XRP In US Crypto Reserve

[00:00:00]In March of 2025, President Trump said that XRP would be included in the US strategic crypto reserve. And the first crypto that he listed was XRP with a few other digital assets. Bitcoin is going to be there as well too. And this was an announcement that was great for the XRP community and the broader cryptocurrency space as a whole. And as we continue to say with announcements like the DTCC going to tokenize on Stellar, right? We cheer on all of this news, right? We want to see our industry accepted and this is the legitimate adoption and partnerships that we've been waiting for. We should all be cheering this on together. But I was reminded this morning of just how silly some of the Bitcoin maxis can be. And so I was inspired to make a video reminding everybody that yes, XRP is going to be in that strategic reserve. And then we've now seen how this is all coming together with ROUSD expanding US dollar dominance right alongside XRP being treated as a world reserve currency being held on balance sheets of Joe Blows all the way up to governments and central banks. But if I was like the Bitcoin maxis or some others, you know, in the crypto space that have been wanting to do this infighting, I saw some people saying that the DTCC stellar announcement was a nothing burger. It's like, bro, just tell me that you don't have a bag of XLM and your butt hurt about that. your butt hurt that whatever coin you got's down, right? And and so just because I don't have a bag of Paxos, you know, it doesn't mean that I'm not going to celebrate this moment. This is the SEC giving the, you know, first approval to a crypto platform here, uh, blockchain native company to clear and settle securities transactions. Let's celebrate these moments. Let's not be upset because my team didn't win, right? It's a it's a rising tide lifts all boats type of scenario.

[00:03:01]And this brings me to the title and topic of today's video. So in 2025, this is in January. This is when there was a lot of conversations about the Bitcoin Strategic Reserve. And I don't know if you guys remember, but at this time we just had a lot of Bitcoin maxis that were coming out and saying, and they're still kind of doing this today. Uh we're going to show you that here in the comments. They're still fighting for a Bitcoin only strategic reserve like Ethereum, XRP, Link, Cardano. They're not worthy of being in the US crypto strategic reserve. And you know, we've been pushing back on this for quite some time. It's kind of died down, but it was revived this morning when this guy came back into this thread that was from January of 2025. Now, it starts with this false claim. And this is the type of crap that these Bitcoin bros have been putting out update from a single source, but a uniquely connected one, which by the way, that's the red flag.

[00:04:01]When any of these Bitcoin bros say that they have a single anonymous source, highly connected, blah blah blah. BS.

[00:04:10]It's all BS. There's a few accounts like this in the Bitcoin Maxi crowd, and they put this crap out non-stop. I don't know why people even listen to them anymore.

[00:04:19]But here's the quote that he shares. No matter their efforts, zero chance that Ripple and XRP ends up as part of any sort of US strategic reserve. None. We aren't fooled by snake oil salesmen. The focus remains on Bitcoin. Now, I called him out January 28th, the same day. I retweet completely fabricated and false.

[00:04:44]One, you made up that story. It's not a real story. And two, even if it is, it's false.

[00:04:51]Now, I checked my notifications this morning, and this guy Andrew on X, Big Bitcoin Maxi, he's the founder of uh something, a founder X3, I don't I don't know what that is. Uh, finance and Bitcoin in his bio. Okay. And he comes into the comments this morning. He responds and he says, "Yeah, question mark." And so I respond and I say, "Yes, let me remind you." This post was put out by President Trump in March of 2025.

[00:05:29]Which is why my executive order on digital assets directed the presidential working group to move forward on a crypto strategic reserve that includes, drum roll please, XRP, Salana, and Cardono. I will make sure the US is the crypto capital of the world. We are making America great again. Now he responds back this morning. We got a little back and forth.

[00:05:54]It seems you didn't include the date on that post. Of course you didn't.

[00:05:59]I respond, March 2025, 2 months after your false claim.

[00:06:06]And oh, I guess he just responded. I'm recording this uh fresh this morning.

[00:06:10]So, how is that XRP strategic reserve coming along? I was clearly right, Zack Recctor 7.

[00:06:18]Just like the Clarity Act being delayed, just like the Bitcoin strategic reserve not being much more than them using the confiscated Bitcoin to create a strategic reserve, we're early. We're early, right? And and so today, as we sit in May 2026, do we have a full-blown XRP strategic reserve or a big bag of XRP? Not really. Criminals seem to like using Bitcoin and Tether more than XRP.

[00:06:43]So, that's the interesting part about the strategic reserve right now, right?

[00:06:46]Right. The Bitcoin maxis are celebrating because we have the most amount of Bitcoin. Why? It's the preferred currency by criminals.

[00:06:54]So, just a data point. But we remind everybody today that and and by the way, I called him out two months before Trump made that post. I said that's false.

