I'm certainly not your financial advisor. Now let's talk about what's happening behind the scenes today on Wall Street because this is one of the biggest and hardest um yes, signals or or heads up. Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation moving toward deeper tokenization. And for those of you may not know, it's been blasting all over social the DTCC is part of the core primary plumbing of the United States. They help clear about four whatever quadrillion dollars in stocks, bonds, treasuries, collateral, derivatives, so on and so forth through the money system each year.

[00:01:53]So, they're quietly the next version of finance right now.

[00:02:02]DTCC has been working on what they call their collateral app chain.

[00:02:08]This is what they're doing.

[00:02:10]They're rolling out, according to DTCC, the rollout starts in July.

[00:02:15]So, this is what's going on is they supposedly chose XLM and everybody's up in arms. All the XRP holders are all up in arms. What happened here?

[00:02:28]What? I thought they were going to choose XRP, the XRP ledger.

[00:02:33]As they're choosing more than one chain, there's it's a multi-chain uh settlement that they're going to be using. By the way, we have a long-form video coming up. I know I keep promising it. We have it coming up on this topic here. We're working on it behind the scenes, but yeah, there's going to be Canton. There's going to be uh Chainlink involved. There's going to be XRP, XLM, XDC's going to be involved with R3 Corda settling through R3 Corda. We're going to get into the that as well in the video. In that long-form video, not in this episode. But there's so much concerning all of this. Tokenization alone does not solve liquidity, of course. We know that. If stocks, bonds, treasuries, collateral, and deposits, so on and so so forth all become tokenized, well, what does that mean?

[00:03:22]It means they all begin moving across multiple systems, and somebody, of course, as we mentioned yesterday in the episode, is going to provide the liquidity for that.

[00:03:33]We're saying that's the XRP ledger primarily. We'll have a P2P payments and so on and so forth all settling as well for XLM, for example, through the DTCC as well. And others, XDC settling digitizing trade finance and settling a lot of that through the DTCC.

[00:03:52]Of course, only 1 2 3% at the at the onset, once that gets to be 7% of the settlement of the digitized trade market, you know, 20% 30% lights out.

[00:04:03]That's when XR XDC for example has the liquidity needed on chain. I know this is the big complaint with XDC right now.

[00:04:11]They're smaller. They don't have a lot of activity and a lot of liquidity on the chain. It's very difficult to be doing anything on there. Well, we know that liquidity does beget liquidity.

[00:04:19]Beget liquidity begets liquidity and the flywheel effect does kick in sooner or later. When that kicks in in this larger institutional adoption layer level for XDC, oh boy.

[00:04:30]Yeah, I think XDC is one of the biggest sleepers in crypto that people might be missing. Good morning Monster, welcome to the channel.

[00:05:31]Look it. We're grabbing about 10 mil per day if anybody's paying attention to these XRP spot ETF inflows AUMs. Bitwise grabbed 4.29 million yesterday. Franklin Templeton brought in 2.26 bill mil.

[00:05:44]Canary brought in 1.71 mil and Rex brought in half a milski. Grayscale brings in almost half a milski. 20 shares bringing up the rear at 7.98 thousand shares. Now look at we're locking up 904 million XRP in spot ETFs. That number is growing. Of course we could see that number diminish as well. Money could leave but we're in a has been for in weeks past but we now oh boy I did it again. I'm not sharing the screen. We uh we now are holding thanks to you. We're now holding 904 million.

Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, which is the DTCC, which nobody knew anything about until they got into crypto, including me, settles about $4 quadrillion a year in stocks, bonds, treasuries, blah Wall Street's clearing house said Wednesday it plans to connect its tokenized securities platform to the Stellar network, XLM, expanding a broader effort by Wall Street firms to move traditional finance, trad fi, assets into block onto blockchain rails.

[00:13:22]Now, tokenized asset assets custody by DTCC could become available. By the way, here's a little trick you do when you're the powers that be. Any corporation or any entity you want the world to stay away from, you make it sound complicated and weird, including your abbreviation of it, which is supposed to make it sound sort of more simple uh more simple, and it makes it kind of sound even more complicated. That's what you do when we want people to stay away from this [ __ ] okay? That's a little trick you use. It's a psychology game, in case anybody ain't paying attention to the matrix. Let's go ahead and get this going and see what this lady's talking about. Hold on now, kids.

