But I think this year given the US being so pro cry pro pro crypto and every other country is kind of following um I do think we we will see this this we will probably break the four year cycle. Yeah >> crypto crew May and June can be very bullish for crypto as a whole specifically for Caspa. We'll discuss a couple of things with the latest coming from core developer Michael Sutton and also one of those instigators that may well finally open up the floodgates regarding this next phase of the 2026 bull cycle. [00:05:13]The Senate Banking Committee is scheduled to hold the first markup committee review and amend session on Thursday, May 14th, 2026. This is a key procedural step after the bill passed the House in 2025. A successful markup would advance it towards a full Senate vote, though further hurdles, floor vote, reconciliation with House version, and presidential signature remain. But what does this mean? Should the Clarity Act indeed pass? First, it would establish clear regulatory rules for digital assets in the United States as it clearly divides oversight between the CFTC for commodities and the SEC for securities. This regulatory clarity would dramatically reduce legal uncertainty and enforcement risks for crypto exchanges, DeFi projects, developers, and stable coin issuers. As a result, it would make it much easier for traditional institutions to participate, unlock more capital, and drive a new wave of responsible innovation across the entire ecosystem.

[00:06:18]For Casper specifically, the impact could be especially strong as Casper's fair launch design with no premine, no ICO, and pure proof of work like Bitcoin positions it well to be classified as a digital commodity under CFTC oversight rather than facing SEC scrutiny. This would lower regulatory risk, make US exchange listings easier, including on major platforms, and open the door to greater and even institutional investment and adoption. Perhaps the Clarity Act passage could reduce regulatory uncertainty and make it much easier to spotless cash on major US exchanges the likes of Coinbase. when legislation comes out and gets signed into law, uh, from your perspective, what are the things that you expect to see over the next year in terms of who knew will be participating in the crypto ecosystem and what do you expect they will be doing?

[00:07:15]>> Yeah. Well, you're correct that the Clarity Act is about much more than just stable coins and rewards. I think as Paul mentioned, it it will create a lot of opportunities for people to work on tokenization, having clarity about what's a commodity versus a security uh exchanges and custodians, what their roles are. You know, DeFi has uh an important role to play here. Um self-custodial wallets and so there's going to be lots of energy that comes out of it. I think it's going to be a little bit like when the Genius Act passed we for stable coins and we saw a couple hundred large companies in the US come out in the subsequent months and announce integrations with stable coins and so this means that hopefully lots of companies post uh in a world post clarity being passed will come out and start to integrate crypto. They might uh use it to raise money on chain. Um they might use it to provide crypto services to their customers. I think it'll just unlock a lot of institutional capital that will flow into the space broadly and the the opportunity is really there for Coinbase to go provide those services to all these companies coming into crypto post clarity being passed into law and actually power integrations for many of them as well via Coinbase developer platform. So we think it's going to be very additive. We want every company to be integrated into the crypto enabled financial system just like they use the internet or AI or any other technology.

[00:08:38]>> Brian Armstrong nailed it. This bill is massive. Clear rules on securities versus commodities, tokenization, DeFi, and self-custody will unlock serious institutional capital just like stable coins did after their framework passed.

[00:08:53]>> Um there's nothing replacing Bitcoin just yet. Uh, in the future there may be there may be a better version of of a Bitcoin money, but today I don't see it yet.
