>> Hey guys, I'm Cesar. I'm from Portugal and I'm 17 years old [music] and I just crossed over $4.3 million in the last month.
>> So today in this video, I'm going to ask him all the juicy questions to see how he even got here in the first place.
How much have you done total since you started?
>> Uh around $15 million.
>> Wow. How old were you when you started?
>> I was turning 15. Yeah. But I was still 14.
>> And why did you out of all the different ways that there's to make money online?
Why drop shipping?
>> Well, it has the lowest barrier to entry. So, it's a lot easier for a beginner >> and uh you can really learn a lot of skills. Content creation, marketing, team management, a lot of skills. Yeah.
>> Did you try anything before this or was this your first business?
>> No. Drop shipping was the only business I've tried. Yeah.
>> Wow. And when did you realize like, oh, wow, this like actually works.
>> When I started making money. [laughter] >> Did you start making money like immediately or how did it go for you?
>> Well, I had my first sale pretty quickly, but then I was in a period not making as much money until everything like took off.
>> Did your family know that you were starting this or did you start behind their back?
>> Most of my family doesn't know. Just my mom and my sister.
>> Really?
>> Yeah.
>> Wow. Okay. So, what does your dayto-day look like?
>> So, most of the days I wake up, I go to school, um after school I go to the gym, and then just work on my store.
>> And what are like the daily tasks that you're doing on the store? What are you focused on the most?
>> I'm focused on content creation, uh improving the offer, and improving the systems in the team.
>> Do you think that those are the most important things that people should be focusing on?
beginners, I think they definitely should be focusing more on content and marketing because that's the main differentiating factor between them and the competitors. But you also have um the offer and the team.
>> What does your team look like right now?
>> Right now, I have me as the main operator. I have my customer service team. They reply to customers inquiries and I also have a content editor to edit my ads and create some study cuts and that's pretty much it. Yeah.
>> Whenever you first started, your mom was helping out out a lot with content. How was that?
>> Yeah, it was great. She was helping me make UGC content. So, I was recording her and she was promoting the product.
Yeah.
>> Is she not doing it anymore?
>> No, not anymore. Yeah. Right now, I'm focusing more on other things and other ways to acquire content.
>> When in your journey did you join Elite Ecom?
>> I joined Elite Ecom right after I made my first $1,000 in profit. So, I reinvested everything back by buying the course. It was in 2024. Yeah.
>> Have you gotten a good return on your investment?
>> I think yes.
So, what inside of the program do you think has helped you the most so far?
>> That's a hard question actually because there's a lot of things that will help everybody. Um, first of all, we have Margarita AI which is pretty much Margarita but an AI version where you can ask everything every question.
You'll have everything answered for you.
So, if you have just a random question, you'll get an answer. Um, there's also other tools like the ad grader. So, if you're not sure if your content is good, uh, if you want to improve it, you can just put a content there in the AI system and it's going to come back with the grade and feedback. So, what you need to improve on, if you need to add more angles. Yeah, >> I'm glad that you mentioned Margarita because we've been working on that for a while. And a lot of people think that it's just like chat GBT, but in reality, it's taken everything I've ever said and learned about e-commerce and drop shipping and putting it into this brain.
I call it my second brain. Every one-on-one that I've ever had with a student, every coaching call that I've ever done, every YouTube video, every course module, I have over 500 hours worth of drop shipping content. And it's literally like my brain in this AI. You know me personally and you've talked to the AI. Is it really like talking to you?
>> Yeah, it's exactly like talking to you.
>> Let's talk a little bit about the first time we met. We met, I don't know, maybe a year and a half ago for the first time. When we met, you had made $100,000 so far.
>> Yeah.
>> We spent a whole evening together. I gave you a bunch of feedback from that day that we hung out. What do you think was the most impactful thing you changed or learned?
>> Probably the offer. Yes, it was mainly the offer. So you went home that day and you fixed up your offer.
>> I fixed everything. Not only the offer but also um I added digital products. Uh I started asking my customers like what complimentary products they wanted with my main product and that really helped to improve my offer.
