TRON TRX: Great Chart, Bad Time to Buy

[00:00:00]You wanted a Tron review and here it is.

[00:00:03]Tron, I see some big problems and mainly what am I seeing this? I haven't recorded a video in a day. I feel rusty.

[00:00:14]The $ 35 billion valuation now. The price chart on Tron is pretty nice. Like Tron is back to all-time highs. I'll give it that. I actually reviewed thousands of altcoins and I I kind of like Tron better than a lot of them. But this $ 35 billion valuation based off of sending USDT primarily on the chain and you know people gambling and betting with this and then when you go to actually look at Tron and what it's doing you know when you're talking about decentralizing the web Tron can't actually do that because it doesn't have the infrastructure that blockchain itself cannot host websites. it can't put an AI model fully on chain and because of that Tron has all kinds of these third-party dependencies that are built up on it. So to me the main narrative that they're pushing right now is inaccurate. It's just it offers a little bit tiny bit more decentralization just to send transactions but you can't really build the future of the internet on Tron. And for me that's a problem when it has a $35 billion valuation putting it in the top 10 of crypto. Now that said, this price chart is one of the best in crypto right now. Like this, this is one of the only coins, this price chart is even better than Bitcoin right now because this is just consistently went up and up and up over time. But as you can see with my thumbnail, I think we have a danger of Tron hitting a cliff at some point and then going down down down over time as well. If anything happens with USDT, Tron could tank straight down wherever you, you know, right off the edge of the cliff. If anything happens with USDT, as ICP gets adopted more, there'll be no reason to use Tron or at best, Tron will be used via ICP. Now, Tron does have some impressive metrics.

[00:02:00]If you go to the explorers, Tron has some of the best data in terms of just sending transactions, you know, millions and millions of transfers. But if you look at the transactions compared to ICP, you know, it's not not a lot going on. Now, that is because ICP is a is you can truly decentralize the entire internet on it. But what you can see is Tron, you know, 10, 20, 30 transactions a second here as I'm looking at this in real time. So for a $35 billion market cap, that's not that great. However, what Tron does do really well, Tron has got millions of followers. It has Justin Sun, love him or hate him, Justin Sun is good at marketing and Justin's son has just got into a lawsuit with World Financial, whatever, Liberty Financial that I reviewed before. And Tron, Justin Sun, if you go, Justin Sun's got four million followers, one of the biggest names in crypto. So I actually out of the out of the coins that you know is likely to just survive in the future, I think Tron actually has a better chance than most other coins. But the problem is the opportunity to get it cheaper. I was talking about Tron when it was a few cents and that was the time to get it.

[00:03:18]Like I was I was hyping Tron Tron up back here and I was buying Tron back here at like 5 cents. So, Tron has actually far outperformed ICP at this point, having like a 7x from when I was hyping Tron up before and saying that I thought Tron was a really good buy back here. I don't think Tron's a really good buy right now at 37 cents when it's close to an all-time high. I I absolutely detest buying anything at all-time highs. And Tron is actually close to its all-time high, which is better than Ethereum. And Tron is actually closer to its all-time high than Bitcoin right now, also. which means to me that's one of the worst possible times to get in. Everyone else has already got in before you. And uh the problem with Tron 2 is all the value from USDT holders or all the value from transferring that could easily move to something like ICP where you could do a whole lot more from it and that could absolutely drain the Tron blockchain.

[00:04:11]But all the USDT transfers don't necessarily even add up to getting value directly to Tron holders. Plus, you can't escape how much this thing is tied up to Justin's son and if anything happens with him. You know, if the some lawsuit turns out bad or, you know, he goes to prison or whatever, like this is is very heavily reliant on Justin Sun.

[00:04:32]But that said, if you all you all have asked me like what do you think is second best? I actually like Tron better than most other things in crypto. Tron does have enough money and the financial system set up to keep, you know, and marketing to continue surviving into the future. I would think Tron's a lot less likely to go to zero. So, if ICP didn't exist, I might be a Tron holder. But there's no way I would hold Tron when ICP is valued so much less. So, if you found this crypto review helpful, I'm Jerry Banfield.
