Find 1st, 2nd, 3rd Highest Salary with RANK Function #shortsHinzugefügt:
This is the data, salary employees' data, according to descending order of salaries. Now, from here, I want to select first highest salary.
If I provided one, if the ranking is equal to one, first highest salary. If the rank is equal to two, second highest salary. If the rank is equal to three, third highest salary. Rank is equal to four, fourth highest salary. If you want first highest salary, then select the row where the rank is one, first highest salary I will get. If I want second highest salary, select the row where the rank is two, then the second highest salary I will get. But here, one special function I used, rank function. Rank function will give a number, a unique number for every row, starts from one. 1 2 3 4, this is nothing but rank.
