So, very quickly for those who want the quick gist of it or whatever, they have I believe it is 12 or 13 jurors seated. Um, I am predicting that by the end of tomorrow they will have the full jury. They want 18 so that they have six, you know, alternates or whatever. Um, so they're almost there, right? Uh, there was some drama in the courtroom today. The judge got on the attorneys a little bit talking about emotions and like we're not concerned about how people are feeling and their thoughts and this that and the other and blah blah blah blah blah. Uh, but it seemed like a pretty quick little process. So, you know, here we go. So say tomorrow and actually while we're doing this I want to look please hold call currently important.

So we're good. We're good. So it could happen really the rest of this week. I don't think it'll happen tomorrow because they don't have the jury. Like that's a no-brainer, right? But then possibly Thursday or the judge might be like, "Look, this is going to be a pretty big week." Okay, so uh we're going to start off on Monday. Now, if he says, "Listen, we're going to start off on Monday." That's the wrong Monday. I have an appointment at 11:00 a.m. So, here's the thing. I have an in-person doctor appointment at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. I'm not trying to be negative, Nancy. I'm simply being realistic, Rachel. I'll almost bet you the opening statements will be on Monday. Now, you better believe me. I'll have my phone.

[00:05:51]Well, first of all, let me think for a second. Well, I'll say this, and I asked this in the little video I did today, y'all. I went down the rabbit hole on Courtney Clinty court documents today, and I mean, I was deep in it. So, I'd like to do because you know her trial is coming up in August. Um, and so, and also Sarah uh Grace Patrick is as well.

[00:06:10]So, what I want to do is also kind of start prepping for the the what's her name? Courtney Clenny. Um, so, oh, literal Lucy. I like that. I definitely am a literal Lucy. So, we might do a live chat where we just go through that because when I was reading through the documents from Courtney, if you watch the video from today, you'll see where I'm like, "Oh, you can see exactly where she's going." I'm talking Sarah Boone 2.0, battered woman syndrome on steroids. Okay. Um, and I do believe her trial will actually start this time simply because the the the prosecution's like, "Yep, here we've got all the stuff. There you go. We're there you go with that information. We're good here."

[00:06:50]Uh, and the judge, I think, is like, "Nope. Here we go." So, we'll see. Um, so there's that. So, we'll kind of talk at the end a little bit more, too. So, let's go ahead and go over these updates because again, we'll probably read through them really quickly and then we can kind of talk about some other stuff before we go. So, it probably won't be a super long live chat tonight. Uh, but I've waited. I've only looked at two things of this, which was the obvious how many jurors were seated and then a quick news clip about the stuff I was telling you about where the judge got all kind of like testy with everybody.

[00:07:32]Okay, so we are at the end of day one and we're beginning day two.

[00:07:37]So it says 8:05 the jury selection process will begin a second day. 8:50 day 2. 9:16 what to expect. Um and it says when we're not permitted to stream the judge's welcome message to prospective jurors will continue to post updated info. 9:20 there is a delayed while the media being kept out of courtroom for now and yes no recording of welcome message to the jurors. 9:21 the court is now open for 90 prospects.

[00:08:02]The judge addresses the perspective jurors at 10:00 and then the judge states the facts of the case. He tells them you know that she's presumed innocent all the things right and then the attorneys introduce themselves. It's always up north to me it's like very like proper the way the courtrooms run where they're like this is so and so and this is the like there's like this decorum to it right which I appreciate I like that um okay and then let's see they introduce okay so the first questions of course are like hey do you know you know Lindsay Clancy anything about the case and of course there's like you know judges I'm sorry jurors are raising their hand all that type stuff okay and then it says 92 perspective jurors have taken questionnaires to answer to see if they are chosen. We expect them back in the courtroom in 45 minutes. So I guess they give them all this stuff. I think what they do is they do a sea of hands to see like is anybody related to her? Like some obvious stuff of like can you even be on this jury? Get rid of those people then send them with a questionnaire is what it sounds like.

[00:09:04]Okay. So 10:30 the courtroom's closed.

[00:09:06]11:24 it's back in session. The jurors are brought in individually for questioning. Okay. So 11:28 another juror is excused and she was tearful.

