The analysis sharply exposes the hypocrisy of political decoupling by highlighting the inescapable reality of economic codependency. It serves as a sobering reminder that geopolitical posturing often yields to the pragmatic demands of domestic markets.

Why America comes crawling back to ChinaAdded:
Okay, so we've got to talk about the US and China as Donald Trump is set to meet President Xi Jinping actually in Beijing. So these are the headlines and what Beijing has learned about the US from the Iran war. Long story short, China's watching everything the USA does is not just China, every country around the world and everyone can see it that Donald Trump's a That's basically what it boils down to and that Trump's people are morons also. And then more particularly, they can see how the US military functions or dysfunctions, however you want to put it, but see everything, the chain of command, how they select targets, how they're negotiating or not negotiating with the Iran, and just they're seeing everything. And on top of that, not only is China watching very closely on, you know, US Iran situation, everything in the Middle East, China seeing what Trump is doing to basically America. DOJ sees a fallout after a push to prosecute former FBI director James Comey. So basically they can see that Trump's upset about seashells. It is as ridiculous as it sounds, but that's what's going on. And I just want you to understand like I know sometimes in the USA you get caught up in that whole left, right, left, right, and fight fight right. That's kind of the American media, but pull yourself outside of that and just think about how other countries see the dysfunction happening in the USA. And in this situation, many people are are leaving the government because they're just like, I don't want to be part of the Trump stuff, right? And then on top of that, Trump's plan, this is their their goal when they go meet with China, is to try to convince China to buy more US stuff. That's basically what it boils down to. And I just want you to think about this in in US politics where Trump goes on the campaign trail and basically insults China every time.
China, China, China. Right? You guys hear and all the people start tuning, oh yeah, I hate China. Oh, I hate China.
Right? That they do it all the time. And just think about the reverse. Just imagine if other world leaders were to refer to America in that kind of way.
Like, oh, those Americans, those Americans, right? Could could you imagine that? That's that's what sort of becomes normalized in the Republican party to essentially insult other countries non-stop and then expect them to buy your stuff.
It's it's just not a smart strategy. So, this is actually how American farmers are feeling. They basically need China.
Listen to this. What are you hoping the president uh says to Xi and what are you hoping he comes back with?
>> Yeah, I hear you.
>> Well, I I think it's I think it's essential that uh they they continue to agree upon the 25 million metric ton at the very minimum and as you mentioned earlier that is not the full amount that they've done in the past. China is our number one buyer for US soybeans and u they are such a large buyer that if we lose that market it's going to negatively impact soybean buyer soybean farmers throughout the United States. So you know for myself and our multi-sentennial family farm here that I'm on as well. Uh it is crucial that we have these markets available for us because you know as farmers we're being squeezed on both sides with the higher costs that we grow our crops with and the uncertainty of the markets. So you can actually hear it for yourself there, right? So one is they have higher costs.
So you got Trump's war uh with Iran, which makes the cost of business, you know, more uh and then you have basically pissing off your customers. So then there's got no buyers for these people. That's the result of Trump's policy and, you know, non-stop insulting other countries. Uh there's another example then of the farmer basically begging China to buy American stuff.
Listen to this. I I want the Trump administration to make sure that the people of China and Gigi Ping know that the American farmer can produce soybeans, as many soybeans as they want.
The quality of our soybeans and the reliability of our soybeans are unmatched to any other country. And so I think that's a great talking point. Um they they want our products. Simple as that.
>> And so I mean you can see it in their eyes. You can see it. And when Trump goes on TV and says, "Oh, everything's great. we're such a strong position. I mean, it doesn't feel like that to me. I I can literally see American farmers, they're not in a good position right now. And again, Trump's whole strategy is to insult your biggest buyers, right?
