Flare Network - High Integrity Data as a Foundation!

And in today's video, we're going to be talking about what makes Flare's native data protocols so robust. [music] So, we're jumping in straight here to this post that I wrote from the Digital Dynamics account, [music] and we're just going to read it verbatim.

[00:00:49]One thing that many overlook is the strong foundation that Flare is built upon. That being the infrastructure providers that go beyond simply minting blocks.

[00:01:01]The role [music] of an infrastructure provider allows Flare network's novel data protocols to exist by collectively bringing both on-chain and off-chain data onto the network in a decentralized manner.

[00:01:16]This foundation cannot be implemented instantly, [music] which is why any blockchains looking to imitate Flare's unique value proposition are already years behind. It is a beautiful thing.

[00:01:30]So, traditionally, when you see bridges, it relies on data, and there are some bridges that rely on very few validators to confirm these transactions happening on external chains.

[00:01:43]With the Flare network with 100 validators attesting these transactions on other chains, it's one of the most decentralized solutions out there.

[00:01:53]Yes, you have many different networks in the crypto space, many different nodes, but on these other networks, all of the validators and operators are simply responsible for producing blocks, i.e., validating transactions.

[00:02:10]On Flare, the validator's role encompasses much more than that, >> [music] >> and at Digital Dynamics, we're helping support the infrastructure for the Flare network. So, if you do want to delegate or stake, please feel free to do so. And what we're going to be doing now is listening into an interview from Crypto Sensei with Hugo talking about [music] just this. Flare's very powerful decentralized protocols and how the infrastructure providers are leveraged to make it a world-class solution.

[00:02:43]So, it starts with the data. Some any type of bridge requires data to cross a chain to be effectively transferred by one from one chain to another. Flare uses all of its validators to go and get data, both data from other chains, data from Web 2, and price data.

[00:03:04]So, we're different data protocols, but the thing someone needs to understand is that all of our validators are validators aren't just validating the blocks. They're contributing to the data protocols, and that that makes those data protocols very robust because that is effectively the the the pretty much the most contributed data protocol in the entire space.

[00:03:28]As it has the the the widest set of parties that are contributing to it.
