We're going to talk about three secret auctions to buy cheap dump trailers so that you can start a junk removal business. Without further ado, let's get it started. So, I already know what you're thinking. K, how does this have anything to do with real estate?

[00:00:15]So, I'll tell you. So, folks who need uh evictions, uh property turnover. If you're a landlord, you know you've used junk removal businesses before to turn over a property. Code violations. So, you can actually work with the city, get a city contract, and I talked about code violations on my channel in the past, but you can be that person that the city calls to say, "Hey, we need some junk removed from this particular property."

[00:00:41]So, the list goes on as to how junk removal and dump trailers have anything to do with real estate. But for today, we're going to go over three websites, auction websites that you can find these dump trailers to start your business.

[00:00:53]The first website I wanted to discuss is HiBid, okay? So, hibid.com. So, HiBid also actually sells real estate as well.

[00:01:02]I've done a prior video. I'll try to link that below where I kind of run down and discuss how in the world you find real estate on this particular website as well. So, HiBid. Now, what I also want to say, because I'm actually interested in uh purchasing a dump trailer as well, because you can really use utilize this Excuse me, you can utilize this as well to rent it out, right? So, the dump trailer can be rented out as well. You can rent that on a daily basis, right?

[00:01:28]>> [snorts] >> You could also haul heavier items from places such as Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. Um I think I've gotten rocks hauled instead of getting it, you know, a uh price or quote. I had uh some folks with a dump trailer haul some rocks to my one of my rental properties, okay?

[00:01:46]So, keep in mind, you can utilize the dump trailer for multiple things, but the most important thing you can utilize it for is to make extra money. Yes, junk removal is a highly lucrative business in which folks are raking in pretty good money to haul away junk, especially in the springtime. We are currently, at the time of this recording, in the spring, so a lot of folks are doing their spring cleaning, and they need this stuff gone, okay? So, this is HiBid. On all of these websites that I will mention to you, we all know that there are auction websites, right? So, that means that the price that you may see is not the final price. So, keep that in mind.

[00:02:21]Um a lot of times on this website as well, they have homemade dump trailers, and I'm not opposed to that, either.

[00:02:28]This is a more commercial Well, I won't say commercial, but it's a like a steel dump trailer, right? It's the one we're accustomed to seeing, looks a little bit more professional, but those homemade dump trailers work as well. The ones with the wood on the side and kind of do its job, especially if you're just beginning, you need something reliable, but just to start, and you'll upgrade later. That's just a suggestion so you don't waste too much money up front, especially when you don't have, you know, have any customers yet, okay?

[00:02:56]That's another sector of this business is how to get the customers. That may be down the road, depending on your interest. If you're not interested, I won't make that video, all right? So, keep in mind, on this website, there's a 12% buyer's premium, okay? It also describes all of the information you need to check out the VIN number, you need to check out a lot of different things. Make sure you stick around to the very end of the video. I will go over all the things or the main things that you need to look out for when you're searching to find a good dump trailer, okay? So, there's, you know, indicators whether it's good or bad. One of them being rust, right? So, and the tire condition, all that. So, stick around to the very end of the video. That's site number one, it's hibid.com. We're going to go on to the second website. The second website is PurpleWave, okay? So, what you're going to do when you get to purplewave.com, they also have trucks on here, too. So, you're going to need a truck, so keep that in mind. All of these websites also have trucks for auction, okay? Or at auction.

[00:03:57]So, in the search engine, put dump trailer, and it pulls up a lot of dump trailers, okay? So, this is kind of what I was talking about, the wood on the side. This is really nice. Uh this is in Missouri. It's 1 day left, and at the moment, the current bid is $4,200.

[00:04:12]If you think about you're saving, even if the bid, as an example, were to end at $4,200, that's still a pretty good deal in comparison to a brand new dump trailer, you know, you're still coming out ahead with getting this deal, okay?

[00:04:42]Expand all images, okay. So, you just have to kind of scroll down with these, which is fine. We'll scroll down.

