[00:00:03]So, all you people out there that are going to give their maths exam on May 15th, if you are just wishing for 100 out of 100 marks, then then guys, you need to wake up. Because if you don't have a plan for these last days, then guys, you are doomed. Because 17th of February showed you that CBSE is not playing around anymore. You are going to get competency based questions. You're going to get questions where you have to understand how to even apply the concepts, how to even apply the formula that you have mugged up. Right? So, let's discuss the plan that you should be following right now. Let's start, guys. I'll not waste a lot of time, okay? So, first of all, guys, phase one is over. This is the final round, okay?

[00:00:54]So, first of all, the very first thing you should do is you should sit down, you know, preferably somewhere where there is no noise, and think why did you lose marks in the first phase? Where were you wrong? Where were you lacking?

[00:01:10]So, understand that, and this will be different for every one of you people.

[00:01:14]Right? So, understand your weak concepts, understand your pain points.

[00:01:19]So, that's the first thing and you'll have to do it on your own. Okay? Now, after that, guys, let's quickly revise the weightage of all the topics, and then revise in that order, okay? For example, algebra's weightage is the highest, 20 marks, guys. So, this is very critical. You should start revising it, and if this is your pain point, then you should pay special focus on this.

[00:01:43]Next, we have geometry, 15 marks, guys.

[00:01:46]Okay, again, priority level very, very high. Then, we have trigonometry, guys, 12 marks, okay? Then, we have statistics and probability, very easy chapters with high weightage of 11 marks. Okay, so you should do this. And then lastly we have mensuration 10 marks guys again medium level priority. Okay, so go for the topics go for the chapters which have high weightage first and then move to the topics that have less weightage.

[00:02:19]Okay, but if your agenda is to score 100 out of 100 then you do not have to miss any topic whatsoever. Got it? Now guys next thing Dekho algebra as I told you is very dominant. Okay, 20 marks guys so you have to focus on quadratic equations specifically the word problems because that is where a lot of students lose marks. The guy and arithmetic progression guys there is a very high chance that you might get a five marker question from here. Okay, so again go for those tricky problems of arithmetic progressions. Okay, where you have to form different you know different linear equations and then solve. Right? Then you have to also you know just revise all the formulas for discriminant and what is the nth term sum of nth term. So these all things to you should know right? That should be in your mind.

[00:03:14]Okay, next guys trigonometry. Now in trigonometry you basically have three things. You have basic very simple trigonometric formulas for sine cos and tan and all of those. Then you have specific angle formulas that so you should mug up that table and finally you have trigonometric identities. Now guys trigonometric identity wala part is the part that is tough where a lot of students lose marks. So make sure that you do every question of the last exercise of NCERT of trigonometric chapter. Right, but that is not enough.

[00:03:49]You also have to go through all the PYQs not just 5 years, guys. Go for, you know, older than that, 8 years. If you're getting, you know, trigonometric uh identity questions back 8 years back, then solve them, okay? Because it is a tendency of CBSE nowadays, in 2025 also and in 2026 also, it's actually going back to, you know, 10 It's going 10 years back and giving that question now, okay? So, you have to go further back than 5 years. Okay? Okay.

[00:04:22]Now, guys, next, geometry, everyone. So, in geometry, basically, first of all, you should focus on tangent problems of circles, guys, okay? They are very easy.

[00:04:33]You just have two theorems that you have to mug up. Rest, you have to do all the different varieties of problems. And, guys, there are not a lot of varieties of circle problems that are asked in your examinations. They are limited. So, make sure you solve each and every one of those. Okay. And if you're like, "Ma'am, where will I find all the different varieties?" Guys, there are so many one shots available on YouTube itself. You can go to our own, you know, channel, and you'll find one shot of circles, and I have covered all the different varieties of circle problems that are asked in your board exams.

[00:05:05]Okay. So, these are finite. You can cover them all. Next, we have similar similarity and basic proportionality theorem. So, guys, make sure that you mug up each and every step of BPT theorem proof and the converse proof, okay? Super important, guys. Also, for similarity, guys, again, make sure you practice different varieties of problems. Don't just practice one type of problem five times and say that you are good to go. No, because in geometry, the more different types of problems you, you know, do, the more better you get. Okay. Next, guys, remember to write your proofs, you know, in a manner that is very appealing to the eyes, right? So, again guys, remember presentation matters. If you're not writing what is given to you, if you're not writing what is to prove, if you're not writing what you are constructing, then you can lose marks, right? And at the same time, if you do not know know the entire proof and still you're writing these things given is this, you have constructed this and you have to prove this, then you'll get marks for these. Okay, so make sure you write all these steps in geometrical problems. Next guys, avoid silent or silly mistakes, right? First of all guys, when you're solving you know, any kind of equations, make sure that you are taking special notes of addition, multiplication, division and all these signs, okay? Next guys, unit mistakes in mensuration, right?