[00:09:16]Now I heard a reporter talking about today was like there's jurors who are like look it's not that I've heard this or I'm biased like I cannot sit here and listen to this. I have grandchildren. I have kids. Like I cannot do it. Like you don't want me on this jury. I will not be able to do it. And so I think that that's pretty, you know, nice that they're honoring that I guess we would say. Uh because again, if I was an attorney and somebody said that, I I wouldn't want them. I wouldn't want them on the jury, right? Um it's, you know, I I certainly wouldn't want them. Okay. So 11:30, they get a juror seated. That's juror number six. Okay. Then 11:44, the jury question is being done at sidebar, which means it's not an open court, but we can hear at times some of the discussion. Um they say, "We've seen a perspective juror not be able to commit to impartiality, tearing up. She was excused. Juror number seven is seated.

[00:10:09]That that juror is a female. So at this point there's four women, three men. And then they say, "We can't hear it, but there seems to be a heated debate between the judge and the defense attorney, Kevin Readington, about challenges to the jurors." Then by 1:00 they have juror number eight, who is a woman. And then they have uh at 1:00, although I can't be 100% certain, she writes, "It appears all the jurors chosen for so far are white." Then at 105 they say, "Jur number nine is seated. It's a woman." That's half the jurors chosen. Court's now at lunch. 219 they come back. So this also kind of serves to see kind of sort of the timing of how court will go. So it seems like they like to take this around lunch around 1, but again this will be a little bit different once we get into testimony and that type stuff. Okay. So at 219 um they come back whatever a juror who was seated yesterday is back being questioned a sidebar. It appears juror number two has been excused. They lost a juror. [snorts] Okay. Juror number 10 is seated. It's a man. Number 11 is seated.

[00:11:19]Please hold. Then over here, a juror was just seated to seat 13 in Clancy trial.

[00:11:24]There are now 12 jurors. Okay. Because they lost one. Okay. So, I'm looking at something else over here, too. The jury selection began through at least part of Wednesday. So, they're they're basically sitting here saying like they think they will have this jury seated partway through Wednesday. Okay. Um, hey, nurse Mandy, how's it going? And it says the process works this way. All the potential jurors are brought into court in front of the judge. They're asked as a series of questions and the judge lays out expectations if they're selected.

[00:11:52]Then the potential jurors fill out a questionnaire and that helps the judge and attorneys determine if they have any bias or any reason that they cannot sit for a full duration of the trial. They are also given a witness list and asked to identify anyone on it who they know.

[00:12:06]They are individually brought into the courtroom for the judge to ask follow-up questions. The attorneys have the opportunity to ask follow-up questions as well. And then each juror is either dismissed or seated. And Clancy is in the witness box for those questions. So, she can hear each potential juror answer if they have a bias or why they may not might not be able to participate.

[00:12:29]one, it says the proceedings have already gotten emotional. One of the potential jurors walked out crying and just talks about how the trial is going to be long, etc., etc. That type thing, right? Um, and yeah, this is going to be [snorts] I mean, this is going to be hard, y'all.

[00:12:47]This I would not want to be on this jury for multiple reasons, right? obviously for the crime itself, okay? They're going to hear and see terrible things, meaning like evidence and things of that nature and probably photographs and autopsies and whatnot, right? But then this is this is going to be so unique because they're going to be asked to really decide which reality they're going to go with. And you know, it's going to be a tough one.

[00:13:16]And again, I'm this here. I saw somebody else talking about this earlier. I can't remember who you were, but they were basically like, I'm really looking forward to this trial because I haven't made my mind up about it. That type thing. And I totally feel that statement because like when we watch these a lot of times by the time it goes to trial, it's kind of like look, like I'm just look like I already, you know, sure you can prove me wrong, but I've already got my mind made up, right? I'm looking more or less like what's the absurdity? think things like Brian Walsh, you know, where it's just like they're really going to trial over this, okay? You know, Larry Malia, I was pretty much already made my mind up. But regardless, I was like, what's the absurdity of this? Like, how are we here? However, this one is one that I'm just like, I need to hear that.

