On security, the president said military and intelligence operations have intensified against terrorists, bandits, and kidnappers leading to improved safety in several communities.
But beyond government projections and official statistics, many Nigerians continue to grapple with the high cost of living.
>> That day, I think the attitude of this our problems is from our subsidy.
Because the money that we move from the subsidy, you should try to you should try to use the money to uh develop our economy.
>> When you remove subsidy, and they are complaining about it, you should not be what uh responsible for that. Those who control should be the one that they will drag.
I don't know if you understand. Because it can't be seen overseeing all the functions of Nigeria affairs.

Infrastructural development was not given the attention, but where we are today, we can see the continuation of the Kano-Maradi railway project is still given the necessary attention.
The continuation of uh Abuja-Kano railway is being given the necessary funding. It's still going on.

>> Security analysts say, although security agencies have recorded gains against criminal elements, sustaining those gains will require continued investment in intelligence, technology, and local security partnerships.
>> They have an increased uh budgetary allocation towards ensuring more reliance on technology.
There have also been efforts by the National Security Administration uh I mean, National Security Adviser to ensure that um we have intelligency collaboration. However, I believe that um majority of these efforts are at the moment targeted at the symptoms of insecurity.
And I believe we need to begin to look at more closely the root causes of insecurity.
>> As the administration enters its fourth year, supporters point to structural reforms and infrastructure development as evidence of progress.
