The video offers a provocative historical analysis but ultimately falls into the trap of respectability politics by suggesting that human dignity must be earned through economic performance. It risks validating the same materialistic hierarchies it critiques by making racial equality contingent on market success rather than inherent rights.

Why Do Whites and East Asians Dislike Black People So Much?Added:
Why white and East Asians fundamentally dislike black people? To hate means to experience intense emotions of hostility, animosity or aversion toward someone or something, often stemming from fear, anger, or repugnance. This is why I use the term dislike instead of hate. It is important to clarify that not all white people or East Asians harbor these feelings. This discussion, however, addresses a broader societal patterns rather than individual beliefs.
There is a noticeable racial divide between white and black people, largely rooted in the condescension that some white people exhibit toward black people. When I say white and black people, Americans tend to confuse everything with their internal fighting.
Black people don't mean African-American, just as white people don't mean white Americans. In terms of demographics, the US has slightly over 200 million white people, followed by Russia with 105 million and Brazil with 92 million white people. If the European Union were considered a single entity, it would be home to the largest population of white people still living in their indigenous homeland. The US accounts for approximately 22% of the global white population. Conversely, they are around 1.65 65 billion black people worldwide with 48 million residing in the US which constitute slightly just over 4% of the total black population. I needed to clear that up first because these two groups sometimes have geography issues thinking the world is the US. No, it isn't. I don't believe that the first white person to set foot in Africa and come in contact with black people hated them. It's difficult to hate or dislike something that you don't know. Although there had been Mediterranean contact for centuries. The first significant and well doumented arrival of Europeans in Africa began in the 15th century led by the Portuguese.
Bartholomeia Dias reached the Cape of Good Hope in 1488 and Portuguese explorers established trading post and fort including Shiao Georg Damina in present day Elmina Ghana in 1482. What they discovered were people living in tribal societies alongside abundant natural resources. The early Europeans described Africa as a paradoxical land of immense wealth and savage danger, often referring to it as the dark continent. They used this term not only because of Africans skin tones, but also because of their lack of understanding of the continent's interior, which appeared as a mysterious blank space on their maps. As the Europeans began seizing land across the Americas and Africa, a complex interplay between labor demand and European colonial expansion transformed the narratives.
Initially, early Europeans were fascinated by the black African complexion, not approaching it with condescension. However, as their greed for land and wealth grew, this intrigue evolved into dehumanizing stereotypes by the 17th and 18th centuries, central to the transatlantic slave trade. By this time, generations of white people were raised with an ingrained belief in their superiority over black people. This belief persisted through the era of colonialism and continues to affect society today. For centuries, black people have faced defeat and humiliation. The black man has never fully recovered from centuries of humiliation. Throughout history, he has been portrayed as savage, and this depiction has influenced perceptions around the world. For many, particularly among white and East Asian communities, nothing undermines their pride more than being intellectually outperformed by a black person. This perception stems from viewing black people as either not fully human or if recognized as human as less intelligent. Consequently, experiencing defeat at the hands of someone considered less intelligent is particularly painful for these groups.
When a black person is seen dating a beautiful white woman, it can provoke irritation among white people. The same reaction occurs when a black person date a beautiful Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Hispanic or Arab woman. No one wants to see a race they have been indoctrinated to perceive as inferior date the best of them. Most white people perceive themselves as superior, the helper, as leaders. Any other position is often seen as unacceptable. This dynamic is a construct of society. Until black people or black countries establish and develop successful economies and cultivate intelligent, innovative citizens, the condescension they face will persist. The average age in the US, Europe, Korea, Japan, and China ranges between 38 to 45. This indicates that most people in these regions were born after 1980, which is relatively recent. So how can they still exhibit condescension towards black people when they were not even alive in the 17th, 18th or 19th centuries? This attitude persist because social construct of condensation have been passed down from previous generations.
This dynamic will continue until black communities initiate a change. During the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, the Japanese were often treated with condensation by Europeans who ridiculed their culture and customs. This tendency for Europeans to belittle other cultures has been a reoccurring theme throughout history. Western views of Japan evolved through three distinct phases. initial curiosity in the 16th and 17th centuries, a grudging admiration for modernization following the major restoration in 1868, and finally a genuine admiration that emerged after World War II in the 50s and beyond.
