URGENT! DOUBLE HEARTS RAID, MOORE EXIT AND NEW DEFENDER! RANGERS FC NEWS本站添加:
Right, lads. Chris Boyd's gone public and said exactly who he wants in that Ibrox dugout, and it's not Danny Röhl.
We're closing in on a 6-foot-5 teenage defensive monster, and half of Europe's already trying to beat us to him.
Emmanuel Fernández could be on his way out this summer, and the clubs circling are absolutely massive. And one of our loanees has just said goodbye to Rangers in a way that'll genuinely warm your heart. If you're not subscribed yet, now's the time. And stay till the end of this one because I'm going to reply to some of your comments from the last video about Findlay Curtis and Andreas Skov Olsen. We are the people.
So, this one popped up on social media, and look, it's a short one, but it deserves a mention. One of our loanees has come out and posted a proper classy farewell message to the club, thanked the staff, the players, the fans, said he's made friends for life, and that it was an honor every time he pulled on the shirt, even finished it off with we are the people.
You love to see that. Now, yeah, he admitted himself it didn't end the way any of us wanted, and he's right about that.
But I'll tell you what, when a lad leaves this club and says he's going to follow Rangers as a fan from now on, that tells you Ibrox got under his skin.
That's what this club does to people.
That's the magic of the place. Fair play to the boy. Showed more respect in one little post than some players show in an entire career. We wish him well wherever he ends up.
So, this one came out on Ibrox News, and listen, Chris Boyd's gone and said exactly what half of us have been thinking for weeks now.
Speaking on The Warm Up yesterday, Boydy came out and said, if it was up to him, he'd go straight to Tyne Castle right now and get Derek McInnes through that door at Ibrox. And not just McInnes, he'd bring Lawrence Shankland with him as well. A proper double raid on Hearts. And I'll be honest with you, I think the man's got a point. Look at what McInnes did at Hearts this season.
Led the league for most of the campaign.
24 wins, eight draws, only six defeats in the Premiership. Got to the final day with a genuine shout at the title. Yeah, they fell short at Parkhead against Celtic on the last day, but that's a manager who nearly pulled off something incredible with a Hearts squad. Imagine what he could do with our resources.
Now, compare that to what we've had.
Danny Rohl had us in the driving seat at one point. We all saw it. And then what happened? Four defeats on the bounce after the split. Four.
When it mattered most, when we needed someone to steady the ship and show a bit of bottle, the wheels came off completely. His team selection, his decisions, all of it's been under the microscope and rightly so.
I've watched this club long enough to know when a manager hasn't got what it takes for the pressure of Ibrox. And I'm sorry, but losing four in a row when the title's on the line tells you everything you need to know. Now, yeah, Andrew Cavanagh's come out and said Rohl isn't going anywhere for now.
Fair enough.
But Boyd's right to raise the question cuz we need to be thinking about next season already.
We can't go through that collapse again.
And Shankland, look, we lacked a reliable goalscorer all season. Everyone knows it. Bringing him to Ibrox would give us that finisher we've been crying out for.
The man knows where the net is.
Hearts have just had their hearts ripped out losing the title on the final day.
McInnes and his squad are going to be emotionally drained. If there was ever a time to move, it's now. Boyd sees it. I see it. The question is whether the board sees it. If the board came out tomorrow and said Danny Rolls staying for next season and that's final, would you still renew your season ticket or has that post-split collapse killed your faith in this manager for good?
Let me know down below because I think this is a conversation we need to have.
Right, this one's come from Team Talk and it's a big one. So, we're making serious moves for a young Nigerian center back called Akpere Victory. 19 years old, 6'5, built like an absolute unit, currently playing over in Hungary at Zalaegerszegi.
And from what Team Talk is saying, talks are going well and the lad himself fancy's coming to Ibrox. That's what you want to hear.
Now, this isn't some bargain bin deal either. We're talking north of 5 million euros, roughly 4.3 million pounds.
That's proper money for a 19-year-old from Hungary, but when you look at who else is sniffing around, Benfica, clubs in Germany, Spain, France, you start to understand why.
The fact we're apparently leading the race ahead of that lot tells me the board are actually serious about this window. About time as well. The lad only joined Zalaegerszegi back in January, but he's already turned heads with his physicality and composure. 6'5 at 19.
You can't teach that. He's got a contract till 2028 with an option for another year. So, the Hungarian club are in no rush to sell cheap. But, Victory sees Glasgow as the right move for his development.
Smart lad.
Now, here's the bit that stings a little. This signing looks like it's being lined up because Diallo might be on his way out this summer.
And look, we all knew this was coming.
The boy's been absolutely brilliant for us, made the PFA Scotland Premiership team of the year, and now half of Europe's watching him. Borussia Dortmund have been tracking him for a while.
Bayer Leverkusen are interested. Arsenal and Chelsea have had scouts at our games. Feyenoord have been the most concrete with their scouts practically living at Ibrox this season.
West Ham, Everton, Ajax, Club Brugge, the list goes on. Fernandes himself has said he's loving life at Rangers, and I believe him. But, let's be real.
When clubs like that come calling with serious money, it's hard to say no.
We're reportedly going to demand more than 20 million pounds for him, and with Peterborough having a sell-on clause, we need to make sure we get every penny.
So, the plan seems clear. Get Victory in now, give us that continuity in the back line, and if Fernandes does go, we're not left scrambling in August like we've done before.
I actually think this is smart business for once.
You sell high on Fernandes, you reinvest in a young talent who could be here for years. That's how a proper club operates.
But, here's my question for you, and I want you to really think about this one.
If we sell Fernandes for 20 million plus, and we only spend four or five million on his replacement, where does the rest of that money go?
Do you actually trust this board to reinvest it properly into the squad, or are we going to see the same old disappearing act with the transfer funds?
Tell me what you think down below.
Right, lads. Before we wrap up, I want to respond to some of your comments from the last video cuz you had some great ones in there. First up, Gerald Ray 7581.
And mate, you left two belters, so I'm going to hit both.
You said we'll be 12 points behind by November and the board is way out of touch. Look, I hear you. I really do.
And I understand that frustration. 67 years watching this club, you said it yourself. You've seen the good and the bad. But listen, we can't be writing off the season before a ball's even been kicked. I get the fear. I get the anger.
Trust me, I feel it, too. But we're Rangers. We've come back from worse than this.
The board needs to sort itself out. Yes, no argument there.
But 12 points behind by November?
Let's give the boys a chance first, eh?
If it goes that way, I'll be the first one shouting about it right here on this channel. I promise you that. And your other comment, you said you won't be surprised if Rohl puts Curtis back out on loan again and called the manager a disaster. Well, mate, after today's video, I think we're all singing from the same hymn sheet on that one. If Curtis goes out on loan again after what he's done at Kilmarnock, then yes, serious questions need answering.
I trust that instinct more than any press conference. I'll tell you that much. Now, William Martin 5734.
Oh, I love this comment. You said get more back in, get rid of Skov Olsen, stick Curtis alongside him, twin 10s or both flanks, and let them terrorize defenses together.
Mate, that a beautiful thought.
Two young, committed, hungry players running at defenders from both sides.
I'd pay good money to see that. That's the kind of thinking that gives me hope.
That's the Rangers way.
Youth, energy, desire.
Not overpriced loanees who won't take a man on.
Sensational is the word you used, and I agree with you 100%.
Keep the comments coming, lads. I read every single one of them, and I'll keep responding. This is your channel as much as mine. We are the people.
