Doucette correctly reframes GLP-1s as a biological equalizer that levels the playing field for those battling intense hormonal hunger. This perspective successfully shifts the narrative from a moral struggle of willpower to a manageable physiological process.

This Is What GLPs Were Invented ForAdded:
didn't feel like cooking anymore. So, I packed up my meal prep for him to eat, and we headed off to his favorite fast-food restaurant. You like Wendy's?
Truth be told, when I was a kid, I didn't eat healthy at all. I would sneak in extra sugar into the Kool-Aid to have it more calorie concentrate. When I had my cereal, I would add more sugar, and I would scrape the cereal sugar off the bottom. It was delicious. I didn't give a [ __ ] I ate chips every day, ice cream every day, cakes every day.
But, you know what the difference was?
But, you know what the difference was? I loved being active. I would go outside and run for hours. I was doing outdoor activities, burning off calories all the time. And when I became a teenager, I got into doing triathlons, and I was doing 20 hours of cardio a week. You know how much food you can burn off when you're an athlete doing that much cardio? And so, although I ate like this guy, I essentially burnt it off. But, one more difference was I wasn't as hungry as him. My hunger hormones stayed stopped. When I was trying to break the world record for powerlifting in the bench press, I was weighing around 218 lb, and I knew to break the record at 220, I had to get up to about 240 lb.
And so, I went on a bulk. I got to 232, and I couldn't get any heavier.
Remember, I was abusing performance-enhancing drugs. I was eating like an [ __ ] I was eating as much as I could on purpose with the goal to bench press over 600 lb and set the world record.
I couldn't get that fat. I couldn't. I tried, but I couldn't do it. And so, the difference between myself and Ethan is my genetics for being lean are better than his. If I had his genetics, and I started force-feeding myself to gain to 240 lb, I probably would overshoot and end up at 300. But, it wasn't the case.
And so, it's not fair for me to say, "Oh, just put the fork down. It's easy."
No, it's not. It's easy for me because I have better genetics for being lean. If your ghrelin hormones are too strong and you can't stick to your diet, technically it's not your fault. I'm not saying you can't do anything about it, but your hormones are certainly making it up hill battle.
Until today, if you're hungry, you can go to your doctor, don't have to go to Albuterex, you can actually go to your doctor and you speak to him and you say, "You know what, doc? I'm 400 lb. That's not healthy, right, doc?" And the doc's going to say, "No, no, you need to cut back on the food. You need to start watching Coach Greg." Hopefully your doctor tells you that and and doing at least 150 minutes of cardio a week. You know, that's the basics, that's the building block, that's where you start.
You want to do more than that, hopefully you're walking perhaps an hour a day, eventually you want to build up to that.
But if he then doesn't tell you, "Well, what about this new Ozempic thing?"
And you'll be like, "Isn't that that thing that causes blindness and stuff?"
Yeah, some people, there is some negative side effects. Doesn't that cause your bones to get brittle and weak? Well, actually that's because some people that they take those doses too high and they're never hungry at all, like they can't even look at food. They skip breakfast, they skip lunch and they have to force feed supper. They're overdosing on the product. And so, any drug, if you take too much of it, is bad. You don't overdo the GLPs, you take the lowest dose it takes you happy, it reduces the food noise and we're all in a level playing field. Every single one of us can in fact lose weight. Calories in, calories out. How hard you want to make it, that's up to you. Hey, if you want to David Goggins it and just starve yourself and run 100 miles, by all [snorts] means. Hey, that's even more impressive.
>> We're just GOING TO STAY HARD, BROTHER.
BUT IF YOU ARE struggling and you've tried this in the past, I don't judge you. If you take Ozempic or tirzepatide, I say go for it. Don't abuse it, listen to your doctor, but I don't think it's as bad and I don't like the stigma around it. It to me it's the same stigma that says that if you're a man, you shouldn't be on HRT. I don't think it should be stigmatized. And so many people they don't dare talk about it.
Oh, you're on HRT, you're cheating. Oh, you lost weight from Ozempic, you're cheating. We need to stop this kind of attitude to make it seem like it's somehow a bad thing because last I checked living longer than last time, it's not a bad thing. When you're old and you're almost on your deathbed, you would give anything to live one more day. And so imagine losing weight and living five more years, 10 more years.
I'm certain that your kids, your wife, your husband, your family, your friends, everyone is going to be thanking their lucky stars that you decided to take a GLP once they find out that it's allowed you to live a longer and healthier life.
Remember, it's not just the quantity, how long you live, but the quality of your life as well. Do you really think it's fun to walk around at 660 lb? I'm not trying to shame him or put him down, but I'm saying he most certainly feels better at 440 than at 660. What kind of life is that? And so if you can reduce your weight by eating properly, taking said medications, using HCLT supplements, then why wouldn't you do that? And so I am in your support.
