[00:00:30]>> And I'm Nishit. I am Atishay Jain's father.

[00:00:33]>> So, what was your first reaction when you got to know the amazing performance of Atishay?

[00:00:38]>> I think we all were very proud and very happy for the achievement that Atishay has done.

[00:00:44]It It's been a lot of hard work which has paid off rich dividends after so much of uh uh hard work, yes.

[00:00:53]>> True, absolutely. I'm sure this journey must not have been an easy one for you as well. I know Atishay's uh academic success journey, the lot of credit goes to you and the support system that you provided. So, we would like to know in terms of how uh Atishay's success journey started at Allen, what made you choose Allen to begin this preparation journey for JEE Advanced?

[00:01:18]>> So, Atishay was uh from the very early age uh bit of a gifted student and we knew that he has an interest and flair in science.

[00:01:27]So, I was looking uh from eighth standard onwards, I was looking that I have to put it in in somewhere where he'll have hone his skills in science. So, Allen was the preferred choice for us when we searched around all the competitive coaching centers because Allen is a market leader um and there is a lot of professional approach which I found out with a lot of after a lot of conversation with lot of people.

[00:01:53]>> True.

[00:01:54]>> So, Allen was the first choice for us any day.

[00:01:57]>> Glad to know that. When you started this journey, I'm sure there are a lot of challenges that you must have also faced, some sacrifices that you would have to do while Atisha was busy preparing for JEE Advanced. Would you like to share those as well?

[00:02:11]>> Uh I I will not say sacrifices per se, yeah, but adjustments definitely you need to make because Atisha was in the weekend batch, we both were working. So, weekends were the only time we could have as a family.

[00:02:24]>> True.

[00:02:24]>> But we always ensured that our timings, our plans for the weekends are made around the timings of his classes, that that should not be impacted.

[00:02:33]>> Absolutely.

[00:02:33]>> If he has crucial exams, anything important going on in center, we do not even plan anything. So, we used to be around him at least those days where we feel he might need because post the exam, I feel definitely a child needs more support.

[00:02:46]>> Absolutely.

[00:02:47]>> Being around. So, we always ensured after his exams and just before the exams or even regular classes, we are there with him. So, I'll say those kind of adjustments, yes, we made. Plus, at home, this this journey is really crucial. This journey is at times tiring also. So, at homes also at home also we used to make it very like cordial environment for him.

[00:03:07]>> Right.

[00:03:07]>> Which soothes him, which gives him his me time properly so that he can just gel and the journey becomes smooth for him.

[00:03:14]>> I completely agree.

[00:03:16]Uh sir, one more common thing which comes to us from lot of parents is that when they are deciding to take this first step, right, to actually start their kids uh JEE preparation journey.

[00:03:27]Lot of factors they consider are in terms of how the student would be able to deal with the academic pressure, right? What all ways a parent can support a child in terms of stress management, being able to handle the academic pressure. So, were there any specific things that you did that helped Atisha actually achieve this goal?

[00:03:48]>> So, I think one thing that parents uh to understand is that uh they have to be friendly with their kid and not enforce their own opinions all the time. They have to understand what the kids really is good at, what he's not good at, and be friendly with him and be a guide rather than a, you know, enforcing character.

[00:04:09]>> Absolutely.

[00:04:09]>> So, um what we did, as I said, Atishay, we knew that he has the potential, and what he only needs is a right guidance, and he will do the hard work. So, proper guidance and hard work will carry him through. So, that is what has happened, and I'll only suggest that people should actually guide them and be as friendly and as supportive to whatever decisions they take, because they they know what they want to do.

[00:04:32]>> Right. So, the guidance and mentorship that Atishay received at Allen, how satisfied were you in terms of how that shaped Atishay's confidence?

[00:04:42]>> Well, absolutely very good, because uh the faculties at Allen um have been uh his backbone all the through, or like all through his journey.

[00:04:54]Uh both his faculties in physics, chemistry, and mathematics, all the faculties have actually called him up whenever he needed, and he has also been um you know, in constant touch with the faculties whenever he had any doubts.

[00:05:07]They have given him over and above what is required from the regular course syllabus based on his capabilities. They give him extra questions, extra material all the time, so that he could just excel in whatever he's doing. So, that support and was always there, and even the emotional support >> Yeah.

[00:05:22]>> they've also given.

[00:05:23]>> Right. That is also important.

[00:05:24]>> whenever it was needed.

[00:05:25]>> Yeah. Also, ma'am, were there any particular changes that you observed in Atishay as and when his journey at Allen was ongoing? Like, how did he change as a more confident student?

[00:05:37]>> Yeah, definitely. I saw a lot of change in him because Atishay is not one of those who will have a lot of friends.

[00:05:42]Sometimes kids have a lot of No, he's not one of those. He likes to have some like-minded thought process people around him, which he gels up pretty well.

[00:05:51]And like Nishit said, the teachers there were very friendly even like on those areas also. Apart from the students, he was getting a lot of emotional support bonding from the teachers also.

[00:06:04]And definitely the students like that made a nice gang for him. There I could see yes, this is a place he was not only just studying.

[00:06:12]>> True.

[00:06:13]>> He's enjoying. He's talking to them, going out with them. He's enjoying and creating his own area where he's feeling comfortable. So that area was missing somewhere I'll say in his earlier stages because there were very few like-minded friends he used to have.

[00:06:27]>> Yeah.

[00:06:28]>> But now he was like getting into a gang which he is enjoying.

[00:06:32]>> It's nice to know that the environment that Atishay shaped at Allen really brought about that change for him.

[00:06:38]>> So even the teachers like I said, they ensured weekends they used to go out and have cricket sessions.

[00:06:44]>> Yeah.

[00:06:44]>> Teachers and students together. So that was nice bonding activities they were doing together. So all these areas all these things I'd say brought other aspects out from Atishay just from being into a student.

[00:06:57]>> Absolutely.

[00:06:57]>> That helped.

[00:06:58]>> So for all the parents who are still wondering whether they should take this step, right, of how much Allen would be preferable in their students' JEE preparation journey, what would you like to say to parents of future JEE aspirants?

[00:07:11]>> So I think parents should definitely consider Allen as their preferred and first choice because it has been giving consistent results over the years. And it's not possible without structured course curriculum, guided faculties, guided mentors.

[00:07:29]Like over what over 30 years I think they've been doing the same thing. So I think I mean there is there's no reason to believe that there is that kids will not enhance in their overall personality once they join Allen. So, I think Allen should be the first preferred choice and we are very happy with the overall environment with Allen which we have received.