[00:14:32]They also plan to explore use cases uh use cases to tokenize highly liquid assets such as major indices and US derivatives and things like this. Uh and uh US Treasury debt instruments.

[00:14:48]Interesting. XLM, the native token of Stellar, jumped 3% on the news.

[00:14:53][ __ ] It's up 30% on the day you're jagged. Though, that was only at that time. You know, CoinDesk is the the the not just CoinDesk, all of them, in my opinion, I have a right to say this. I think they flavor everything with a tone it down, this is nothing to see here, not a big deal, you wouldn't want to put any money into this one, kind of thing.

[00:15:13]That's the [ __ ] they pull uh if you watch, and that's my opinion, and I have a right to it. I'm not a financial advisor either, by the way, uh in case I didn't make that clear. Tokenization, the process of representing traditional assets like stocks, bonds, and funds on blockchain, and other treasuries, and other things, real estate, etc., etc., maybe IP as well, intellectual property as well, has become one of Wall Street's hottest infrastructure bets.

[00:15:35]Uh including bank executives say blockchain-based securities could reduce settlement delays, free up collateral, and allow markets to operate beyond standard trading hours. You effin think so? Let You know what that just said?

[00:15:48]Here, let me rephrase that. Uh as one of the Wall Street becomes one of the highest infrastructure bets, uh crypto becomes one of the blockchain becomes one of the hottest infrastructure bets for Wall Street, including bank executives say this say that blockchain-based securities could reduce settlement delays. We just got wind of this today. Uh free up collateral. We think it might do that. We do We're just talking about this today in the boardroom. And allow markets to operate beyond settlement trading hours.

[00:16:13]It's the rails they've been building for the last effin years. They're trying to make it sound like they just came up with this [ __ ] today. What the hell are you trying to kid? What a bunch of horse [ __ ] Let me go ahead and rephrase Let me go ahead and translate what that really said. When they said blockchain-based securities, blah, blah, horse [ __ ] beyond trading hours. What they just said is they're going to take that slow, clunky, freaking cargo plane with two smoke coming out of the two twin prop propellers, and chicken feathers flying around in the back, and the chicken cages and [ __ ] and turn that plane into a freaking UFO. That's what they just said they're doing. The push is accelerated across major financial firms and exchanges as regulators sing signal growing openness to unchained market structure. Nasdaq is developing infrastructure for blockchain-based shares with Kraken parent company Payward.

[00:17:12]While Inter While Intercontinental Exchange to not to be confused with the uh you know, owner of the New York Stock Exchange is backing tokenized securities initiatives tied to crypto exchange OKX, just in case you didn't know. DTCC, which sits at the center of US market infrastructure and oversees oh more than 114 trillion dollars in assets, that must be per day or per month or something because it's like 4 quadrillion per year, has emerged as one of the key Hang on. Oversees mm they oversee I suppose they more settle. I don't think that's really accurate talk there CoinDesk, that's my opinion. I have a right to it. Has emerged as one of the key DTCC has emerged one of the key traditional finance finance players pushing into tokenization. The company announced earlier this month that it planned to begin limited production trades of tokenized assets in July ahead of a wider rollout coming out but in October, you heard Nadine Shikora talk about it.

[00:18:18]That service follows a no-action letter, you heard her talk about that too, that came from the SEC that granted in September 2025 that said go AHEAD AND PLAY BALL, WE AIN'T GOING TO COME AFTER YOU NOW, CHILD, YOU GOOD TO GO. Somebody go fetch me my sweet tea now, child.

[00:18:32]DTCC is tokenizing a defined set of assets including Russell 1000 stocks, ETFs, and US Treasuries. Hmm, think that might be something coming up here. The tie with the Stellar forms parts of DTCC's multi-chain strategy where tokenized assets can move across different blockchain networks instead of remaining tied into a single platform.
