Quitting Smoking and Chasing Dreams

[00:00:00]Now, just a little bit of a background story. About a year ago, actually more than a year ago, I quit smoking cigarettes after 22 years of smoking. And that was a tough one.

[00:00:14]Um, and still I I feel the cravings and whatnot to this day, but I'm really proud of myself. And that's what catapulted a lot of um taking actions into things that I've been either delaying or I haven't really given my all.

[00:00:42]Most important lesson I've learned through all of this is to keep on persevering.

[00:00:51]and to keep on looking for customers because if that's not what you're doing, you're just wasting time. If people don't know about what you're selling, then they can't buy it.

[00:01:06]That's something that seems to be common sense, but it took me a little while for that to click in.

[00:01:16]Um, and I think there's a lot of things that people do when they're setting up their business so they could feel good when they're doing it. And it makes them feel good to set something up because it makes them feel like they're getting ahead and doing something. But in reality, the hardest things or the things that you don't want to do in a business are actually the most important things you got to do in the time right then and there.

[00:01:47]So, kind of being honest and real with yourself about the things you need to improve on and the changes you need to make are the most important things.
