, the right people invested in the right people. Then invested in Right Technology.
Because there are obviously two ways to run such a big operation.
Either you stand and walk in live operations. Or the second option is that you run it while monitoring the data.
So we invested in technology, Alhamdulillah. I worked very hard on my data and with that I control all these things. With Food Panda, we were on board from day one.
Our elder brother is Yusuf Bhai. Mainly operations were initially exactly what Holy Soli looked after. Now I am involved with them to some extent. So, it was a very good decision of his on the first day that he started deliveries from the very first day.
So Alhamdulillah, the delivery started from the first day.
We understood what he said.
He understood what we said. Their demand is obviously always that your operational KPIs should be strong. If your operational KPIs are stuck, all they expect from you is that the food should be good and on time. So, Alhamdulillah, we fulfilled his requirement.
Then from the other end your requirement is that friend, I want business. Food Panda has completed it over time and day by day, Alhamdulillah, there is growth in it.
Some people prefer to sit outdoors.
As you know, the evenings in Karachi are great for outdoor activities.
We all naturally like big.
So Alhamdulillah, here we have outdoor space for 300 plus people and indoor space also for 300 plus people.
And along with that, Alhamdulillah, we have five private dining rooms. There are some people who want to dine privately with their family behind a curtain or by avoiding noise.
So Alhamdulillah, we have that facility too.
Inshallah in near future we definitely plan to have second branch either inside the city or outside the city if Allah wills we will see about that.
But at present there is no plan to expand this branch. If Allah wills, I intend to go towards the other branch, Inshallah.
As far as we have seen the market. Have also seen the market of Lahore. I have also looked at my market.
And obviously it is your city with other people too.
You listen to their opinion too.
So Karachi has the upper hand in terms of quality.
Karachi's game is very high in quality and variety. Lahore will still have to do a lot of work in this regard. Above all your intentions should be clear. Sometimes difficulties will arise. Your approach should be clear, your vision should be clear that you have to do good, you have to clean. Then whatever happens, Allah opens the way.
All the stakeholders of What I Feel Success Is About should be happy.
Be it your customer, be it your employee or be it your vendor. Everyone should be happy. There should be convenience for everyone.
Health above all, health should be preferred to whatever is there.
Exercise should not be preferred.