[00:14:03]I need to hear and see the evidence, right? Like, because this is so up in the air. Um, this could go one of two ways. And again, it's like nobody's contesting what she did. it's the reasonings and culpability behind it.

[00:14:16]And so again, that part's unique. The other part of her husband standing by her side and, you know, taking the stand in the defense. Um, it's very unique.

[00:14:27]Uh, so yeah, and she's not contesting that like she did the act basically.

[00:14:33]It's I mean, in my layman's terms, again, I'm not a lawyer, but it's more like the why behind it. Um, and and so and yeah, Eileen says a good no one wins at this trial. It's so heavy because again, hey Sandy, how's it going? I hope you're doing okay. Wait, three days in hospital here. Oh, I hope you get to go home soon, Sandy. I'm sorry. Um, I um wait, what was I going to say, y'all? I was just going to say something. Oh, I can't remember people in the chat or if it was Josh. I don't remember. But um which is basically like they don't have to prove like what's the motive? Hey Emily, how's it going?

[00:15:10]Emily's had a big day out in the town. I hope you've had a good one. Um, so that there's going to be that huge things for me is again technology. What is the opening statement? When I say technology, what were the Google searches? What was this? What was that?

[00:15:25]All these cases, it's always the same.

[00:15:28]There's stuff that we've not heard that we will see in the very first day, right? And then when when the uh both sides outline their case and we'll start seeing stuff like oh whoa okay you know well now can you prove that and it becomes like how is each side going to tell us the story and so for me that's a big thing I'm guessing unless the judge I can't imagine they would do that for this I feel like we'll get to opening statements on Thursday you know unless something major happens tomorrow like pretend they get in there and they see the jury in the first hour and they're like hey we can go ahead and let's take a break and recalibrate and do this and blah blah blah blah blah. But like if they can get the jury seated even by lunchtime and then come back and get everybody ready to go and say, "Hey, we're coming back tomorrow morning to do opening statements." I feel like that's the best case scenario. Uh cuz they got a lot of people seated today. If they're going through it that quickly, you know, and one thing too that I'm curious to see, I'm not sure if other reporters are talking about this and what not. people are actually in the courtroom and we'll kind of see real quick. But if she is meaning she meaning Lindsay Clancy is sitting in the witness box so she can hear things and kind of like be part of this up close and personal the jury selection. You know what is I and this is one reason why I'm very curious to see it. What is her demeanor like? What is the eye contact?

[00:16:46]What you know this is another one where I'm like I would love to just be in the room and pick up the energy. So, um, so we'll see, right? Already, as we're seeing, it's I'm telling you, with the lawyers involved in this and how it's going, sparks and all the things are going to fly in this courtroom, [snorts] right? It's going to be one of those trials, I think. Uh, it's just it's going to be dramatic.

[00:17:11]Now, here's this also. So, we'll talk about this for a minute. Um, so again, you know, we're waiting on the opening statements on this, right? So that could be Thursday, that could be Friday, that could be Monday, whatever. Right? So we're going to be we're in it to win it.

So August 3rd, Monday the 3 is when Sarah Grace Patrick, [snorts] pardon me, opening, I'm sorry, jury selection starts. So, you know, there's probably going to be a day or two of that. And again, we'll see very quickly like on day one, we'll kind of see how how that goes, right? Um, so what we could do is pretend we're streaming Lindsay Clancy and and jury selection starts for Sarah Grace. We'll do something like this where in the evening times we might do a live chat real quick to be like, "What happened in the courtroom of jury selection?"

[00:18:11]So, we might kind of jump back and forth if there's stuff going on and it might be like a what's what testimonies playing in Lindsy Clancy today, we'll do that one. What's happening in Sarah Grace? Okay, we'll do that one tomorrow.

[00:18:24]That type thing. You see what I'm saying? Um, so, you know, there's that. Um, and Laser Light says, "I'm curious," and this is a good question. Laser Light says, "I'm curious from a medical point of view of how they plan on running the days. You wouldn't normally keep someone in her condition, set in a wheelchair for long days. She can't change her own position, etc. That's an excellent question there.