It's not that effective a strategy as you can see. Um Trump's strategy also then lately is to say, "Hey everyone, we're going to have UFC in front of the White House." That's what we're tweeting out today. Wow, fantastic. Let's let's do that. I I really want that. Uh then we're building, I guess, swimming pools in the DC, right? Look how blue the water is. So UFC, blue water, swimming pools. There's more UFC as well. And then we're talking about, oh yes, we love war. We're sinking navies and such.
And then we're making fun of our political opponents eating hamburgers and pizza. That's the level of competence that we have in the White House right now. It's it's should be obvious to anyone this is like frankly insane. Or you have stuff like this. The Iran war will change global energy markets in these important ways. oil executives say. Basically, everyone's watching this all around the world thinking, "Okay, I need energy security.
I don't want to have to depend on the Middle East. I don't want have to depend on Trump for the fate of our country and the fate of the world, right?" And so, everyone's looking for alternate ways to do things. And this is actually weakening the US and weakening the US position. Uh Trump's going to say otherwise. He's going to say how awesome we are and how he's got a great relationship with China.
>> Very good relationship with President Xi. We've had a great economic time.
China has been great for us economically, but not for other presidents. But we've uh done very well with China. We're going to have a meeting with President Xi. It's going to be, I think, quite amazing. He's been a he's been a friend of mine. I got I've gotten along with them very well over the years. We have had no problem. We've had no problem with China and Iran. You know, everybody said, "Oh, China, China.
We've had no problem with China."
>> And it's like really, really weird, right? Like what are you talking about?
they're not buying our stuff and you're putting a basically a trade war with China and then acting like we have no problems. This guy's completely delusional, right? And so then you're gonna go to China with hat in hand and basically beg for them to buy your stuff. That's basically what it boils down to. And then you got to check on American consumers. And this is actually from the business news today. Why one of the nation's largest auto lenders isn't worried about high vehicle prices or forever loans.
Like both of these things sound bad to me. Like I Yeah, high vehicle prices, no good. Um, okay. And then, well, don't worry about that. Just get a loan forever. Wow, fantastic. That's coming from Capital One Auto. They basically want you to borrow more. And this is the US system. That's basically be in debt forever. That's basically what it boils down to. And keep borrowing, you know, money to buy the car that's really, really expensive. And then, oh, by the way, gas prices are up as well. uh they were saying here the median monthly car payment have jumped from 3.90 to 525. So people are paying over 500 bucks a month. That is the median. So the the middle point and then the argument they're going to try to make is that um payments are not necessarily a large portion of your income. But here's the thing. Let me show you the numbers first here. Share of income consumers are spending on their vehicles. So if you're in low income, you spend about 16.6% 6% on your vehicle. Median about 12% and then is this all incomes the average I guess is about 10%. So you guys can let me know in the comments if your car payments end up being about 10% of your income and if you're on a forever alone.
This whole thing is is crazy to me. And part of the problem with this kind of thinking though is that you're going to have a loan forever and you're always going to have monthly payments. And so they'll they don't really address the point of like, well, what if I don't want to be in debt forever or what if I don't want to get a forever loan, right?
They're like, no, no, no, no, no. You're thinking about all wrong. You should always have your, you know, from their point of view, a portion of your income going to pay the debt on this loan with interest. It's like it's so insane, but there's that. And so part of what's going on right now, which I I completely understand, if you are going to buy a car, you want some sort of value, right?
And what's interesting is that the best cars and and value is actually not coming from the USA these days. And this is an example of it. It says the 19 most exciting cars at the Beijing Auto Show.
And a lot of these cars are actually locked out of the US market because keep people like Elon Musk are afraid of these things. This would absolutely destroy anything that you know Tesla's trying to do because these are not bad looking cars. Here's the Xpang GX. Uh there's a bunch of this stuff. Here's a Gily EV EVA cab. Oh, that's interesting, huh? It's like a minivan kind of thing.
I'm just showing you guys. So, none of these are available in the USA. I just want to show you there's a whole other world out there that is that is basically being blocked from you. And remember, Trump is going to try to break uh brag that American products are so awesome and you should come buy all the American stuff. But it's like China's getting other partnerships and they can make their own stuff. Here's the IM Motors. We, you know, a lot of stuff.