[00:04:48]This is just an example, right? This may not be in your price range. I've seen, and I'll scroll down in just a second, I've seen these dump trailers on these websites with, you know, a day or so left at $300. We know that that's not the final uh uh ending bid, but I also look at past bids as well to see what dump trailers or what the item that I'm looking for has sold for in the past. It kind of gives me hope like, "Okay, this might be a good website for me to find something that is of worth and will be a good fit for uh my business, right? So, keep that in mind. So, they have a ton of pictures.

[00:06:10]I think it has a cover, if I'm not mistaken. And this is in Texas. You want to look at the premium, so there's a 10% buyer's premium, so keep that in mind. Read all of the directions. Look at what Not the directions, but the um description.

[00:06:25]Also, make sure you look at methods of payment, you know.

[00:06:30]Okay, what the current bid is. Okay. So, that's PurpleWave. We're going to go on to uh site number three, which is Munici MuniciBid.

[00:07:05]That's another business, but that's not what I'm looking for, so let me go back to what I was looking for, which is the uh dump trailer.

[00:07:21]So, like I said earlier, if you see any homemade uh dump trailers on these websites, give it a shot. Don't don't discredit it just because, you know, it might not look the way you're accustomed to seeing something look, right? So, this is a dump Okay, this is a dump plow truck.

[00:07:38]Let's check this one out. This is $2,600 at the time of this particular day.

[00:08:09]Let's check out the ones that have have completed to see what has sold. This one, dump trailer, it sold for $3,700.

[00:08:24]And it may be worth it for you to actually go to these areas. Let's say this is in Pennsylvania, but you're nowhere near Pennsylvania. If you find a really good deal, that would, you know, to me would be worth it, especially if you're starting a brand new business.

[00:08:36]And don't discredit places like Facebook Marketplace, of course, of course, of course. They always have these uh you know, deals somewhat. Just depends on where you're located. This is a small one, but it's something. How much did this sell for?

[00:08:51]61 bucks.

[00:08:52]>> [laughter] >> Okay. I mean, it's something. This definitely looks homemade to me. I don't know. But uh this is what I meant to mention earlier. A lot of folks flip these uh uh dump trailers, right? So, they purchase it, fix it up, and then resell it again, right? So, the the possibilities are endless as to how you can utilize this. This is an aluminum dump trailer. Let's check it out real quick.

[00:09:25]Guys, this is an opportunity for you to generate income, right?

[00:09:33]And in a very lucrative business, as I said earlier.

[00:09:38]There are folks who are really utilizing their time with their dump trailers, okay? So, that's the third website. Make sure you check it out.

[00:09:46]Now, what I wanted to do is go on to show you what you should be looking for when you're checking out these dump trailers, okay? So, this is a buyer's list or buying list. So, you want to look at the hydraulic system.

[00:09:58]Um Now, you can buy a dump trailer that doesn't have the hydraulic system, but I would suggest, just based off of my research, because again, I think I said this in the beginning of the video, I've been doing a lot of research on dump trailers because I may purchase one myself and just rent it out. I mean, I may not utilize it, but I just may have it to rent it, right? And make passive income that way, which we all know passive is not passive, but yeah.

[00:10:20]Anyway, so the hydraulic system is very important that it it lifts smoothly.

[00:10:26]Um and you want this because when you go to the dump, you'd want to not have to unload everything by yourself, right?

[00:10:32]So, you just lift this up and it um it leaves the trailer. Battery is working, want to ensure that that is the case. Look at the tires and axles.

[00:10:42]Cracked or bald tires, um even wear, axles look straight.

[00:10:48]Um and this it says uh tires alone can cost $400 to $1,000. So, you really want to make sure those tires are in are intact. Number three, frame and rust.

[00:10:57]Surface rust is okay, deep rust and holes you try to avoid. Check welds for cracks, okay?

[00:11:05]Um make sure the framing is pretty good.

[00:11:07]Electrical and lights, do brake lights work? Wiring intact? Plug connection good? Easy fix, but use it to negotiate price if you can. This is This would be more so if you were like on Facebook Marketplace or anything like that. With the auction, it kind of is what it is.

[00:11:22]You do your due diligence, purchase it.

[00:11:25]Uh you know, take it or leave it type type thing.

[00:11:28]Title and paperwork.

[00:11:29]Um weight rating, can it handle heavy debris?

[00:11:33]And make sure your VIN number I believe that was at the very bottom.