[00:20:14]Yeah. So, I'm hearing anywhere from like four to eight weeks for this trial. So, and I think it's actually leaning more towards six or eight or something like that. But I mean, it's supposed to be a while, but you know how that goes where they slate all this time and then you get into it and you see how it's going to play out. So it could be shorter, it could be longer, but again, you know, if trust me, if there's some overlap with Courtney Cenny opening statements and major things in these other trials, we are going to watch. You know what I mean? So we'll figure it out. Um, so we'll just play it by ear, you know?

[00:20:48]We would just play it by ear if we have if there's something like major like pretend like Lindsay Clancy goes on for the whole time. You already know Courtney Clinty is going to be I mean that's huge, right? Um there's a lot I want to see in that one.

[00:21:02]And not that this wasn't this one isn't huge either, but you know that one's just it is what it is. So we'll figure it out though. We'll be we'll be watching all the good parts at least. Um and then actually let me look up because somebody said is Sarah Grace's even televised? And I feel like it is. I've just taken it for granted. Um, and I want to make sure. I feel like it was though. Lord help me if it's not.

And I think that's going to be a huge part of this is the medication she was on, the why behind the medications, right? because it's like I wanted to hear from the doctors and being like what what were we doing here? You know, because the the I think the states experts are going to testify and say that even though she was doing all that, that doesn't play into anything. But I mean, these are heavy meds she was on and lots of them [snorts] and uh and massive change ups with that. And so I'm like that can't I mean I don't again I'm not a psychiatrist so I can't say you know either way but that's just I don't know I I I want to hear a lot of that again I want to see the the the Google searches I want to see that but again you know the I think last night's live chat we kind of reviewed that um the uh interview that the New Yorker did with the husband pardon me and talking about where I feel and again don't hold me to this I forget what it was but something to the effect where she was saying where it happened in a split second. Um like the decision like the whole thing or whatever. Uh also there's the thing of her saying she heard voices this that and the other. So again, you know, all that I'm expecting to see in the trial, right? Um both sides have some pretty big answers to hurdles to get over. So, you know, we'll see, right? I think this is going to be a very heavily, how would you say it? Uh, heavy on the experts, heavy on that type of energy of like getting up there and doing that, you know, just that type talk or whatever. Um, [clears throat] cat mom says, "I saw a psych specialist talk about that today." Interesting.

Um, [clears throat] anytime I've seen her in the courtroom, she's pretty, you know, she has a very kind of like, how would you say it? Her face is just very kind of flat, you know what I mean? Um, so we'll see, right? Uh, it was an excellent video. Okay, I'll check that out. For whatever reason in my mind I was thinking Annie Elise and I'm like how did she get I mean not that Annie can't do that but I'm like wow she had her attorney on there and I was like wait drop deadad serious Ashley. [00:25:50]Okay so she can maybe readjust herself or whatever. Surely there's going to be some level of stuff that goes on just with this situation. You know what I mean? And like I said she has two I think nurses or whatever that are going to be in the courtroom with her. Um, so there's gonna be special stuff that goes on or whatever. Uh, please hold.

Um, kind of like a very dramatic, passionate type of opening statement, and I expect it from the state as well. Uh, but I really feel like her her attorney is going to bring it all to the table. You know what I'm saying? Hold on.

Yeah and does anybody know I'm a meatball brought up a good one says yeah reckon the state offered a plea deal. She's trying to avoid prison miguel but most prison. So that's my question too. Do has anybody heard a thing about a plea deal because you know they always offer something. So, I wonder if they went to them. Like, imagine if they went to them and said, "We'll do life without parole." And they're like, "No, we're going this way." Let me see here.

[00:28:30]A good amount of backup people. Um, yeah, I forget. Shona asked, "Does the state have to argue she did this out of malice so they concede to anything?" So Josh was explaining it to me and my collab with him is going to be tomorrow's video on the main channel because that's kind of like what we got into a little bit was that right there, pardon me, was the what do you really have to kind of prove because it's very complicated and tricky with this type of charge and I should say this type of defense. I'm sorry. Um but he explained it pretty well. Do I remember what he said right now? No.

