Dr. John Harmon, thank you so much for joining me. Go ahead and share what's on your heart today.

[00:02:42]Yes, you you named a few things that um I've done in my career and there there are a few more, but just know that there's a little bit of experience in there. I I beat myself up doing chiropractic for 22 years and I made a shift into some other areas. oxidative medicine like you said QEG neuro feedback some functional neurology and and other things but I I'm really glad to be here tonight to to share this information with your your listeners and we talk about the GHK copper peptide and we talk about the sometimes we talk about the book that I wrote about copper peptides And I got to tell you, Joe, there was so much information about the brain when I did the re research for that book is that I had to divide it up into three chapters. You know, the cardiovascular one chapter, skin and hair one chapter, brain three chapters. So there there is a lot of information about the brain.

[00:03:54]And if you want me to focus on that tonight, I can do that. or do you want me to kind of weave in cardiovascular as well?

[00:04:01]>> Uh, mostly brain, a little cardiovascular because yeah, there's there's some football players on here that are struggling with with short-term and long-term memory.

[00:04:09]>> Okay. So, our brain has a protective layer called the bloodb brain barrier and it's designed to keep bigger things out like bacteria and other things that can harm us. And it has really small openings uh in order to get the the nutrients in that we need. And it is this peptide, the GHK copper peptide that transports or basically escorts copper through that bloodb brain barrier where we have to have it in order to make neurons, neurotransmitters, synapses, and a substance called BDNF.

[00:04:54]Without getting too detailed about that, brain derived neurotropic factor or BDNF is what your body releases a lot of when we're doing new tasks. And it signals your brain, hey, you know, Joe has done this every day for the last three days for at least a minute. He's probably going to do it again. Let's make some new neurons so he can do it better. This is what neuroplasticity is all about where we're learning new things. We're making new neurons. so that we can do those new things. So very very important because we all lose somewhere between 9,000 and 12,000 neurons a day. They're old, they're sick, they're dying, and those are those are gone. But we only replace somewhere around 2,000 of those that we lose. So I always ask people in my practice, what are you doing to help prevent the loss? And what are you doing to help your brain gain more? And that's another topic that we can talk about.

[00:05:58]But when you look at this peptide, it not only transports copper across the blood brain barrier, but you have to have but excuse me, the GHK is very instrumental in neuro regeneration pre um prevention of cognitive decline.

[00:06:20]And you look at just those two things right there. The difference between a really great older decade or two. You know, we all have a lifespan, right? We have this lifespan. It got about 3 minutes closer to the time when that clock start stops ticking.

[00:06:42]Somewhere in that lifespan is what we call our health span.

[00:06:47]And if we can in the background of our lives be continually replacing and repairing not only our our brain cells but also the the rest of the cells in our body that get old. So my goal is to help people increase the length of that health span portion of their lifetime so that they do remember who they are.

[00:07:15]They're not meeting a new person in their house every 15 minutes. It's their spouse. And they're able to travel and go visit people in their older years.

[00:07:25]When I say older years, my wife and I are kind of in that that that phase right now. We're in the the the go- go phase. There's the 60s are go- go and then the 70s are slow go. I'm 72. She's 60. She's 61, but I'm really physiologically in in my u my biological age test told me that and it said I was 58. So I'm in the go go phase. We're in the go go go phase. We want to go places. And the fact that we're, you know, we've been using this technology for six years, it has enabled us to not just maintain our vitality and our vigor, but over these last six years, it's gotten better and we have the ability to do that. Now, we're kind of living the the uh the lifewave lifestyle. I I sold my practice and now I get to work from from wherever I want.

[00:08:22]So this the brain the three brain chapters in how to reverse aging explain how that happens. Why is this GHK carbopeptide so important? Here's another thing you talked about CTE.

[00:08:39]Football players, basketball players, sport, anybody involved in sports, you're going to get dinged up. You're going to hit your head. Here's what they found about GHK. If someone they they did experiments on rats and lab rats, but what they found is if these these uh lab rats had a high amount of GHK in their system in their brain, when they did get injured, there was much less swelling.

[00:09:11]When they did get injured, there was much there were many fewer brain cells that died as a result of that injury. So decreased suburmal subdural he hematoma and fewer what we call um apoptoic cells or cells that die as a result of that swelling. Swelling is less, bleeding is less, and fewer cells die when you get injured if you have high amount of GHK.

[00:09:46]So you football players on this call, you need to tell your buddies that are still playing, you may be the only source they have or connection in in their circle who could get the patch on them prior to getting injured or hitting their head. And who knows what that can prevent if if they do have that. Who knows how bad it will be. Who knows how how much, you know, if something never happens, you know, obviously you don't you don't think about it and you never measure it. But if you help them get that on there and then they don't get the really harmful squelli after um getting hit in the head, that would be a really great thing.