Although the Russo Japanese war in 1905 brought some political recognition to Japan, it was primarily in the post World War II era that the deep respect for Japanese culture and its economic achievement took root. As you can see, the Japanese earned the respect they receive today. However, the idea of a superior culture is highly subjective and is generally rejected by modern anthropology in favor of cultural relativism. This perspective maintains that no culture is inherently better or more advanced than another. While some argue that certain cultures create better conditions for human flourishing, safety, and prosperity, I align with this view. Nonetheless, it is important to recognize that culture are simply different adaptation to specific environment. Evaluating cultures through a simplistic lens of inferior and superior without considering historical context can lead to discrimination and racism. Another example after Japan is South Korea. During the 50s and 60s, South Koreans often faced condescension and unequal treatment primarily from Europeans and Americans, including African-Americans. In the aftermath of the Korean War, the country was heavily dependent on US aid, and many observers viewed it as a poor war torn nation. As a result, Americans often acted condescendingly toward the Korean people. Koreans experience intense racism and discrimination particularly towards wool bride and mixed race children amirations. Thousands of Korean women married US soldiers and immigrated to the United States where they confronted racial discrimination and were stigmatized as camptown prostitute.
Meanwhile, their mixed race children were often treated as outcast in Korea.
However, through effort like the Korean wave Halu and the country's impressive economic growth, the global perception of Koreans has changed significantly.
Today, a strong independent and economically sound South Korea, the nation is no longer viewed with condescension. The situation today is similar for China. Just yesterday, it too was the subject of mockery for many around the world, particularly Americans and Europeans. China has faced centuries of disrespect, but it is said to surpass many of those who have disrespected it, even though it has already surpassed many and is bound to become the greatest economy in the world. The case for Africa is more complex. The world has often failed to understand the diversity and individuality of African people.
Just as Koreans and Japanese have their own distinct identities, so too do Nigerians and Kenyans. Similarly, while the Chinese and Mongolians are different cultures, so are the peoples of Mozambique and the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africans are often grouped because they have struggled to showcase their unique qualities to the world.
There has been a collective failure to establish modern, successful, and distinct cultures and nations. The mystification and intrigue that originated in the 15th century evolved into racism in the 17th and 18th centuries. And this will not change until black people prove to the world that they are wrong. Much like the Japanese, Korean, and Chinese have done.
The current circumstances in Africa unfortunately reinforce stereotypes that suggest intellectual and cultural inferiority. Every time a culture or group of people receives generosity or handout from another culture or group, there can often be a sense of condescension from the giver, whether conscious or unconscious. This is a fundamental aspect of human nature. It's hard to respect someone who is fully dependent on you. Respect must be earned. This dynamic also shapes perceptions of attractiveness across races. Some often site stereotypes like wide noses, fuller lips, and curvier figures as reasons for less attraction on black people. A black person with the widest nose lips and the darkest complexion would date the prettiest white, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, or Indian if his bank account reads $1 billion. True equality fosters good friendship. It's rare to see people like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, or Jang Yiming forming close relationships with someone who works at McDonald's or in a warehouse somewhere in China, indicating that status influences social connections. Africa's time will come. It is currently only being delayed by black Africans themselves. There are so many Japanese and Korean cultural practices that are appalling to the rest of the world, but no one calls their culture or the people in Ethereum. Their economic independence and innovative capacity driven by intelligence have garnered global recognition often overshadowing the negative aspect of their cultures.
For many Americans, Africa is perceived as a homogeneous country. When a black person from Africa commits a crime in the US, it is viewed as a crime committed by Africa itself. In contrast, when a white person from Germany, Britain, or France commits a crime, they are seen as an individual who has done something wrong. For centuries, what constituted riches, happiness, and self-sufficiency for black Africans was having multiple wives, children, and farms. They didn't need to study financial indicators, pension plans, or develop strategies for anything beyond a few months. There was no concept of being late as time was not part of their economy or tribal structure. Their climate was warm and everyone thrived in community life, farming together, sharing meals and telling stories and folklore. However, they faced invasion, defeat, and enslavement for centuries.
Just as they began to recover, they were invaded again and colonized, disrupting the way of life they had established for millennia. European imposed what they considered modern living on Africans.
Many black people have not yet fully adapted to this new system, but they have learned a great deal over the decade. It is likely that by the latter part of this century, there will be a significant transformation as white dominance and control begin to wayne.
Until then, Europeans and Asians, including Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, Indians, and even Arabs, will continue to condescend to black people.