[00:06:37]A lot of people do what? They do not write the correct units. So, make sure you do that, okay? Always dot your eyes and cross your tees. Next guys, calculation rush. So, make sure whenever you are calculating, you are double checking that calculation, okay? So, have that time with you in your exam where you recheck your calculation. And finally guys, do not write incomplete answers, okay? If you're not writing the unit of anything, for example, you have to find the area, you have forgotten the square unit, right? So, then you will for sure lose marks. So, no incomplete questions, no solving problems in a rush. Next guys, the step marking hack.

[00:07:21]This is something that all of you people have to follow. Even if you do not know the final answer guys, you will be rewarded for each step that you're writing down. So, just write all the steps, everything that you know, just write it down, okay? And step by step.

[00:07:41]Give a reasoning specifically in those five marker questions, guys. Give a reasoning for each step because that reasoning also counts in your marks.

[00:07:50]Okay? Now, the given protocol. So, as I've already told you in geometrical problems, write the given, what is to prove, what is what construction you're doing. Okay? Now, how should you divide that three hour window that you get to actually solve the paper? So, first of all, guys, I know a lot of students don't do it. They totally skip it. They're like they start solving. First instance, they start solving. No, guys. I would always suggest go through the paper. If you can go through the paper for 10 minutes, great. If you can go through the paper for five minutes, great. But, go through the paper. See all types of questions.

[00:08:26]Okay? Then, guys, for section A and B, these are the sections that should take minimum amount of time. MCQ and two marker questions are there. Okay? So, make sure that you solve these in 45 minutes. So, when you are doing sample paper, you know, for three hours when you're sitting down and doing, make sure that you follow this. Okay? Set a timer and see what time are you taking to do section A and B. Then, for section C and D, guys, 90 minutes is more than enough.

[00:08:56]Okay? And finally, guys, have a revision buffer. Okay? So, it it depends on every kind of student. I would suggest have a revision buffer of at least 15 to 10 to 15 minutes is more than enough. Okay?

[00:09:09]So, now, what are the time taking sections? Section C and section D. And guys, these are the sections where you might struggle because in also, we have a section E.

[00:09:22]Section E is also there, my fault, guys.

[00:09:24]Yes. So, section E, guys, is case based study problems. So, in section D and section E, you might face, you know, difficult problems, right? You saw the case study problems that came this year in February, they were not direct. In fact, I would rate them moderate to difficult. So, that means you have to pay special attention on solving case study problems. Make sure you solve all the past years case study problems and as many sample case study problems that you can find. Okay? And other than that, in section D, guys, you will for sure get competency based questions. So, be prepared. Okay? Now, next guys, the 8-day lockdown. So, you need to go on a lockdown for the next 8 days because then you have the paper. Right? So, first of all, if you have, uh, you know, no plan, you can make your own plan.

[00:10:18]This is just a plan that I have formed if you don't have a plan. For day one and two, make sure that you start revising algebra and statistics. Then go for geometrical proofs on day three and four. Then go for trigonometry and mensuration for day five and six. And then on day seven and eight, you have to do PYQs, guys. You cannot, like, skip PYQs. In fact, I would suggest that when you are going through all the chapters, you also go through the PYQs at the same time. Okay? So, go through the PYQs and at least solve PYQs for the past 8 years, specifically different types of PYQs. Write all the different varieties that you can gather from the past 8 years, solve them by hand. And finally, guys, May 14th will be the final day.

[00:11:06]In morning, don't do anything. Just revise all the formulas, all the concepts. That would be enough. Got it, everyone?

So, if you think that you are ready, like, you have revised everything, you have done PYQs, and you're like, "Ma'am, what different can I do because I want to score 100 out of 100. I don't want to lose even one mark." Then, butcha, NCERT Exemplar is your best friend. Go for NCERT Exemplar.

[00:11:36]And guys, go for last 10 years PYQ, not five. I would say 10 years. If you want to score full marks, go for last 10 years PYQs. See them, identify the different varieties of problems that have been asked. And guys, believe me, if you do that, nothing can stop you from scoring full marks in mathematics. And guys, believe me, scoring full marks in mathematics is not something impossible. It's not even very hard. You just need to have a focused plan, and you need to follow it.