[00:10:31]How much time do I have, Joe? I love talking about this, but I I uh I want to be uh conscious of how much time you have and how much time you want to give me.

[00:10:42]>> Uh probably another 10 more minutes, but you know, I did I did want to ask you why why are people so averse to this techn it sounds too good to be true, right?

[00:10:54]It's not believable enough. I hear a lot of people say, "Well, I'm just going to go along with the regimen that my doctor's recommending." And and the football players, you know, I think they have a couple of screws loose. They they don't quite understand it, so people are chicken to put it on their body. What What are you finding? And what I found over six years are people are so um accepting and we've been indoctrinated on drugs, taking drugs and and they're fast acting.

[00:11:30]So, you know, if somebody has high blood pressure, the doctor gives me my blood pressure meds, my blood pressure goes down.

[00:11:37]But we have it's it's our responsibility to teach these people and give them an education about what to expect and and this is helpful when I've done this and I I hope to that your audience will will pick up on this and explain this as well. I in my conversation when I'm introducing somebody to this I say I if you know the opportunity arises I say what are the two reasons that people go to a doctor there are only two you either think you have something or you have something and you're going to the doctor to find out what it is or you go for an annual physical. There aren't any other reasons. You don't go to the doctor and say, "Hey, I'd like you to do a CT scan of my abdomen and an MRI of my" That's not how it works. You go for your physical. The doctor does the basic stuff. Let's Let's throw out Let's just discard for a second. You know, you have something. You're going to the doctor for the physical. You You don't think you have anything? I don't have any symptoms. So, you know, my doctor's going to do the basic tests. He does. the blood test, the blood pressure, the this, the that, the basics.

[00:12:55]Three days later, that person dies from something they didn't even know they had.

[00:13:00]So, if you don't know you have something, how are you going to know if it goes away?

[00:13:06]So, the mindset has to change. If you if you want your body to repair itself in the background of your life, unbeknownst to you, wearing this little patch because the X39 does one thing.

But, um, it really um all happened about when I was 29. It was about 41 years ago, so you can figure that out. Um, it started then when I woke up at 4:30 in the morning with a massive muscle spasm in my back and my life just has not been the same ever since then.

[00:21:07]So, um, are you supposed to be black because I can't see anything.

[00:21:12]>> You're doing great.

[00:21:14]>> Okay. Okay. I don't want to be talking to myself and not know it.

[00:21:18]Um, so in a nutshell, neck problems, back, upper back problems, lower back, severe lower back, and right hip.

[00:21:31]My body, you would never know it. Um, you know, life goes on. I have I had three boys and life is active. So, but my body always felt like it was being pulled to the side to the right side all the time.

[00:21:48]So, um, I tried every modality possible.

[00:21:52]I've tried the acupuncture and the cortisone shots and myofascial release, uh, massages. I mean, etc., etc., etc. I tried it all.

[00:22:04]Um, excuse me, Dr. Harmon, but I could probably have another house with the money I've spent on chiropractic because I've just lived at the chiropractor. Um, and I'm not not one to want to take um, ibuprofen or anything like that. Um, I also in 2012 was diagnosed with alopecia. It's a rare form that my hairline actually um, recedes and I have a very good hair stylist.

[00:25:24]Um, the very first night that I put it on, I always sleep with a pillow between my legs and I always feel it. And I would I would realize um I'm I make can hand my cards and I teach people and so I'm at my desk a lot and I would realize that my upper back wasn't excruciating at the end of the day. My shoulder was, you know, I was going to physical therapy, but it just all of a sudden just got so much better. So, my shoulder, my neck is like the biggest thing because that was so hard to sleep at such when my neck released and I just again I just feel like I've been let out of a straight jacket.

[00:28:23]Um, and then just quick, um, if you touched the tea bands on my leg or lots of points on my on my thigh, upper thighs, it was, uh, like you were touching, um, pressing on a really bad bruise.

[00:28:38]I've had that forever and that is gone.

[00:28:42]It I don't have that anymore. My parapformis muscle released.

[00:28:47]And um so one of the things that um happened to me was I fell and I'm getting all this great lease and I fell and I went flying forward and I fell on my knee, jerked back my hip and I'm just thinking and it it it started to swell up. I put ice on it.

[00:29:10]By the I'm I someone came to the door and was visiting me. When they left, I asked my husband to go get the Eon patch and I put it on and my knee from my knee down to my my foot was aching and it hurt and I couldn't believe the feelings I was getting in my foot. It just hurt so bad.

It's probably the most enjoyable thing my wife and I have ever done in business and commerce. So, what's important in your life? You've got to ask yourself. Spending more time with family, ladies. Securities. I know in our marriage care ministry, security is the number one desire for a woman in her family. Travel. Absolutely. Lifewave offers incentive trips every single year.
