The looks of that car were such that it seemed as if a European car had come to Pakistan from abroad.

[00:00:56]MG is launching the MG4 EV Urban in 2026. The price of that car has been revealed even before its launch.

[00:01:03]After hearing the price, I was not expecting that this car would be launched at this price. A very amazing number has come to our notice which is worth ₹70 lakh. This means that for ₹70 lakh, you can now start getting crossover SUVs in the form of EVs.

It is quite expensive, although the regular MG4, I think, was also priced a little above Rs 1 crore when it was launched, but eventually its prices have come down now. There is a depreciating asset, it was a bit different in Pakistan but now Pakistan is also moving in step with the whole world in almost all areas of automotive industry and this is a very good thing because new opportunities come, new things get to be experimented with and the market is getting more tilted towards the consumer. And its main infotainment system will be of 12.8 inches which will use i Smart software. [00:10:54]Now the usable amount of this battery size varies. So if we talk about usable amount of battery, then out of the 42.8 mAh battery, approximately 41.9 mAh is usable. The other two trims are the long range one with a usable battery of around 53.9W and the 52.8W one.

[00:11:13]If we talk about power, its standard range produces power of 150 kw and if we talk about torque, you will see 250 Newton meters of torque within the standard range.

[00:11:28]Apart from this, its long range variants produce 158 kW power and its torque range is also around 250. If we talk about 0 to 100 time, then its time is 0 to 100. The standard variant has a 9.6 and the long range variant has a 9.5.

[00:11:48]Obviously because his power numbers are a little higher. What is meant by power numbers is that there is a slight difference in the voltage structure of the overall vehicle. So because of this you may get to see a little bit of that fast.

But how much time the vehicle actually takes to store its energy back is very important in electric cars. So if you charge it on a 2.2 KV charger which is a three pin domestic charger, then in this case you charge it from 10 to 100%. Although it is recommended that you charge the vehicle from 10 to 80%.

[00:12:50]But even if you charge it to 100% with the latest version, it will take 22.5 hours on a 2.2 KB charger.

[00:12:58]And the second variant with longer range will take 28 hours on a 2.2 KV domestic charger. Now we come to the 7 KV fast charger that you will get with it. Now it will be known after the launch of the car whether that charger is available or not. But let's assume that if that charger is provided to you, the car will take 7 1/2 hours to charge from 10 to 100% with that charger.

[00:13:23]Which I think is a very decent time because you can easily charge the car over the night. The one with extended range will charge in about 9 hours with a 7 KB charger.

[00:13:34]Now we come to the commercial chargers which are DC fast chargers.

[00:13:39]Now if you charge this car on a 50 KB charger, then it will be charged from 0 to 100% within 40 minutes. Now let us talk about the fast charging system. If you charge it on DC charger then remember one thing that when you charge it on slow charging at home then of course you should also charge the EV to 100% for emergency. This is not a big issue but in fast charging because batteries generate a lot of heat. So it is recommended that you always charge your vehicle up to 80% on the fast charger. So if I tell you the charging time from 10% to 80%, then this car will be charged in 40 minutes on a 50 kW DC charger.

[00:14:18]Standard range, long range will charge in 50 minutes.

[00:14:21]If you connect a 150 kW DC charger, then the car will take 28 minutes to charge from 10 to 80%. The long range one will charge from 10% to 80% within 30 minutes.

[00:14:36]Well, if we talk about efficiency, this car covers 100 km. Combine Range: If we talk about combine driving, if you use this vehicle then it can run up to 100 km. But it uses 15.5 kilowatts of energy.

[00:14:47]Similarly, if you drive it within the city, remember that these vehicles consume more energy on long drives.

[00:14:53]It becomes very efficient inside the city.

[00:14:55]And within the city, these vehicles literally consume less than motorcycles.