[00:29:10][laughter] So, but it's it's very again the jury's got a big task on their shoulders. You know, they're going to have a lot to go through. And this is one of those where honestly even before we get to it, I'm thinking you to me I'm like this might take the jury a while unless we see some kind of bombshell bombshelly type stuff.

[00:29:36]meaning in the way of like, and I'm making this up right now as an example, oh my gosh, they found all this stuff in Google searches about like, you know, and it's so obvious that like this was pre-planned, right? Um, that just makes everybody say, "Yeah, never mind." But I don't think that's going to be the case. But again, I'm I'm not I can't tell, right? I don't know.

[00:29:57]Um, yeah, the civil filings. So, we went through it the other day now. So there's two civil filings and um and which one L are you talking about both of them because hers is like almost 800 pages and then his meaning her husband Patrick's this is like 20 or something.

[00:30:12]It's more like hers, a diet version of hers, right? So, we basically did like a chat GBT like summarize this up, go through the the big talking points in it. And so, just that right there where you go through her timeline and that's one thing I keep seeing all these like, you know, attorneys and people like this, I'll say she has a heavily documented list of um trying to get help, all the things she was doing, right? Um, and so that's what's going to be like interesting with this one is like what does the jury do with that in addition to testimony such as her husband getting up there? You know, things like that. But then also, they're going to be hearing about just the heinousness of the crime and, you know, was there evidence that showed she knew it was wrong and all this stuff. So, I don't know. So, yeah, it'll this is going to be definitely more serious tone for the sofa squad. Uh, but we've watched serious ones before. We usually don't Why should I say that? It depends because I was going to say I usually don't go over once with kids in them, but we do. So, but it's just, you know, we haven't recently, I guess, except for all the ones getting overturned that we watched in the years past that are now getting overturned and revisiting them. Right. So, she's in a hospital right now. Tukes I can't remember it's like Tukesbury hospital and Josh was basically saying it's like she's there for her I mean they they cover everything like mental physical all this type stuff but it's you know she requires a lot of medical physical medical stuff obviously mental situations too uh mental health situations um so [snorts] yeah justice says not everyone can be a train wreck like Lori or Corey literally oh my gosh Corey Richens Corey Cory Richens. My goodness, we have gone through some trials, y'all. Let me tell you what, we have gone and that's what I'm talking about. So, like a Corey Richens trial, I pretty much have my mind made up going into that, right? I mean, definitely show me the stuff. You know what I'm saying? If I was actually on the jury, it'd be different.

[00:32:24]Yeah, but that was kind of like uh but there was already this like WTF factor to it before. Like the children's book, the this, the that, right? This one has like a what factor to it, but not in the same way. And there's so many layers to it. This is one I'm like, well, now hold on. Let's get all the cards on the table first now. You see what I'm saying?

[00:32:45]So, we'll see. Um, oh, I know. Lori was just like, think about how many trials we went through just with Lori and Chad. How many trials? I mean, I feel like, okay, so I started my main channel in 2019.

[00:33:04]When did the Lori thing happen? Do y'all remember what year? Because I feel like it was within the year that that took place. Like, and I'm talking about we start seeing Nate Eaton in Hawaii talking about We're the kids, like that level, right? Um, so I mean, just think of that. It's just so wild to look back over stuff, you know, and just see like, my gosh, it feels like decades ago. 2021. Okay. Um, yeah, I started 2019 and um, pardon me.

[00:33:42]And uh and I remember like Leticia cuz I remember Denise Rainey is the one who told me about the Lori Deville thing.

[00:33:52]And we were talking and I was really like paying attention to the I'm sorry, what's her name? Leticia. And Denise was like, "Oh, there's this insane case going on right now. This is like going to be wild. I don't know if it's a cold or this and that and blah blah blah blah blah." and she was starting to kind of go down the rabbit hole and it was just like, "Huh, what is this?" It was wild, right? Um, so OJ was my first My god, I remember that. I remember like, well, see, OJ's a little bit different because like that was so major. Like I remember watching the Chase and all that Casey Anthony trial. I mean, I can remember being at the salon and we had that on for like almost the whole time, right? like everybody was glued to that trial, right, for obvious reasons. Um, and so like watching a trial like live, but it was different back then. I mean, I think it was on Court TV, but on TV. I can't really remember. Uh, but not like this where it's like you're watching YouTube or whatever. Maybe some people did by then. I don't know. Um, but that was like the first trial like that that I can remember of just being glued.

