GLP-1 medications like Mounjaro and Tirzepatide can help individuals achieve significant weight loss and improved blood glucose control, but the journey involves managing side effects, maintaining consistency, and focusing on non-scale victories rather than daily weight fluctuations; community support and honest sharing of experiences play crucial roles in staying motivated and successful on this health journey.

👉 Memorial Day GLP-1 LIVE Update - - Real MotivationAdded:
Good afternoon, everyone. Happy Memorial Day, May 25th, 2026.
I'm Grant Campbell, and this is Kristy Campbell.
>> and we're with Faithful GLP-1 Journey.
Uh today isn't just another update stream, however. Memorial Day reminds us to appreciate life, health, family, and the opportunity to keep moving forward.
So, before we get into our GLP-1 update today, we would just like to honor what day it is today.
And uh so, we are going to play a clip here.
And if everyone wants to place their hand over their heart as we do this, I would appreciate it. And we're going to stand as well, and just honor what today is as Memorial Day 2026.
>> [snorts] >> All right.
Bear with me 1 second. There we go.
One more second. Got a little bit of glitch here.
Remove this.
Okay.
>> Okay, I don't know if y'all heard that or not.
It's supposed to be in a clip there, but it is being a little bit contrary, but we I [clears throat] don't know if y'all heard that or not. Yeah, we didn't.
Yeah.
It did not come through. So, let me try one more time. I just really think it's a special day and I want to do this right and StreamYard is being a little contrary right now. Let's see.
Let's remove and then share entire screen.
Okay.
Add to stage.
Okay.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> All right.
Awesome.
>> [snorts] >> Well, thank y'all for giving us a moment to do that since we uh wanted to honor what day it is today.
So, once again, welcome in. We uh are here to do our GLP-1 update for this week and we uh uh wanted to appreciate and thank everyone for being here today. Let's see. We got Sandra James Happy Memorial Day, Sandra.
Good to see you.
Happy Memorial Day, Darian. He smashed the like button. Yes, don't forget to to like and subscribe if you haven't. Thank you.
And then he's speaking to Sandra. And there's Nancy. Good evening, Nancy. How are you doing today?
It's great to see you as always. And hello there, Zombie John. Hi, buddy. How are you doing?
>> [laughter] >> And then let's see, here buddy. He's wanting to say Happy Memorial Day to us as well.
Thank you.
Hello, Traveling T. Thanks for taking time to be here while you have family in today and everybody else that has family in.
We appreciate it.
And let's see.
>> [snorts] >> All right. And then Nancy's thanking us for that. Yeah, I mean it it's such a special day to remember everything that uh this day means. So, if anybody wants to even mention some people in their lives that have served, uh you feel free. And if you have served and are here today, we thank you for your service and everything you've done for our country. Thank you. Hello, Barb.
Welcome in. Appreciate you.
Uh thank you, Sandra.
Yeah, I guess I could have sang that. I just uh uh wanted to be as respectful as I could be and get something really nice. So, we'll have to try that next time.
Hello, Mr. RE.
Happy Memorial Day, everybody. Thank you.
And then here's Liliana. She says, "Grant, Christie, Happy Memorial Day to you both." Well, thank you for coming.
One of my gaming buddies there. Thank you for being here.
And then Sandra said, "I feel an emotional I feel all emotional around this moment. I A good emotional, not sad at all. I'm thinking of my dad, Arthur Lee Clayton, who was a Marine. Well, that's great, Sandra. We We thank thank him and for you honoring his service today.
Definitely.
All right. Well, I'll do a little bit of update for me first, and then I'll let you go if you want. I um uh ended up getting down to 216 this week. And as is normal, our bodies don't always uh stay at that. And um you know, something Twan and off of Traces of Twan's Life was mentioning the other day too is about true weight.
And uh uh sometimes after uh exercising and such, your you know, your water goes up a little bit cuz your muscles are breaking down and and they're trying to heal. So, I went up a little bit since I hit that 216. So, I'm hoping to get back down there.
Um hopefully before my next appointment in June, June 3rd, I believe. So, uh but again, that scale likes to do what it wants to do, and that's fine. As I've said before, it's not all about that. So, um but otherwise, my my glucose is staying in line. I still average about 82 throughout the day.
And my average for the last 90 days is 82. So, um I was glad to see that that continues to be in good shape.
Um And uh reactions and and side effect was this week has been just fine.
Um I have continued to uh do well with the 15 mg Mounjaro, which I've been on since January of 19 January of 2025, and I'm on my 70th week, 70th shot today. So, we'll be doing that here in a little bit.
How was your week?
I had a good busy week.
Oh, good.
>> Overall, feeling good still. Um not not having any headaches really. Um kind of irritable, but no comment from you. Um but that may just be end of the year struggles as I've said before, but um overall, not too bad. Feeling good.
Feeling really good. Oh, good.
>> I feel I feel like I've been trying to be more active.
Um it's harder when you you know, when you're going to work every day and then to come home and be active, but I'm trying to do that as much as possible.
Well, you ended up on the elliptical last night while I did my our workout here and then you went again today. I sure did. I went this morning. You're doing great.
>> a big elliptical. I don't know what it's called. Yeah, it's a they have a bigger one and a smaller one that has [snorts] different feels to them.
>> Mhm.
All right.
Nancy says, "Don't ask me to sing. It would break the internet."
