The Elders Didn't Believe Her. The Police Did. I Travel to Attend the Trial.

[00:00:00]A ministerial servant used his position in the Jehovah's Witness congregation to get close to a single mother and then after that even closer to her young boys.

[00:00:12]And what happened next has eventually led to a trial that's about to come up.

[00:00:19]And I have been invited to attend the trial. It is we think it is going to be a public trial, so I should be able to attend, but a little more set up information. There were indications reported indications that the elders may have known about concerning behavior from this man before he even met the single mother.

[00:00:40]Uh when she did eventually she found out about what was going on uh obviously horrifying she reported these allegations to the elders. And she said she was discouraged from reporting it to the police.

[00:00:54]She said also that uh after they did their so-called investigation she was said let's leave it in our hands, leave it in Jehovah's hands. What the that's what they always say, right? Uh one elder reportedly told her I don't want to talk about this anymore.

[00:01:11]Just wow.

[00:01:13]He just wanted to talk about getting her to attend meetings more frequently. He didn't want to talk about that. And she said, "Well, that's why I don't want to attend meetings."

[00:01:22]Because you guys aren't doing anything about this.

[00:01:25]So like I said, I can't share every detail, but in a couple months I'm going to be attending this public trial. And uh I'm going to be traveling to attend it and uh then report back every day what's going on.

[00:01:39]Because I want to answer two very important questions.

[00:01:43]Number one what happens with elders when they air quote investigate CSA reports versus what happens when detectives investigate this kind of thing.

[00:01:59]Detectives who are trained for this sort of thing, who specialize in CSA cases.

[00:02:06]We actually know the elder process from the Shepherd the Flock of God secret elders manual.

[00:02:12]You can find it online.

[00:02:14]But what we don't really haven't seen anyway that I've seen much is how a trial proceeds and what the detectives actually do.

[00:02:24]We compare the two.

[00:02:26]And from what we've seen, what we've documented and many others have, elders, their top priority immediately call the legal department and protect Jehovah's name or the organization's reputation.

[00:02:41]That has always really galled me because if you believe that Jehovah is the creator of the universe, the all-powerful person, can't he protect his own reputation? Why does he need little elders scurrying around trying to do PR for the organization?

[00:03:00]So 2 years ago, we had and this is my last point here, but 2 years ago we did a deep analysis of how many how many we could estimate how many predators were hiding inside the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses.

[00:03:16]And what we did is we took data from the Australian Royal Commission and I will link the video here.

[00:03:22]But we took data from the Australian Royal Commission testimony and how often abuse cases were reported. There was just a little over a thousand cases and zero of them were reported to the to the These are alleged cases were reported to police. Zero of them.

[00:03:40]And then from that we looked at how many Jehovah's Witnesses were in Australia during that time.

[00:03:47]And from that we were basically able to roughly determine that the Jehovah's Witnesses organization has a CSA problem that is roughly eight times worse than the Catholic Church.

[00:04:02]And the Catholic Church is the name that everybody associates with this.

[00:04:06]So, if you have kids and you are planning an exit, this is the warning.

[00:04:12]That it can look like a room full of uh sweet and kind loving brothers and sisters and most of them are nice people.

[00:04:21]But predators love to hide among that situation, right in there, in plain sight, and pretend to be one of those people who just wants to mentor your child.

[00:04:33]And the system isn't designed to protect kids first, it's designed to protect the organization's reputation first.

[00:04:41]And it does not give a damn about worldly kids in the, you know, the the community. They don't do anything for them.

[00:04:48]They just well, you know.

[00:04:51]So, once this trial resolves, I will bring you what I learn um and what should be happening inside the organization versus what actually is.

[00:05:00]Uh and what real detectives, real investigators, actually do.

[00:05:06]And why it's so important that mandatory reporting be the law everywhere.

[00:05:12]And that I mean, just the fact that it should be the first priority of Jehovah's Witness elders to say, "Go to the police now. We got to We got to protect the community."

[00:05:22]We We care about children. Doesn't matter.

[00:05:24]And they don't do that.

[00:05:26]So, stay safe out there. And in fact, I'll add this, stay safe by staying out of there. There being the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses.

[00:05:36]All right. Again, these these are allegations. The trial is coming up. I will be there. We're stating some opinions here, and we are not saying that this individual is guilty. but after the trial, I will be able to give you all the details, exactly who he is and what happened. Um and pending, of course, the results. So, the local prosecutor advised the mother that it may take uh yeah, 3 to 5 day, which surprised me, a 3 to 5 day trial.

[00:06:07]Apparently, trials like this don't really take It's not one of those things like you see on TV in the movies where they drag out for months. So, we should be able to find out relatively soon what the outcome is and all the details.
