Regan attempts to dignify a partisan spectacle with constitutional jargon, prioritizing performative legalism over substantive analysis. It is a classic case of over-intellectualizing political theater to create a veneer of scholarly depth.

Critics Be Damned! Trump Debuts NEW Air Force One
Added:Oh, we got a new Air Force One. Did you guys see this? The president of the United States unveiling this puppy today. Wow.
>> We're going to take you for just a quick tour. Uh, the press is actually going to Oh, look at them. They're actually smiling. Are you smile? The first time I've seen them smile in years. They don't smile at Republicans. They should smile at Republicans because we're the ones that make America great. Anyway, but that's good. You're happy about that? We'll do it. All right. So when I leave, they're going to take you for a little tour. You'll see something you won't even believe. And you'll be spending a lot of time. We're going to do we're doing a lot of trips. We'll be going to Turkey. We'll be going uh at some point during the year back to China.
>> Back to China. He's got Starlink, by the way, on board that Air Force One. Makes sense, right? Elon hooked him up there.
Um and he's pretty excited about this plane because it's a big upgrade from the one that is being retired. This is the one that is the 7478 jet that was gifted to him by cutter. Let's see.
We've got the unveiling that took place uh just a short time ago. And what happened? He came right out of the plane and walked down the stairs to Lee Greenwood's proud to be an American.
This is a temporary Air Force One. I should point out temporary Air Force One. What does that mean? They're waiting on Boeing to finish the real one. So, this is just what he's going to use in the interim. I want to show you here. He is coming out of that new plane that was gifted uh from Cutter. It's worth about $400 million, the 7478 jet, luxury Boeing jet. It's now becoming the interim Air Force One. And uh they're going to wait for the permanent planes which were delayed back in uh well, they're delayed all the way to 28, right? So, he needed something in the here and now. And you've had a lot of criticism, right? The left is out there saying, "Oh my gosh, he can't accept this. It's unethical. It's possibly illegal. It's a national security risk."
And and the Constitution, of course, bans federal officials from accepting any gifts. You've got the emolement clause. And so they're trying to say, "Hey, he's accepting this without Congress's approval, and that's a violation." To which he said, "No, I'm not. I'm saving the US taxpayer a lot of money. This isn't my plan. This is for governmental use. And so I'm doing this on behalf of the taxpayers. You see him there with uh some of the the generals etc that are there. Um again there's been a lot of a lot of discussion about this whether or not it's cutter's way of trying to buy influence and he's maintained that no you know I'm looking out for the American taxpayer. It's a free plane. It's a free plane and it's going to go apparently he's suggesting to his personal library when it's all said and done. Oh, we got to talk about Obama's personal library. Ouch.
Okay, that's a one ugly piece of brick, right? Um, anyway, we'll we'll get to that. And poor poor poor poor poor Joe Biden. I can just say thank goodness that guy didn't become our president.
But, you know, look, the the cost of taxpayers is nothing. So, it's effectively free, although we are spending money to retrofit it and to make sure that security-wise it is completely up to snuff. Let's go back to the president talking there at the ceremony today about the >> our pilots, designers, and engineers prepared an aircraft that is the largest Air Force One ever built. It flies further and faster than any Air Force One. Those are the giant engines. Those are incredible engines.
Far it is the fastest. Flies further.
You don't have to stop for fuel every few hours. you you maybe will never have to stop for fuel. It's got they call it unlimited. Well, it's pretty close to unlimited and which is among the most beautiful aircrafts the Air Force will ever see or operate. You'll never have this opportunity again and I want to thank everybody involved including Tamim.
But every man and woman here today should >> the other one was 35 years old. So it was getting a little long in the tooth and the spiffy new one is what we now have. So this is a plane that the cutter just kind of had sitting around and looking for some good use and the president found out they had it.
They offered it actually I think to him and he was like well heck yeah why not?
I'll save some people some money and then we will have the brand new plane which will be more efficient because they can go longer distances. is he talked about how they're actually going to be going to China at some point in this plane. He's like looking at the press saying, "Hey, you know what? I bet you're going to like it. It's so nice, right? I did this for you guys." Anyway, again, new Air Force One on the scene.
While he was talking about Air Force One, he did get into Iran a little bit.
Don't forget Iran, that deal is apparently still happening.
But, you know, the big ceremony that they were going to have in Geneva today, that didn't happen.
