Dealerships often add optional packages (like ceramic coatings, warranties, and accessories) to car prices at the last minute, claiming they are standard or mandatory, but these are actually optional add-ons that can be negotiated away or reduced; buyers should refuse to pay for unwanted items and can often get them removed or significantly discounted by simply stating they will only purchase the car without these add-ons.

Dealership Fees Are Optional!
Added:So, you're not supposed to know this, but you know when you're buying a car and at the last second the dealership adds on all those add-on packages and accessories that you didn't ask for, you don't actually have to pay for those.
So, my name is Kevin and I negotiate car deals for a living and I see this all the time. Right at the last second after they're going through pricing and everything, they throw in there that "Oh, we actually have our MVP package on this car. We put it on all of our cars.
It only costs $3,000, but you get so much for it. You get an exterior ceramic coating, ceramic. You get an interior ceramic coating. That doesn't actually exist. You get screen protectors. You get a warranty on your windshield so that when you crack your windshield in 10 miles, we'll replace the whole thing for free." What they don't tell you is that for all these warranties, the window tint warranty, the screen protector warranty, the the interior cloth seat rip warranty, they'll do anything they can to get out of actually honoring that warranty for you when you go to cash in on it. What they don't tell you is that all of these are optional. Some dealerships might say to you, "Oh, you have to buy this MVP package from us if you want to buy our car. We put it on all of our cars. We're not taking it off." Okay, well, that's fine. The dealership 10 minutes down the road has the exact same car and they're not charging me for any of this useless stuff that I don't want in the first place. But, I promise you and through my own experience I've seen this over and over again, 90% of the time, if you make it clear that you're not buying their car with this MVP package and that you're only going to buy it if they take it off, they'll take it off. Worst case scenario that I've seen in something like window tints that actually does provide value, window tints are great, they'll take the cost that's heavily inflated, they'll say they're selling it for like 800 bucks, they'll bring it down to their actual cost of like 250 maybe. They're still paying the extra 250, in that case sometimes we'll even get them to throw in free delivery of the vehicle so that my client never even has to go into the dealership. Now, if you don't want to have to think about any of this yourself, you don't want to deal with this process yourself, check out the link in my bio because we make it the easiest way to buy a new car. If you do want to go through this process yourself, more power to you. I encourage you. Follow my page because I post a helpful video like this every single day.
