>> Stretcher's coming.
All right. Yeah, we're going to do stretcher.
>> Due to her many violent attempts at fleeing police custody, officers must restrain Jillian by securing her to a stretcher in order to remove her from the park without the possibility of her hurting other visitors, police officers, or herself.
>> All right. Somebody grab the other arm.
>> I got it.
>> You are under arrest for battery on LEO and possibly other charges. So, just relax. Definitely resisting and battery, okay?
>> Because of her entitlement and refusal to comply, what started as a simple investigation with an alleged victim claiming nothing happened has spiraled into several serious charges involving violence on police officers in addition to the original complaint. Outside the theme park, Jillian is loaded into an ambulance to be taken to the hospital for basic first aid and to be checked out for any serious injuries before she can be taken to the local jail to be booked on her charges.
Back at the scene, an officer has another interview with Jillian's fiance now that the whole picture has emerged.
Even with fresh scratches on his face, he actively tries to cover for her.
>> I'm conducting my investigation. I had didn't have a chance cuz now, what is she to you?
>> Fiance.
>> She's your fiance. You guys live together?
>> Uh a lot of time, yeah.
>> Okay. So, what happened between you and her today?
>> I mean, I just saw her get intoxicated and I wanted to get her out of here, so I contacted the security and cuz she's getting increasingly agitated and I knew she just needed to get out of here.
>> Okay. So, at no time did she Your Your statement is that she didn't touch you in any way. She did nothing to you.
>> No.
>> Sir, listen. We have four witnesses that says she and I you her slapping you and pulling you by the hair.
>> I think she was getting really sloppy and I was trying to keep her steady.
>> Okay.
>> But she did not hurt me, she did not attack me.
>> But what is that on your face?
>> It's not from today.
>> Oh, it's not?
>> That that scratch there is not from today.
>> See that that's obviously Cuz we have four witnesses that say >> It's normal for her to put her hands on you if it's not from today?
>> That is not from her, that is not from today. I'm just pointing out that that is nothing from today.
>> What about the one down here? You have a fresh It looks like fresh over here.
It's You're still bleeding right there on the on the lower part of your face.
And on the side of your face over here, too. There you have scratch marks. If you lift your hair, I I can see scratch marks right here on the side of your face as well.
>> She was falling down, I held her up.
>> Will you be able to write me a statement about what happened today?
>> I don't want to do a handwritten statement, sir. I just >> Okay, so you're refusing to write a statement. I'm just I'm just asking, yes or no?
So here's the thing, um she is going to jail for battery on LEO, for resisting officer with violence, resisting officer without violence. She's going to go to jail for battering you. It's uh in the state of Florida, domestic violence. You don't have to cooperate, we have witnesses. I know you're trying to protect her, uh but we do have witnesses, she is going to be charged with battery, domestic violence. She will not be getting out of jail today, she will see a judge in the morning, and they'll probably receive a bond from there, you know, so >> Do you have all your stuff? You can They'll escort you out or I mean >> Do you want to stay in the park or what?
>> I know you're saying that that injury on your face has nothing to do with this, and and and we're just going to document it. I have to document it, okay?
>> Okay.
>> Um but you're good to go, sir. You guys want to trespass >> Trespass both of them from the park?
>> He didn't do anything towards her, so only her.
>> So you're good. Okay. I'll make sure we fill out a trespassing form.
>> Okay.
>> So how do we find out what happens >> Yeah, okay.
>> what becomes of her today?
>> Uh right now, she's going to be cleared by the hospital because of her abrasions. Once she's Once that Yeah, once that She's going to be She's going to be I think she's on the way, but she At some point she'll be cleared by doctors.
>> After being cleared by medical staff at the hospital, Jalyn is released into the officer's custody for transport to jail.
>> For safety of the search, you okay, Jill? From officer Williams, you okay?
Sorry? It's okay?
So, now we have your phone and everything else, all right?
>> I'm going to get all your belongings.
So, like I said, because you're going to jail, um Sorry about that.
Any contraband that's inside?
I don't want to put that on you.
Uh I'm sorry, that's why I asked.
What's your name?
Um so, right now I'm taking you to the Orange County Booking and Release Center.
Uh So, once you're jail, you have to wait to see a judge. He sets bond, and then you pay a bond, you can get out.
Probably not today.
Uh uncertain. I'm not sure. Kyle, are you sure?
>> After the arrest, she faced five charges.
Two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer with violence, resisting an officer without violence, and domestic violence battery. She was held on a $5,000 bond, which she later posted.
Prosecutors formally filed four of the charges, declining to pursue the felony charge of resisting with violence.
Ultimately, she entered a plea of no contest to the misdemeanor charge of resisting an officer without violence.
She initially pleaded not guilty to battery on a law enforcement officer.
However, the charge was dropped by the prosecutor.
The judge withheld adjudication on the charge of resisting an officer without violence. No action was taken for the remaining charges. [music] She was required to write a letter of apology and pay $1,348 in court costs, fees, and investigative reimbursements to the police department.
At the time of the incident, she was an international tourist visiting from Canada.