[00:35:04]Um, so yeah, Jod Aras, I don't remember the Jod. I don't know if I watched that in real time.

[00:35:13]Um, [clears throat] yeah, the OJ chase.

[00:35:15]I just remember everybody like I felt like lit. I mean, this isn't even being slight, you know, dramatic or whatever.

[00:35:22]I mean, it was almost like I don't want to say the world, but definitely the nation like stopped and stared at their TV because we were all like, "OJ's running from the cops cuz remember back then it was like you just didn't have access to celebrities and and all that kind of stuff, right?" And so it was just like to see OJ and that white Bronco driving down the interstate with all these cops who were like, "What am I watching?" It was so wild.

[00:35:54]Now I remember that like Jod Aras like the dramatics of it. Um meaning the interviews of this but I don't think that um I don't think I watched it live.

[00:36:08]Oh I know right Aldra. Seriously now [snorts] since then I have watched you know I have seen that or whatever. Oh you know Susan Smith. I remember that. I can remember people gasping when they announced um that she killed it was her.

[00:36:25]They arrested her. Um I can remember watching the news stuff and seeing her up there pretending to cry. I can remember all like I that's another one.

[00:36:35]So that was another major one.

[00:36:51]I can't remember just being glued to that. In my world that was like months long. Oh, another one was um um David Caresh the standoff. Like I know it wasn't a trial or whatever, but like I can remember that like intensely like that. Oh, like just being something that was glued on the TV. You know what I'm saying? Like just like you turn the TV on, that's what was on was the standoff.

[00:37:40]Yeah, some of these I for I totally forgot the the first cases that I got into as a um like say books like the the biggest true crime situation. I don't know what you call it was the Manssons and whatever that book was that famous the family whatever it's called that famous book the first you know the the attorney or whoever wrote that was my first thing that got me to say like I don't want to say hooked on true crime but like fascinated by it um like utterly fascinated Helter Skelter thank you Jessup thank you laser um I mean I ripped through that book and then wanted to like recreate that with another true crime book, if that makes sense. And I can just remember kind of losing interest a little bit because I couldn't find one after that. But then the next one was um oh my gosh, what is it? Yeah, I talk about the case all the time. It's in Fagetville and it was the the dude who mimicked Jeffrey McDonald. Jeffrey McDonald, the one who tried to make it look like and the Manson broke into his house on base. Not on base, but you know what I'm saying. And um and killed his family.

[00:38:50]That was I remember seeing the made for TV movie and it freaked me out completely. Oh my god. The B Do you mean the bubble boy? I can remember that. Um yeah. And then the staircase later in life was a huge huge I you already know if you follow me. I can't keep that. I can't stop talking about it. Um the staircase and there was another one. Oh, and it just made me remember it. Uh one of y'all said it.

I watched it both parts and um I'm ve I I need to go back over my notes over it to me. So we'll talk about that for a minute real quick and then we'll kind of move on.

[00:41:32]And so, tonight's video was on Obsession. And then I did one for the new Nightmare and Elm Street stuff coming out, but that was just more of a quick whatever. and um they'll be I just put them out when I can. And so what I did with that channel, you know, I I I don't pay attention to it and I come back to it and then whatever. I have so much fun doing it though. But I was just like, you know what, I'm not going to try and be fancy over there. I'm just going to press record on my phone and um and make it and just talk about the thing and be done with it. Um, and so it's way easier to do that without that pressure of like, well, let me like record it and and put this in here and blah blah and make a a polished edited video or whatever. [sighs] So, there's that. Um, secondly, I watched Shipwrecked at Sea on um, oh yeah, West M three. West Memphis 3. I was invested in [snorts] Shipwrecked at Sea on um, what is it called? [cough] in front [clears throat] of me Netflix about that ship that went um you know that sunk in the last 15 years or whatever. It was good. It was good.

[00:42:41]Definitely recommend watching it. I mean it was sad. Um you watched it too, Ash.

