Last 3 Drops To Complete This Plant Load ๐ชดAdded:
Good morning everybody. We are here at the Pixar. It was kind of like a blind offset back yesterday. Kind of like went up there towards that truck and then backed it in like this. Uh only has four spots here, but when I got here it was two spots available. So break and >> and right now we are about 16 miles away as you guys can see to the delivery 30 minutes. So we're going to get started here in a moment after I have my breakfast and uh yeah, see you guys when we get to that Walmart in Spencer, Iowa.
All right. Most of you ask me how much this load paid. Well, there it is.
$5,255.82.
Uh fuel for this load was $1,175.72.
That is the reason why you saw me fill up. I usually don't really fill up unless the load is giving me a lot of money and is a long run. But for instance, this one was a long run. So I filled up twice. Uh topped everything off twice. Uh empty miles was 278 from the house. Dead head. uh loaded miles was 1983, which brought the total miles to 2345 miles. Um, so that equal about 224 mile, which isn't too terrible out of Florida.
I know Prime probably got a lot of money for this load. I only got 72% or whatever they got. So, I'll say they probably got like N grand on this load, maybe somewhere close to that range, but I only got $5,255.82.
That's what went to me, which isn't too bad. Like I said, out of Florida.
>> All right, we just got to Spencer, ladies and gentlemen. It's right here on the right.
>> Turn right on 13th Street Southwest.
Then turn right.
>> He's behind me. Swing out wide here.
And then we're going to swing in again.
And then we just have to back it up by the curb. So >> trying to figure out what's the easiest way to do this.
approaching 511 Street Southwest.
>> Um, I think I'll just spin around here and then we'll back it in against the curb there cuz that's where we're going to get unloaded anyway.
one mile ahead. Turn right, then turn left.
>> What I'll do is just park here this way in front of the trailer so I'm not blocking anything. Nobody's going to get angry.
That's what we'll do.
It's actually perfect right there.
>> Turn left on 13th Street Southwest. Just back it up and turn left.
>> There we go.
should be fine.
All right. And then um Storm Lake, Iowa is only 35 miles from here, so that's perfect. So, we'll go there next.
>> Oh, do that. Okay.
>> Then it looks like you need a pallet that >> Yeah. Yeah. with a forklift. Is that okay?
Okay, I'll back up. Thank you.
All right, so I got to back up by the gate. Some places don't mind if you bark out of the way. Oh, she put um Okay, she put a cone.
All right, she's lifting up the pallet jack already inside.
I think she already did.
Thank you.
Oh no, got wet.
Dang, it got wet.
>> It just got wet from the pallet jug. I think >> it'll be fine.
>> Thank you.
>> No, that's for you. I'm sorry.
>> Great.
I don't want to.
There we go. Got to put some weight on it.
Heat.
Heat.
Oh, we're getting good, boys.
Definitely getting good now.
Getting good.
That's the end. On to the next one will be Storm Lake, Iowa. Heat.
Heat.
Two more stops, guys. Two more stops and we'll be done.
Thank you.
>> Have a good day.
>> No, I already got a stamp from the customer service. So, thank you so much.
Have a good day.
All right.
All right. See you guys when we get to Storm Lake, Iowa. Storm Lake, we're here, baby. made it out here to Storm Lake, guys, to deliver these other two pallets and then off to South Dakota for the last drop. Man, it's been a ride and a half. So, anyway, the door is right here. This is the door. They're going to pull the load through. So, we're going to go ahead and just pull on through pretty much um straight right here. It's fine.
right there. It's okay.
All right, I'm going to go ahead and check in, guys, and I'll be right back.
We're going to get this unloaded and uh on to the next one. All right, so I got the bill signed already. Um and um she already radioed somebody to come here and uh offload these two pallets of plants. Uh bring the pallet jack as well. Uh the last drop will be 173 mi away as you guys can see. 3 hours 11 minutes. So that's of a trip, you know.
to South Dakota to drop off these uh last pallets. But we have to also stop for fuel in Sou Falls, South Dakota at the pilot. So, we'll do that as well on the way there cuz uh let me show you.
Man, pretty low on fuel. This load has just been burning fuel.
So, we got 1/4 left. So, yeah. I'm out here in Storm Lake, Iowa. It's beautiful. It's pleasant. Nice weather. Can't complain, man. It's a great day out here. Great day to finish off this long load. Can't wait to get it done, guys.
Heat. Heat.
Heat. Heat.
Thank you guys.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat.
That's it, guys.
Heat. Heat.
Can close the door.
>> All right.
>> All right. Appreciate it. Thank you, too. Thank you.
>> Pull up. Can't close the door. I got to pull up.
He put that uh pallet too close. I couldn't close the door, but it's no problem. We just pull up, you know.
That's it.