This one be European though. Volkswagen ID era 9X. This is all in Beijing.
They're showing all these new cars. This is a Cherry. I think that's the brand.
Says the joint venture between Cherry Automobile and Jaguar. That is a Freellander 8. And again, um this is a Korean one, the Hionic uh Hyundai Ionic 5. Um I'm waiting for the Ioni 3 myself.
I think it's going to be a pretty cool car, but the five doesn't look bad. And again, these are all these cars that may or may not come to the USA. This one might theoretically. The Nissan Toronto um FEV concept vehicle. There's a Toyota BZ7. So that's a Japanese car. I think that is a high chance that will probably come to the USA possibly. It says Toyota Motor Company has developed a new EV spec specifically for China. Oh, maybe not. A sedan type that is larger than the Tesla Model S. So um again, this stuff is uh being blocked from the USA.
I guess that one's not coming to the USA. Here's the Denza Z convertible.
That's pretty cool. That's from BYD.
Interesting. So it looks like they pulled someone from Audi to make that.
That's a nice looking car. There's a lot of cars out there. And if you guys ever have followed the car market, this is something I just want to point out because a lot of people are Americans don't realize like some of the stuff in China is really advanced these days. Uh here is the Link and Co GT. So I guess that's Gil. Um Xiaomi's got another Wow, that's a nice looking car. Vision Gran Turismo. That is nice. Lot of stuff over there. Leap Motor A10. I'm in the Korean market. We're just starting to get some of the Chinese uh cars as well. And it's actually spooking a lot of the Korean manufacturers, which basically, you know, now you're in a competition for value. Uh, which you don't necessarily see in USA, like everything's like just too expensive and you don't get the value that that you just that you would want for your money. You guys understand this. And so when you have like more products in in the market, it just it forces everyone to like try try to give you better value because the consumer can choose anything that they want. Uh, the Beijing Automotive Arc Fox S3. It's not a bad looking car. Um, here's the Cherry Q3. This is probably going to be a more affordable one. Yeah, this says the price starts from approximately 8,660.
So, less than $10,000. And I don't know if this is electric. Maybe not. It's It's pretty cheap. Oh, maybe it is possibly the this revival as an EV. Oh, I guess it is. That is cheap. Really, really cheap. And they got this thing here, the Arage land care aircraft carrier. So, is this like a helicopter or a drone, I guess, plus your car?
Interesting. The Cherry Icar Robux is another one. The BYD Ocean 5. Uh, we have these type of cars here in um Korea. These sort of like futuristic minivan kind of stuff. I don't know how you want to describe it, but they're they're not bad. They're not bad vehicles. That's the BYD. Uh this is a joint, it looks like. S AIC GM Buick Electra Concept. Interesting looking car. Uh, and that was the last one. But I just want to show you there's a whole other world again outside the USA. Now, while America's trying to beg um, China to come buy their goods, I want to show you a little bit of news from Korea because people always ask me. Uh, it says Japanese prime minister considering visiting Lee's hometown for summit on May 19th. Long story short, uh, Japan and Korea are now getting closer together because the US is destroying relationships all around the world. And other countries are like, you know what, let's just form new trading blocks.
Let's form new partnerships. the Americans are untrustworthy. And so this is kind of what you see. And this is actually pretty big news. They going to the dude's hometown and just like building better relationships. Uh this is uh recently too. They were actually I think this might have been a few months ago back in January. They were actually playing drums together. Uh she I think she was a drummer in college or something like that. It just shows they're trying to build partnerships and and build relationships. And that's sort of what's going on. Other countries are building partnerships while Trump is isolating the USA from the rest of the world. than essentially insulting customers. And so that is a horrible business strategy and that shows you why we're are where we're at. So that's my thoughts on this. I'd like to hear yours and I'll catch you all in the next