>> What's been the hardest thing about this deficit food-wise, like taste-wise for you?
Snacks. Low calorie snacks, there are two. These are the two that you're going to have. Protein ice cream. We've seen it, Coach Greg, the ice cream challenge.
Now we have the Ninja Creami. It's very easy to make low calorie delicious delicious volume filling snacks. The protein ice cream. The next is the Smart Pop popcorn, the popcorn. Plain popcorn.
Now if you want to spray it and put some salt and vinegar or some powders on it and so on, there's nothing wrong with that, but you can make a massive bowl, perhaps two bags of popcorn, it's going to be like 450 calories. You can eat for half an hour. It's a major optimal snack. Rather than chips that perhaps have the same amount of is going to have 2,000 calories, which is a smarter bet.
And so you can watch and eat your snack while watching your movies at night, cuddling up on the couch, and you won't know the difference. I mean, for the first few days, you might think, well, yeah, it's not quite as fatty as those chips, but trust me, you will get used to the popcorn, and you will love it.
Two of my biggest tips.
>> And as we talked about snacks, it reminded me to tell Ethan, this is your last carbs for the day, by the way. So, uh well, savor it. All the carbs right around the workout window.
>> And so, the truth be told, it doesn't matter when you eat your carbs, when you eat your protein, all this stuff. It really doesn't make that big a difference in terms of fat loss.
But the thing is this, if you eat a lot of carbs at night, remember he described about how hungry he is and the snacking at night. If you're eating a lot of carbs, for example, the chips, it's hard to stop. Your your hunger takes over, you start eating handfuls of cereal out of the box, and before you know it, the entire box is gone. You can't stop because they're trigger foods. And so, my advice is to keep trigger foods out of the house. And instead of that, if you eat things like protein, how many of you are going to eat like four chicken breasts and be like, oh, you know, I I ate four chicken breasts and I couldn't stop, and I ate the whole dozen. It doesn't happen, but when you're eating candies and jelly beans and jum jum worms and fudge packers and whatever, you kind of just can't stop.
It tastes so good, especially if you're using the edibles and you're eating and it tastes the deliciousness and you just can't stop. And so, you need to be careful. And so, I strongly recommend that you eat less of the carbs at night, not because it matter not because it makes a difference in your fat burning, but because they're often trigger foods, making it hard to stop.
>> But by this point in the day, Ethan typically didn't feel like cooking anymore. So, I packed up my meal prep for him to eat, and we headed off to his favorite fast food restaurant. You like Wendy's? And so, going to a fast food restaurant at night >> [snorts] >> to eat Wendy's, whatever, McDonald's, it doesn't really matter. It's a bad idea.
You're going to eat a ton of calories.
Restaurants don't care about making their foods healthy. They just want them to taste good and get you to come back for more. And so, it's clearly going to have too many calories. It's not going to be healthy, the french fries and so on. Now, if you're trying to bulk up really quickly and get fat, you're sumo wrestler, it's probably going to work.
But, aside from that, not a very good idea.
>> Look what I got for you. 130 [music] g of crispy flank steak and 85 g of brussels sprouts.
>> some vegetables and some steak, it's not going to cut it. He need to make the foods more delicious than last time. You really think he's going to stick to a diet eating this circle nonsense garbage crap? You feed that to an animal, they run away. The steak is it's good, but in comparison to that protein ice cream. This little bowl, it's 10:00 at night and you're hungry and you eat Time for my last meal.
You're cheating. You're going to go in the cupboard and you eat a box of cereal. And so, you need the protein ice cream at this point. You need the popcorn. This is the better way. Having gotten so far and having more understanding of like nutrition and dieting and calorie deficits than I ever have, but still slipping up.
>> And so, Ethan says, "Look, in comparison to what I knew 2 years ago to what I know now." He's essentially an expert.
He knows more than most people about losing weight. He's This has been his life.
But, he still slips up. He's still hungry. He still suffers. And so, how long can he keep this up? I'm telling you that that is what these medications were made for. They're made for people like Ethan who are morbidly obese and without these medications, most likely are taking years off their life.
Although there are some negative side effects that you should be careful from, I do believe that the pros outweigh the cons. And so, if you are interested in getting on a GLP, you need to lose weight, please speak to your doctor. Of course, you can go to Algarex. They have doctors there. They prescribe these medications. They're from compounding pharmacies. It's not some [ __ ] research chemical site. They only sell things above board. Everything is legit.
And so if you want to know exactly what you're taking with no guesswork, go to the company you can trust. Alpharx. Code Greg. 10% off.
