[00:01:14]I am in a great mood, but I'm still getting over this weekend because what happened on Saturday had us all on edge as a country. We were refreshing our phones and trying to process what happened. And of course, I'm talking about Megan the Stallion's breakup with her boyfriend.

[00:01:34]Megan broke up with NBA star Klay Thompson. And like all young people, she posted about it on Instagram. And according to Megan, Clay cheated on her.

[00:01:47]And Megan says, "Trust, fidelity, and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship." Good for you, girl. Good for you, Megan. I got to tell you, I applaud Megan for standing on business.

[00:02:03]But here's the part that has me and all my girlfriends just shook. Because if a man can cheat on MEGAN THE STALLION, WHAT HOPE DO THE REST OF US HAVE?

[00:02:15]LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING.

[00:02:17]Megan is gorgeous. She's funny. She's successful. She can cook. As And AS THE KIDS SAY, HER BODY is tea.

[00:02:28]>> Yes. And not the regular tea, but the expensive tea. The tea you got to steep for 20 minutes. And Megan is limber. She can drop down into a squat, COME BACK UP, DROP AGAIN. NO WARM UP.

[00:02:44]OH. OH, AND LET'S NOT FORGET and her booty. The that booty, it moves like water.

[00:02:51]If you listen to Megan's booty closely enough, you can hear the ocean.

[00:03:02]All love to Megan. And I'm sad for them because I really like them as a couple.

[00:03:07]She seemed really close with his parents. She even made Thanksgiving dinner for them. And I'm mad at Clay. So you had me carving THE TURKEY, BUT YOU CARVING OUT TIME FOR other women. Uh-uh.

[00:03:18]I'm over here learning YOUR GRANDMOTHER'S RECIPE, BUT YOU OUT HERE SAMPLING other people's dishes. I'M HERE WITH YOUR FAMILY TOSSING A SALAD, BUT YOU Y'ALL GET THE POINT. Y'all get the point.

[00:03:30]And now Megan's got to break up with the whole family. Meanwhile, he's the one that cheated. And now all of us, we are hurting. All right. This felt like it was all of our relationship. We were all invested in this. Now women everywhere are spiraling right now because Clay seemed like he was the one for her. We all side eyeing our men like, "Yeah, so what you got going on?" You thought you were in a happy relationship. Now you're doing retroactive investigations cuz you're thinking to yourself, YOU REMEMBER IN 2016 when he said he WAS WORKING LATE? WORKING LATE WHERE? AND WENT HOME. OR OR OR OH, REMEMBER we went to Sizzler and he laughed just a little too hard at that waitress's joke. I wonder what else she was serving him.

[00:04:17]See, Clay has messed it up for all of our men and they don't even know why they're in trouble. They're just sitting there watching TV, minding their own business, and here we COME IN LIKE, "HEY, WHO'S JASMINE?"

[00:04:29]And your MAN IS LIKE, "JASMINE WHO? I DON'T KNOW WHAT Jasmine exactly." And that's the problem.

[00:04:36]Now your man's got to apologize for something he hasn't even done yet. Even my son Jeffrey, he was just sitting there doing his homework. He not even my man, but he is a man.

[00:04:48]So Jeffreey's in trouble too by association. So right now Clay has all men on punishment right now because I'm saying if it can happen to Megan and her stallion booty, it can happen to any of us. So, Megan, Megan, keep your head up because there are plenty of fish in the sea and there's plenty of balls on the court.

[00:05:35]I'm telling you, I just can't get This was in my feet all weekend. I I can't get over this this Megan the Stallion cheating scandal cuz it's shocking to me. But I guess it shouldn't be because there's so much cheating that goes on in the world of sports. I don't know. I think dating an athlete should come with a disclaimer, like a warning, a high risk of cheating, you know. And I was thinking about it, you know, because so many celebrities go through this. Megan needs to get with a man that's not in the entertainment business. I think somebody outside of the entertainment business. I think she needs somebody who's the master of his domain. You you remember like Eve uh married a race car mogul and Serena married a tech businessman. Issa Ray married a businessman and a banker. Like get somebody who's not in the spotlight. one of those nerdy dudes who makes money and he comes home like literally look at who uh Lauren Sanchez's dude the the the d the Amazon dude who is that the dude Lauren Sanchez married. See y'all don't even know Bezos Jeff Bezos. That's him.

