Medical test results can be normal even when patients experience persistent symptoms, highlighting the complexity of diagnosing gastrointestinal conditions like esophageal inflammation or reflux, where symptoms may not always correlate with visible structural abnormalities or standard biopsy findings.

My TEST Results Came Back…Added:
All right, guys and gals. I received my test results back from all of the tests that were run on me, and the results are not exactly what I was expecting or the doctors were expecting. Now, these results, thank the Lord, were not bad results at all. And I'm going to get into exactly what they were. But before I do so, I just want to thank each and every one of you for all of your support, your care, your prayers, your thoughts, everybody for reaching out to me the way that you have and offering any kind of maybe solutions to my problems, things that worked for you, things that didn't work for you, you name it. I've received so much love from this amazing Corvette community and I don't know how to express my gratitude other than to just tell you thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. It just is overwhelming and so incredible the way that God works. And that's the thing. I have a relationship with Jesus and I know a lot of you out there do as well.
And without this amazing relationship with him and the community that I have of you guys and my friends and my family and all the support that I have out there, I just don't know how I would do it.
>> 1 minute 37 seconds later.
>> Now, the other thing that I wanted to bring up and talk about real quick is something that I left at home. This is a card that I received from Corvette Mike and his wife.
And I got to tell you guys, this is absolutely amazing.
So, he says, I don't know if you guys could see that or not. Hope you're feeling better soon. Mike, I'm sure you can use a little humor right now. We pray for your great health. Love, Mike and Sue. Corvette Mike from Delaware. So these are the kind of things that I've been receiving. Uh just wonderful, wonderful people reaching out, caring for me and my family and saying prayers for me and that means so much. So thank you again so much Corvette Mike and your wife Sue. I really appreciate the card >> flashback. Now when I went for my initial consultation with the GI doctor, they were thinking that I may have something called a cinophilic esophagitis or maybe Barrett's esophagitis. So those two were the things that they were maybe or thinking maybe I had. I don't have trouble swallowing. I don't have trouble eating.
I just have inflammation in my chest and in my throat at times. I do have a lot of good days though and I have days where I feel zero inflammation. So when they did the scope, he didn't see any inflammation in my esophagus, in my throat. They took some biopsies, you know, in my throat, in my esophagus, in my stomach. And I had to wait about a week and a half for those results to come back in. And they came back in. And I went into an appointment to get the results read to me. And thank the Lord, there's nothing wrong with me at all. I have, as far as like from the biopsy results. I have none of those conditions. There's nothing going on in my stomach. There's nothing going on in my esophagus. And we're all puzzled. The doctors really don't know exactly what's going on either because like I said in my first video, my medication stopped working. And so they put me on a new medication to just see how that worked.
I've been on it now like four or five days and that hasn't really done much for me. So, when I have a bad day, I still have a lot of heat and a lot of uh pain and pressure in this area and I do have reflux coming up.
They actually said I had a mild case of reflux. They also said I had a very mild hyal hernia which is very interesting.
It's only 1 cm in diameter. So, very interesting stuff there. They said that might not even be causing my symptoms.
So, they're wondering if I have a motility issue with my esophagus, and they're thinking about having me do some testing for that, but they're wanting me to stay on this new medicine for a while before I do that. I don't know what I'm going to do because this new medicine isn't working great at all. But again, I'm just super grateful and thankful that nothing major was found. Nothing bad at all was found. I know this isn't in my head. Despite the good results from the testing, I still have these symptoms that hit me and they don't feel good at all. They really make me have a lousy day. But as you can probably tell and imagine, this has been frustrating for me. It's been mentally frustrating beyond just frustrating when you're not feeling well and you're trying to live life, especially with a 2-year-old and your family and you're trying to make a living. It all just doesn't work out well when you're not feeling good. And it just makes it difficult when you have these symptoms even though the tests come back clear because you just don't really know what to do or what to believe. So, you know what? I'm going to continue to live life. I'm going to continue to eat perfect the way that I've been doing.
I'll probably still do some detox things like I was doing and just see what happens over the next few weeks. I am staying very positive, very hopeful. My hope is in the Lord and my relationship there. And I know that he's in control.
And I just have to ride this out. I'm in a season right now. and this is what I'm dealing with. But I know probably a year from now, I'm going to look back on this and know that it was just something I had to go through. As far as my content goes, I will slowly get back to my usual content. Obviously, as soon as I get my new Grand Sport content will be rolling out more frequently, but until then, I will try and step it up and get more videos out for you guys. And thank you for all of your patience and support there as well because I know, you know, when I'm used to doing double the amount of videos that I've been doing and I cut it way back the last couple of months. I know that's frustrating for probably a lot of the people out there, but a lot of you have reached out and said, "Don't even worry about YouTube. Your health is the most important thing." And I love that big time. But thank you so much for all of your support. You guys are absolutely amazing. I love each and every one of you and I couldn't do this without you guys. I'm so grateful to have such an amazing community based around Brink of Speed and Corvettes.
And by the way, I'm almost to my goal of 100,000 subscribers. So, thank you for that as well. I couldn't have done it without each and every one of you hitting that subscribe button. So, that's it for now. I hope each and every one of you have a blessed and wonderful rest of your day and we'll see you guys in the next upload.
