Worry about job losses in general, not AI job losses

And say I'm not convinced we're going to see mass layoffs from AI. I mean, we you know, I I I've done a lot of work in labor economics. We should be worried about people losing their jobs generally, but you know, it's not it's you know, I really doubt we're going to have to worry about mass layoffs with AI. But, you know, if we want to worry about people losing their jobs, that's a good thing to worry about.

When you go and look in the paper, there is a single line where they say, "We should We saw some evidence of some job loss related to AI." And provided no data as to what that was. I think that modern economics has failed. I think economic research has failed. I think many economists have failed. Justin Wolfers, who I genuinely admire otherwise, has become fully AI pilled.