>> [laughter] >> Nah, everybody as long as you got a joyful noise.
And yes, Sammy John, we all must say thank you to all veterans who serve our country. Yes, absolutely. Hello, Life of Vivi. How are you, Vivian?
I love that name. It's a pretty name.
It's pretty.
And then uh everybody's saying hello to each other.
And then uh Barb says, "I've begun calling it my equilibrium." That fluctuates normally. Weigh 40 times a day will likely show 50 different weights. You're right. Absolutely.
Uh it's that trend you want to see, right?
Thank you, Vivian. I appreciate it. Then RE says, "216, that's awesome, Grant.
You'll get there again."
Glad blood glucose is doing well and side effects are manageable. Yes, thank you. Hello round mound of zip bound. How are you today Charles? He says, hey Campbells in chat. Thanks for being here buddy.
Then everybody's saying hello.
And Darian wants to know when is school out?
>> last day is Thursday and my last day is Friday. Woohoo!
I'm so ready.
Yeah, you said last day is Thursday. We probably won't make ours go past Tuesday, but uh anyhow, those last few days are I always thought were the more most fun.
>> [snorts] >> Was the first few days and the last few days, but our kids they don't tend to agree. They're they're ready to be done.
We we don't mind that.
>> We've actually been doing fun activities, learning activities, what we call PBLs and things like that about the our nation's 250th celebration. So this um this this week coming up we're going to have what we call the colonial games and we usually call them the Olympic games, but they're the colonial games for obvious reasons this week. And so I'm going to be a team director. So I'm going to be doing a bunch of games with a bunch of kids for 3 days all day. So And now it's raining all these days. You're going to end up inside.
>> But it's okay.
But Nancy says give you some give yourself some grace. End of the year of school can be crazy.
>> Yes.
Absolutely.
Hello Frankly Michelle. How are you Michelle? Hi all, glad to see everybody.
Thanks you thank you for coming.
And thank you zombie John saying congrats. He's glad to hear all that.
Awesome.
And then Darian said the fact he got it got to 216 shows it will get that low.
Very very true.
And 215 is the goal. So, if I can hit that and get to the doctor with that, I'd be I'd be happy.
Hello, Paul Amadeus Lane.
How are you, Paul on Wheels? Thanks for coming, man.
Hope you're doing well.
Let's see. Oh, yay. Anchor Moments is here. Hello, Gina and Jeff.
>> Hey. Thanks for coming. It's always great to see y'all.
Some of the first people I got to know on these YouTube streets right there.
Hello, TT Trucker. Good to see you, buddy.
Uh Yeah, everybody's saying hello. And then, and Grant, stop getting on Christie's nerves. [laughter] >> [gasps] >> No, no, don't.
True enough.
>> He's great. He's very patient and kind.
Often, not always. Oh, and always. I'll I'll quit you. I have it on tape now.
And he brings me Alani's to work when I'm out, and he brings me drinks. And he doesn't bring me food cuz I told him not to do that.
That's an ongoing battle though, isn't it?
>> Yeah.
Uh sabotager.
Well, that's not what I mean. I mean, I don't bring you something, you're like, "Did you not bring me anything?"
>> I do not do that. I do not. Okay.
>> I do not do that.
>> Okay. Grant's been trying to sabotage me. No.
No.
>> No. I would never do that. I just want you to eat. I do. Okay. Hey.
Do you want to get an ice cream? No.
Yeah, you do. You want an ice cream, don't you? No, I don't. Yes, you do.
I'll get you one.
>> [laughter] >> I have no idea what you're talking about. But, >> Uh kind of speaking of eating, we uh uh actually rediscovered something today at Taco Bell, of all places. Not always the best place to go, but they do have these miniature taco salads. Yep. And so and they're only 280 calories.
>> For one of them. And only three bucks.
Not bad. Not bad. So that's what we had today and I had a Well, she had.
And then I had a bean just a beef beef taco. I don't like a lot of stuff on mine.
But it was pretty good.
All right, how do I get back up here?
Here we go.
And then everybody's saying hello.
Am I cooking on the grill today Grant? I am not a cooker and Christie will tell you that.
Um and we actually had our kind of Memorial Day lunch yesterday with her her mom and dad. They >> It's been so rainy here and it rained yesterday all day long. It was like a downpour of rain and today it started out raining raining rain. It's been raining all day until just now right before we got on I could see a glimmer of sun for a little bit, but I think it's gone in now and we have clouds. So we really didn't plan anything with family just because it's so rainy. We're we're Well, I'm going to be at a graduation next weekend or graduation party in North Carolina.
And then the next weekend we're heading to Florida for another graduation. So um we're trying to kind of take a break this weekend and just simmer down and chill a little bit.
See, Gina says I'm crazy patient. For sure.
Most days.
I rub off on you a little bit, right?
Yeah. Yeah.
>> [gasps] >> I do not sabotage.
>> Sabotage.
>> [laughter] [sighs and gasps] >> GLP-1 sabotage. No.
It's never anything major.
>> Ari says, "Get on, Christie. Don't help her. Don't encourage her, please."
And then Michelle's saying, "You keeping it real?" Yeah. Yeah, I hear you.
>> [snorts] >> Yes, please remember to hit that like.
Thank you. Hello, Jean Ann. Getting ready to rain again. Yeah, >> Yes, you know. You've been here. We need it. We really do need the rain. We've been in a drought kind of sort of, so we need the rain. Plus side, I don't have to water my flowers, which is great cuz it's not fun.