[00:06:41]I know him as Lauren Sanchez's dude. But she doesn't have to worry about throwing women throwing themselves at her man when he's on stage or on the court. The only thing she got to worry about is which private plane to take to the gala tonight. So, I'm I just think Megan, you are the star. You get the top billing. You don't need a man sharing your spotlight and doing your dirty. You go, girl. GET SOMEBODY LIKE JUST one of these hecky people.

[00:07:10]Oh, I'm feeling Sometimes it's such a thing as a man being a little too fine.

[00:07:15]And when I tell you when they too fine, I went out with a man literally he had a six-pack that was so chiseled I got insecure ordering the appetizers. this.

[00:07:24]And Fedra Parks, she says that she does not want a man who is too fine. And she explained on last night's Real Housewives of Atlanta. Take a look.

[00:08:05]When you get somebody that's too fine, it's a lot to deal with because they got something called pretty privilege. Even women who are too beautiful, it's like it's harder for them to develop the other skills because the beauty is the first thing that everybody is seeing. So that's what they rely on their beauty.

[00:08:21]Now with me, I was the funny one. So I had to develop funny. I had to develop a charming personality. I had to develop my smile cuz you're not going it wasn't based on beauty. So, I think that sometimes when the package is so pretty, you can open, you ever been with somebody, they're so good-looking, it's like a pretty package. You open it up and there's nothing inside the package.

[00:08:42]That's what I'm trying to say. Because sometimes a person has been told that they've been pretty all their life.

[00:08:49]They've been fine all their life and then then they don't know how to do anything. And I don't I think that you really see it when you grown. When you need something fixed around your house and you ask a pretty person or a fine person to fix that thing around your house and they don't know what to do, they ain't never they ain't never done nothing. But let me tell you who going to fix it. Fix something around your house. A ugly man.

When somebody's in your house in the middle of the night and you screaming, Pretty Boy going to be screaming right with you.

[00:09:36]I'm telling you, if something is crawling around on THAT FLOOR, WE BOTH GOING, we can't both be on top of a chair screaming, but I'm telling you who going to kill that sucker. Ugly man, or get out there and jump on that damn thing. You want to be pleasure, get you a ugly man. All right.

[00:10:13]Now, apparently, we all still love Michael Jackson. Well, apparently because the movie Michael made over the weekend, $217 million globally.

[00:10:35]Michael is the biggest opening weekend for a biopic ever. Ever. And I and I said this I said this last week. I saw this coming because when I saw the the movie a few weeks ago, I loved it. It was so much fun. And when I tell you Jafar Jackson as Michael was brilliant.

[00:10:55]He looked and he moved just like Michael. I was so convinced that that was Michael himself. I Jafar had it together. Clap if you saw Michael over the weekend.

[00:11:05]>> Okay. And I know a lot of y'all didn't because it was sold out everywhere. So I can't talk about everything cuz y'all going to get mad at me. But you better go see Michael because it it's just everybody wants to talk about it. I will just say this thing. I was convinced Jafar Jackson was Michael until I saw Jafar's booty. All right.

[00:11:28]I'm telling you, Jafar lost himself as Michael to me. I couldn't tell Jafar from Michael, Michael from Then there was he was in HIS STRIP BLACK AND WHITE PANTS and I SAW JAFAR'S BROWN BOOTY. I SAID, "OH, that ain't Michael Jackson right there.

[00:11:46]Now, WE ALL KNOW, COME ON, Y'ALL. WE ALL KNOW MICHAEL'S booty like the back of our hand. And Michael was so skinny cuz he was always dancing. He didn't have no booty. I SAW THAT BOOTY RIGHT THERE. I SAID, "OH YEAH, that ain't that ain't Michael, right, JAFAR?" OH MY GOSH.

[00:11:59]TRUST ME, I'M an expert. I am an expert on some booty. But I got to give a shout out. Nia Long was excellent. as as um Katherine Jackson.

[00:12:11]It's great seeing Nia Long again, but big shout out to Coleman Domingo.

[00:12:16]Coleman Domingo playing Joseph Jackson. Oh, it Coleman was he and Coleman was a little too good playing Joseph cuz he had me scared like I needed to practice with the Jackson 5.

[00:12:31]And as the movies went on, Coleman looked more and more like Joe Jackson.

[00:12:37]And but I gotta say this, apparently some of y'all are having a little too much fun because people have been going up to the front of the screen to dance.

[00:12:45]They are going up showing off their best Michael Jackson moves.

[00:12:49]And I know they're doing this because the energy of seeing this movie with a lot of people, it's so much energy. But let me tell you something. I better not catch y'all in the theater near me. I paid to enjoy the movie, not enjoy Leroy, who had dreams of being Michael Jackson all his life.

