This video provides a sharp sociological critique of how reality TV commodifies toxic behavior, exposing the damage done when performative aggression is marketed as empowerment. It is a necessary call for communities to reclaim their cultural values from the influence of profit-driven media.

"Baddies Culture" Epidemic is Hurting Black Women!
Added:Ignorant TV. All right, this is something that I don't talk about a lot on my channel. You know, I brush on a couple of TV shows, but there's some TV shows out there that I'm just like, I don't even understand how these people watch this. And one of those shows is the shows we going to talk about today, and that's Baddies. All right, Baddies on Zeus. Now, if you're somebody that watch that, comment down below which baddies do you watch, cuz apparently there's a baddies in every country. I mean, every state. I think there's even a baddies men now. [ __ ] baddies, you know. I don't know. Y'all just coming up with stuff at this point. But all I know is I seen a video going around circulating of a young lady talking about baddies culture and how it's a pandemic. So we going to get into that.
But before we get into that, to anybody that does not know what baddies is, let me just give y'all a little inkling of what baddies is. Now I know y'all probably wondering why Boogie Equality seem like this day. Why it's a little dark. Well, it's a little dark cuz we in the upper room. No, I'm just playing. We are actually at my mom's spot right now.
I'm in New York, know what I mean? So, I ain't at my regular studio. I got like my, you know, my basement set up right now. Um, you could probably see my my mom's chin cleft in the back, you know, on the shelves and stuff. Those ain't my chinlet. Don't be in the comment section trying to be funny cuz I I I I get you when I get back to my studio. All right, I'll get back to you. Um, with that being said, we going to be back to the studio soon. All right. But in case you don't know what baddies is, let me just give you a little This is >> Give me my phone.
WHEN THE I SAY MOVE, YOU MOVE.
[screaming] >> Natalie is that she's the one.
Regardless if you don't like her or whatever the case may be, at the end of the day, that's your boss. So [music and singing] good tonight.
>> So weird cuz you liter Hold on y'all.
>> Hey, first of cuz she had just attacked me. What are you talking about?
>> She smuggling you, >> [ __ ] >> It's me, Rocky, and Tan that I've been friends with for 20 something years. And we're going to meet up with my girl Mariah and Biggie. See what's going on with them. It's been a lot going on with me over here. and all of that. I had to talk to Biggy ass. So, we're just catching up on [ __ ] like what's T.
>> So, as y'all can see, they got the baddies plus size as well. All right.
They got baddies for everybody. So, every category you may be looking for, you know, they got it. All right.
>> TV [ __ ] [music] >> All of this mean we have a relationship outside of this baddy [ __ ] >> I just don't trust it. Like it it's been it's been on my part. How do I sound crazy?
>> Me?
>> Yes.
[ __ ] you >> giving her name like Biggie is crazy.
But listen, so basically what it is is it's a whole bunch of wigs and BBLs and um and exhales, you know, we can't leave him out. Um arguing, fighting, you know, and they call themselves baddies. Like in other words, bad bees, you know what I mean? Like we we they bad. They feel like they look good, you know? They the bad ones, right? Um the fellas want them apparently, right? But the crazy thing about these shows is every time you see them fight like all of them, it's the same thing.
It's a whole bunch of wigs getting snatched and and wave caps underneath, you know? So, I'm just like, how are y'all baddies? Like, it seems like everybody's just playing dress up in here. Like, who's who, you know? Every time like I mean, she got the she got the joint, you know, coming down here, you know, she got the baby hairs all the way to her eyebrows. Then they get to fighting and and and who knew she got the Lil Bowwow braids underneath. It's a Lil Bow, Little Romeo. You know, some of y'all ain't old enough to remember Lil Romeo. Who y'all like more? Lil Romeo, Lil Boww was always Bowwow for me. But they all It's It's a whole bunch of Little Romeos. Okay, it's a show with Little Romeos with BBLs if you ask me.
All right, I don't get it. The ladies love it. But the ladies are saying it's also a pandemic because some people are following this mindset. Let's get into it.