Yeah, it's it's always nice and hot there in Arizona. I love the heat.
Yeah, she would love it there, but it's a little drier. We're more Florida people.
>> [laughter] >> Um we're we're heading New Port Richey, actually.
Um going to uh see my cousin who's like a pretty much a brother to me. I consider more brother than a cousin, and uh his first daughter is graduating, so we're excited to We've watched her grow up.
>> Yes. Yeah, they used to live here. She was here when they first decided to move to Florida.
He's a preacher down there, actually.
And then Ari says, "It's been raining here in Houston all month. It'll take over the heat." Yeah.
>> I'll take it over the heat.
>> he'll take it over the heat. Sorry, I can't read today.
Well, that's probably true. I have to get get that heat so much, but we haven't had a lot here, so we're we're ready for some.
>> maybe 3 days of 80s, and it was nice.
And then he had Zombie John's not getting Randall this Thursday, so I got you, buddy.
And then TT says, "Wait, did Christie say how she's doing on tirzepatide?" You kind of did. I did. I'm feeling I'm feeling really good.
>> This is your fourth shot today, right?
>> Yeah. Fourth one. Feeling okay. Not not too bad. No headaches, really, at all.
Um I have been a little bit more irritable, but you know, I mentioned that it could be because of the end of the school year Um but my husband is so patient with me um as far as that goes, so anyway, feeling good, doing okay. I think I'm I feel like I'm ready to go up in dosage, so we'll see what happens and the doctor says about that.
Uh and then here's Patience says about superpower. Man, she's Thank you so much.
>> put him in a classroom full of little kids all day and from 8:00 to 4:00 and then see how that goes. It's true.
Vivian says, "Christie, did you give your update?" Wait, oh yeah, that's what she just did. He is very patient. Then Liliana says, "Oh my gosh, my family is there." Yeah.
Oh, that's cool.
Are you meaning Florida?
Uh I'm right near New Port Richey. Oh, cool, Michelle. Yeah, we uh usually drive it down. We're going to drive it down straight this time.
>> Straight on.
Uh we're going to try to do 12 hours.
>> And congratulations to Abby Johnny, he graduated from Park Hill High School.
>> Congratulations. Park Hill South High School. So, that's cool, man.
Congratulations.
>> [snorts] >> Then Nancy says, "My go-to it at my go-to at the Bell, Taco Bell, is the mini salad with the with pintos and cheese, less than 500 calories and 18 g of protein. There you go.
Nice.
And then Vivian says, "Awesome, Christie."
Then Liliana's laughing.
>> [gasps] >> And then let's see.
And Darian saying, "My husband is being patient with me. He's getting him on my nerves and I'm trying not to smother him."
>> [laughter] >> Wow, how did he read your brain? I still don't know.
And then TT says, "Can I ask, have you lost any weight or the same weight?" And I'm guessing he's asking you.
Cuz I don't know. Well, um I feel like I've maintained more than lost. Um you know, at one point I would Let's see.
I'm trying to think about the last time I've been on a scale cuz, you know, I really try to stay off of it um every single day myself just because I'm like I get discouraged sometimes, but um I feel like from the time I started, I was like maybe 190.
>> Yeah, you're right, 190.
>> 190 and I've almost lost about 10 lb. I mean, I've you know, um maybe about 8 lb down, I feel like.
So, you know, and that fluctuates depending on the water and what you drink and you know, all the thing the things that you eat and whatnot. So, I feel good. I feel pleased with it so far.
And then um Michelle said, "Somehow I missed that Christie started tirzepatide. What made you do this? I've been away, totally missed this." Yeah, uh it was about This is her fourth week.
So, um Yeah, about a month, yeah.
Well, what kind of got us started on it was uh joinweightcare.com reached out to us to start maybe uh advertising for them to uh do compound. And I'm not on compound.
Yeah, I'm thankfully still covered with um Mounjaro by my insurance. So, um but, you know, Christie has increasingly gotten harder with her food noise and so, I'll let you Because of the sabotaging.
I'm just kidding. Uh that is not it at all. That's not it. Um but, yeah, the food noise has been kind of rough for me here lately and I think it could be I know I always go back to this, but you know, end of the school year starts and things start to get a little bit more stressful just because this, that, and the other and you know, um sometimes it's hard to give up those old old habits and you know, I can just be sitting and hear that food noise. And if you don't know what food noise is, it's just the constant um voice in the back of your mind talking about, oh, that would be really good right now. I think I would like that. I really would like that. That's just still sitting in there. Nobody's had any. It's been sitting in there for a month. Well, if I go in there and eat it, it'll be gone. Then I won't have to worry about it. You know, just constant It's a constant reel playing in the back of my brain all the time. And it has felt It has been so much better. I will say in the past month, um you know, one thing that has really helped me is to be active, but when the sun goes down and everybody start to get ready for bed, it's hard to be active. Um especially when, you know, everything starts shutting down and um it's not really necessarily as safe to be outside in the pitch pitch black exercising.
Um I do have a treadmill, but you know, I'm not a fan of the treadmill. I like to be outside.
Um but and to help maintain where I would like to be. So, I would like to lose maybe another 15 lb or so just to be at a weight for myself that I, you know, would be happy with. I am happy where I'm at now, but I feel like there's a little bit more wiggle room there.
