Will Kaspa Replace Bitcoin!? CZ Bold prediction explained

[00:00:00]Bitcoin is still going to be the global money. Look, you know, we've now had Bitcoin around for X years and you know, it's we we know what the problems are. We know there's quantum risk. Do you think Bitcoin Bitcoin is going to be global money or have you changed your thesis there?

[00:00:30]So, after CZ said that Bitcoin might be replaced someday, most of the people have been shocked. But before most of the people start to discuss which cryptocurrency might replace Bitcoin, let's first of all understand why Bitcoin might get replaced.

[00:00:44]We're going to start with this post that says, "People will take it as a shock line, but it's actually a simple take reality check. No system stays permanent in an evolving network economy.

[00:00:56]Bitcoin proved trustless money and digital scarcity, but the next phase is not about proving value. It's about scaling it. This is where projects like Casper quietly change the conversation.

[00:02:03]Now, this explains perfectly why Casper is perfectly positioned to dominate in this coming economy.

[00:02:37]Now, most of the people think that if Bitcoin was to become replaced in the near future, some cryptocurrency, some random blockchain is going to come out and take over Bitcoin.

[00:02:50]But, most of the people forget that Casper took more than a decade of research.

[00:02:55]As this post from the Casper website says, "Casper did not come out of the usual hype cycle.

[00:03:02]It came out of veteran research, fair launch, open-source execution, and years of pushing where most of the crypto stopped pushing.

[00:03:11]Everyone ignored proof-of-work.

[00:03:14]Everyone thought that proof-of-work systems cannot scale. Proof-of-work systems are very slow.

[00:03:20]But, Casper decided to dig deep and find solutions. And as you can see, this is something that we always talk about in the Casper ecosystem. Most of these blockchains that you see right now used this research and went on to create blockchains that are worth billions of US dollars in market cap right now.

[00:03:42]So, when people like CZ say that Bitcoin might be replaced someday, people think that there's some magic cryptocurrency or blockchain that is going to come out and overtake Bitcoin and take over the whole crypto industry.

[00:03:56]But while most of the people are looking somewhere else, people are leaving the obvious answer. And the obvious answer here is Kaspa.

[00:04:29]So, to put it in simple terms, the decentralization that you obtain in Bitcoin after 1 hour, with Kaspa, you get it within just seconds.

[00:04:39]And that is why real-time decentralization is the North Star of Kaspa.

[00:04:44]Now, I still think that the main reason as to why most of the people are still ignoring Kaspa is because of its price.

[00:04:51]Most of the people want to see something pump before they get involved. But this is the exact wrong approach. You don't want to get into cryptocurrencies that are already pumping.

[00:05:02]A good example here is Zcash.

[00:05:04]Since 2017, Zcash wasn't able to break 380 US dollars.

[00:05:11]And in May 2021, that was the last time that Zcash touched 375 US dollars. Now, from 2021 to 2025, last year, Zcash was in a downtrend.

[00:05:26]And most of the people never bothered even to look at the price of Zcash.

[00:05:31]At that time, the price of Zcash was around 35 to 40 US dollars.

[00:05:36]Now, after Zcash pumped to 740 US dollars, that was a 20 plus X, everybody's talking about Zcash. Everybody wants to talk about Zcash.

[00:05:48]But Zcash is a good example of what is about to happen to Casper.

[00:05:53]I like this post from Parker that says, "I hope Zcash helps lead a broader rethink of proof of work beyond Bitcoin.

[00:06:01]A healthier crypto era should return to the fundamentals that made this space matter.

[00:06:07]Sound money, privacy, open participation and credible neutrality.

[00:06:13]I'm patient for Casper time. The values matter more than the timing." Now, if you look at the price action of Zcash, it took more than 4 years in a downtrend. And since 2017, Zcash never broke above 370 US dollars.

[00:06:32]But in 2025 alone, it only took 3 months for Zcash to go from 35 US dollars to 740 US dollars. Now, that's more than a 20X in just 3 months.

[00:06:48]Now, most of the people will tell you that Casper is not going anywhere. But wait until Casper does even a 5X.

[00:06:56]Wait until Casper hits new all-time highs.

[00:06:59]You're going to see everybody start to talk about Casper.

[00:07:04]Now, after that happens, that's not going to be the perfect time to enter Casper.

[00:07:43]Now these people are not blind, they do their own research and of course they won't put their money on chains that they know that these chains are not reliable. They have to find something that is reliable and as we talked about in the previous videos, you can see even the US military decided to go for proof of work to secure networks.

[00:08:06]Now these big institutions also want something that is secure and reliable and Casper provides all of that with real-time decentralization.
