McAle masterfully camouflages a deterministic mathematical force within a sleek digital narrative, proving that even basic logic can baffle experts when framed with perfect theatrical timing.

Magician Fools Penn & Teller with Mental Magic Trick | Penn & Teller: Fool Us | The CWAdded:
You know, I use phones in most of my acts because there is an application for everything.
To show you what I mean, I need you to think about a random number that you are going to create together. Allison, could you take your phone and open the calculator, please?
Thank you.
Allison, could you think about a month?
So, any number between 1 and 12 and put in on the phone.
Perfect. Now, press multiply.
And think about a day. So, any number between 1 and 31 and put in on the phone.
Press equal.
I cannot know the results, right? Now, press divide. And think about a year. So, any absolutely any four-digit number past or future and put it on the phone.
Then, press equal.
I still cannot know the results.
Now, press subtract.
Teller, you know, zip codes in Vegas are 89100 and something. Could you raise your hand and show me a number?
Seven, okay. But, 89107.
Perfect. Press equal.
I cannot know the results and then press divide.
Ben, do you know the number of the real address here?
Uh no. Okay, I tell you it's 3,700.
So, Allison, could you put 3,700?
That was just a guess. That's right.
3,700.
>> you. Thanks for your help. And press >> actually. I just couldn't remember it.
And press equal.
Okay, now we have a random number that's only Allison knows. To get it, I need my applications.
Here.
I need my virtual assistant.
Uh where is it?
Oh, here.
Okay, assistant.
Hi. What can I do for you? Could you uh search a way to fool Penn and Teller?
Maybe I will search.
That's what I found.
Truth is, there are a lot of different ways to fool us, including some you might not expect. For example, one way is to do the magic right under our noses.
Got it? Yes, but could you find an application for that? Uh yes, I have the application mind reader. Have a look.
Uh where is it?
Oh, here.
Drag and drop mind. Allison, I'm going to grab your mind.
Okay.
Okay, Allison, imagine imagine a piece of paper and imagine a pen writing down the number and folding the paper.
Oh!
>> Penn, Teller, can I come right under your noses? Please.
Allyson, could you tell us what is the first number of the results?
Two. A two? Anything before? A negative.
>> Negative and a two. The second number, please. Four. The next one?
Point zero. And the fourth one, please.
Eight.
>> Eight. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, ALLYSON.
Thank you.
Thank you so much.
Thank you. That was so impressive and futuristic. Do you love technology? Yes, of course. Since with my new show, I work only with this technology to try to make more dynamic and modern mentalism.
Do you ever go a day without your technology? Oh, that's impossible.
That's hard. So, what did you do before you became a mentalist? Oh, I was working in an advertising agency. So, I worked like everyone with a desk. And one day, I say, "Wow, I want to be a full-time magician." And I started in 2017. You've never looked back. You don't miss it?
>> Absolutely not. What would it mean to you to win the trophy? Oh, it's incredible. I I come here to fool them with my visual weight. If it's working, if it's enough strong to fool Penn and Teller, that's unbelievable. I can't trust it for the moment.
Okay, Kevin, let's see if your magic holograms can become a real-life trophy.
>> Oh, nice.
Kevin, Yeah.
>> tell you that you just have one of the best-looking acts we've ever seen. You know, I mean, um 20 years ago, just your phone setup would have fooled everybody.
That would have been everything. And the funny thing is, now that we're living in the future, um that is not uh the whole trick. It all comes down to the number trick. And we know a lot of number tricks. But first of all, I want to say um that's not your phone. That's not a gimmick phone.
That's Allison's phone. We got that.
>> From eyes. Yeah, totally clean phone.
The phone is clean.
>> So, the number tricks, you gave us a lot of the numbers. First of all, when you asked the uh address of the Rio, I guess theoretically you should have won that, cuz I didn't know the address of the Rio, and I really should. But the Rio number's going to be a fixed number. The zip code is all but the last digit. But still, if you just had her put in the phone the number between 1 and 12, at some point you've got to subtract that. At some point you've got to do something. And yeah, WE WE GOT EVERYTHING. WE KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT this trick.
Except how you got those numbers. I mean, even what are the numbers? Cuz two from Alice, three from Allison, one from Teller, and then no matter how you manipulate those, unless you take them away at some point later, you're not doing a number trick. SO, YOU FOOLED US.
IT WAS THE FOOL THAT FOOLED US.
NOT YOUR DAMN HOLOGRAM, NOT YOUR DAMN PIECE OF PAPER. It was the number that fooled us, Kevin. It was just the number.
Hi, my name is Kevin McAle, I'm a French mentalist from Grenoble. I've always been fascinated by the human brain, how we speak, how we understand something, how we create something, imagine something. That's an incredible and marvelous thing. For me, magic should look like our everyday life. So, I use everyday items.
For example, in most of my acts, I use phones, I use screen, I use social network, and the goal is to have a more visual mentalism.
For my performance of tonight, I will use a device everybody has. A smartphone. Like all good magician, I have one or two trick up my sleeve. I think my visual style of mentalism can fool them. But, is it enough? Cuz it's so hard to fool Penn and Teller.