Um And that's pretty much it. But, um So, she started off with 2 and 1/2 mg of tirzepatide compound and it's from this website I have up now. And if you go to joinweightcare.com/faithful uh you can get $200 off your first order of uh semaglutide or tirzepatide or or even some other things that uh Vitamin B12.
>> We always recommend you go to your doctor first. Even not not just their join weight care doctor, but your own.
And disclaimer, we are not doctors. We are not professional health care professionals. We are just a a telling our story for informational and entertainment purposes only. So, please always keep that in mind.
And I believe someone wanted that link. If you don't care, Darian, you may have already done that in in the chat so you can click on it. He probably did. I just hadn't got down to it yet.
And uh Yeah, just give it a click and check it out.
>> Lilliana said, "Yeah, our fans are in New Port Richey." Cool.
Cool.
And then uh Lilliana said, "Yeah, same here. I don't weigh myself much because then I will discourage myself for being too hard on myself." Yeah, the the daily weigh-ins, you know, to each his own. I usually do just to I like keeping my graph, but Well, um whenever I was went to the doctor, one of the nurses said, "It was probably about 3:00." And she said, "Okay, this is what your number is now, but you know, if you weigh yourself in the morning, it's probably um less than this." So, you know, for whatever that's worth, weighing in the morning will take That's probably your most authentic weight. Right.
>> That's the impression I got from her cuz she always said that every time I got on the scale. Right.
And then Zombie John just wanted to mention he has a broadcasting and journalism class. So, that's that's cool, brother.
>> That's really neat. That would help you with some YouTube stuff if you ever decide to. And then here is the link right there.
www.joinweightcare.com/faithful.
Thank you, Darian.
>> it out.
And then he says, "Please click and check this site out while we are live.
Christine Grant can answer questions."
Yes, please do.
>> All right. And then Michelle says, "Taking Zepbound was the best decision I made. Totally changed my life. Down 144 lbs."
That's so good.
Reach goal and exercising now. Yeah.
>> Fireworks.
>> Is that your confetti? That's my fireworks. Okay.
There we go. Excited to see your journey, she said.
>> Thank Thank much.
Hello, Twan. Thanks for the Twan's life.
Good evening to you. Great to see you.
>> in this bench is not the most comfortable.
>> Oh, you're good. And then Sandra James says, "I'm so proud of you." Thanks Thank you so much.
And then TT's congratulating Michelle there. Awesome.
144 lbs, that's just hard to imagine.
Yeah, Vivian agrees weighing in the morning is best. Yes, it is.
Hello, Jen. JC clan me Jen. Thanks for coming today. It's always great to see you.
Hope uh she had a great vacation in Canada.
Nice.
Yeah.
Yeah, Michelle says always weigh in the morning after peeing and pooping before eating. Yeah. That's a thought. Never mind. To get you down that one point or two. Yeah, you're not the first one to say that.
>> right. Getting that last pound off that with all probably help the old ticks.
There you go.
Just saying.
And then Jen says hello to Grant Christine and all the faithfuls. I like that term. I really do.
>> [gasps] >> And then Darian says, "I was in the bushes. Hello, everyone." Awesome.
>> All right. So, I'm going to go ahead and take my shot first.
>> you going to take it at? I think I want to try my arm. I've always said I don't like my arm, but I'm going to try it this time.
>> Are you going to be able to reach it?
Probably.
I will want to try.
>> Well, what are you waiting on? Well, I'm going to speak to Paula here. Hi, Grant and Christie. Hello, everyone. Happy Memorial Day. I will watch the replay.
Oh, well, we're we're not quite done yet, so we're glad you're here.
And then let's see. All right, D. I think I'll go first again today.
Okay.
Let's see.
First, I kind of want to say something Twan showed about a month or two back and I want to show it again.
Of course, this is the box my comes in. The box.
The box.
If you All right, let me get my shot out first before I dump it everywhere.
There we go.
>> your last one in that box? It's the last one. I just put in my order for my next one today and I don't know if that's going to show or not.
Uh Well, I'm going to help.
>> Yeah, I was trying to get it to adjust.
There we go.
>> See, inside the lid it gives you instructions.
It's so cool.
And of course, the shaded areas show your your gut or thighs or arms. So, I'm going to try that and it has some pretty good instructions there if you're new at this.
So, it's right inside that lid.
Okay.
If you can do your CGM in the arm, you can do the shot. You're right, Jen.
Absolutely.
So, if you can get a couple alcohol thingamajigs out.
I remember back when Grant first started doing all of his shots.
Who did them for you? Yes, I know.
I appreciated them. Go show off. Now, what was fun was when I put his CGM on for the first time. Yeah. Cuz that was like, I'm going to do it on the count of three. One, two three.
>> [gasps] >> Uh [sighs] Who waits until you're on your last shot to reorder? I do. Grant Campbell. My Well, it's insurance. I've tried to do it ahead of time and they will not approve it until that almost four-week time has um They got to has passed. So, go ahead >> you want me to do? And wipe it on Wipe it on me.
Here?
>> In the fattiest looking part there, which I think you got it.
There. All right.
So, of course, first I want to take the cap off like so.
And then I'm going to place it Where did you have it? Right there.
>> Okay, thank you. Place it on your arm.
I'm going to go ahead and if you can turn it for me since I'm going to wait to get on skin before I turn it. And uh You going to be able to If you want to do it, I know you get a pleasure out of it, so go ahead and listen for two clicks.
