>> I've been here about 3 weeks. But the the biggest experience has been meeting Murphy.

What can you tell us about um the Filipino people then anyway?
>> Uh the Filipino people are they're they're wonderful people.
Um pleasant, nice um and they're content they're they're contented kind of people. Um They may not have a lot, but they're content with what they've got.
And uh they're sociable, very sociable people and spend time together.
So yeah, it's it's a good place to come.
>> Oh yeah, by the way, um could you tell us how you managed to buy a property here in the Philippines?
Hey, that's a good one.
>> Yeah, yeah, that's a pretty good one. Uh it's pretty it was uh not too difficult.
Um two ways you can do it. You can lease property or you can have a Filipino corporation.
And then uh that's and let the corporation buy it for you. So that's the way I did it.
So that way the corporation owns the property.
>> Well, there you go. He's a smart man, this fellow. He managed to get one. And all you blokes out there, you're all freaking you're all freaking I don't know trying hard to get one and you're not succeeding, but this guy, Kentucky guy, managed to get one.
One question, right? How do uh Filipino people treat you?
>> How do they treat me?
>> Yeah.
>> They watch after me.
>> Yeah, I mean like you're here on your own, you're a solo traveler.
>> Yeah.
>> And >> Yeah.
>> And here you are doing it, you know?
Especially like at at your age. I mean [laughter] like >> Thanks, Murph.
>> Uh no, there's there's not many people doing it at your age doing a solo trip all the way from America to the Philippines especially like >> Yeah, so I'll take my hat off to you.

I mean a lot of people out there wishing, "Oh, I wish I could go to Boracay or places here here there but here you are doing it." So >> Uh well, it's truthfully the uh in the Philippines they have a lot of respect for older people and they look after them really. I I >> the number of times that someone's offered me a hand can't too many too numerous to count.
>> Yeah.
>> Too numerous to count.
>> What culture have you learned from the Philippines that you reckon you might want to adopt in America?
>> What have I learned in the Philippines that I want to adopt in America?
>> Yeah.
>> That's a tough question, Murph.
>> Yeah.
It's a good one.
>> Uh yeah, I would think I I I think uh not just America but a lot of places uh >> Mhm.
>> to know contentment.
Be content with what you've got.
>> That's right.
>> I think that's a big lesson you can learn from the Philippines.
>> Yeah, Filipino people are just they're just too polite, aren't they?
>> Yeah, they're super polite. They're super polite.