>> Man, this topic really got me thinking right now. But you know what else I've been thinking about? The fact that my subscribers are making money. So this subscriber right here DM'd me and he made $3,000 in 70 days. So I tell I tell y'all all the time to DM me if y'all make any money clicking the link in my description or the link in the comment section. All right. People are making money playing games. All right, free cash. All right, so um I told him to send me a screenshot right here. Here's a screenshot of his earnings. This is not a fake screenshot or anything like that. I don't know this guy. I don't think we follow each other. Well, yeah, he follows me, but shout out to him. Um and then uh I asked him, I said, "That's wild, bro. What games do you be playing so I could let the people know?" He said, "Bingo. All of the bingo games."
So y'all check out the bingo games.
Solitaire one. I made the most off of Bingo Cash, Pocket Seven Games, and Solitaer Cash. All right, so y'all see everything he said right here. All right, there's a multiplier on there, bro. Go check it out for yourself. If you feel like, ah, this is a little sketchy. Just check it out. See if it's for you. See the games, try it out. If it's not for you, don't do it. You don't have to put no hard information. Just an email and a password. You I mean, check out the games. Try the games out again.
And if you get a little funny, don't put no hard information, but just try it out. All right, I'm gonna put the link in the description below and the link in the comment section. All right, link in the description below. The link in the comment section. All right, yo, shout out to this guy right here. Y'all go follow him. Prince MVO. Y'all could go shoot him a DM and ask him like, "Yo, bro, is this legit?
How'd you make the money?" Ask him for tips. Go follow him. All right, but like I said, I'll leave the link in the description below, link in the comment section. Back to >> I'm gonna be honest, y'all. We got a big problem on our hands and I don't think we are collectively being honest enough about what's happening right now. I want to talk about baddies. And as someone who does watch baddies because I am able to disconnect from what is present and happening on that show and it doesn't impact my spirit like that. This is becoming and is a culture and it's not just the youth, the kids that are watching this. It's grown ass women that are mimicking this behavior. I watched a mother post content with her two young children. They might have been like five and four or something along the lines of that >> and she actually was talking about baddies and I think the sister placed one on the brother something like that.
You and she was like you just going to let that happen? You just going to take that? And everybody, you know, using language like catching fades. Oh, you duck and wreck. All this all this [ __ ] The bubble skirts, the asses out, the wigs, the poster girl dresses that have been modified in distress to add the accessories. You have people of all ages that are imitating this behavior and acting out this behavior in their everyday life. You're not gonna tell me that young lady that graduated and walked the stage and not just did a split but busted that [ __ ] open like she was on a stripper stage.
You're not going to tell me that this is not a part of the consequence of the baddy culture.
>> Yeah. Like I don't know what happened to like the cororum. Like it used to be a time and I know guys have always been really runchy. Like we can't sit here and act like we don't remember tip drill. You know what I mean? We don't remember, you know, the the old music videos and the ladies in the back like this, you know, doing what they doing and the fellas is in the tub rapping like this with bubbles around them. We can't act like there wasn't a time like that. But I have to say now it's like coochie, coochie, coochie, coochie, coochie. Everything is coochie.
Now I can't say that too loud because I'm at my mama house and some words, you know, I'm 30, but I got to keep it respectful. Um, but everything is coochie coochie coochie. I'm like, damn.
[sighs and gasps] Is there any more lyrics? Yaka chat GBT.
What wrong with coochie? Use that word instead. Still the same tone, same jingle, but everything is about Gucci nowadays. You know, I just miss the days when when when the late I and don't get me wrong, you know, this probably effed up about uh on my behalf, but you know, go back to rhyming about heartbreaks, you know, singing about, you know, you should have cheated. Not I cheated. Now they rhyming about the the the act.
The [ __ ] the [ __ ] left me so I went to his homie. Stuff like that they telling it's all in the songs. The [ __ ] men are out here telling their crimes in the songs.
The ladies is telling us the location and the activity they go.
I want to go back to how it used to be.
You know, love.