Here we go. Keep holding it.
1 2 3 4 5. All right. Done? Yeah, I'm done. You just want to show everybody your muscles. Yeah, that's it.
>> [laughter] >> Oh, I don't think I got anything either.
Nice.
Okay.
And I didn't hurt that time.
Awesome.
I did let it sit a little bit, too, so that's sometimes helps with the the twinge.
All right, so I'll put this in the sharps container in a little bit.
You're up, my dear.
Wonderful.
All right, did you get a syringe? No.
Let's see.
Tension is back.
Okay.
So, I'm going to go ahead and take these caps off and always face it away from you. I'm all disheveled.
Um I'll get the camera down here.
You don't have to. Oh, well. I think we do.
And you need to go ahead and get another alcohol wipe.
You're bossy.
>> Well, there's one you're going to open, right?
>> I know. Oh, okay. Well, then Yeah. Well, then why do I need another one? I don't know. Oh, I do. Okay.
Cuz we got to do that.
>> We got to wipe off the top of the vial.
Yeah, that's right.
So, wipe the top of this off.
>> [snorts] >> Well, my hands sure are a lot darker than my belly.
>> [laughter] >> All right.
So, don't point it towards you.
And go ahead and pull >> [snorts] >> 25 cc's of air.
And put it in.
Then if you'll hold that for me, pull out the 25.
Awesome.
And again, I don't really see any air bubbles again. So, nice.
And then you've got it. She's going to wipe that off.
And then jab it.
And she always pinches the area, makes it a little easier. And there you go.
Yay!
I will say it does feel, you know, but I felt nothing. I guess cuz that little fat bubble that I pinched. But, um afterward, I I I do feel like I stabbed myself with a needle, but not hurt not like pain. It just feels a little funny. But, not bad funny. That doesn't make any sense, but Awesome. And we actually still have almost a whole 'nother dose in there.
>> to keep that.
You know, I think it's a good idea to use all you got.
Yeah, buddy.
So, anyhow, >> [snorts] >> Let's see.
Yeah, if you can do a CGM, you can do a shot. And that really felt better than even my CGM usually does, so.
Awesome.
And then Paula says she did her stomach yesterday and regretting that. Major nausea, really?
Yeah, it just goes to show you where you do where you insert it.
Administer it. It Some people it does matter.
Yeah, Vivian says she hates her her stomach, yeah.
And then Tuan says, "Oh my Paula, so what are you doing to help with it?"
Yeah, that's a good question, Tuan.
Yeah, we Yeah, that's what I was saying.
It It's kind of something I'm used to waiting till the week before to order it, but you know, all I do is go on my Walgreens app.
And now that we mentioned it, I want to make sure cuz every time I hold my breath. You know, I I know I'm technically prior approved until February, but >> Cuz you never know what them insurance companies are going to do or say. And so if I see anything more than 25 bucks, I start calling and say, "All right, what's going on?" But usually [clears throat] Although, I feel like our insurance is pretty good because of they >> Yeah.
Yeah, it shows uh Here it is and it probably ain't going to show, but anyhow, in progress Mounjaro 50 mg price with insurance $25.
So, thank the Lord.
Let's see.
And then Michelle has only done her stomach. That's all I did for a long time. Then you start rotating a little bit. Then you start doing your stomach.
It just depends on Right. And Vivian says going back to arms Wednesday, can't wait. Well, there you go.
Uh then Paula is dealing with her nausea with uh Pepto, ginger chews, and electrolytes.
Cool.
And then Jen actually gets hers every 3 months, so that's great.
Uh it's nice not to have to worry about it with the script once every four ti- I once every 3 months or four times a year, so that's not bad.
21 days for her uh Michelle's insurance, yeah.
So, what happens if your pharmacy is out? Well, so far, I usually try to order a week in advance. So, today I took my last shot for the box.
I went ahead and put in the order, and it takes them a few days, but usually by Thursday or Friday after ordering on Monday, they have it.
Um Walgreens doesn't keep a big stock anyways, they said.
Excuse me. So, they uh uh normally I have to order it anyways, so thankfully, it's only a few days for the most part.
And then Gina says, "I have been doing 3 months at a time at my Costco pharmacy. I save money that way." Cool.
That's great.
>> Costco. I wish we had a Costco, but we don't. West Virginia has Sam's.
That's that's the only one. I do love Sam's. Oh, Vivi misses the sound of the pen. Yeah, I guess she's on compound as well.
Darium, I will admit nothing, okay?
[laughter] And Jen says, "I usually feel the med dancing when I do my arm." Oh. Hm.
Interesting. Doing a happy dance? No, I'm kidding.
Uh Oh yeah, Paula. She says, "Hi Gina, see you in a week." They're all going on Downsize Cruise. We were this close to going, but just couldn't quite get things paid off in time, so >> Well, we got to go to that graduation.
>> And we're still going down the floor that same weekend just on the cruise. So Hopefully next year.
It says Vivi, you getting back on your zip bound. I guess TT's asking her that.
And then Paula says it was the one arm man.
>> [laughter] [gasps] >> And then Swan says that would wreck my nerves to have to wait every month. Oh I guess you get used to it.
And Gina is so excited for the cruise. I have a big hug waiting for you. Oh, at least I got my hug from Gina about a What was that been about three or four weeks ago?
