James delivers a clinical autopsy of Chain Opera’s collapse, exposing how "decentralization" often serves as a mere facade for extreme wealth concentration. It’s a blunt reminder that without transparent governance, many crypto projects are just sophisticated exit strategies for the few.

Chain Opera Crypto review - could lose your moneyAdded:
Chain Opera. So, obviously, Chain Opera had a massive, massive crash. Uh, we're going to talk about what happened with that crash, you know, from last year, uh, or probably, well, probably this year. Um, and we're really going to talk about, you know, what we can expect for them and other coins similar. Now, before I get into it, if you're new here, uh, the spreadsheet shows the first 26 coins that videos about on the channel. In the videos, I show myself buying up all of these cryptos. These were coins that I thought could do very, very well, can make a lot of cash, which is why I show myself buying them up. These were their prices when I release my videos. The highs that these coins hit in the last bull cycle. And the profits you'd have made from a h 100red bucks into each. If you'd have done it for every single coin, it would have been a $2,600 investment. And in the last bull cycle would have made you over 123 grand around about 16 months.
Now, the thing is is you don't have 16 months to get things sorted. We're in a bull cycle right now. If you have coins you are not happy with, if there are cryptos simply not performing for you, you've got to get it sorted. If you don't know where to begin, have a look at copy mycrypto.com. This is the website that I run where I share all the coins that I own with my members.
Whenever I find any crypto that I think can do very, very well, like a lot of these did, I get onto my site. I tell my members about the crypto, the reasons I think it can do very, very well, and the price I'm going to buy at. I do the exact same when I sell a coin. I tell my members the coin I'm selling and the price I'm selling at. So there is no work for my members. They can literally copy along and make the same profits I do. And if you go on to my site, you can see some of the profits that the members have made. You can see some of the successes that led to those profits.
Whether it was a meme coin the members held for a couple of weeks that did over 300x or whether it was Phantom, which in the last bull cycle was one of the best performers. Myself and my members got in on Phantom at half a cent. it ended up going up uh to $346. That's just shy of 700 times our investment. A bunch of my members became millionaires from that one alone. And this is all public record. You can go to the old videos on this channel and verify everything that I just said. And if you want to find out the coins that will be the winners in this bull cycle uh and the ones that can do the big profits, all you've got to do to find out about the coins is join up on the site.
Now, Chain Opera.
So, uh, Chain Opera launched in October and had this huge run up going up to over 20 bucks. In fact, an all-time high of, uh, $44.90 before this enormous crash which happened over the course of few days really. Uh, now at 36.
Um, yeah. Yeah. I mean, absolutely staggering. Uh, huge huge huge change.
Um and really you know it was a 96% drop which sent ripples through the DeFi industry. The incident highlighted the significant dangers present in blockchain platforms. Uh they had governance failures, centralization and incentive misalignment as well. Mid 10 wallets held 88% of all tokens with one party allegedly controlling half of the top earning wallets. Such a concentration of ownership left the project vulnerable to p panicd driven sell-offs and poor choices during turbulent times. Um governance approach also failed to effectively prevent conflicts of interest. For example, while staking tokens was meant to democratize voting, the reality was that handful of wallets could still dictate outcomes. This misalignment of incentives became even more problematic when algorithmic stable coins like XUSD and DUSD collapsed leading to a severe liquidity shortage that um chain opera's governance wasn't able to address. There are technical vulnerabilities as well within the AI models um and the smart contract risks that were there. I mean the reality is is look [snorts] um there are certainly some takeaways.
Insist on on decentralized governance.
Examine technical audits closely. Both AI models and smart contracts require thorough independent security reviews uh and chain opera's um lack of such protections left it open to systemic breakdowns and evaluate regulatory preparedness. Regulatory changes can quickly destabilize projects. investors should assess how well a project adapts to shifting compliance. But the downfall of them was nothing we couldn't have expected. The reality is is that this is no different from some of the other coins that we've seen. We still raved out doing something uh almost exactly the same. It was something I predicted a couple of days before it happened. Like the price had risen way the hell too high. It was obvious we were going to see some major problem. And that's exactly what happened. That's exactly what happened.