[00:13:07]You I can't I love it that you love Michael and you want to show off all your moves, but one eyeball is over here, one eyeball is on you. I can't do TWO THINGS. SO, WAIT TILL THE CREDITS START ROLLING. Y'ALL KNOW THEY going to play his music at the end. Or even better, DO IT IN THE LOBBY IN FRONT OF THE POSTER.

[00:13:25]DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN WAKANDA WAS OUT AND EVERYBODY WAS DOING ALL THEIR DANCES IN THE LOBBY? THE FLOOR IS YOURS.

[00:13:32]But it goes to show you how powerful and relevant Michael Jackson's influence still is.

[00:13:39]And this is why I say when all of these people keep trying to compare modern-day artists to Michael Jackson, you can't do it. Because if you what artist do you know can stand on a stage for two minutes just blinking and people just start passing out?

[00:13:57]>> Michael did that y'all would see it on TV. People in hysteria mass people would pass out because just watch AND HE DIDN'T EVEN START SINGING and I know that his streams went up from this movie because that movie had me down the rabbit hole listening to the Jackson F.

[00:14:12]I listened to Ben all night long.

[00:14:19]So, if you have not seen the movie yet, I it's just it it takes you into a world. You think you know this world, but it takes you into it. And the actors are so incredible. Incredible. Do yourself a favor, go see Michael. It was absolutely Whoa.

[00:14:36]So, Rihanna and ASAP Rocky's daughter Rocky is only seven months old and she's already Rocky, too. She's already following in her mother's footsteps. Now they're both on the cover of the latest issue of W magazine. Okay. Looking wow.

[00:14:53]Now y'all know that Rihanna's hat, it reminds me, if you can remember, of the Flying Nun, the Flying Nun. And there's some folks clap if you remember Sally Field and the Flying Nun.

[00:15:06]So the show, The Flying Nun, it was exactly what it sounds like. It was about a nun who flew. Uh, and I'm not sure if the hat made her fly, but that's what Rihanna's hat reminds me of. And she's not just flying. Rihanna Rihanna's not just flying. She just she's just fly. And she brought she brought the baby to work. And let me tell you, Rocky Rocky work work.

[00:15:30]And baby Rocky's whole outfit is Dior.

[00:15:32]And even her diaper is Dior. But you know what? Her mom and her daddy, they're fashion icons. So, do you really expect anything less? So, I say to the baby, "Good job, Rocky. You did it. You look amazing.

Does that is that kind of a a heavy burden though because you have to really be careful about what you you know recommend or what you tell people? Well, you know, because if you met my mom and my daddy, you know, Lawrence and Lucy, Mary, and Roberts, uh, they taught their children, not the three Rs, and they were all about education. They're both the first in their families to go to college. Went to Howard University.

[00:19:59]>> But it was about the three D's. It was about discipline. Discipline yourself so nobody else has to discipline you.

[00:21:02]>> I guess I got to stick in there with Pilates. ALL THAT.

[00:21:08]>> But it really it it helps your abs like that. Pilates, it also lengthens you out. Will I grow like you? If I do Pilates, >> Absolutely. You'll grow at least another six inches because I've lost I've lost an inch already. Yeah, I'm 5 feet. So, if I do Pilates, does it does it like >> Yeah, it kind of lengthens you a little bit.

[00:21:25]>> It lens me out.

[00:21:26]>> Yeah, because I was 5'4 before I started. Now I'm almost 6 feet.

[00:21:30]>> So, it's really worked very well. Done.

[00:21:31]Six years. Anchy year. You know, >> an inch here. And I love it because you're with Sam Champion, the weatherman. We love Sam Champ. He's your best friend. We do.

[00:21:41]>> But I be asking him weather questions all the time. Do you use him like he's your personal app?

[00:21:47]>> Yeah, he's not Alexa. He's my Alexa.

[00:21:49]Really? Yeah. I I I'm telling you, for um our wedding, we had planned an intimate backyard wedding, just our families. Yes. Um my pastor from height, you know, from childhood was coming in and we had a bigger reception indoors later. Sam is part of the big reception and he calls me that morning at home. He goes, "You need to move up your outdoor ceremony because it's going to rain."

[00:22:11]And I'm like, Sam, because you know I we got >> Let me tell you, we did. It was beautiful. We got inside and the sky opened and just when we were supposed to have it, it rained like the dickens. So, he helped us out a lot.

[00:22:25]>> Telling you to move it.