Then Darian says you can also call them and tell them you're traveling and you can pick it up early.
True.
If I don't have my Friday, I'll call them.
For sure. Well, not Friday, probably Thursday.
And then uh uh Jen says I do Vivi every since ever since 2.5 milligrams. I do the zip bound shimmy.
>> [laughter] >> That sounds like a short Jen. We need to do that.
Yes Darian, I do that for all my meds if I'm traveling. Yeah, that's a good idea.
Uh yes, join weightcare.com/faithful if you need GLP-1 or Angie support.
Thank you Darian, I appreciate it.
Uh Paula's got that hug ready for you Gina. Nice.
And then Vivi says Jen, I can resonate with that.
Swan says Vivi, don't waste your money.
Take the rest of that compound.
>> [laughter] >> Absolutely.
And then Darian says that's super smart Jen. Absolutely. Yes, she is very smart.
Very smart.
And then Darian says living through the shortage taught me to always plan ahead.
I won't be without my meds. Yeah, I was never in that shortage time, so that That's definitely a good point, Darian.
Definitely.
I agree, Paula.
Jen's getting better and better and better at that video game skills. She did a cool stream today, actually.
Fortnite.
While you was hard with that, Christie.
Hello, I guess the jabbing.
>> [laughter] [gasps] >> The jabbing of your of of yours, I think. I'm guessing. I don't know.
And then Jen says, "Paula, it's survival, really. Can't go too long without insulin." Yeah.
Sure enough.
And for those y'all don't know, Jen has type 1, so she's got to keep that insulin going. I'm joking about the meds. I don't play around with that.
Absolutely.
I'm diabetic. I'm sorry.
Um Darian I love doing every 90 days auto refill.
Man, I need to see if that's a possibility, but I just don't want to poke the bear, you know, the insurance bear.
Fr- um Michelle says, "I am on insurance and I have two unopened boxes in the fridge." There you go. Good thing for that long shelf life, right?
84 days and I put in my refill after 61 days. Wow, I really wish I could do that.
And then Zombie John mentions he got a flu shot in a Hy-Vee one day. Nothing happened. Well, that's good to hear.
Good to hear, Zombie John.
And then you're absolutely right, Grant.
They switched up quick. Yeah.
Yes, $25 is a blessing. Absolutely.
And then Jen says she's a Fortnite novice, Paula. I have an army of very, very kind legends that help me out a lot. Or would just enjoy watching me be ridiculous. Not at all. It's so much fun. I've gotten to play with her a few times myself and it's it's always fun.
It's a good way to to get your mind off of things for a little while.
Ari says, "Not sure if your insurance allows you to pick up every 21 days.
However, if so, it will enable a good stockpile over a year. I take advantage and pick up every 21 days."
>> [gasps] >> Good point. Jen, I get killed right away. No skill. My sons make fun of me.
Paula, we need to try playing with you then. You need to I used to play a long time ago. I used to play a lot and then they switched all the controllers and I was like, "No. I'm not coordinated enough."
>> Christie's still thinking of Super Nintendo days with just the little analog and buttons. That's it.
>> That's it. That's it. I can't do all the She don't like these two what you call them, joysticks. Where you have to move both of them. She She don't like that. I like it. I don't like it. I I've always been >> up or down and I'm good. My handle is Eugene 7000 on gaming and I've had it and I was thinking about how long I've had that handle for 30 years. I started 10 years old.
And I've had it. Don't ask me where it came from.
Well, it's a short story. It's basically back then with the internet, you wanted an identification that did not tie back to what your name was.
So, Eugene was not my name and nobody could ever guess it was me. So, you kind of stuck >> you down and stalk you for hours. The now people have their names and everything. YouTube and everything else.
Just the way it is now.
>> [gasps] >> Uh Ari Houston, I can get three months supply at a time that it won't let me stockpile. Oh, that's a bummer.
Then Michelle says, "I will I will get to meet you Paula on the weekend." Yeah, frankly, Michelle's going too on the cruise. Awesome and traveling T is too.
Uh and then Twan says, "You were out here the day before my trip. I'm going to see if I can meet up." Oh, that'd be cool.
All right, Twan.
Um Paula, yes Michelle, I'm looking forward to meeting you. Awesome.
Yeah, send that to me, too, Paula, your Fortnite name. I hope you have one and didn't just play under your son's names.
Yeah, Janet, it was so fun visiting with you, too, here in West Virginia. Great doing a video in person. Yeah, it was fun.
Her and Jeff were I just It felt like I'd known them for all my life.
And then Michelle says, "For those on the down size cruise, Lorraine sent an email with a link for us to respond."
Yeah, get those emails, guys, definitely.
Uh well, you need to make one, Paula. It takes 2 seconds to make an account.
Yeah. Yeah, do that. Do that.
Then Sandra James says, "I have heard nothing but positive things about GLP-1 from everyone who I know that's on the journey." That's so encouraging.
Yes, Sandra James, it is. And uh you know, everybody is different with it, but the overall benefits seem to be resounding. Everybody has opinions and comments, pros and cons, but you have to think about what your your pros and cons are. And I feel like the pros always outweigh the cons.
>> Absolutely.
Then Gina says, "Thanks, Michelle. Look forward. I'm saving another big hug for you, too. It was so fun meeting you in person in Florida." Yeah.
That was.
And Barb's going on this cruise, too. I hadn't seen her for a little bit, but she was here earlier.