I mean, I kind of thought, dare I say, when they were sending JD Vance, I thought, oh, you know, I'm wondering if he's really going to go and sign it because Marco wasn't going and the president certainly wasn't going. And so, it's a little easier to pull back with JD. The stakes are less high, which told me I wonder if they're really going to see this thing to fruition as early as this week. apparently they need to really finesse some of the points and so JD is uh holding back >> and uh all of the people I mean uh we have the greatest military anywhere in the world and you saw that in Iran where in one week virtually we knocked out their entire navy their entire air force their anti-missile weapons their radar we knocked out everything. Now, some of the fake news would say, "Oh, we didn't do it fast enough or so. We took about a week." We're a little spoiled by Venezuela, but equal. I would say equal.
And now we have uh an agreement that was signed last night and it's 60 days. They have to make a deal otherwise we we will do things that won't make them happy.
But I don't think it's going to get to that. I think it's going to be very good. Remember, if we do that, then all of a sudden, you're not going to have the oil flowing out of the straight too quickly because people that own billion-dollar ships don't love missiles flying over them. Don't love mines all over the water. And uh this is going to be amazing what's happening now because we have the greatest economy that we've ever had. We have 19.2 2 trillion dollars coming into our country from other countries and people but a lot of other countries they're coming in including uh Qatar who was so nice and >> so he's talking about Qatar there um look does this deal happen I think some version of this deal happens I really do I think that there are a lot of reasons why they want this to happen I think he's absolutely correct to say he did a lot more than Barack Obama did when it comes to taking out the military. Heck, they took out leadership team number one, leadership team number two. I also understand and appreciate that there's some concern that the UN is going to have some jurisdiction over this and that there's some fear that they're not having to do quite as much as we want them to do and yet we're going to relax the embargo. I would also say again in the spirit of realism, we need to make sure that we're not looking at an eternal picture of higher and higher and higher gas prices, right? Like that's just the political reality of the situation. So I think this president is forced up against it in that he did what he could to make sure that they didn't have the nuclear weapon. He did what he could to ensure that he took out all military strength that they may have thus far assembled. They get they got rid of the navy. They got rid of the army. they really just have a few little, you know, rafts that are causing a lot of havoc. And so that is the plus side of this. So, does it get done? I actually do think it gets done. I mean, it could be volatile for the next 60 days, so buckle up, you know, especially in terms of your investments as you watch them all. But again, he did a lot more in some ways than Barack Obama. So, a lot of people are comparing this to Obama's deal and saying, "Well, which one was better?" He wants you to know.
Well, he wants you to know. Of course.
Of course. Nobrainer. Let's go back to Axio in their interview.
>> You know, I hear the the uh JCPOA, the the Obama nuclear catastrophe, which was so bad. When Obama left, he didn't hit their military.
>> Sure.
>> He didn't damage their navy or destroy their air force. I destroyed the air force. I destroyed their anti-aircraft weapons. That's why we were flying over there totally unimpeded. We turned off all the stealth. They couldn't do a damn thing. He didn't do any of that stuff.
He didn't kill their leadership. I did twice. Two and a half times to be exact.
He didn't do anything to Salamani. I killed Salamani.
>> And you killed the Ayatollah.
>> And I killed the Ayatollah.
>> Number of IRGC officials.
>> And I sadly hurt the other Ayatollah who's who I >> who's apparently not in very good shape.
So gosh darn it. Um, we'll see how it shakes out as we get into next week. I'm watching the markets very, very carefully, obviously, because a lot of what's happening is really shown to you in those markets. And by the way, if you aren't investing, you need to be. If you're ever like, I don't even know what to invest in, take a look at my model portfolios. It's 76 Research. These are three different portfolios that my colleague and co-founder Rob Horton and I put together. American Resilience, Inflation Protection, Income Builder, and you can see lots of great success stories for those stocks, 10 to 15 in each of these portfolios, and they kind of serve different needs, right?
American Resistance is a little bit more into growth, of course. Resilience, what am I saying? I got the military on my mind. Inflation protection is about really making sure that you're protected, including um with the debasement trade, right? because I I anticipate a lot more of that happening as we go into greater and greater productivity with AI. And then the income builder really if you want a more conservative approach to investing and you want to be able to have some income coming in in your retirement dividend income, those are the opportunities there. So go check them out at 76research.com.