[00:42:47]It It was good. Okay then. And I don't even know what platform I'm watching this on. Um, and I've seen it many years ago, but it's called August Os County. And it's just it was a a play at first and then they adapted it into a movie. Julia Roberts, Merryill Streep. I'm talking like allstar cast and it was this they call it a dark comedy. Uh, but it's just about this kind of just real I don't want to say messed up, but messed up family. It's just like a moment in time, right, over this whole thing. Look it up. It's good.

[00:43:24]It's giving like, you know, if you think of like Bridges of Madison County where that kind of deep just character driven or whatever. Um, think about that, right? But there's a lot going on in this one. So, so there's that. [gasps] Okay. So, it's let me type it out. Please, please hold.

[00:43:58]Oh, there it is. I was like, where did Streamyards go? Um, okay. So, then the Scott Peterson thing.

[00:44:04]So, to me, I'll say this. I um I didn't think it was me anything mega new. Like maybe if you haven't followed it for a minute and there might have been a couple of little things or whatever, but overall I was like I'm not really seeing anything like groundbreakingly new in this, you know, and again like it's picking up where the LA Innocence Project, you know, is taking on his case and all this type stuff. And you know, it's like what's going on with this blah blah blah blah blah. And I was just like, um, oh, um, it's just the same stuff that I've kind of seen. I understand what they're trying to do. I get it. You know, and a lot of it was very heavy on the, well, why didn't this person testify and this person said they saw this and you know D and all this type of stuff, whatever. Um, so, oh, I can't believe you mentioned the movie. Oh, which movie are you talking about, Sandra? Osage County or the shipwreck one? or have I said something else already. Um, so I just didn't there was nothing like major groundbreaking into it. Um, and yeah, Holly, you say it good, Holly. I didn't think it was new stuff, but it seemed to lay out their theory out well.

[00:45:18]Yes. Okay. Yeah. All good. Yeah. I'm People That's such a sleeper movie. I mean, it got like I forget if they won awards, but it was like Oscar nominated like all this stuff. It's amazing. It's amazing. Um, but uh it laid out their theory. So if you Yeah, I would say that if you're wanting to know like, okay, where where are they going with this? Like what is his new defense team trying to say? This lays it out in a very digestible format.

[00:45:48]Um, so you know, there's that. A lot of the stuff was like a well how could he do this in broad daylight and this that and the other and the timeline and this I'm like people have done worse unless you know trust me somebody's going to do something they're going to do it period end of damn story. Um, so you know, I don't think I mean, who knows, right? But again, this isn't the Innocence Project, the main one. This is like an offshoot, right? Um, so we'll see. There was nothing in there that made me think, "Oh my gosh." Um, so yeah. Oh, thanks, Sandra. I appreciate that. Um, so we'll see. We'll see about that. We'll just see about that one. I don't think we'll be doing any kind of new trial watches for Scott Peterson anytime soon. Um, and I think Lacy's family is just like rolling their damn eyes type thing. Like really? But his sister-in-law, whoever it is, is that the sister-in-law of his, his former sister-in-law that's just like stand like thinks that he is uh completely innocent. Yeah. the van things. There's there a couple of things like with the van and the and the robbers and um and all this type stuff where I'm like, "Yes, I agree.

[00:47:13]Coincidental, absolutely." Um that is kind of weird with the van. Uh it is kind of weird that the thing was being broke into, you know, do I think that the robbers would be like, "Oh no, guys, we actually did kidnap Lacy. Of course they're not going to do that, right?"

[00:47:30]It's like, "Of course they're going to say this or that." Um, but I just feel like so much evidence painted the way. Yeah. Then and the detective destroying the notes. There's some stuff like that where I'm like, why would you do that? Oh, we got all the information we needed, but why? It's called dot your eyes and cross your tees because now here we are in this moment, right? Um, oh, wait. Iowa says Innocence Project was trying to give the Iowa corn rake murder guy a new trial. Now, wait. Are you talking about the LA one or like the real innocence project? I mean, I swear to God to this day. Hold on. Please hold corn rake images. First damn thing that comes up AI overview is about his case. So, if I was shopping for a damn corn rake, which I'm not, the first thing I'm like, Court TV, Todd Mullen's evidence in Amy Mull's corn rake murder. I just want a damn corn rate for the damn farm. And then when I go to images, the first one, well, it's all him. Here's a stock photo of some peanuts with a corn rake.