[00:22:26]>> I know. He was the one who told us to move it up like that. So, that really helped.

[00:22:29]>> So, you called him all the time.

[00:22:30]>> I call him. But if he feels pressure, but you know, but Sam feels pressure, too. You're talking about me feeling pressure. He does because, you know, we're always as family and friends calling him. And if he gets it wrong, >> yeah, you can't let anybody down.

[00:22:42]>> No, you can't. You can't.

[00:22:43]>> Oh my gosh. Well, tell Sam I'mma be calling him. I think I got If I don't have his phone number up, I need to look in your phone cuz I need to got I got a date this weekend and I want to make sure IT'S NOT RAINING.

[00:23:47]>> I am. So, first of all, I love love love. And her residency is unlike any that you've seen before. Of course, it's about the music, but she's also going to have actors and actresses on stage acting out because her life, >> she's such a storyteller. And so, you're going to be able to see some of the lyrics come to life as she's singing with performers that are there on stage.

[00:24:08]>> I'd love to be on stage going 11 years.

I love watching >> the ladies >> and I've always >> I've always felt like they just have not received their due in terms of their male colleagues and I know that they recently signed a a players deal, a new player, a collective bargaining agreement, which is historic to raise, you know, raise everything for them.

[00:24:50]>> You know what they just said? pay us what we're worth. That's all. And you know, that's it. Just pay us what we're worth.

[00:26:35]>> And this woman was the last one that was pulled from the rubble. literally pulled from the rubble and she was why the reason it's called angel >> because she claims there was somebody that helped her. Yeah.

[00:26:48]>> And but there's no proof of that.

[00:26:50]There's no proof that somebody physically was there to help her. So she just really felt that there was an angel of some sort that pulled her from the rubble. So it's just so important to tell people for first of all that we were are reminded of what happened 25 years ago. But also never give up hope.

[00:27:06]>> Whoever you are that you could too literally and figuratively can be pulled from the rubble. So we're going to be pulling you out of that rubble.

[00:27:13]>> I mean buried alive. That's what was just like literally buried alive before.

[00:27:17]>> She wasn't found until the next day.

[00:27:19]>> So 27 hours I believe buried alive. And I know >> how you getting into character for this.

[00:27:24]I >> you know uh I I've been tying my hands and feet together in bed. That's all I can do for right now. But it's it's you know thinking about being on screen for that length of time in the dark and I've talked to Janelle and it's an amazing story she has.

[00:27:38]>> She's a beautiful person.

[00:27:39]>> She's such a beautiful person and that's intense doing you know filming this. I just want to know when they say cut are we having any kind of girls night out?

[00:27:50]>> Pilates.

[00:29:52]Right. He's the head of the Who's going to follow him? HE LOOK LIKE A HALF LIT Marbor light.

[00:29:59]Right. You look like you could SMOKE HIM. I CAN'T FOLLOW HIM. He sound Why does he sound like MY VIBRATOR ON FIVE? I DON'T KNOW WHAT.

[00:30:11]>> SO, I had to do it all on my own. Honey, you did. And you did it so well. I mean, oh my goodness.

[00:30:18]>> All natural everything.

[00:30:20]>> Yeah. Yeah.

[00:30:21]>> And you recently I love this. You recently reconnected with some family members. Yes. So, how's it going now?

[00:30:27]>> Yeah. Well, I have uh half sisters. I I have had three half sisters. Our sister Nishia is in heaven, but my my halfsisters who are living um Nishia is in heaven, but we have Maisha and we have Tayiana. Yes.

[00:30:40]>> And they're really my full sister. We just have a different mom. You know what I'm saying? But it's like now that we're reconnecting in our 40s, I'm an instant aunt.

[00:30:48]>> And you know, I don't have no kids.

[00:30:50]>> Yeah.

[00:30:51]>> And I don't really know how to deal with them.

[00:30:53]>> You know what I'm saying? And I really don't want to deal with them.

[00:30:56]>> Right. But I need them to love me enough to wipe my ass when I'm 98. That's right.

[00:31:01]>> Right. So, I'm involved. I'm there with him. So, my my four-year-old nephew >> over the summer had a birthday party.

[00:31:07]>> Mhm.

[00:31:08]>> Pool party.

[00:31:08]>> Right.

[00:31:09]>> Every time I call him, "Oh, I came having a pool party. I'm having a pool party." I said, "Oh, that's great. Put your mother on the phone."

[00:31:14]>> Uh-huh.

[00:31:15]>> I said, "Y'all ain't got no pool.