Come on. And I found, you know, I found you. I want to go back to that.
Times have changed. Everything. Gucci, coochie, coochie. All right. My bad.
I'm watching 50, 60 plus year old women online. I've seen several women. And when I'm talking about naked, I mean ass naked >> booty, >> ass naked poster girl dresses, all kind of [ __ ] on the internet. As shots, bending over, shaking their chest, all kind of carrying on all because not only do they want the attention, >> but they want to represent themselves in that fashion.
>> And I'm not I'm not here pushing modesty culture. I'm saying that you should be alarmed.
>> You should be alarmed that women are losing the art of knowing how to carry themselves.
>> Like, you used to have to go out your way to like see like a nip slip, you know? Now, [ __ ] is doing intentional slips. It ain't even slips no more, you know? It's expose, you know? It's it's it's a it's a damn I don't know. It's on display. They putting it out there. Like I ain't going to hold you y'all. I watched the Kaani.
I think I told some I told some of y'all cuz some of y'all watched that video.
But I watched the Folded um and Kaani is not really in the baddies aesthetic, but it was just a moment. I watched the Folded um music video and Shorty got she got him out there. You know, I messed around and I don't know where I was yesterday. Uh, but they had it was like actual like regular TV and they was playing the video again and they had it like blurred out and I'm just like damn if I was a kid I would have went out my way to find that. Like they should not [laughter] they should not be doing stuff like I just remember there was a time where like modesty was the norm, you know? Um, tights was the norm if you're going to wear a bodysuit. Now it's just like turn around and touch your toes is the flex.
Like look, I'mma show you everything but it but you going to see it but it's not it.
It's going to have a plastic over it but it's there. Like damn, keep some things for home.
I just I just and especially the ones that's married or in relationships and things. I just wonder like how do these dudes be okay with this stuff? Like everything of your girl is on the internet. She on Instagram turning around busting for her birthday. You know what I mean? And she talking about, "Well, it's my birthday. It's on the damn internet." If you want to do that for you and your friends, okay, cool.
But everything ain't got to be blasted everywhere.
The internet has poisoned the mind to the point where people think that putting your full bodies on there is like, okay, the internet is not a social security number. It is not a birth certificate. You do not have to put everything on there. But people have gotten to the point they're like, it's not that big of a deal. As if you are not putting your private on the internet. [sighs] But I digress cuz I'm pausing too much.
>> That women are losing the art of knowing what it's like to embody feminine energy.
I I'm all with the Betty aesthetic, meaning being put together, looking good, feeling good, body tea, makeup, wigs, whatever works for you. But at what point do we not recognize exactly how toxic this [ __ ] is? And it is truly disheartening to watch this culture primarily amongst black women.
>> You are not seeing the amount of women that are non black engaging in this behavior and culture as you are seeing black women. And I cannot stress to you all enough that there has been a systematic program set up so that we can maintain a certain level of ignorance and that be perpetuated amongst our culture. We damn >> the same way they do it with the guys with pushing rap music, pushing gang banging and um you know just all the debauchery that they push in the music and these execs they're like oo yeah he said he killed about four guys. Did you hear that, pal? Yeah, we need to put him on all airways. Yeah, we need to get that out there. That's some good stuff.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But my guys say, you know, he had a triple homicide one night. You know, he he did the time and beat the case. Listen to this track. Oh yeah, that's a that's that's a good one.
That'll influence the crowd. You know, the same way they do that to the guys now they Oh, she round up by her booty hole. Oh yeah, we need to get that out there. We need to have everybody influence the you know coochie coochie coochie. So they doing the same thing.
>> They are so far so far behind and so far removed from what it looks like to truly have decorum and selfrespect. We got men fighting on betties calling each other [ __ ] and hoes. Grown ass men. A cast full of men.
You got people's grandmothers. I saw someone post a video with her grandb babies and she had on a full lace dress with a thong on. The entire video was her holding and walking with her grandbabies [clears throat] while the camera was basically watching her walk away. Straight ass.
>> Grandchildren, too.