[00:48:46]Offer up somebody selling a corn rake, but the rest of them are all his court stuff. [laughter] Just like he is just synonymous with the damn corn rake. Um, it's just it's wild.

[00:49:01]That was a crazy case. Now, I would like to hear what they're trying to get that for. You know what I'm saying? Oh, you don't know how the corn rake went, RJB?

[00:49:27]Was it video or audio where he said something like and I can't remember but I feel like the the itch word was in there and um it was something like you you could hear him say it but you couldn't depending on who you asked and who's this and blah blah blah blah blah and you know there was I don't remember all the details to it. So but it was a wild trial wild trial. He definitely took the stand and he definitely got convicted of it. So, it was it was audio. Okay.

[00:50:00]Remember that whole thing that went around the W with the internet about is the dress blue? What was it? Blue or gold? Or remember that whole thing with the dress at one point that literally crashed the damn internet because like everybody would look at it and see a different color. I mean, I don't remember what the audio was in this, but I felt like it was like that where it was like depending on what you were thinking about when you heard it, you would hear something. You Yeah. The blue and gold dress. Y'all remember that?

[00:50:26]So to me, my my overall take without even remembering what was said on the audio was it was like that because you know how like if you hear something you'll be like wait what was that? You know what I'm thinking of this word and then you hear that word when they say it. So it's like to me that's what that was there. And I don't remember all the other outlines to like what he was convicted on and this that and the other whatever but I know that audio is a big part of like the whole thing or whatever. and he took the stand and I don't think he did well on the stand, but I can't remember. Um, and so I would be curious to hear what the outline is for like them saying, "Hey, we want to give him a new trial." Uh, mostly because I just don't remember all of it except for he was convicted of, you know, killing her with a corn rake or something. Um, oh, that dress broke the damn internet.

[00:51:24]Um, so he might have been. Um, again, I don't that's one worth revisiting. And I remember, and when I say semi-reently, this could have been last year's where it was like he went trying to get an appeal or something. I don't know what it was, but I remember seeing a hearing and I was like, "Oh my god, he's back in court." Um, so yeah, and Shandanda Vander's not getting a new trial. Thank the Lord.

I think it was the couch guy where the girl surprised her boyfriend at college and when they opened the door and like there was all these people in there and like I'm talking people did damn dissertations on this y'all about this girl was next to him and moved her left hand here and then his eyes went here when he hugged his girlfriend. I mean, this melted the internet down for a minute. I mean, it's still like a anytime I hear that song, the sound bite that went with it, I think of that. Um, it's so funny how some of these things will just catch on or whatever, and it just blows up everywhere, whatever. Um, I know Sean says, "This is awful how many people are getting new trials."

[00:52:50]Literally, it's shocking. I was just going through I have like a a a Google doc that has like all the cases we follow and like a link to where they're what do you call it like their the court stuff you know so you can see like new motions or whatever and I was going through I'm like Barry Leticia Adam and I'm just like thinking to myself I'm like how are all these people you know so again that's why I'm just like well look if they're not flipping the the verdicts over for Scott or whatever it ain't going to happen honey because they're giving everybody a damn new Bro.

[00:53:22]Um, yeah, the Montgomery case. That is so heartbreaking. Like, and Leticia too, right? Um, yeah. Emily says, "I'm disappointed especially with Leticia." I mean, that y'all because you know, here's the other thing about it too. um oh is well I think both of them but especially Leticia you know she's just gonna she's like sitting here you know she just can't wait to just make everybody's life miserable without another trial. Um you know she's just look I mean she can't wait. Um yeah the Montgomery trial that messed me up too. I'm like 100% 100%.

[00:54:06]He's just he's a monster. Honestly, I was shocked he's alive. When they said that, I was like, he's alive. I mean, I was so surprised. What's like what's that guy's in Florida? Like, that's what blows my mind with some of these people. I haven't heard one. In fact, let's just Google it. Let's see.
