What happens when unpaid taxes can cost someone their home?Added:
I'm been looking for looking at buying a house and because I am pretty low income, I try to find alternate ways of buying a house and I've looked into the county Wake County seizes houses all the time. $600,000 house, you owe $12,000 in tax, belongs to the county now. And that's somebody's $600,000 house that the county's like, "Nope, you didn't pay your taxes, it's ours. We're going to auction it to the highest bidder." So, I just think that's horrible.
