I'm glad to work for the Msquakei tribe at the casino.
They paid for my education and it's my way of giving back by being director of purchasing at the casino. I do my goodest over there, but I'm very thankful. I had that job director position. There's not very many of us and there but there's more coming up through the lines. I worked at the good casino. I was a I clean slot machines.
That's where I started. I started from the you know that I was cleaning with slot machines.
Then I went to school, went to night school.
I worked graveyard cleaning slot machines when they had there was coinbased back then. So there was a lot of coin dust and they cleaned them up on the inside.
I went to school at night where I worked at night. Went to school during the day.
Finished MCC then Buenov Vista. Worked as a buyer laborer. I worked a labor with public work. Not public works with the housing. I was a laborer, a gopher, and I worked my way up all up to a director position, which I'm very happy for myself. I got put the work in. Now I'm a director at the casino.
But it needed help for my family though.
My wife, my kids, you know, my wife, you know, she took care of the kids when to school. She took care of the kids when I was working. So, I'm thankful for my wife, thank you to my parents, my mom.
She encouraged me. She encouraged me to continue my education. She encouraged me to take my buyer job. It was the first job I ever had as a in an office. I was I was a laborer and I was yeah, I didn't want to take the job, but she encouraged me, her and my auntie Kelly, she encouraged they encouraged me to take that director job or that buyer job in the office. So, I listened to them and I I toughed it out.
I was a buyer there for like eight years at the casino with Allen. I worked with Alan [ __ ] He was the director. Then then I worked at the youth program after that. Msquack youth program. Shout out to the Msquack Youth Program.

That was one of my favorite jobs. I'm very proud of that accomplishment. Made the playgrounds with help. Help had my part in the playground. Had my part in the outdoor basketball court. Very proud of those projects.
But my point is I started from the bottom. You know, I started from a cleaning job.

So at this time, [ __ ] hunters, whenever you're ready, our dancers are ready.

As we go down the schedule of events, looking to the page two, you will see we are at the buffalo head dance.
Buffalo head dance.
We'll move on to the [ __ ] hunters for this song.
Buffalo head dance time.
From what I understand, >> buffalo head dance represents the movement of the buffalo.
As they graze along the prairie, along the forest, mimics their movement. They bow their heads to eat. They move on.
They make their way feeding, grazing.
So that's what this dance mimics of the movement of the buffalo.
So we're going to get two headmen dancers, two leaders. Gekki of course cuz he's headman. And another one get the buffalo headdress on that represents the animal itself. Goop.
And we're going to keep it with the host drum for this song. These sets of song.
There's more than one.
And I encourage all of our young people to watch and listen. That's how you learn. Watch and listen to the songs.
Watch the dances. It's your job to carry this to the future. So, it keeps going.
That responsibility is on you.
And you got it. All you got to do is watch and listen.
So, at this time, we're going to ask our dancers to make their way on out for the Buffalo Head dance.
Regalia Makans will be closing the registration for the beated cap at 2:30.
You got two minutes. Run on up. If you haven't already, run over there. And they're going to close down registration for the beated cap. And they're going to start judging at that time. Once it's closed, they're going to open up the judging. I believe Scott, Mr. Got Steve.
Is the people voting like every year?
Steve, the people vote. The people voting. All right. The people will be voting for their the best beated cat in their eyes. Then the one with the most votes will win some shuna, some frog skins, some maza, some money.