Um, and unfortunately, look, we're not at like in terms of uh where things are at right now. We're certainly not out of the woods yet. You know, there are major uh there there are projects out there with enormous market caps like memecore that the numbers don't make sense. The market cap, you cannot justify that market cap to me at all. You simply can't. They're not doing enough. There is no way this is worth $4 billion. Uh you look at the last month, you know, this went to a new all-time high and has pulled back quite a bit. I would expect this goes to zero, similarly to how Chain Opera will, by the way, go to zero. And we've got plenty of these still around. There are tons of cryptos out there that are simply not able to justify the current market cap that they've got. And it's got to be down to insider trading. It's got to be.
There can't be anything else that that's rallying prices and then causing prices to crash so dramatically. Don't forget Chain Opera went from 16 cents when it launched to 44 bucks back down to under a dollar all in the space of about a month.
That's inside trading that I don't I don't I get bit's analysis here, but this isn't like a sell-off that was um the like this isn't all the retail investors that sold off. No, no, no.
This is still levels of insider trading whether it's the VCs behind it or whatever. And we are seeing it time and time and time again. A lot of the newer projects that are coming out in crypto right now keep doing this. This has happened. I think it happened with Power Protocol. I think it happened with um Oh, it happened with NYX Finance.
Like there's honestly, it's probably like looking, you could use chat GPT to probably pull up a list of coins in the last year that did over 100x rise and then and then fell 99%. Like it is staggering how many new projects that are landing on major exchanges. And the question then has to become, well, how are the exchanges protecting investors?
They've got to have some responsibility there. Their role has to be that this project is okay to list. They've got to review a project before they list it.
Airgo, they have to be spotting the issues to protect investors as well. Um, I just don't see that happening though.
I don't there's not just not enough uh there there is so few rules in the crypto space right now. And don't get me wrong, look, Chain Opera will oscillate up and down for a while. It may well go to 50 cents or even 60 cents. It may well drop to 10 cents, but sooner or later, this project is going to die and it's going to go to zero. And it's inevitable because we're going to see the same with uh NYX Finance. We're going to see the We're going to see the same with a lot of these major cryptos that came out, did a huge pump, then dumped. They're all going to die sooner or later. It's just how long does it take? This is no different. chain oper will go to zero if you've got thousands in it. Honestly, my if I had thousands in it, I'd be pulling that out right now because this hasn't got longevity. You can't trust it when you can't trust the team behind it because it's someone is someone within the team, whether it's insiders in terms of VCs that got in early, but someone attached to the project caused it and it's going to happen again. you know, maybe they'll get it up to $2 and then they'll do it again. You can't trust it. I don't, but that's obviously my opinion. Not financial advice, but look, there's a ton of you holding chain opera. What are you hoping to see? Do you think this can recover in any way? Do you think this will be back to a couple of dollars?
What do you think? Or is it just dead?
Let me know in the comments. [snorts] Excuse me. And look, if you're sitting on cryptos that not performing for you, like Grin, by the way, didn't perform for me. You got to get it sorted. If you're not sure where to begin, get on to copyc.com and have a read through the site. This [snorts] is the site I run where I share all the coins that I own with my members. Whenever I find any crypto that I think can do very, very well, like a lot of these did, I get onto my site. I tell my members about crypto, the reasons I think it can do well, and the price I will buy at.
When I sell a coin, I tell my members the coin I'm selling and the price I'm selling at. So, there is no work for my members. They are in and out of cryptos, same price as me. So, they make the same profit. And if you go on to my site, you can see some of the profits the members made. You can see some of the successes that led to those profits. Whether it was a memecoin the members held for a couple of weeks, they did over 300x or whether it was Phantom, which did nearly a 700x in the last bull cycle and made some my members millionaires. It's all public record. Verify it all on the history of this channel. And if you want to find out the cryptos that can be the big winners, all you got to do to find out is join up on the site. And if you do, I'll see you there. Otherwise, guys, I'll see you in the next video. Take it easy. Bye-bye.