>> That's ridiculous.
>> This is not just a TV show. This has become a very toxic culture that is really compromising our community and it should not be taken lightly because you think, "Oh, it's the young kids doing what young kids do." But no, that [ __ ] is really rotting away at everything that creates a solid value system. And >> listen, that's the end of the video.
Well, I love how end it.
>> Nobody seems to be as alarmed as they should be.
>> And this is what I want to say to that, right? As black people, we have to stand for something. If we don't stand for something, we literally will stand for nothing. And anything that people want to push to us will be pushed on to us.
Like, there has to be a point where we say, just because this is popular, where is this coming from? Like, is this poison or is this healthy? Because when you look at other cultures, a lot of that stuff, I mean, don't get me wrong, other cultures have they they ratchet [ __ ] too. Don't get me wrong. But for the most part, a lot of these cultures have some type of like moral compass to the where they're like, "Nah, we not doing that around here. None. Get that get that from around here." Mm- You know, or they put the people that are into that, they kind of put them on an island. They don't let it infect everybody. And I would say with my people, we a lot of people get infected by BS, by [ __ ] because there's not enough whistleblowers. And then one thing I hate is when there is a whistleblower, somebody says that's antilack. That's not antilack. Now, I mean, we're trying to save the direction that this is eventually going to bring us to, you know. Um, so I think we just need to be a little bit more coherent of the games that are being played against us, you know. Just like I sat there and I joked about the what they do with the black men, you know, in the music, the black boys with the music. now what they're doing with the black girls with these shows you I mean with the music you know we have to turn it off we have the power to say we're not watching this you know if if somebody going to watch this let them be encouraging other cultures but we're not indulging in this but just because it's us up there on the screen rapping it us up there on the screen talking about it or it's us on the screen on the show does not mean we need to support it and catch this one thing if we're watching a show. But it's another thing when you call it reality TV, like this is actually something that's happening now. You have people thinking like, "Oh, I want to live my life like that. I'm watching their life in real time." When realistically, these girls, this fighting is scripted. I always say, "What if they had a show full of girls that had therapy? The show would be very boring." No, they need these curated toxic moments. I mean, so now we see it or um young girls see it or older women see it and you know, people see it in general and they're like, I want to live like that. I'm gonna have that kind of attitude. That is allowing the poison to come through the TV to you. The same way people listen to music and be like, yeah, I'm about to go on a drill just off of some [ __ ] they was listening to. You're not even from there. You from the suburbs, you know? So, I just think at some point in time, like we have to put our foot down and say, "No, we are pro." I tell y'all this all the time. We are protesting against the debauchery. You know what I mean? Anybody that's playing against the evolution of what black people are trying to become, you know, as a conglomerate, we are not we not with that, you know? We kicking that out. We kicking that down the door, you know. Um or we kicking that out of the door, I should say. So, it's pretty much how I say that. But anyways, man, it's been your boy Tai Boogie. Make sure that like button, subscribe button, turn on my post notifications, and all that good stuff. Also, I'm using a different mic.
So, if I sound a little different, that's why I seen somebody say, "L mic."
And I also seen somebody else say, "Yo, throw away that $300 mic cuz you sound the same on this $50 mic." So, shout out to I have a, you know, y'all feel, you know, but this is all I got right now.
You know, I actually brought my other mic, but one of the wires don't work.
So, the only way it will work is back at home. You know, unless I buy a whole damn setup and I'm not spending that much money. I'm only going to be out here for a couple of maybe a couple of weeks or just a week. So anyways y'all, it's been your boy Tai Boogie. Make sure you hit that like button, subscribe, turn on my post notifications, all that good stuff. Like I said, I'm I'mma try to still give y'all content while I'm out here. I mean, so y'all just bear with me, you know, and all that good stuff, man. Y also send me some videos if y'all come across some things. All right, I I got some things in my Instagram DMs. So if y'all want, send me some videos to my Instagram DMs. Without further ado, man, I'mma holl at y'all later. It's been your boy Toogie. I'm out of here, man. Peace.
