This is due to the density of the Pro Support base foam. It feels stable all the way to the perimeter, making the mattress feel larger because you can actually sleep right up to the edge without feeling like you're gonna roll off. Temperature control, 2.8 out of 10. This is the area where Casper struggled the most in our research. Despite the Airscape perforations, we gave it a 2.8 for cooling features. While the foam is open cell, the sheer density of the memory foam and polyoam base tends to retain heat. So, if you're a hot sleeper who frequently wakes up sweaty, the all foam Casper might be a challenge. You may want to look at the Casper Snow or Wave Hybrid versions for more active cooling.