Jen says, "Well, make one, Paula." Yes.
>> [laughter] >> We're all jumping in the game. It's amazing the crossover health, gardening, chickens, gaming, and GLP-1s. Yep, it's true.
>> [laughter] >> Just shows that we all have diverse lives.
Michelle says, "Sandra James, are you considering it?" Yeah, that's Sandra, is that something you might consider on your ostomy journey? If you haven't checked her channel out, please do. She has a awesome inspirational channel.
Okay, Jen, I just love dying. Well, you know, it's the fun you have with everybody.
>> I can't figure out the buttons. And Paul, if you're still here, we me and you and Jen need to get on the game sometime, too. Do a gaming live. We still need to do that.
Charles says, "I just got my PA approved prior authorization approved for a year and picked up my 90-day supply. I was worried they wouldn't approve it because I dropped below 25 BMI."
>> Mhm.
Yeah, I hear you, man. And and with the my case with the AONC, you know, my doctor is or my nurse practitioner is very skilled usually on getting what needs sent in to get it approved, thankfully.
Your glasses look crooked. Are they crooked? I know they keep reflecting everything, but it is what it is.
Gina, it was great, Michelle says. Felt like we knew each other. That's exactly what I thought, Michelle.
That's why I wanted you to miss Pac-Man Pac-Man lover.
>> [laughter] >> It was a good game. And they have that on PS5, too. I got it.
>> [gasps] >> Jen says it will be interesting to hear more about the Wegovy pill. I am hearing some anecdotal stories. Yeah. So, how do you say that word, anecdotal?
anecdotal Yeah, I you know, after being on injection, it'll be hard to get on the pill, but other perspective is those who have not been on the pill that probably would People who don't like shots. Yeah, and that's that's who they're marketing to, for sure.
Antoine saying awesome to Charles there.
So was Paula.
And then Antoine, that's a cute name. Yeah.
Oh, Frogger. I remember Frogger, too.
That was fun. Or mine, the Minesweeper that mine game that used to be on Windows 98. I love that.
Uh yeah, that's the game, Paula's picking, man.
Uh, I I mentioned that earlier with Zombie John and the New Port Richey's where we're going. Yeah, we're near Sarasota, Clearwater, all that. I I love the gulf side. It's so the water is so clear and and not too cold, either. Atlantic side is cold.
Uh, oh, Paula's getting some earrings from Jen. Awesome.
Yeah, Christian actually just got the new version of Donkey Kong toy. A whole lot different than what you're remembering, but it's still pretty cool.
Uh, it cost $80, though.
I can't believe how much these games are.
>> But he played the demo for a long time.
>> him play the demo for a long time.
All right. Yes, Nancy. Paula says, "I'm so old I remember Pong." Yeah, the knobs. Just turn the knobs. Bring it.
Bring. Bring.
>> [laughter] >> Sandra says, "Same for me, Grant, with ordering. It ha- ain't happening early, that's for sure." Yeah.
Let's see.
Not sure ordering. So, I you'll have to explain to me what you mean by ordering.
I guess medicine in general, maybe.
Well, hello, John. Welcome in, buddy.
John has a cool channel, too. Y'all need to check his He He sells things. He does an auction, actually.
And he's saying hi to Christian and Grant. Thank you.
Um, oh, here There's Barb. I'm here fighting with YouTube about my live issues.
Yeah, we got to sit down, Barb, here soon. You'll have to get with me before the week's out.
I'll wait for you to text me.
Yeah, TT played Atari. It's a classic, man. Or the CGO or the Commodore. Yeah, those were fun. Asteroids. Yeah.
And then Paula's speaking to whoever else she might miss. That's all right.
>> There's some of those games at Dave & Buster's.
Yes, thank you John. Don't forget thumbs up and subscribe if you haven't.
The Galaga, another good one. They have those in arcades everywhere again now. A lot more high-tech though.
Yeah, he's better, right?
And then I'm solving having finally figured out what I've been doing. Oh, you did figure it out. Cool.
Okay, good.
Good, good, good.
Q*bert. Yeah, Vicky. How you doing, Vicky?
>> [gasps] >> Barb had trouble going back in, Jan, and and after scheduling a live going back to that same live.
As yeah, and and you know, reconnecting or or just going from it instead of having to create a new one, but looks like she discovered what she was doing wrong, so that's good.
Uh we kind of worked on that before, but I guess it got finicky on her again. She does use a studio for her lives.
Nancy, I remember that game. Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah. And Twan says, "Oh, I'm going to have to play Ms. Pac-Man the next time my grandson come over." Yeah, it it's I think a free game. If not free, it's like $5. You can download it.
And it has all the different versions.
There's many versions of Pac-Man these days and Ms. Pac-Man.
>> [sighs and gasps] >> And then Jan says, uh Barb says, "Jan, they are there. I just end up doing two three live streams at the same time on live days."
Hey, you got on though. And that you come so Barb, so don't don't put yourself down at all. You do a good job.
Then Paula says, "Thank you, Jan. I need to get my address to you and pay you."
There you go. Get them earrings. Jan does some great, uh Yes, she does.
They're beautiful.
>> great, um clay pottery clay earrings. They're pretty cool.
Christie has some. She's worn them a lot.
>> Mhm.
Michelle says, "Wish you were coming when I was not on vacation. Would let me home.
I Yeah, we'll be down again. Don't worry.