Put this lock on and we got a long row to go. We're going to have to stop at the pilot to grab some diesel. So, that's the plan, guys. But I'll see you when we get uh over there to Yankton or Pilot, one of the two. done. Well, we just pulled up here to Sous City, Iowa Pilot and uh we're waiting to get fuel.
There's a a line and a few people fueling. So, I'm just trying to see which one opens up so I can just get it.
Maybe that box truck will leave at the end pump so I can grab that one. But, I don't know. Whichever one pulls up, we're going to go ahead and grab that and top off that reefer fuel and also grab There he's leaving. So, I'm just going to go ahead behind him. uh get some fuel for the truck because uh my fuel light came on. I'm probably just gonna get 20 gallons to finish off this load because I'm not sure if I'm gonna get another payroll load. Uh fleet manager was saying um all the loads from this area, it's usually like far runs which I'm familiar with. Usually it's like all pork loads and stuff like that and those usually go pretty far uh coast to coast or from here to the coast like or South Florida and stuff like that.
North Carolina, you know, stuff like that. So anyway, going to go ahead and fuel it up and we're still 70 miles away from the last drop. So going to get it done, guys. Get it done. All right, everybody. We're finally arriving to our delivery.
Yankton, South Dakota, Walmart. Last drop.
>> Turn left. I was trying to go a different way, but unfortunately that way I couldn't go because it said um it was a left arrow saying no trucks allowed. So, I couldn't go that way. But >> turn left then turn right.
>> I guess we're going to make it work somehow here. And uh see if I there's some room to turn around back there cuz uh garden center's on this side of the store.
Oh man. We'll see what we can do.
Finally, this load is done. What we're going to do is go ahead and try to turn around and uh hopefully works out because so we have to unload the plants and then >> turn left.
>> It would be nice to turn around and then face this way so I can exit this way, you know, and go to the light. But there's not much room to turn around here. I saw one truck with a hopper trailer parked over there in the corner.
So, I don't know if there's going to be a lot of room. It's kind of far away from the store, so maybe no one really wants to park there. So, there might be room to turn around.
Oh, it's kind of buzzy here.
Trying to see where this door is at.
Yeah, this is going to be awesome.
Go ahead.
Yeah, there's no room to turn around.
If anything, I'd just stop here and get unloaded here. Hopefully.
Yeah, I'll just pull over here on the side.
>> Turn left.
Yeah, he's leaving that way. That's the one I was talking about, the hopper driver. But should be all right. We'll just stay right here. I'm going to go ahead and uh check in with him and I'll be right back. Guy already came out and knocked and uh he was like, "Hey, man.
I'll take care of you." I'm like, "Oh, sweet. I appreciate you, sir. Go ahead and uh get unloaded. You can shut off the reefer now.
Switch this up.
Nice and quiet finally after a couple days of noise.
But yeah, we're going to go ahead and uh pick this up.
I was going to dead head back to Sou Falls because that's where the wash got out.
All right, it's coming with the forklift now.
Lift that in for us.
He's on the way, guys. He's on the way.
Heat.
Heat.
Heat. Heat.
Heat.
Heat.
Just when we get one.
>> How many more?
>> Just these two.
>> Oh, okay.
>> Um, you want to pull these in and just kind of put them down like between the boats and the trees. Just kind of down the middle. And then >> this is your guys' copy. I don't know if I give it to you or >> Yeah. Yeah. Do you need to sign or anything?
>> No, I'll get the customer services stamped my bills.
>> Yeah, we got a stamp up there.
>> Am I okay here after you unload?
>> Or should I just move over there in case somebody buys something over here?
>> Well, we got to Yeah, we got to move some soil out to the lot so I >> got Yeah, that's fine. Yeah, I'll just uh whenever you take that out, I close up and I'll just park over there and do my stuff. now.
>> Okay. I appreciate Yep. Appreciate you.
>> Yep.
Sorry. You can go ahead. No, you can go ahead. Yep. Thank you.
>> All right. The end, guys.
>> Good timing. I just I just came back to watch.
>> Oh, yeah. walking in because if if I would have been here, I mean, you might have been waiting cuz it's so busy and there's no management here.
>> Yeah. No, it's great timing because usually like I deliver to like 10 other stores and I have to go find somebody and >> it takes a while. They call them and they're like, "Oh, I'm busy. I'll be there in like 10 minutes or something like that."
>> Yeah. Exactly.
>> I don't mind waiting, you know? We usually wait anyway. So, >> Yep.
>> All right. Thank you, sir.
The end, guys.
Go ahead and get these bills signed, but I got to pull out of the way so they can do their stuff here. You know what I'm saying?
Let him back up.
>> All right, take care.
>> Yep.
>> Thank you.
All right.
Gonna go ahead and park over there and hopefully there's room to park over there. Yeah, I think so. We'll be all right.
Have to uh go around. But if you guys enjoy this video, make sure you leave a like, share, comment, subscribe, and I'll see you in the next one.