[00:07:06]It's fabricated. It's made up. And the Bitcoin maxis, they should have stopped this a long time ago. It is not helping anybody. They have been so self-serving.

[00:07:16]It's It's just disgusting really. And we we call them out on their BS even though I'm rooting for Bitcoin. No bags of Bitcoin. Don't really care about it.

[00:07:26]Rooting for it. Send it.

[00:07:29]And we got these guys that want to keep on attacking XRP. Keep on wanting to attack other cryptos. And it's the same thing. You know, DTCC says they're working with Stellar. Some people don't want to celebrate that. Paxos can start settling securities. Some people won't want to celebrate that. I want to celebrate all of this. Real utility, real infrastructure, moving the old system to blockchain, DT Rails, whether it's XRP, XLM, Bitcoin plays a role. God bless it. That's fantastic. Bitcoin, can it help our government? I believe it can, right? And I've even advocated I don't believe that the government should necessarily dump our bags of Bitcoin. I don't know what we should do with them.

[00:08:10]not there's probably people more uh well equipped to make those decisions but what we're pushing back is against this tribalism that's what we're pushing back against and to bring this all together we can really see the full picture right XRP in the strategic reserve remember Ripple has never gone back on their statements from 2017 that they have the simple goal simple goal of making XRP a world reserve currency simple goal they've never taken back that statement. Brad, David, anybody from Ripple has never come back out and said, "Oh, by the way, guys, we changed our goal. We we we failed at it. We've given up on it." They've never said that. In the same way that President Trump has never taken back his statements in this post, saying that XRP was going to be in the US crypto reserve. Trump has never taken that statement back. Now, are we as far along as we would like to see with the strategic reserve, with digital assets, and having a regulatory framework? No, we're still battling the same group of um politicians through doing the bidding of the banksters and the incumbents, you know, and that's something that we're all up against and we all should be fighting for, right, as a digital asset sector as a whole, right? We should all be together in this fight.

[00:09:29]But XRP is the world reserve currency and we'll keep that in the strategic reserve. But then as President Trump said, and the funny part is President Trump made this statement at the 2024 Bitcoin conference in Nashville when he was running for president, he didn't say that Bitcoin was going to be key to expanding US dollar dominance. He said stable coins were going to be key to expanding US dollar dominance.

[00:09:51]The Bitcoiners probably didn't like hearing that, but for those the adults in the room, we understand that this is absolutely a matter of national security and necessary and that, you know, it's not a Bitcoin only world. It's not an XRP only world. It's about tokenizing real world assets and bringing them onchain in in a matter that brings accessibility, brings efficiency, lowers cost, lower uh makes things faster. And that's what we're doing. ROUSD to expand US dollar dominance. So it's the one-two combo. You got XRP as the base layer, the rails of the system, XRP being the neutral bridge asset and basically the gas token of that network and then ROUSD to expand US dollar dominance. It's all coming together. And it's crazy to me that we still have the tribalism persisting and you see this during the bottom of the bare market which is exactly where we're at, right? It's it's really not much of a surprise to see some of the infighting. It's surprise and and shocking to me that we still have the Bitcoin maxis pushing the way that they are though, right? You would think at this point they would have given up on that. But either either way, uh they're not going to be able to stop the progress of XRP, the fact that XRP outperformed Bitcoin tremendously. So, if we're just here to make money, XRP wins. If we're here to move the the old system onto new rails, XRP wins. In every regard, XRP wins. Other than Bitcoin's a bigger market cap, you know, right? And if you made a big bag of money on Bitcoin, God bless you.

[00:11:27]Love it. Right? But what we have been fighting for here in the XRP community is a level playing field. And we want to win on the merits. We want to deserve to be the best digital asset. We want to we want to get the most liquidity because people see the XRP ledger as that hub of liquidity, the place where you want to have your assets tokenized on. You want to have exposure on the XRP ledger. We don't want to be the chosen one by the government and then everybody else is shut out. Level playing field is all we've been fighting for. And it's crazy.

[00:12:01]Some people wanted to see us even lose against the SEC. They were cheering on.

[00:12:04]Remember, these guys were saying that Brad was committing fraud. We talked about how Brad had everything that he needed to go decimate these guys. Uh if Brad really wanted to. Brad's the adult in the room, so he just lets them do their the Twitter talking heads. He lets them be little bots running around chatting. We respect that. And the adults in the room continue to drive this industry forward, continue to bring real adoption. You're seeing institutions like the DTCC arriving and they're saying the same thing. It's a multi-chain approach. The adults in the room are talking about the multi-chain approach. It's not all XRP. It's not all Bitcoin. Let's move this industry forward together.