>> Because I could tell you know it's not healthy. Even when I was eating this that it like obviously it's not it's not good for me. I think it goes without saying that every single person who weighs over 500 lb eating this kind of food knows that what they're eating isn't good for them. They just don't care. It's kind of like ignorance is bliss. You put it out of your mind.
You're doing the thing, but you're not thinking about it. You're not thinking should I actually eat this much fat, carbs, sodium, the whole thing. You're just thinking I'm going to eat. You don't worry about the fact that you're going to get a heart attack. You're not worried about the fact you're going to die younger because if you did, I mean, what kind of life would that be? You would be in constant anxiety. And so it's out of mind, out of sight until one day it isn't. One day you look in the mirror and say, "What has become of me?"
Perhaps this day is for you. You're watching this video and you decided, "Well, I can't do this no more." You don't have to weigh 440 lb. Perhaps you're 240. And you're thinking, "Where did I let myself go? I shouldn't be 50 lb overweight." And so I'm not telling you to be perfect, but I am saying that you can do better. Whatever that dream physique is of yours, you might not be able to get there, but can you make an attempt to go and reach halfway?
[snorts] And do that and if you can keep going after that, so be it. And if you don't, well, you've already reached your goal. And wouldn't that be great?
>> I'm highly debated. Like I don't know if I can eat more. Like I really just want to quit. I don't want to eat these [ __ ] fries, bro. You're so close, dude. This right here is like 3 hours on the treadmill.
>> And so Casey, who's consumed about 3 days worth of food in one, he's going to have to essentially starve max for the next 2 days to reduce the calories, but that is one of the differences. After Casey eats 8,000 calories in a day, the next day he's not going to do it again.
His body is now full. His carbs are saturated to the maximum. Some of those excess calories are going to then be converted to adipose tissue or body fat.
And so he's now going to have a decreased appetite. The next day maybe he only eats a thousand calories. The day after that a thousand until he re-stabilizes. But for Ethan, this was Groundhog's Day. It was a Tuesday for him. It didn't matter. And so the next day he wakes up and he's just as hungry.
And so imagine trying to diet every single day being that hungry. Anyone who has the potential to weigh over 600 pounds and is trying to be lean, imagine the food noise. I don't think we could understand. Perhaps if you were a bodybuilding competitor like myself and you competed at sub 5% body fat and you remember how hungry you always were, how often you thought of food, the starving that you were doing. Perhaps if you've done that you can have empathy for a guy like this rather than just saying you're fat, you're a loser, blah blah blah. You understand that it's probably not his choice. It wasn't his choice to choose his parents to be 200 pounds at 9 years of age. But it is his choice right now to make a difference. He's trying. He's losing weight. And so everyone respects somebody who's putting in the effort.
Now, if he was 660 pounds and saying there's more of me to love, love my body, body positivity, love me no matter what, it wouldn't hit the same. But when somebody's overweight and they're trying to do better, that's where I have all the respect in the world. Anyone out there who's trying, I don't care if it's to lose weight, to put on muscle, to do better in your school, in your job, in your work, with your friends. If you're trying to do better, to trying to improve yourself, what else can we ask for? That is what it's all about.
Weigh-in time.
>> And so Ethan, after following his starvation diet, didn't lose any. Not looking good. And in comparison, Casey, he was up 6.6 pounds. That is a lot, mostly of course, water weight, some fat. And so, you can see it isn't all that easy, but with weight loss, it's all about the fluctuations. Don't care about any individual day. If you just weigh yourself every Friday, what if that Friday you were bloated? It's going to make you depressed. And so, what I would suggest is what I like to do is I weigh myself every day of the week. If you forget a few and you have still have five, that's okay.
And you take the median weight. That's the middle number. You cross out the low numbers and the high numbers, and the middle number that's left, that is your true weight. You track that week to week, and if that number is going up, you're simply eating too much, or you're not burning enough of those calories off. You can either lower the calories or up the cardio. And if your weight is, in fact, going down, you nailed it. You did it. You just keep going. And so, you don't have to count calories every day. You don't have to make this overly complicated. You just have to track your weight. The weight is the measure. If your weight is consistently going down every week, you're clearly in a deficit and you're losing weight. It doesn't matter if you're eating 6,000 calories a day or 1,600 calories a day. If your weight's going down, you're winning. And so, not everyone's the same. People have different metabolisms. Some people burn off more calories when they're doing their walks, their cardio, than others, and they get to eat more. I can lose weight eating approximately 3,500 to 4,000 calories a day because I do a lot of cardio. Most people eating 3,500 are going to get very, very fat. I'm lucky.
I'm fit. I do cardio. I enjoy cardio.
And so, for me, weight loss and keeping my body fat below 10%, it's not really all that hard because I love it. And so, my advice, find something you love, find a sport, an activity, something that burns calories, whether it's dancing, yoga, karate, going to the gym, you name it, and do it, and do it often.