Then Barb says, "And I missed you coming down here, Grant. Chris, you better be coming for apartments chat." We'll have to see there, Barb, about the the days we we get down there and then the graduation also. We'll we'll have to try to work something out for sure.
Jen says, "Oh, I guess I was referring the issues you mentioned above." Yeah, yeah.
Right, Jen.
Barb, we are when are we Barb, when we are on the crazy I I'm there the same weekend, you know, we're gone, Barb, but I we don't leave until Wednesday after.
So, I'm not sure how quick you're coming back, but uh um I think we leave either What's the Wednesday after?
Yeah, we'll leave either the 10th or the 11th. If we're going to be really crazy and wait till the 11th to do all night again, I don't know. We'll have to see.
>> We have to leave after the 10th.
Yeah, we might.
Yeah. I don't know. All right. We ain't as young as we once was, but I know.
>> [gasps] >> Vanessa, don't worry about being late.
I'm just glad to see you. I appreciate she has says, "Hi, beautiful couple."
>> Hello. So sweet. Sorry. I didn't get that. Alexa thought we were talking to her. I said Vanessa, Alexa. That's funny.
Uh I just do Studio 2. Don't love. Yeah, StreamYard is not been nice to Jen when she's been on. It It takes a lot of bandwidth.
Um Will you StreamYard if if the host is using it? Yeah.
Seems like it's a little better if someone else is hosting there on the bandwidth for the guest. I could be wrong.
Uh Paula says, "I heard StreamYard is kind of expensive. There's another source to use."
It is expensive. However, I'm back to the free version again, and it'll work as long as you don't need more than two people on it a time, And it won't record your videos and store them like the paid version will, but I'm fine with that.
I'm not too worried about it.
Um I can make clips other ways.
But Restream is another one I use for gaming on my gaming channel, so Yeah, I wasn't sure if you were I knew y'all were back the eighth there, Barb, but I wasn't sure how quick you're coming back to Orlando or if Megan had y'all doing something else first, so you'll have to let me know.
Excuse me.
And then Barb says, "I remember the days when no one told their own names on the net. That's That's me when we first started. I climbed on New Year's Eve 1994 and didn't share my real name for a long time." Oh, you climbed on the internet.
Yeah.
That's back when when you got on the internet, you heard a dial up. Ding ding ding ding.
We tried AOL back then. First It was still on a 3 and 1/2 hard floppy disk.
>> [laughter] >> The you'd put it in to get on American Online. And then we got on and it wouldn't work. It was on an old Packard Bell machine.
And we tried and it just sat there. And then it ended up That was one of the first times we had something charge a card for a subscription. And Mom was not happy that we had to pay 20 bucks for nothing.
How many hours a month does the free StreamYard give? I don't know. So far, so good. I've done one last night and today. And they've They're I'm approaching 2 hours and I I haven't seen a limitation yet, so Um but they were going to charge me $104 for the next month.
And I said, "I can't do that." $1,200 a year for StreamYard? Ain't doing it, Darian, I ain't doing it.
Wait, people use their own names? Aren't you afraid of stalkers? Nah.
Your real name's not Grant. Oh.
>> [laughter] >> Nah, that's what security cameras are for there, Darian.
>> [gasps] >> Yep, I still remember my AOL name. Mine was Eugene 7000. The guy running as you waited to sign on, yeah. You've got mail.
>> [laughter] >> So funny when you watch those old movies.
But Barb never had AOL, but every once in a while I would go listen to the dial-up song here on YouTube just for the romantic memories.
Uh fake net love.
>> [laughter] [sighs and gasps] >> Oh Barb, you're funny.
Yeah, I um do not miss dial-up. I mean, I tell you, now you got 7 GB download speed here in our house, and it's just so much nicer.
All right, Sandra James, thank you. Uh you have a good workout with Coach Meringue tonight, okay?
If y'all don't know that, too, Coach Meringue has a good workout at 7:00 tonight.
And then Gina says, "I was Gina Bena on Facebook for years. One of my friends thought my last name was Bena." And uh and they gave her first book to Gina Bena.
Well, you knew who it was.
>> [laughter] [sighs and gasps] >> Yeah, that's too much. I think 449 Yeah.
Yeah, you pay. Yeah, I still It's getting pricey. Like I said, Ustream's another good one.
And then Nancy says, "Josh Johnson does a really funny skit about explaining AOL discs to young people." Yeah, yeah.
>> [gasps] >> I tell you, it's funny.
Memories.
Yeah, I bet that's hilarious, too, Nancy.
>> [laughter] [sighs and gasps] >> Well, I appreciate y'all coming. Do you have anything else you wanted to shoot out there before we let everybody enjoy the rest of their evening.
Okay.
Well, again, happy Memorial Day to everybody. I really appreciate this uh time together each week. I um really appreciate the support and and all the chats and and everything. Darian says, "I always enjoy watching Mr. and Mrs. A moments."
Yeah.
I had a 1,004-in 4 and a 4-in 8 yeah inch floppies. I cried throwing them out.
Yeah. Y'all remember Zip disks, too?
They were like a disk, but faster. They didn't last long.
Thanks, Tommy John. Love you all. Well, love you, too, Barb. Great to see you.
And uh Michelle's saying, "Have a great evening. Glad I was not working and could attend." Yes, I'm glad. I know uh a lot of people usually work and so it was a good day to catch some others. So.
