As a Muslim student in Chinese university

The people here, they are very tolerant, the local Sichuan people, and they are open to every culture. They won't judge you according to your appearance or your hijab. They are all very kind and nice nice to me. Just in front of the our university, there's many halal restaurant outside just like the one we tried.

[00:00:54]Actually, many Chinese people they don't know much about Islamic culture or Muslim because culture here is a Han Chinese culture.

[00:01:02]And then even at school, we don't learn much about Islamic culture or any other religious culture.

[00:01:15]>> Sure, in city center the Huangcheng Mosque. So, the location is very nice and also nearby the masjid, there are many halal restaurants.

[00:01:29]>> Actually, in Beijing there's a much more masjid in the city area.

[00:01:33]>> So, when you pray, what's their reaction?

[00:01:37]>> So, because many people they have never encountered such culture before. So, for them it's like first time and they are very curious.

[00:01:48]>> No.