[00:31:18]How you having a pool party?" My sister goes, "Oh, well, we went on an app." I said, "App?" She looking at me like I'm crazy.

[00:31:24]>> You went on an app to find somebody that was okay with y'all soaking in their pool?

[00:31:28]>> That sounds weird to me. But my nephew, he doesn't understand that he's running around now with the confidence of a kid with a pool and he didn't have one. You understand?

[00:31:37]>> It's like soon as these candles are out, pool over. Okay. You back to being dry.

[00:31:41]AND DURING OUR GENERATION, CUZ I'M GENERATION X. Generation X, you already know if you didn't have a pool, you didn't swim. Even if the neighbors had a situation, you didn't even look over there. You understand? You stayed dry and thirsty in your house.

[00:31:54]>> In your house. That's how it was when we grew up.

[00:31:57]>> Yeah. And I and I you you you're absolutely right because kids grow up different these days. You remember what it was like growing up for us Jenz the Jin Xers.

[00:32:06]>> Yeah. It was like I have to spell everything around my nieces and nephews.

[00:32:09]They don't trust me. Right. So I have to spell every little thing. They got to protect the little spirits. When we were young, nobody protected our spirits. No.

[00:32:15]We used to play this game called Frogger. Remember Frogger? Yeah.

[00:32:18]>> Right. That cute little toad. Nobody ever explained to us why we had to get him across the 18 lane highway. Like it was immediate that he had to get across there and he kept getting hit. It was trauma every second of the day for us.

[00:32:31]>> Trauma.

[00:32:32]>> I mean it was just so much going on. It was like Smokey the Bandit the B.

[00:32:37]>> You can't even go into school with peace back in the day. You had McGruff the crime dog. He busting in the auditorium, >> RIGHT? KICKING IT. I HEARD Y'ALL ON DRUGS. YOU LIKE WHAT? IS THIS FOR US OR THE TEACHERS? RIGHT. And then he had HIS LITTLE BOYFRIEND SMOKEY TO bear and Smokey had that little poster where he was pointing at everybody.

[00:32:57]>> Yeah. Yeah.

[00:32:58]>> And no matter where you look, HE WAS POINTING AT YOU, RIGHT? Only you can prevent forest fire, >> right? Crazy. Oh, it's me.

[00:33:09]>> It's on me. I'M IN SECOND GRADE AND I DON'T LIVE BY A FOREST. HOW IS THIS HELPING ME?

[00:33:15]>> I love it, too. I love this because you are always you keep the comics together.

[00:33:20]You know you're about the sisterhood and you went you went on a a hike recently with a bunch of fellow >> girls. Now you already know me and you know hype don't even belong in my category. Okay. I don't have the body for it. I don't have the personality for it. It this is the thing when you don't pay attention to the group chat that you in. You wind up going places you don't want to go. Right. So they all agree to a hike. I went on a beautiful hike. It wind up being beautiful. But I went on a beautiful hike with four comedians. It was myself. It was um Ami Armani, Khloe Hillyard, Zanv Johnson. Yes. Black women just trying to go hiking doing a white man's experience. You understand? CUZ AIN'T NOBODY HIKING BUT WHITE MEN. THEY LIKE TO GO OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE where they can be quiet, not have a restraining order filed against them. So we went out hiking. None of us know how to hike. That's number one. Cuz we black when we ain't got time to be hiking and our edges getting all messed up. Okay.

[00:34:11]>> So one of my girlfriends said, "You know what? I talked to Chad GBT." And I asked Chat GBT, "How do you hike?"

[00:34:18]>> I said, "So you ask somebody with no legs how to do some stuff with legs?"

[00:34:24]Then she tells us, Chat GBT told her at 5 in the morning, we supposed to get up and meet the sun.

[00:34:29]>> Yeah.

[00:34:30]>> I said, "No, I came here to meet men, not the sun." You understand? Is the sun going to HAVE SEX WITH ME?

[00:34:36]>> BUT THE WAY I GOT heat stroke, it wound up really, YOU KNOW WHAT? OKAY. CUZ IT was hot out there.

[00:34:42]>> Oh gosh. And I love it because this is what I love about you. You say the sisterhood in comedy is really important. Do you want to speak on the sisterhood in comedy?

[00:34:50]>> Yeah. Because Well, I want to speak on the sisterhood first of all of my sister Sherry. Okay.

[00:34:55]>> And no because and thank you for taking the risk to put me out here cuz you know I'm a wild card and I be saying stuff.