>> Yes.
>> And how many products are you selling right now?
>> I started with one product but then I expanded my line. It's all under the same brand. I just expanded the collection to other products that are very similar and that my customers also want.
>> You doing that actually inspired us so much because we were only selling one product for so long and when we saw that you were doing multiple, that's when we started adding more products to our store as well. Do you think that investing into a mentor sped up your process and got you results faster?
>> Absolutely.
>> Yeah. Because if you don't have a mentor, you don't have like a a source of information and you just like there's especially in this space like if you try to look for an answer, you get you'll get so many different answers that contradict each other. So you need somebody that's really knowledgeable to tell you exactly what you need to do.
>> And why did you pick us?
>> Because you're legit. I watched a bunch of your content. I saw that you were different from everybody else. You actually knew what you were talking about and you actually had a brand that was making a million dollars per month.
>> There's a lot of people that go and invest in mentors or programs and they feel like the mentor doesn't give them the help that they need. Do you think that was the case with us?
>> No, absolutely not. Every question I had, even now, like recently, I had a question, Leo and Margarita were were able to help me like right away.
>> Do you think that starting a business changed you as a person?
I think I rebranded myself way before I started my business. But yes, business did change me because there's a lot of things that go wrong in business and you need to learn to be resilient and push through everything and anything. And business really taught you that and patience and everything.
>> What was one of your first big problems that you ran into when you first started?
>> There's a lot. There's payment processing, ad account spends, um supplier issues. There's a lot really.
>> Have we been able to help you with most of those?
>> Yeah, absolutely. Like I had issues with the supplier. You gave me access to your private supplier. Uh my ad accounts went down. You you have access to agency ad accounts.
>> Okay. So, there's a lot of people who are genuinely just scared to start because they're scared of losing money.
What do you have to say to people like that? You cannot be scared of losing money. At the end of the day, money is just energy. And if you're grabbing onto energy, like money is not going to flow and it's not going to come to you.
>> Do you think that you're stingy with money or flowy with money?
>> I'm absolutely not stingy. I'm very flowy. I don't I don't even care if I lose money cuz it's not going to end.
You know, >> money is an infinite resource and there's enough for all of us.
>> Yeah. Absolutely. And when you said earlier that you rebranded yourself before starting your business, what does that mean? What did you do?
>> I completely changed my identity. Yeah.
I completely changed my habits with what I was doing. I started focusing on myself, going to the gym, learning, reading, all of that.
>> You're a multi-millionaire in high school.
>> That's insane.
>> Yeah, >> that's not a common thing. All I'm going to say is that if you're in high school and you're watching this right now and you think that you can get to the level of success that Cesar got to, it's possible. It is not common.
Why do you think that you were successful so quickly and at such a young age?
>> Well, first of all, I think I'm very smart and I'm very mature for my age. So again, I'm very resilient. impatient and I I can handle the pressure that business throws at us.
>> You are a very zen person. Even when things go wrong, I always see you just stoic.
>> Yeah, absolutely. We can't just freak out. Like freaking out is not going to get us anywhere.
>> Are there people around you who freak out?
>> Yeah, my family mostly. [laughter] >> Is that why you prefer to kind of keep things to yourself?
>> Yeah.
>> Do you share with them like, "Oh, this did good. I did $4.3 million last month.
>> Yeah. I share the good. I do not share the bad.
>> Oh, interesting.
>> I not want them to be worried or stressed out or anything.
>> I think that you have an amazing support system and I believe you might be using your mom's bank account.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> Okay. See, your mom is going to love when I check you on this.
>> Yeah, that's true.
>> What would you say to someone who's on the fence right now about starting their Shopify business?
I mean, if you don't trust yourself, if you don't think you're capable of doing it, you won't do it. Like, but if you truly think that you're capable, there's no reason to be on the fence.
>> What would have happened if you didn't start?
>> I would be poor.
Very poor.
>> And what do you think would have happened if you didn't join Elite Ecom Academy?
>> I still think I would have some success, but definitely not as much success.
